  1. Anne

    You got inside information Gab?

    You a double agent?

  2. That Trevorrow is like all other actors/artists they get on the show. Making a complete dickhead of himself and showing just how far out of his depth he is when amongst adults.

  3. Carpe Jugulum

John R finally gets to speak.

  4. calli

Good question about government providing … everything.

  5. Rich

‘Back to the days where only the wealthy went to uni’

Didn’t it used to be free, Anna?

  6. Gab

Nah, that lot are just utterly predictable, Anne.

  7. Carpe Jugulum

Roskam nails it on the federal health & education depts.

  8. That Pallavi chick at least has the good sense to sit there looking cheerful. (And hotter than a pistol – pant pant pant pant pant pant pant pant)

    Has she said anything yet?

  9. Douglas McAllister

I have always thought of uni students as a bunch of ignorant self-scented opinionated a*******s ; tonite on Q & A they proved it. How dare a rabble take over what we all believe is they only truthful unbiased and independant media. How dare they interupt my viewing time with their selfish rantings. How dare they feel they are above the democracy that we, the informed public, acknowledge as the standard. Who the hell do they think they are? On top of that they play into the hands of that arrogant p***k Christoher Whine.

  10. calli

    You got inside information Gab?

    You a double agent?

Deep cover. Gab drew up the banner then sabotaged it so they hung it backwards.

  11. Carpe Jugulum

anna the burke, we don’t have a budget crisis we have a population crisis.

FMD that is a stupid bint.

  12. The panelists are a bit flat; I think they’re all shaken up.

  13. Splatacrobat

Aussie you only have to look at the preprepared questions Snowcone allows to be asked. He knows exactly what theme he wants
. The questions asked are from scripts. Jones knows exactly which way the program will play out. He just forgot his socialist yoof son,t follow scripts.

  14. Turtle of WA

Don’t make me come over there, Turtle!

It’d be quite a… no I hate that word too.

  15. Baldrick

Well done Gab … you have the mind of a savant.

  16. Menai Pete

Anna is going to mention “social justice” soon …

  17. Rousie

    Bourke’s got nothing, zip, nada

  18. Cheryl

    Taxation civilises our society???

  19. FMD, Anna Berk just said “unis produce people who contribute greatly to society, like social workers
    FMD x 10

  20. Carpe Jugulum

    hotter than a pistol

    Really?, i’m not seeing it.

  21. calli

Anna’s hand gesture teacher was Peter Garrett.

  22. Shelley

    Anna is quite loopy.

  23. CatAttack

The wealth should not determine anything!!!! Really.

  24. Tracey

Anna: “Yes!” to border protection. Words fail me.

  25. custard

Burke shows that the ALP does not know what it stands for.

    She is just blathering nonsense…..

  26. Gab

hahahaha watching Anna bourke sans sound looks like she’s doing Al Johnston impersonations. Is she going to break out in song and Do a “Mammy” rendition?

  27. hotter than a pistol

    Really?, i’m not seeing it.

Carpe, your set badly needs adjusting. (just sayin’)

  28. Anne

Death stare from Pyne. He is a cold hard man. Love it!

  29. Baldrick

Anna Burke is very strange … very.

  30. Andrew

Anna is quite retarded tbh…not remotely smart at all.

  31. caveman

    Fuk Bourke is getting annoying

  32. pete m

Sorry Gab – your call on the audience stack is one made every week – not sure why everyone is thinking this is somehow a great catch given every week the audience cheers wildly for lefty green points and sits muted when a coalition person speaks.

meh – watched for 1 minute hoping for a riot and saw A Burke asking for a man “this big” – embarassing really.

  33. Carpe Jugulum

Annas dress designer went to crazy cat lady college, class of ’54.

  34. calli

Snowcone in short…forget the last six years…what are you going to do?

    Yay…more Demos!

  35. Andrew

The shouter is one of the most well known Trots going around in the country.

  36. Aussie you only have to look at the preprepared questions Snowcone allows to be asked. He knows exactly what theme he wants

sure, but lefties turn up because they love the show; I would be very surprised – astonished in fact – if he had any hand at all in actively stacking it.
His influence is running the on-screen discussion.

  37. Turtle of WA

This is happening just when Labor is considering ‘socialist’ in its constitution.

  38. Carpe Jugulum

So tonight is socialist alliance x Pyne.

Yep 47% conservative – no worries.

  39. Gab

Really, Pete? A mob of students stop the show with their chants and yelling and swing a banner over the head of the panelists each week? Wow. What show have I been watching then?

