  1. calli

She read it in the SMH…so it must be true.

  2. Arnost

“I read Sydney Morning Herald”. In one little sentence is a summary why this country is going down the toilet.

  3. Hoof hearted

The sepo has a tablecloth shirt and Lady Wentworth has just been to stain glass window class.

  4. Tom

Time is running out and Snowcone still hasn’t pulled off his Bernardi gotcha.

  5. Mr Rusty

Melty face: Base your climate change policy on empirical evidence not beliefs.

…from the people who have never released the computer codes of the models.

  6. Turtle of WA

Last ten years hottest on record. Yes. After 0.8 degrees warming in 150 years. Doesn’t mean it’s warming. It hasn’t for 17 years.

  7. incoherent rambler

If Bernardi stays on track he is going to eat em alive.

  8. custard

bernadi asked the crowd to clap if they were on his side and we got about 10% at best clapping.

Shows the mix of the audience

  9. Aha! I knew it! :) The word “Deniers” has been used.
    Aha.. hahahaaha….ahhahahah..ahhah…hahahahahah

  10. Big_Nambas

Wife watching the Voice, so I am limited to this blog. reckon I will do Q&A this way forever!

  11. bernadi asked the crowd to clap if they were on his side and we got about 10% at best clapping.

Don’t understand, 47% of the audience are Liberal voters.

  12. incoherent rambler

    Believers!

  13. custard

Lucy gets it all wrong on the holy grail

  14. Rich

‘I read the sydney morning herald’

    We know, love, we know

  15. Arnost

Hey clown! You’re a cosmologist… Right? So what gives you the right to “authoritatively” talk climate science. Kraus… Raus Raus Raus.

  16. Baldrick

No gay marriage question yet Steve … the closest is just a couple of ladyboys asking about gerbil worming.

  17. Tracey

Lawrence has a beak like Homer Simpson or a Duck

His head reminds me of a turtle. I want to scream “put it back in the shell!”

  18. Molly Molloy

Isn’t nice that Mr Crater’s Mom recycled her kitchen curtains into such a noice Big Girl’s Blouseshirt for him.

  19. CatAttack

I think they thought Bernadi was going to be numpkin. He handles himself much better than most would haven given him credit for.

  20. calli

Get rid of coal…it’s dirty, it kills people and destroys the ‘viroment.

    And…think of the children!

Is there any meme that has been left unturned?

  21. Turtle of WA

What good is coal in the ground?

  22. nilk

A direct action policy to stop emissions at the power station over in the US. I guess that means they’re going to shut down the stations and let the people freeze.

Krauss comes out at anti-coal with a vengeance. Nobody ever seems to talk about what will replace it.

  23. Infidel Tiger

Did this cnuts lab catch on fire while he was smoking bath salts? What a rude freak.

  24. Splatacrobat

The Labour woman has not said anything tonight except chipped in with a high pitched laugh when she agrees with cater man. Scott must be working hard to correct the bias balance by having this lightweight.

  25. Twat thinks the best thing we can do is ‘leave our coalm in the ground’.

    Fvkn retard.

  26. incoherent rambler

His head reminds me of a turtle.

No, he is just having sh1t

  27. Mr Rusty

Bernadi should have asked Krauss how much money he gets from the taxpayer to sprout CAGW?

  28. CatAttack

What is with Leftards and their embarrassment.

  29. Tracey

    Shit? Is that Gloria?

  30. Arnost

Bernardi has not made any missteps… Doing good. We need to send him an email or two giving him an attaboy or two!

  31. Tom

Yank: “coal is dirty, it kills people and it destroys the environment.” And he was just saying that “deniers” reject empirical evidence. FMD.

  32. Arnost

Actually Gloria asked a good question!

  33. calli

No, not Gloria…voice not husky enough.

    And craters has another slurp.

  34. Turtle of WA

His head reminds me of a turtle.

    Thanks mate.

  35. Shit? Is that Gloria?

    Nah she’s not talking porn

  36. nilk

The ALP handed the country over in a good state? Holy cow.

