Liberal Senator Sue Boyce rightly states that it would be inappropriate for an overseas delegation to be led by the disgraced Speaker, Peter Slipper.
Yet she hasn’t yet said that she will boycott the IPU conference in Quebec (and the bilateral trip to Argentina).
Tony Abbott’s Chief of Staff, Peta Credlin, is right to warn Opposition staffers to boycott functions hosted by the Speaker, saying it would be ‘inappropriate’ to attend. So too would it be inappropriate for Opposition MPs to attend a conference with Peter Slipper.
In any case, the IPU is a relic filled with anti-democratic countries. Australia should resign altogether.

Good advice.
The opposition have raised the stakes, so frankly they have to either follow through or fold.

Sue Boyce is a cretin and a disgrace to the Liberal party. Crossed the floor on the ETS.