  40. custard

The carping from the audience shows the left is starting to get hysterical about the budget

  41. Rich

Redistribute wealth away…that was already redistributed

  42. calli

Thanks Andrew. A ‘professional’ student, then?

  43. Tracey

‘Redistribute wealth away from the most needy’ or something to that affect…
WTF! That would entail ‘the needy’ producing the wealth and handing it over to those who already have it, luv.

  44. Gab

The shouter is one of the most well known Trots going around in the country.

    What’s his name, Andrew?

  45. Ozgrandpoba

    roskam disappointing tonite.

  46. The shouter is one of the most well known Trots going around in the country.

For some reason I can’t help thinking of what happened to Trotsky. (Just a thought, not attempting to incite/motivate anybody, oh no siree, I wouldn’t want to do that).

  47. Anne

Oh dear, what an unfortunate looking fellow this comedian is.

  48. calli

The comedian doesn’t believe in a budget crisis. Funny that.

  49. Carpe Jugulum

Bob down shows what a gay beta arsehat looks like.

  50. egg_

Tonight: if gay marriage was allowed would James Packer and David Gyngell have avoided coming to blows about climate change?

A “falling out” over the young cameraman?
Bob Downe will be right on it!

  51. Mike of Marion

FMD, there really are some oxygen thieves alive at the moment.

  52. Notafan

I’ve quit early start tomorrow, Pyne has shown himself to be extremely well prepared, totally comfortable with any questions and across the issues in his portfolio.
Anna Burke relied on personal anecdotes and emotive language.

  53. custard

Roskam worries me with the long shut eyelids

  54. Turtle of WA

Not a clap for creating wealth.

  55. Baldrick

No … not Anna ‘I’m a socialist’ Burke again. FFS

  56. Ozgrandpoba

not sure why this human rights rent seeker has a position on this panel tonite, the week before the budge. Does she have any expertise in these matters at all?? and roskam’s answer just now was plain stupid. wealthiest australians john? you think packer is going to pay 50c in the dollar? stokes?

  57. Andrew

anna the burke, we don’t have a budget crisis we have a population crisis.

She ought to know – they imported them

  58. Rich

Does it really matter how the audience vote?

Surely the point is who gets to ask a question – 4 (ish) questions from a socialist group, and now we are apparently concocting the deficit and pile of debt

  59. I want Pallavi Sinha’s phone number (pant pant pant)

  60. custard

notafan I’m 2 hrs behind here in WA sorry you cant stay

  61. Gab

Anna Burke flat out lying again.

  62. CatAttack

Public Servants have to be doing something useful not just collecting a wage.

  63. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From Gabrielle at 9:50 pm:

” Tonight: if gay marriage was allowed would James Packer and David Gyngell have avoided coming to blows about climate change?

    Yes.”

I asked Tony Abbott that question this very night and he said it was a private matter between consenting males which really ought to have been – err, umm – handled indoors, or at least after all the local kiddies had gone to bed.

  64. calli

    Anna denying government debt exists.

Don’t worry everyone…Anna’s jazz hands will make it all go away.

  65. Carpe Jugulum

I’ll retract my earlier assessment, i honestly thought Pyne would struggle.

I was wrong, i admit it.

  66. Anne

    “A mining tax with teeth.”

Dillberry has been dying to say that all night.

Half the show is serious, half is slapstick!

  67. Ozgrandpoba

riled up by roskam of all the ppl tonite…I am NOT anywhere near the wealthiest of australians you idiot and will be paying half- HALF- my income in tax. Why are you abandoning your position?

  68. Pyne is restoring my faith in the government.

  69. Tracey

Jeeze, I wore a choker thing with a bead like that in Grade 8. I’m 50 now.

  70. Splatacrobat

    Collaboration = group mooching

  71. Turtle of WA

Pyne is restoring my faith in the government.

I met him once. I got the same impression.

  72. Baldrick

When are Australian governments going to fund research in universities so I can keep my job.

  73. C.L.

I’ve always said Burke is a few MPs short of a quorum.

  74. What’s his name, Andrew?
    Omar Hassan
    https://www.facebook.com/OmarSherrife?fref=ts

His Facebook photo is enough. Wants shooting, as blokes in the bush say (this-is-not-a-death-threat-nor-an-inducement)

  75. Tracey

Imagine being trapped in a room with the majority of the Twits who Tweet during QandA…

  76. calli

Imagine you are running a business! There’s a thought.

  77. John Roskam is starting to pull his weight. You’re not on your own Mr. Pyne.

  78. Anne

How old is Roskam? Is it possible he’ll ever run for office?

