The Ethics Committee will tut-tut and say that it was all in a good cause, pat him lightly on the back of the hand, and make him promise never, ever to do it again.

At least, that’s what I’m hoping doesn’t happen. Personally, I hope this is the point at which his more sensible supporters start to realise that he’s ethically and professionally tainted.
