HELP WANTED.

Applications are invited for the position of Electorate Liaison Officer, as part of the electorate staff of Liberal Democrats Senator-elect David Leyonhjelm.

The role is to primarily work pro-actively with selected constituencies and their representatives to pursue issues and objectives consistent with the values of the Liberal Democrats.

The incumbent will be expected to work co-operatively within a team, cope with uncivilised working hours, have the discipline to manage time and priority pressures, and ideally bring a sound understanding of government affairs and political processes.

The position is based in Drummoyne (Sydney) but the incumbent will be required to accompany the Senator to Canberra during some sitting periods.

    The battle must be played out on the main field in full view of Austalia’s voters , not on the sidelines. Sen-elect Leyonhjelm is no doubt a worthy addition to the upper house, but he must prove he has the nation’s best interests foremost, ahead of any other agenda, before I trust any of these buggers with balance of power.

    Interesting to see the cost of Leard’s book. I have got a couple of copies. These prices are more reasonable, but stock is limited!
