  3. Slightly off topic, but an area appreciated by the Cat contributors, a most dazzling, fair and positive article reflecting the qualities of Mitt Romney to the Australian public:

    Simply pathetic IMO

  4. I saw this video in the sidebar of Gab’s link: Jim Carrey on Barack Obama. It’s just a little reminder of the mood at the beginning of Obama’s presidency. Obama was going to make the world love America, especially the Muslim world. Well, lefties, you were 100% wrong. The Muslim world has just murdered an American ambassador. Lefties, do you have the decency to admit to your error?

  5. “DOPE”

In honour of the many years spent in “da Choom Gang”, shouldn’t he be puffin’ on a spliff?

At least then nanna roxon couldn’t get all shouty and lecturey with the embarrassing dope.

  7. Ken S, if the writer changed the word Mormon with Muslim in that article he’d be living in hiding and answering to the press council.

  8. Mr response Ken S:

Is this article for real. You guys really are afraid of the Republicans and Mormons aren’t you?

PS: As Obama acted with arrogance during the first debate, Romney will be the new president in 3 weeks times.

If you want an adult to do a profile on Romney rather than something that panders to people’s ignorance and prejudices, use the email address I’ve used on this posting.

  9. From the comments:

His family are pretty gifted, they were able to travel back in time to the early 19th century (early 1800′s) before the religion was even founded, so that they could flee to Mexico to avoid prosecution. I guess some proof reading never hurts when writing editorials.

  10. This is a sure sign that the Left know the tides have turned and their “Hope&Change” charlatan will lose on November 6.

Paul Joseph Watson reports for Infowars, Oct. 17, 2012, that “threats to assassinate Romney exploded on Twitter after Tuesday night’s second presidential debate” over fears that their food stamps will be taken away if when Romney wins the election.

This is in addition to threats made in recent days by Obama supporters to riot if Romney wins.

The primary reason given for Obama supporters wanting to see Romney dead is the fear that he will take away food stamps.

    Watson rightly notes that:

“If the tables were turned and conservatives were making death threats against Obama in these numbers, it would be a national news story. Indeed, the mere act of hanging empty chairs from trees as a reference to Clint Eastwood’s RNC speech was hyped by the media as a deadly sign that conservatives were out to lynch black people if Obama won.

However, the major networks have remained completely silent on the disturbing trend of Obama supporters threatening to resort to violence if their candidate fails to secure a second term.”

    Here’s a sample of assassination threats compiled by Twitchy, made by Obama supporters made during and after the debate;

The comments are rather vile. What is it with the left and violence?

The horror/beauty of twitter is it all goes on the record and can not be denied.

It has been surprising how vacuous the Obama campaign has been. What where they thinking believing they could cruise through a second time by emoting.

That crap works with simpletons like SoB & Lars, but not with adults who need to feed their family and want to get ahead.

  13. This is in addition to threats made in recent days by obongo supporters to riot if Mittens wins.

Cool. The obongoists will only end up (further) trashing the target free war zones they exist in, so ultimately, no one will give a shit.

    Hey, lobotomised leichhardt lezzo stormfr@nt!

Aren’t you now even more pissed off than ever that you’re banned, Baby, BANNED?!?!

  14. Beautifully ironic if it’s true: Candy Crowley is the tipping point.

  15. Candy Crowley is the tipping point.

I thought so when I saw the debate.

I noted on another thread that the gotcha questions Crowley set up for Mitt were so well answered they put a lot of minds to rest.

The answer to the question on how he is different to George W Bush was great. There were many other great comments about the economy that are equally as good.

All thanks to Crowley trying to tilt the scales for the feckless Sun King.

  16. American Crossroads advert gives a series of clips with a timeline of the quotes released by the Obama admin about the Benghazi attack.

Candy Crowley helps finish the ad by her statement which reinforcing the thesis.

Crossroads, Freedomworks and SOFA are all grassroots PACs worth supporting, IMO. And there’s just nothing like any of them in Oz. Apathy FTW.

  22. Obama’s “Truth Team” is being run by children:

Oops: Obama’s ‘Truth Team’ tweets ‘Narnia can go shove it,’ quickly deletes

Hey, remember when everyone just accepted that social media was the natural domain of the Left, and that they’d rule it forever because conservatives would never catch on?

  23. the question on how he is different to George W Bush

In all fairness, I thought this was one of the better questions of the night. I thought at the time it had its “gotcha” element but then realised that if Romney really did have his shit together, he should have no problem with it. Part of him proving his worthiness for the position is his ability to differentiate himself from both his immediate predecessors, and I think he did this well.

IIRC the upcoming debate is foreign policy only, so the ability for him to get nailed on trendy leftist talking points (women, abortion, gay rights, etc.) which are for the most part domestic issues are substantially lessened.

What the hell are you on about? You prefer it when donors are anonymous? That’s not apathy, its ignorance.
