Liberty Quotes
The liberty the citizen enjoys is to be measured not by governmental machinery he lives under, whether representative or other, but by the paucity of restraints it imposes upon him.

Oh come on – who is doing the earth hour thing??
Not me Dianne. I relish the annual Hour of Power, particularly Tim Blair’s reporting of it.
Fuck local government.
Poley bears are drowning ‘cos there’s no more cold ice, the Miniscule Barrier Reef has been minisculed into oblivion by your Woolworths shopping bags, Priiii sales have gone through the floor and only one of youse cares?
Earth Hour is intrinsically anti-progress. Quite awful actually.
Which is composed of whom, nowadays, exactly?
Lardarse, the Goose and the Nuclear Milkman appear to have cobbled this Fascist Frankenstein together.
As for their intentions, even the Mole™ is stumped. He basically said:
He also suggested it was literally a “throw the cards up in the air and see what happens” scenario.
If we aren’t entering the end of days then I’m a…
Or maybe not.
Yes
No
Can’t come up with a reason for proposing it at this time in the first place
No – And why the f*ck would you?
No – depending on the circumstances.
Hour of Power, aka “Human achievement Hour” – Yes
Sam, Because of the impossibility of answering the first question, I can’t complete this survey. Please feel free to incorporate my other responses into your results.
The two thoughts I’ve had are that it is an issue to wedge the news papers with come election time, or that it is being introduced to fail today but get people used to the idea so that it can be introduced successfully down the track.
When the Coalition are in government?
Agreed. Didn’t know there were any greens on here.
In Survey 1, along with 18 others, I optimistically nominated 23 rd March as the date for the Federal Election.
Maybe I should do penance by joining the 3 from this survey committed to the “earth hour thing”. LOL
Well, maybe Hammy voted 3 times!
