Hard at work

It is now beyond any kind of sense that support for this man as President has not completely evaporated. What does he offer? Because whatever it is, it’s not blood, toil, tears and sweat. This is what Obama did in September instead of meeting with world leaders, or doing anything else for that matter that might fit into the job description of a president.

  1. Well the sense of it is that Obama’s supporters, the intelectual Left and the people who are dependent on government patronage, may outnumber the people independent of government. 47% taxpayers or no. Thats a game changer, they can hold a structural majority until the deficit hits $US50trillion or so. 3 election cycles?

  4. Am just thinking back to Kevin 07 and how he appeared on whatever that morning TV show is that I never watch, because I never watch daytime TV and not much nighttime TV, especially ABC news. It, unfortunately worked for him. Do you think this will work for Obama?? please NOT.

The USofA is in constant election mode.
It’s as boring as dry dog shit.
My only interest is which of the two Hollywood tarts is more likely to get closer to “free trade” rather than just pretend the US prefers a ” level playing field ”
Mittens should be better than O’baby.

  8. Seems like Americans want a celebrity president rather than a real one. Famous for being famous. Nothing between the ears.

  12. Would love to see Romney say, “Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon automatically for anything he might have done. As a balancing act, I’m going to throw Obama’s arse in the can to rot.”

  17. Are the 47% of parasites who leech and sponge off the workers while whining about the lousy deal they have, the same people as the ones so cretinously dribblingly stupid as to vote for a “celebrity” or are the two groups not identical?

If the latter, then Romney is stuffed, and indirectly, so are we.

  18. The two groups overlap closely, Whalehunt. I notice that the American left is similar to the Australian left in that they both place a high premium on celebrity dribble.

  20. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus just held an impromptu press gaggle and said, “We’re going to outspend the DNC 10-to-1 for the next six weeks.” Asked about polls showing Romney-Ryan trailing in Ohio, Priebus said “we’re within a field goal and we’re going to crush [the Democrats] on the ground.”

  21. What Obama and his allies are doing now: “The Democrats want to convince [these anti-Obama voters] falsely that Romney will lose to discourage them from voting. So they lobby the pollsters to weight their surveys to emulate the 2008 Democrat-heavy models. They are lobbying them now to affect early voting.

  22. Obama, in an interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes, said recent violence in the Mideast was due to “bumps in the road” on the way to democracy.

Oh, really. Having your embassy trashed and the ambassador murdered on the anniversary of 9/11 is one hell of a fucking pothole, and it doesn’t fucking matter what film upset them beforehand.

  26. If you really pay attention to the photo’s you’ll see that Obama is using soft interviews and celebrity to avoid addressing the problems with the economy.

If you need to understand why see how bad he was with the 60 Minute interview. How many flubs can a man make?

  27. … to avoid addressing the problems with the economy.

    Let’s not forget everything else.

There are three categories of people who will vote for him.

    1) The people who want “the stuff from his stash”. This includes a broad range of greedy parasites from shiftless ne’er-do-wells all the way to the directors of Solyndra.
    2) The people who honestly, seriously think (or have deluded themselves into thinking) the US will become hell on earth for blacks, gays and women the day Mitt Romney becomes President (hint, people: that’s what the Second Amendment is there for).
    3) The people who come in their pants every time he switches on his Celebrity Mode™.

No doubt there is an overlap between these three groups. Can anyone suggest more?
