  1. Tal

Tom if you call him your lordship he will start a new thread, you have to grovel

  2. Tal

Fair enough Gab,I did have my brave hat on tonight

  3. Tom

Thanks, Tal. It’s just that it gets a bit scary when the counter has to start inserting commas. If one of those flies off, it could end up in someone’s front yard or accidentally kill a pet.

  4. SILENCE! The Honorable Wayne Swan, Treasurer of Australia, tweets!

    http://twitter.com/SwannyDPM/status/191810501183946752

  5. CraigS

You’re right Tom, and the rules do say thing about not creating legal liability for the site.

  6. CraigS

Well, Wayne likes to make them worth waiting for.

  7. CraigS

Well, Wayne likes to make them worth waiting for.

  8. CraigS

    I’m not doing that, promise.

  9. JC

    JC
Shout me a beer when you pick up your $1000 AUD from your US pension plan in 20 years. That is my estimate of the value after QE18.

You’re a monetary economist now, Kelly.

  10. Gab

    The Honorable

Isn’t it about time we dispense with this sham of an honorific?

  11. Yes why not you have called me everything else.

  12. Tal

Mullah Omah did you read Tom’s last post? This thread could kill.Have you no shame

  13. candy

“Yes why not you have called me everything else.”

kelly that’s really funny, you are a good sport!

  14. Isn’t it about time we dispense with this sham of an honorific?

    Yes.

Applying it to a senior government minister who Logie-tweets (or to former PM Kevin “ZOB ZOB ZOB” Rudd) feels a bit… forced.

  15. candy

    A. Bolt is losing the plot a bit I think, calling for execution of the Norway murderer.

  16. JC

    A. Bolt is losing the plot a bit I think, calling for execution of the Norway murderer.

Ya think he didn’t murder enough people to deserve capital punishment or you think he’s innocent?

  17. It’s just that it gets a bit scary when the counter has to start inserting commas. If one of those flies off, it could end up in someone’s front yard or accidentally kill a pet.

What the Honorable Tom said, Sinc.

O Doomlord, do you not care about our Elfin Safety here?!

  18. candy

Hey Kelly JC said you a monetary economist and called me an idiot. what a pair we make! I think you come out better tonite!

  19. Candy
Agree with you there, what is Bolt talking about when he suggests secret trials and execution. He all of a sudden supports non open trials. Imagine poor Mr Bolt in front of Judge Gillard.

  20. candy

“Ya think he didn’t murder enough people to deserve capital punishment or you think he’s innocent?”

    You are nasty.

  21. Gab

Excellent idea, the Honourable Spot. No point in letting them go to waste when folk more deserving…err.. deserve it.

  22. JC

I didn’t call you and idiot candy. I said stop being one, which means there’s still lots of hope.

    For kelly, not so much.

  23. Sinclair Davidson

    Have you no shame

Gab – you know full well I have no shame. None. Zip. Nada. I am shameless.

  24. Gab

    Good point. Memory fades…

  25. Gab

Tal,,,not moi….but I would have said it too.

  26. JC

    A. Bolt is losing the plot a bit I think, calling for execution of the Norway murderer.

I was being sarcastic obviously. Not nasty. The fucker killed, was it 30 people. Why is Bolt off his rocker for calling the death penalty on this barbaric animal?

  27. JamesK

    A. Bolt is losing the plot a bit I think, calling for execution of the Norway murderer.

Why is he losing the plot?

  28. Ya think he didn’t murder enough people to deserve capital punishment or you think he’s innocent?

Totalitarian alert. At least Bolt thinks a trial is ok even if it is secret but JC thinks that is too nice.

  29. Sinclair Davidson

Isn’t it fantastic? Even in its death throes LP can only get 426 comments in a week.

  30. So we have James, JC and Obama all on the same side. Me and Candy on the other. What a turn of events.

  31. JamesK

The fucker killed, was it 30 people.

67 odd on the island, 8 in Oslo from memory.

  32. JC

Totalitarian alert. At least Bolt thinks a trial is ok even if it is secret but JC thinks that is too nice.

I never read the comment Kelly, you dill. I assume Candy was correctly referencing what Bolt said and I was presuming Bolt wasn’t suggesting there should be a trial of course, In other words his sentencing should be the death penalty.

You know what pisses me off about you Kelly. It’s that you’re always impugning the worse motives of people here.

It does get pretty tiring having to always explain your presumptions are faultily based.

  33. JamesK

Obama’a not pro capital punishment surely?

  34. It’s that you’re always impugning the worse motives of people here.

I learnt from the master. Now just to get it straight he was a right winger right?

  35. Bolta isn’t calling for an execution. He’s saying that with this show trial and circus there is no possibility of one even if it were on the cards.

Breivik’s (henceforth to be known as the nucking futs murdering scumbag) is not a complete idiot and he obviously knows his socialist Norway well.

Because they are all supposed to be so very understanding and caring, and also it fits the paradigm of teh Evil Right Wingnuts, he’ll play them to ensure that he’s found not guilty by reason of insanity, and his alleged influences will be convicted in absentia and in his stead.

He gets to live in peace and notoriety at the State’s leisure, while said State can use him as en excuse to crunch down ever harder on dissent in any form.

