One of my colleagues sent me a link showing a documentary of North Korea. It is well worth watching.

[N]ot all governments are free from tyranny and corruption, and not all people are fully protected against criminal elements, even within their own governments. Without some jurisdictions in the world enforcing reasonable rights of financial privacy, those living in un-free and corrupt jurisdictions would have no place to protect their financial assets from kidnappers, extortionists, blackmailers and assorted government and nongovernment thugs.

The documentary Kimjongilia also highlights the horrors of totalitarianism and Communism well.

Anyone read the batshit insane supporters of North Korea on the CNN articles comment section?

Vice do some really good journalism. Mostly short, gonzo-style pieces, but covering some really strange events/activities (like this piece on North Korea.) I love their sense of humour, and their editors seem to come from some kind of anarcho-libertarian-vaguely-right-wing perspective. Which is probably why, the only other time I’ve seen them get a mention in the MSM was a snarky hypercritical piece by John Harms in The Monthly. Good to know they’re still independent.

The magazine was originally a work for the dole zine project in Montreal! Good things can come out of Canada.

Fisk, Hitchens piece was proceeding well until I read this:
Following that, I was speechless.

Hitchens is an idiot with a posh accent and a well-practiced line in contrarian baiting. Nothing more.
