That gross hypocrite, Bob Carr, has resigned from the Senate. This was the man who said he long aspired to be a Senator and yet has not even completed his first term, let alone the one to which he was elected on 7 October 2013.
Carr stated that the Gillard government
… had lost its way when at a Cabinet meeting convened to discuss coal seam gas, a big package of media reforms dropped on the table
remarkably similar language to that used by Julia Gillard in describing Rudd Mark I
… because I believed that a good government was losing its way …
Samuel J. will not be a candidate for the Senate position to replace Bob Carr.
What’s the probability that a Union official will be selected to replace Carr? About 90 per cent I guess.
Andrew Bolt puts it well
Had fun as foreign minister, appointed – unelected – to the Senate. Now that he has just been elected he’s off. Opposition is for losers.