    Class act.

  79. custard

    Aussie P
Pyne has been great tonight he is clearly across the governments and his own view on a lot of issues
    very good performance

  80. Carpe Jugulum

Roskam gets brutal with the rentseeker.

    ’bout fvking time i say.

Oh great anna the burke has an arts degree, oxygen thief.

  81. Gab

Listen to them all squeal like feral pigs when they believe their funding teat will be removed.

As a taxpayer, it’s music to my ears.

  82. calli

Anna’s free Arts degree was money well spent.

  83. Andrew

How old is Roskam? Is it possible he’ll ever run for office?

    Class act.

Was going to run in Higgins after Costello but didnt have the numbers.

  84. Mike of Marion

Anna B appears to be mentally not with it tonight

  85. C.L.

Burke: R&D nowadays can’t be done in competition.

    Wow. Just wow.

  86. calli

They need longevity, they need to know what’s happening in the future…

Bloody hell..don’t we all. I’d like to know if the phone will ring tomorrow with a contract… Dipsticks.

  87. C.L.

Anna B appears to be mentally not with it tonight

    Tonight?

  88. Beertruk

Comedian is a waste of space. Hasn’t said anything relevant except smartarse comments.

  89. CatAttack

Yep I have always thought Pyne a class act who is obviously across his portfolio.

  90. hzhousewife

Excellent Roskam answer – money can come from PRIVATE sources not just public

  91. Foggyfig

Damn you lot! I was only going to follow the thread tonight. Now I am going to want to watch it. :( (

Lucky I am on WA time.

  92. Baldrick

20% of all research grants are approved with some funding … imagine what the other 80% must be like.

  93. C.L.

qanda tweet: “If government doesn’t fund science and research, who will?”

  94. calli

Foggy…hint. Fortify yourself with icecream…or something stronger.

  95. qanda tweet: “If government doesn’t fund science and research, who will?”

Excellent Roskam answer – money can come from PRIVATE sources not just public

I thought he said “not public”. If not, that’s certainly what he meant.

  97. Baldrick

Anna Burke – We have a great democracy and a great parliament and we should never trash it.

    Hmm … 2 words – Peter Slipper.

  98. Carpe Jugulum

If government doesn’t fund science and research, who will?”

I guess those nitwits have never heard of private sector funding for research with merit.

  99. hzhousewife

Enjoy Foggyfig worth it for Pyne and Roskam – and the retro demo !!

  100. calli

    Downe crawls to Burke. Erk.

  101. Anne

There’s something a bit sad about an old, not smart ponce trying so hard.

  102. Carpe Jugulum

    Foggy…hint.

Beer & crisps, you know it makes sense.

  103. Anne

There’s something a bit sad about an old, not smart, ponce.

  104. Tracey

Foggy, you’re gonna need beer, wine, chocolate, cheese and probably something involving bacon.

  105. calli

Well peoples, you have just witnessed our hard earned at work. Quality tv of a standard that could only be produced by their ABC.

  106. Shelley

    aaaarrrghhhh singing.

  107. Turtle of WA

Next week … a full lefty setup.

  108. Baldrick

Snowcone – Next week with a highly vetted audience …

    First thing he’s got right.

  109. Andrew

I had the sound down – did Snowcone just say Alannah Mc457 was from Penrith???

  110. Carpe Jugulum

    Lady’s and Gentlemen, we have a new record on Interruption Lotto;

    112 Interruptions.

    I fucking kid you not.

  111. Gab

    Joe Hildebrand ‏@Joe_Hildebrand 42m

    Tonight’s Q&A audience: 36pc Socialist Alternative; 42pc Alternative Socialists; 22pc Green. #qanda

    Nailed it.

  112. CatAttack

Highly vetted audience. That would be a change. Q&A is becoming more like the Don Lane show. We’ll have the Tony Batuchio dances on next.

  113. Rousie

    Good Lord.
    Bring back the protesters

  114. custard

For all the clam bit faults of Slipper I thought he was a good speaker

  115. hzhousewife

Sorry Anne not clear enough. I thought Roskam was pointing out to the scientist that he
should consider trying to get fundng from private sources not just government.

  116. Aaron

I had the sound down – did Snowcone just say Alannah Mc457 was from Penrith???

Haha he did. The Socialist Alternative gremlins must have got into the auto cue.

  117. Foggy fig, like you I am now compelled to watch. I have always like Pyne, he seems passionate about education and two of his 4 children have learning disabilities so he has researched the topic well.