    That’s my prediction, anyway.

  36. JC

Just read it. Bolt didn’t suggest the animal not undergo an trial. He’s suggesting it shouldn’t have been telecast as there is no reason to. He doesn’t deserve an inch of publicity. Why is he wrong, you two?

  37. Sinclair Davidson

    Opened a new forum.

  38. Obama’a not pro capital punishment surely?

    Nah, just death by Seals.

  39. JamesK

Why is ur mind full of twaddle Kelly?

  40. JC

I learnt from the master. Now just to get it straight he was a right winger right?

European type right winger, yes he was. Your point being what eggsactly, Kelly, you drunken Irishman.

  41. candy

Before A. Bolt removes it -
    he said:
“This is a man who should have been tried quietly, almost secretly, and executed miserably, humiliatingly. (I’m reminded here of the powerful finale of Angels With Dirty Faces, in which a priest persuades a murderer who’d resolved to die game to go instead to the electric chair screaming and crying, to “die yeller” to warn off the buys who admired him still.)”

it’s disappointing he would say that. the norway killer should be judged, put in jail/psych and forgotton. like martin bryant – just the same.

  42. JamesK

    Wash ur mouth JC.

Kelly couldn’t possibly have the blood of Fionn mac Cumhaill coursing thru his/her/its veins surely?

  43. Gab

He already had a psych eval and the judge dismissed it. Rightly so too.

  44. JamesK

This is a man who should have been tried quietly, almost secretly, and executed miserably, humiliatingly.

    Well said that man!

  45. JC

…it’s disappointing he would say that. the norway killer should be judged, put in jail/psych and forgotton. like martin bryant – just the same.

Why? The scores of lives he took should mean he spends his time in a nice psychiatric hospital with nursing staff and medicos looking after him and group therapy sessions every afternoon.

    That’s all the lives mean.

  46. JamesK

It’s disappointing Candy would say that.

The norway killer should be judged, tried quietly, almost secretly, and executed miserably, humiliatingly.

  47. JC

Kelly couldn’t possibly have the blood of Fionn mac Cumhaill coursing thru his/her/its veins surely?

It’s all that freaking cheap beer he drinks from 12 on.

  48. JC

    Candy

He killed 67 people. He doesn’t deserve to live nor even talk other than strictly supervised statements to defend himself, not talk about the right of the court to try him.

He has nothing to say that people would want to listen to.

  49. JamesK

Look this needs to be said for leftists about and those influnced bt their excrutiating ego-driven piety.

It would be immoral not to execute Breivik should he be found guilty of mass murder.

And that I predict will be the verdict.

  50. candy

    James K
take a look at the comments tomorrow on Mr bolt’s forum on that article and i bet you will see a lot will feel like i feel.

it depends on the moderation though, his moderators live in a world of their own.

  51. JamesK

Morality isn’t a populist game Candy.

In fact for ur information the majority of our population quite rightly support capital punishment.

It would be immoral not to execute should he befound guilty of mass murder.

It’s not even remotely difficult consideration.

  52. candy

it’s not up to us rational people to take out life, JamesK. God expects us to keep a lid on that kind of thinking.

  53. JamesK

In fact the bible explicitly supports capital punishment Candy.

  54. JC

it’s not up to us rational people to take out life, JamesK. God expects us to keep a lid on that kind of thinking.

    It’s totally disrespecting the dead.

  55. JamesK

Why should the family friends and loved ones of a victim of a callous murderer pay taxes to keep that murderer incarcerated in prison where he has legal rights for 20 years before he’s free?

The murderer deprived the victim of life permanently and cruelly.

    This obituary has gone viral

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2129627/Michael-Flathead-Blanchard-obituary-internet-sensation-Facebook.html

A Celebration of the life of Michael “Flathead” Blanchard will be held on April 14th, 3 pm 8160 Rosemary St, Commerce City. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone’s courageous battle with death, Mike wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors’ orders and raising hell for more than six decades. He enjoyed booze, guns, cars and younger women until the day he died.
Mike was born July 1944 in Colorado to Clyde and Ethel Blanchard. A community activist, he is noted for saving the Dr. Justina Ford house from demolition and defending those who could not defend themselves. He was a Republican delegate, life member of the NRA, founder and President of the Dead Cats MC. He loved music.
Mike was preceded in death by Clyde and Ethel Blanchard, survived by his beloved sons Mike and Chopper, former wife Jane Transue, brother Stephen Blanchard (Susan), Uncle Don and Aunt Cynthia Blanchard(his favorite); Uncle Dill and Aunt Dot, cousins and nephews, Baba Yaga can kiss his butt. So many of his childhood friends that weren’t killed in Vietnam went on to become criminals, prostitutes and/or Democrats. He asks that you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. As the Celebration will contain Adult material we respectfully ask that no children under 18 attend.

  57. JC

You gotta love the birthers. They’re still at it.

Here’s a court case on you tube.

    LOl

Challenges to Obama’s name on the 2012 election ballot have appeared in more than half a dozen states already.

I’m still waiting for the important case: Graeme Bird vs Barack Obama to go to the Supreme court.
