Higher taxes discourage the “animal spirits” of entrepreneurship. When tax rates are raised, taxpayers are encouraged to shift, hide and underreport income. Taxpayers divert their effort from pro-growth productive investments to seeking tax shelters, tax havens and tax exempt investments. This behavior tends to dampen economic growth and job creation.

I didn’t realise Alan Jones was still alive.

That interview deserves a MA rating.

It’s about time Gillard got pressed on her bullshit. Well worth the listen.

She sure wanted to move forward during that interview.

At least she is game to be interviewed by Alan Jones. Old mate Kevin didn’t have the balls.
You get this kind of interview most days on 2GB/MTR? compared to the dumbed down BS that most FM stations dish up in the morning, stressing over what celebrities are doing.

And she had the gall to mock Barnaby!

You have to give it to her though – she seems to remain composed throughout while Jones comes across as angry.

I was listening to that interview yesterday on my way to work, and I have to say — I would find her composure impressive against an aggressive and incredulous Jones, if it weren’t for her sarcastic and dismissive deflections that just purrrred with patronising smugness. Yuck.
And how about that monotonous drone of hers? Isn’t anyone worried that if we had to listen to her for the next 4 years, Australia’s productivity would diminish from people just falling asleep left, right and centre?
If anyone listened this morning by the way – Tony Abbott on superclinics… Excellent points made there. Bless ‘im….
