Western Civilisation Symposium 2014

Here is Chris Berg talking about Western Civilisation last year.

The IPA is running another symposium this year:

On Friday 9 May 2014, the Institute of Public Affairs’ Foundations of Western Civilisation Program will be holding its second symposium: “Liberty and Democracy in Western Civilisation”.

Featuring Roger Scruton, the world’s greatest conservative thinker, along with John Howard, Ryan Messmore, Ian Callinan, Janet Albrechtsen, Tim Wilson, Kevin Donnelly, Nick Cater and many others, this promises to be the most intellectually stimulating event of the year.

The full program is available here, and a list of all the great speakers is available here.

  1. Don’t forget to tell them that I am going! Surely a drawcard worth the registration fee.

I shall also be signing autographs in the lobby afterwards.

    I promise. ;)

I was going but then I heard a strange lady wearing bells was attending… :D

    Haha…Gab!

I’m responsible for three new recruits for the IPA this week plus my ex-husband.

    I’m wear’n my bells!

The left forced onto us the Australian “Cultural cringe” in the 80′s & 90′s. We were a test run for exporting it to the rest of the world.

Yes, but Splatty, are you coming to the thing, and will you be wearing bells?
