However I don't think he's ripping catallaxy off. he takes tips from readers and it's possible that some of his regular tipsters lurk here. In other cases, it's just the story of the moment and everyone's talking about it. In this particular instance I don't think the connection is that obvious other than in hindsight, or Swan would not have said it. I dunno, I see a lot of stories here first that end up at Bolt’s. Why don't we do the same and honour Kevin Rudd? We could have symbolic political executions. Picture it if you will... a poor lone figure is approached by a cabal and ring is formed around that lone figure. The cabal departs and what is left is the lone figure with knives protruding from his back. Maybe a postage stamp or coin in honour of Kevin? A urinal? A bus shelter?