  118. Tracey

Did I just hear correctly that Joe Hockey is appearing on this travesty next week, less than 24 hours before handing down the budget?

  119. JC

Anna B appears to be mentally not with it tonight

As qualified neurologist I detected some serious neurological disorder there. Did you see her eyes rolling around when she was talking? That’s the beginnings of early stage dementia, which in the Liar party is no big deal and in fact see as an attribute.

  120. JC

Anna B appears to be mentally not with it tonight

As qualified neurologist I detected some serious neurological disorder there. Did you see her eyes rolling around when she was talking? That’s the beginnings of early stage dementia, which in the Liar party is no big deal and in fact see as an attribute.
And the repetition was a dead give away. I counted at least 10 times she said she went to university at Monash.

  121. calli

Snowcone – Next week with a highly vetted audience …

Horse tranquillisers should do the trick.

  122. Andrew

I heard those chants so many times by those Socialists that I know them by-heart

“No cuts, no fees, no corporate university…come on, get off it, our university is not for profit”.

  123. Lady’s and Gentlemen, we have a new record on Interruption Lotto;
    112 Interruptions.
    I fucking kid you not.

um, with all due respect I think we’re kind of beyond interruption lotto for tonight’s episode.

  124. Gab

Stop pissing taxpayers money up the wall to fund the feral left ABC.

  125. JC

    Andrew

I’d bet most of those layabouts would be in the soft sciences, right?

  126. calli

Fleas looking for a dog, Andrew.

  127. Turtle of WA

What, are you gonna get Sky to run it?

  128. Turtle of WA

Snowcone – Next week with a highly vetted audience …

In fact, Tony, I thought you’d be pretty happy with how you vetted it this week.

  129. John Labaj

All panelists should be alcohol and drug tested. Anna would not have made it tonight.

  130. I am the Walrus, koo koo k'choo

Good call Steve at the Pub.

Pallavi is deep in the right-hand tail of the Pulchritude bell curve.

  131. In fact, Tony, I thought you’d be pretty happy with how you vetted it this week.

    leave off the conspiracy theories.

    he doesn’t stack the audience.

  132. egg_

Here is a picture posted up from the trots outside the Qanda

‘Talking truth to power’ on Aunty?
    Pfftt!

  133. Gab

    leave off the conspiracy theories.

    he doesn’t stack the audience.

But he knows it happens week after week after week and says/does nothing about it.

  134. Anne

    You’re right HzHousewife.

Thanks for that Andrew. I couldn’t understand what they were saying.

They should have picked one of those kids at random and thrown dillberry off the panel. At least they’d have had something to say.

  135. Anne

Here is a picture posted up from the trots outside the Qanda

Fleas looking for a dog, Andrew.

    Anna was inside Calli.

  136. Foggyfig

You do know you blew up the Cat for a short while, don’t you?

Checking cupboard for all the beverages I can find. (and fattening non-halal certified foods)

I can watch on ABC24 but chose not to tonight – thought I would see how it went here first.

  137. JC

But he knows it happens week after week after week and says/does nothing about it.

The ratio of leftwing to right wing questions in around 20 to 1 in the left’s favor. Notice how every fucking question this evening was…

    ” I want free stuff”.

The NG cargo culters had nothing on the Australian left.

  138. Lady’s and Gentlemen, we have a new record on Interruption Lotto;
    112 Interruptions.

???????? eh?? didja stop counting at the 4th question or something?

  139. Splatacrobat

    he doesn’t stack the audience.

How are you so sure? I bet his producer has a laugh with him when they send the invitaions out.

  140. Andrew

    Andrew

I’d bet most of those layabouts would be in the soft sciences, right?

Quite a few of them are in the 7th and 8th year of their Arts degrees. They will have to complete their degrees in the next two-three years in order to actually have a certifiable degree. All doing gender studies, sociology or politics majors.

Did I just hear correctly that Joe Hockey is appearing on this travesty next week, less than 24 hours before handing down the budget?

If so, it is yet another reason why he should be sacked and perhaps allowed to be in charge of drinks and canapes after Cabinet meetings.

Any of the serious players involved in putting together the Budget and working out the angles for the last week before it barely have time to have a shower and change their clothes. Wasting hours on being ferried to ABC studios, getting your makeup and hair done and being ritually slaughtered is not just dereliction of duty, it is vanity and stupidity of monumental proportions.

  142. All doing gender studies, sociology or politics majors.

All “contributors to society” according to Anna “I luuurve my arts degree” Burke.

  143. Gab

Quite a few of them are in the 7th and 8th year of their Arts degrees. They will have to complete their degrees in the next two-three years in order to actually have a certifiable degree. All doing gender studies, sociology or politics majors.

