    Question:

    If you wanna change servers, are you able to run a parallel test for a while to see if they work properly and therefore have two sets going at the same time?

    I was half starting to thinkl he might have been behind it… especially since there were no dancing kittens or daleks in frilly tutus this time

    Me too, or at least some sort of deniable funny business. (Future form will probably be to put pressure on ISPs to make unfriendly sites bug-happy and perenially crashy.)

    I suffered terrible withdrawal symptoms. Headaches. Visions of pink elephants. Dead babies crawling across the ceiling. And just when I have almost completely withdrawn, the Cat comes back up.

I have been away walking mountain trails in alternating sunshine and da snowflakes, incommunicado in Tasmania for the weekend, with only the flame of burning logs for entertainment. Now I come back to civilisation and a nice purring new Cat with secure ID’s once more. Civilisation is good. You are genius! I am no longer Alfonso. Did anyone get to be me? If so, what did I say? (This ID swap was sort of interesting, in a panic-inducing way.)

    It’s not crucial. Keeping the site up is more important than the “groovy” features that others ant lie without out.

    Middle level technical details as well if you don’t mind. It just seems odd that there was so many issues manifesting in different ways.
    Also, there needs to be a Maintenance Fund button. Maybe we can be self supporting.

  66. Bloody hell, down all week end! Thank you Jacques! Now we know how much we need you.

    I even tried to read the MSM but I shouted at the family and picked too many fights: I mocked my neighbours new water saving fixture in her new expensive house ( I told her I could piss stronger than that) I undermined education (I told my son his “domestic technology” teacher – it’s bloody sewing, was incompetent and I didn’t care if he failed). The MSM was like poison …

    I needed the rudeness and logic and curtness and IDEAS! God only know what more than 48 hours would have led to…
