Here is the headline on Time Magazine’s story about the Australian bushfires
Climate Change Affects Australia’s Epic Wildfires — No Matter What Prime Minister Says
Here are the three corrections (so far) that Time has made about the article
An earlier version of this article misstated that New South Wales is in southwestern Australia. It is in southeastern Australia.
An earlier version of this article misstated the name of the executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change. She is Christiana Figueres, not Christina.
An earlier version of this article misstated the name of a former Prime Minister of Australia. She is Julia Gillard, not Gilliard.
If Time can’t understand geography and the correct spelling of names, why should we trust it on climate change?
Australia’s anthropogenic CO2 emissions have absolutely nothing to do with these fires.
However, man does get implicated. Some young boys have been caught deliberately lighting the fires.
Don’t blame climate change for the fires. Blame some pyromaniacs and weather conditions which have created the tinderbox environment suitable for such horrendous fires.