    All funded by taxpayers.

  144. Quite a few of them are in the 7th and 8th year of their Arts degrees.

No wonder they’re panicked at talk of HECS being enforced.

  145. hzhousewife

love the name of one of the female trots – Gaynor Martian

  146. egg_

All doing gender studies, sociology or politics majors.

    Future wait staff?

  147. JC

Of fucking course Tony Springer/ producer stacks the audience. How on earth then were the questions asked by the socialist bozos one after the other.

What Springer didn’t anticipate was that the lunatics would go berserk and embarrass him and the show. Otherwise the disgusting sack of turd knew eggsactly what was going on and who they were. It was a poorly executed attempt to entrap the Lib.

Close the fucking arseholes down and fire them all.

  148. How are you so sure? I bet his producer has a laugh with him when they send the invitaions out.

    He runs the on-air stuff.
his personal slant makes it more attractive for left-wingers to come along; there’s literally no need to stack the audience. The lefties love the show and play the game of saying they are conservative.

In terms of the audience poll, yes it’s bullshit and they no doubt know it’s bullshit, but if people lie about their politics when they turn up at the studio, there’s really nothing the qanda guys can do.

I’m not defending the show’s bias – that’s clear enough – but the audience stacking isn’t part of it. It’s just a grass-roots market response to the show’s on-air bias.

  149. Of fucking course Tony Springer/ producer stacks the audience. How on earth then were the questions asked by the socialist bozos one after the other.

Jones was clearly pissed off and stressed by what happened.
Think about it. This is his big moment of the week, when he gets to shine. Do you really think he’d want to be drowned out and have it taken over by a bunch of scruffy deadbeats? No.

  150. Anne

I’ve quit early start tomorrow, Pyne has shown himself to be extremely well prepared, totally comfortable with any questions and across the issues in his portfolio.
Anna Burke relied on personal anecdotes and emotive language.

Yes Nota, Rationality vs Feelings. Pretty much sums up the difference between the Right and the Left.

  151. JC

    Aussie pundit

The questions asked from the audience run at 20:1 leftwing drift. So in effect they are stacking the audience as the left knows they will get 95% of the focus. They don’t need to actively audience stack. They slime fucks do it by default.

  152. JC

Jones was clearly pissed off and stressed by what happened.
Think about it. This is his big moment of the week, when he gets to shine. Do you really think he’d want to be drowned out and have it taken over by a bunch of scruffy deadbeats? No.

He didn’t anticipate what those lunatics would do. However the question stack was contrived and Springer knew eggsactly what he was doing and where they were coming from. It just didn’t work out the way he hoped … to trap Pyne… because the loons were too unruly.

  153. The questions asked from the audience run at 20:1 leftwing drift. So in effect they are stacking the audience as the left knows they will get 95% of the focus. They don’t need to actively audience stack.

    I agree.
    I don’t think it’s 20- 1; maybe 5-1 realisically but it’s really lopsided.

Tonight was an exception. The show really did get hijacked.

  154. It just didn’t work out the way he hoped … to trap Pyne

    oh I see….

  155. JC

It’s nowhere near 5:1 it’s between 15 and 20:1. If a rightie gets through he gets booed or treat3ed with contempt so the reaction could be counted as a leftward drift.

I counted one question this even that could be considered 30% rightwing and that was the one asked about the need to discuss the proper size of government. Even that could have been asked by a leftwinger.

  156. egg_

He didn’t anticipate what those lunatics would do. However the question stack was contrived and Springer knew eggsactly what he was doing and where they were coming from. It just didn’t work out the way he hoped … to trap Pyne… because the loons were too unruly.

    Entirely plausible
Even on talkback radio the Producer screens the questioner before they get on air to avoid ranting nutters.

  157. I counted one question this even that could be considered 30% rightwing and that was the one asked about the Zneed to discuss the proper size of government. Even that could have been asked by a leftwinger.

Yeah tonight there was nothing. It’s a small percentage, let’s not quibble about the number!

  158. cohenite

Well, that’s one promise Abbott should break; not defunding the fucking abc.

  159. Splatacrobat

I can picture it now. A bunch of deadbeat yoof dresses like deadbeat uni students file past the doorman to the studio and all say with a serious look in their eyes when asked polititical pursausion LNP sir!

  160. WhaleHunt Fun

They’re a natural resource just begging to be harvested. The safer they feel, the louder they beg to be clearfelled, burned to ash and planted with genetically modified canola.

