While Macquarie has decided to drop all advertising on Alan Jones’ radio show, let’s not forget that this incompetent and corrupt government continues to be propped up by two men still on the taxpayers’ teat.
First there’s “Cry Baby” Pete Slipper, whose misogynist text messages and general grafting behaviour make him unworthy to be an MP let along the Speaker.
Crying Slippery is the absent Speaker, collecting an extra $70,000 a year as Speaker (plus the huge office with lots of male and female staff). He was appointed Speaker on 24 November 2011 and has so far served 19 sitting days before standing aside. Yet he has the gall to pocket the extra salaries and allowances and go on first-class junkets around the world.
Then there is Craig “it wasn’t me” Thomson who now pretends he had nothing to do with Michael Williamson. Sure, pull the other leg Craig – Hansard has kindly recorded the words you said in your Maiden Speech on 19 February 2008:
Michael Williamson, the HSU national president, was a marvel in relation to the long-term support he provided to me.
Now Craig claims that he is
not surprised
by Williamson’s arrest and
… it is worth me repeating that personally I have always maintained that I have been innocent of any of these allegations that have been made
Both Slipper and Thomson may claim to ‘know nothing’, but they do know how to vote for Julia Gillard. In this they are joined by quite a number of shameless MPs supporting the Gillard Government, including Kevin Rudd, Rob Oakeshott, Tony Windsor etc. All denying the Australian people the chance to cast their verdict on this incompetent Government.
Craig Thomson, Peter Slipper, Rob Oakeshott and Tony Windsor: do not forget their names!

Mac / 2GB needs to take care.
Jones, Hadley and Smith decide to buy and work the Fairfax radio assets with Gina then Singo has nothing…..2GB would be a commercial nothing. .
What happened to the speakers position becoming vacant if the speaker fails to take the chair for a certain period of time?
The Gillard government will go down in the history books alongside Whitlam for incompetence and maladministration. Their long term damage to the Australian economy could be even greater.
How does one delay an AFP investigation?
Or are they inept ?
I mean, even the Ruddsweargate leak investigation is too hard it seems.
Yes poor old cry baby, ‘I love my wife’ Peter. Missing his daily fancy dress up parade. I suppose we have to be careful here, anyway how the poor wife could ever speak or look at him again without wanting to stab him, particularly after learning of that wonderful text he sent to his staffer, describing women’s genitalia. Charming. Wonder what the handbag mafia have to say about that. And I’m just all so innocent me Thomson. Keeping his credit cards and mobile phone in locked safe every night darling, so that clever thief doesnt come again in the middle of the night and grab it. Life must be ever so dull at the moment.mmm.
Who paid for Slipper’s disgusting text anyway? I wonder if he made it on a taxpayer-funded phone provided for work purposes. I wonder how else he has used that phone, associated maybe with his taxi faring.
Sending messages like that on your work phone would be a sacking offense in the private sector. Your taxes at work, ladies.
heh they fought so hard to get Slipper as Speaker. Another tactic that backfired on them. Joy, oh joy.
Who’s gillards next choice for speaker..some girlie boy from Bangkok
Rest assured Lizzie, the text would have been sent through on a tax pay funded phone. Had a phone call this evening from one of my best mates (her daughter used to work for the Slipper), she asked me if I had read in the Sun Courier Mail or whatever, that Slipper is hosting a Serbian themed party in his office and speaker’s courtyard next week in Canberra. All per favour of our tax dollars. There apparently is a copy of the invitation printed in todays Sun whatever. This must be before he swans off on another overseas trip. Life wasnt meant to be easy for an out of work speaker.
The snag with all of these scandles is that she knows that come sept.14 its all over. But she has left such a mess that it will take at least two hard terms to start to clean it up, and the ALP hopes that by then people will be fed up with Tony Abbott and his “Hard Ways”, and they the ALP will have re-invented themselves , and then its a repeat of how to make a big mess of things.
Michael.