  161. James B

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

How fucking DUMB does one have to be to believe the figures the ABC puts forward about audience composition? 47% liberal voters? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

  162. Splatacrobat

Jones was clearly pissed off and stressed by what happened.

I think he was more worried that he might have to cut the token leftie crooner at the end. All that prick could do is sneer and mock then gets rewarded by Snowcone to sing a song in his faggy lounge routine from the 80′s.

  163. egg_

his faggy lounge routine from the 80′s.

The irony of a sad, aging 80s parody of a 60s routine.

  164. Notafan

Can’t sleep, I don’t think there was anything they could have thrown at Pyne that he wouldn’t have batted away, he had the dope on average hec debts, the features of the US system that were worth considering, the generous nature of Hecs and the high threshold before repayments were started, the very low unemployment rates and higher incomes of the university educated and the point that most of the taxpayers funding university education had not had that opportunity and earned on average 75% less. And I didn’t watch it all.
    Pyne minced them.

What are the rules on bias in regard to twitter use? He claims it’s fine because he’s not paid, but he still works for the ABC, and associates them with his crap

If I did that as an unpaid intern at my work it would be seen as damaging to the brand

  167. Oh come on

Did anyone see the tweet that said “If uni fees go up, I won’t finish degree (sic)”

Here is a fucking GREAT reason to increase uni fees.

  168. Oh come on

WA edition: we do have a two tier uni system, Madame Screecher (who is bitchily punching at Pyne below the belt). Some unis here are much better than others.

Why do they ask comedians on the show? For fuck’s sake. What a turd.

  169. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From JC at 11:17 pm:

    “Aussie pundit

The questions asked from the audience run at 20:1 leftwing drift. So in effect they are stacking the audience as the left knows they will get 95% of the focus. They don’t need to actively audience stack. They slime fucks do it by default.”

Of course the show is stacked, set up, every part planned for a preferred result – by Snowcone and everyone else involved in making it. The bloody thing is as contrived as a Perth horse race featuring a Laurie Connell owned nag.

  170. Derp

Here is a picture posted up from the trots outside the Qanda

Well thy were warned, never work with children or animals.

    Or both.

  171. Notafan

What an idiot, but it doesn’t look like he would ever have paid his hecs back so no loss to the taxpayer.
Now Mr Pyne how about more money for vocational training in your nice shiny teaching colleges while cutting funding for climate research and gender studies.
Hint you are welcome to cancel funding for Chris Turney at UNSW and the masters in climate change course At ANU. After tonight you might want to take a closer look at Macquarie too.

  172. JC

Why do they ask comedians on the show? For fuck’s sake. What a turd.

To stack the panel with more leftwingers from the entertainment field to help push the leftwing drift.

  173. Oh come on

He’s a joke. They may as well get Elmo on.

  174. harrys on the boat

I never watch but it appears like JC’s nickname of Springer for snowcone was spot on.

Saying that the fiasco that unfolded, if it happened to the real Springer, well, Jerry would have died of shame.

  175. johanna

The bloody thing is as contrived as a Perth horse race featuring a Laurie Connell owned nag.

Bit harsh on Connell and his nag, Mick.

  176. harrys on the boat

Also why is Bolt apologising to that disgrace Barry. Barrys follow up tweet served to highlight his blatant bias as he was extremely concerned the socialist pricks might have handed Abbott a few votes.

  177. Oh come on

Anna Burke is a nasty, spiteful bitch. She’s a fucking disgrace little better than that mob who feel they have a right to waste my time pushing their incoherent agenda.

  178. harrys on the boat

Nice summary of Burke, OCO. My personal fact checking unit rates it at 100% true.

  179. Oh come on

Allanah McTiernan’s the Member for Penrith!?

  180. harrys on the boat

Member for Penfolds would have been a more apt mistake.

  181. Fisky

Roskam, staunch individualist bordering on fascist

Where do they FIND these mouthbreathers??

  182. Oh come on

    True hehe

    COALITION 47%, ALP 38%, GREENS 9%

What a lie. Where where the people booing/heckling the protesters?

    Q&A is a busted flush – it’s proven.

  183. Fisky

Tony Jones asks idiot woman “Does that mean Labor is re-thinking the role of government?”

    Burke – “I don’t think we’ve got that far…”

She actually looked like she’d stuck her head in a clothes dryer before going on QANDA. Not a clue at all.

  184. Fisky

“I’m happy to call myself a socialist”

    *Shakes head*

  185. Andrew

Has anyone seen Numbers tonight? In fact, has anyone EVER seen him during Queers&Alarmists filming?

  186. Fisky

Oh my god the audience jumped the shark. Fucking lunatics.

  187. harrys on the boat

Andrew, FFS, don’t write that fuckers name, don’t say that fuckers name and don’t even think that fuckers name.

  188. Fisky

Who’s the fucking loser in the flannel shirt? This is embarrassing. Australia puts it’s smartest Left-wing intellectuals up every week on that show, and they are the worst fucking Left-wing intellectuals in the world. Just dismal.

  189. Fisky

Roskam – “We can’t fund the things that we want if we don’t create the wealth”

*Crickets from the 46% “Coalition” audience*

  190. Oh come on

This was a great Q&A. Fantastic ammo to use against the ABC.

  191. Foggyfig

I am gearing up to it. Decided to watch Footy Classified instead ;)

  192. Fisky

Wow. Lunatics in the audience screamed at Roskam because he called for private sector funding of science. Newsflash fuckwits. The overwhelming majority of innovations come from the private sector. Practically every fucking gadget you use is a private sector innovation.

    Fisk Doctrine NOW!

  193. johanna

    Nah, OCO.

Just goes to show how “edgy” and “relevant” they are.

    It’s a lose-lose situation.

  194. Fisky

Anna Burke – “I love my Arts degree…my Commerce degree I’m not so keen on”

I get it now. This was QANDA, Left-wing Parody Edition.

  195. Oh come on

If there’s ever an inquiry into bias into the ABC, this Q&A will likely feature.

  196. Fisky

The Fisk Doctrine Royal Commission to be called by Prime Minister Morrison in 2016 will have no shortage of material thanks to QANDA.

  197. Oh come on

Just read through the thread. Kudos to seer Gab who remarked a few minutes before the Leftist retard ruckus broke out:

There appears to be a group of them. I won’t be surprised if they stage a protest complete with banners

On reflection, that prophesy was just a little too accurate. Is Gab a Socialist Alliance agent, deep undercover at the Cat?

  198. Fisky

Much to my shame, I didn’t recognise anyone. I used to be the expert on Far Left splinter groups, but it looks like they’ve recruited a fresh batch of indoctrinated cranks.

  199. Fisky

Why did all those people openly reveal their Socialist Alternative membership??? The Far Left have really gone downhill since the 70s. Alinsky would have had them dressed up in suits and bowler hats, saying “As a staunch Liberal voter, I deplore Minister Pyne’s policies…”

  200. Fisky

The LaRouchites have got nothing on these people. Nothing.

  201. Foggyfig

Just watched a youtube clip of the dickheads, I am happy for Abbott to defund all universities – if they want education let them pay for it themselves.

NOT IN MY NAME! is what the left say. ;)

  202. Oh come on

Sorry Gab – your call on the audience stack is one made every week – not sure why everyone is thinking this is somehow a great catch given every week the audience cheers wildly for lefty green points and sits muted when a coalition person speaks.

Pete, you might want to watch the part of the show that was being commented on.

  203. Fisky

Sorry Gab – your call on the audience stack is one made every week – not sure why everyone is thinking this is somehow a great catch given every week the audience cheers wildly for lefty green points and sits muted when a coalition person speaks.

Gab predicted it play by play. She was probably behind the whole thing. I’m calling her out as a Trotskyist infiltrator!

  204. Oh come on

Much to my shame, I didn’t recognise anyone. I used to be the expert on Far Left splinter groups, but it looks like they’ve recruited a fresh batch of indoctrinated cranks.

The retards even unfurled their banner the wrong way around and had to clumsily right it. That would never have happened when you were calling the shots back in the day, Fisky.

  205. Fisky

Did Burke do three lines of speed before she went on the set???

  206. Fisky

The retards even unfurled their banner the wrong way around and had to clumsily right it. That would never have happened when you were calling the shots back in the day, Fisky.

I would have shot them all at once!

  207. Oh come on

Make the call, Fisky. I’m sure you still know a few people who don’t ponce around with shovels outside of front doors.

  208. Fisky

South Asian chick – “We’re reaching a society now where 45% of people experience mental health.”

That sounds very fucking ambitious for the Q&A audience!

  209. Fisky

Anna Berk – “We do not want a two-tiered system”

You fucking idiot. What the fuck do you think we have now with 8 passable universities and about 30 glorified TAFEs??????

  210. Oh come on

Madam Screecher is a grade-a cnut.

  211. Fisky

Berk – “A lot of people come out as social workers…they contribute so much to our society”

Clearly, the Left have taken a decision to emulate the Michael Foot catastrophe. They are throwing the election for some reason.

  212. Yobbo

In terms of the audience poll, yes it’s bullshit and they no doubt know it’s bullshit, but if people lie about their politics when they turn up at the studio, there’s really nothing the qanda guys can do.

Yeah, this. I think quite a few of those lefties are writing down that they are coalition voters. If for no other reason, it makes them more likely to get a ticket – since very few actual coalition supporters would want to be in the audience for this weekly circle-jerk.

  213. Yobbo

The most distressing thing about Tony Jones tonight is that he didn’t look at all angry with the protestors. He looked sad and disappointed because they were making the left look bad.

If it was a bunch of right-wing youths protesting about immigration or something they would have called the police SWAT team.

  214. Oh come on

And why does Jones think Q&A is some mighty democratic forum? What a joke.

  215. Fisky

Roskam was OK. Nothing special. He seems to be guilty about being on there expressing non-Leftist views. Pyne was much better.

  216. Rabz

Just heard on chiple jay news that a bunch of yoof “shut down” this wankfest. Only read the comments on this page so far.

  217. Huck

    Hey Rabz! Liverpool….Liverpool

  218. Blogstrop

Interesting to see aussiepundit take time out from blasting TA to defend Snowcone.
He doesn’t stack the audience? He has done a fine job of stacking the panel every week for years, why wouldn’t he stack the audience most weeks as well?

  219. cynical1

‘Back to the days where only the wealthy went to uni’

It should be “Back to the days when only the intelligent went to uni”.

Woe is me. I happen to be in her electorate. Trouble is, she is an excellent local member. Just a terrible Speaker, and part of a pardy which is ruining this country.

To adapt the old Menzies joke:

“Mr A, if you were God, I would still not want to represent you!”
“Ms Burke, if I were God, you wouldn’t be my representative!”

  222. CatAttack

The use of “entertainers” is a brilliant device for pushing more Left dogma because they essentially give them a free kick to air their views. If queried about bias you just say we didn’t know what their politics are.

  223. Gab

I’m calling her out as a Trotskyist infiltrator!

That’s the most disgusting insult ever hurled my way on this forum. Ever. I’m offended and hurt.

  224. pete m

ok didn’t follow whole thread – thought comment was on their usual audience stack figures. nice one then.

still, as Kates says, they took their sweet time organising a protest like this – perhaps waiting for Coalition govt.

heard from a lgbitq member that coalition is most hated party in aust. Most liked and most hated – lol.

ps the q is for “questioning”. since I’m questioning their choices, that makes me a member too!!

    Hi Alan Abbie Hoffman!

These kids are pathetic. They aren’t 20 yet and they are washed out has-beens.

    Gab has been offended.

    That is illegal.

    Call the police Gab!

  228. Gab

“No cuts, no fees, no corporate university…come on, get off it, our university is not for profit”.

What a pathetic chant and fancy unfurling that stupid d-grade banner the wrong way. If I was in charge of them they’d have a snappy chant – not something borrowed from the 1960s – a few aesthetically pleasing cheerleaders, a marching band and a professionally done banner and it would never be shown on national TV backwards. But then that really is symbolic of their thinking. Backwards.

  229. Tom

Two web addresses from this thread if you’re interested in bookmarking the activities of communist activists living high on the hog on the taxpayer dime:

The leader of the Melbourne Uni Trotskyists/major projects/events protest rentacrowd.

ABC news intern – a potty-mouthed activist whose views are so extreme he’s unemployable outside the ABC.

In other Cat news, Gab is a star with psychic powers and a dangerously detailed knowledge of leftard demonstration tactics. Just as well Fisky is keeping an eye on her.

  230. .

Gab – reminds me of the Australian Democrats last tilt where their ads involved those life size Koala suits.

    No wonder they imploded/extincted themselves.

  231. Tom

Best of all, thanks to this thread, I no longer have to sacrifice brain cells watching offensive garbage on the ABC, including iView, which I’m paying for.

    Rabz doctrine now!

  232. calli

I still have a mental picture of Gab under deep cover behind enemy lines…beret, trench…’I weeel say zis only once’. Good work folding the banner inside out. That was inspired. :)

As ever, ShakeMyHead.com has its finger on the mainstream pulse. Poll: do you think student protesters did the right thing by disrupting Q&A? Currently, “yes” 58%; “no” 42%.

  234. Anne

Tom, 8.10, I’m guessing that Hassan guy is unemployable as well.

He doesn’t look that young. I’m guessing late twenties.

    Is he a perpetual student?

Does he provide for himself in any way?

    Is he Muslim?