  37. Shelley

Oh good god, King reckons they handed the government over in good order…

  38. Arnost

Emily lister: GFC GFC and nothing was done because.

  39. incoherent rambler

    at “deniers” reject empirical evidence

Excuse me, empirical evidence is to be evaluated, not believed or denied!

  40. Splatacrobat

They wanted to invest with money on the never never

  41. Shelley

That voice is like nails down a blackboard (King)

  42. Tracey

    Thanks mate.

Christ. Some nights I just can’t say anything right :)

  43. custard

the ALP girl getting a flogging from Bernadi

  44. nilk

LOL Catherine King: You’re going personal, Cory. Let’s go the personal.

In response to something so innocuous I never noticed it.

Cory points out that they were so good they left a $320b debt. That was pretty good management. lol

  45. calli

For all this good financial management, you left 300bil bucks worth of debt. Zing!

  46. Nanuestalker

Good lord … 5mins of the shit and I can’t stand it anymore!

  47. Andrew

    Rowan Dean….star performance!!!!!

  48. incoherent rambler

Bernardi to the front bench, immediately.

  49. custard

    Dean great stuff mate

  50. Infidel Tiger

Bang – straight to the slats.

    Thank God for Rowan Dean.

  51. calli

    Interruptions have just gone nuclear.

  52. incoherent rambler

    7-e, you countin’?

  53. Turtle of WA

Gold. Rowan Dean is doing a better job than any of the Libs.

    Interruptions must be high.

  54. Splatacrobat

    Shit? Is that Gloria?

Yeah, this show will end with an entertaining musical number with Gloria playing a flute supplied by Springer.

  55. Rich

‘Being low in debt is a good place to be…’

You don’t need to quantify that any further, Lucy

  56. custard

Debt is a terrible thing you yank fuck wit

  57. egg_

The shorter Kraus – it’s simple physics: CO2 heats the atmosphere – but the models are incredibly complex… make a choice, dufus.

  58. Foggyfig

Bernardi and Dean on fire Shut the hell up, King

  59. nilk

Krauss thinks debt isn’t a bad thing. Of course, he also admits he’s not an economist.

  60. Baldrick

Bernardi to the front bench, immediately.

Bernardi Dean to the front bench, immediately.

  61. Arnost

This Kraus is such a caricature of himself.

  62. hzhousewife

Do we have a nice safe seat for Rowan Dean somewhere ?

  63. Turtle of WA

    Rat-boy’s economic policy is… spending.

  64. Shelley

They are running out of time for the gay marriage and asylum seeker questions…

  65. Rich

Snowcone didn’t like Gloria much, must be one of those greens voters

  66. custard

I got my education from the Kemlin

  67. Turtle of WA

Do we have a nice safe seat for Rowan Dean somewhere ?

    Here, here.

  68. Motelier

    And the question is

  69. incoherent rambler

I got my education the saem plcae as mi tpying sklils

  70. Shelley

It is free to the many moochers King

  71. Baldrick

This Labor bimbo can’t help with the head nods and head tilts.

  72. Rich

“Do we have a nice safe seat for Rowan Dean somewhere ?”

The voters of Greenway will happily take a serious Liberal candidate

  73. I got my education from CSU, Clive Hamiltons tenure, i’m so ashamed of my alma mater.

  74. Mr Rusty

Ex-Commie telling a Commie riddled program on a Commie riddled corporation that Communism always fails. Straight from the horses mouth.

  75. incoherent rambler

Do we have a nice safe seat for Rowan Dean somewhere ?

    Company for Morrison.

  76. nilk

Baldrick she’s from Ballarat. Nothing more need be said.

  77. egg_

    And craters has another slurp.

Wish master control would wind his mic down.

  78. Molly Molloy

I topped my school in coin tossing.

  79. Mr Rusty

Rowan Dean needs to be running media strategy for the Libs not running for Parliament.

  80. Motelier

The Emily’s lister is really a bad piece of work.

  81. nilk

Larry comes from a country with the worst medical system in the world? Venezuela? Britain?

  82. Ok troops Interruptions came in at 152 , i shit you not.

    No winners tonight

  83. Mr Rusty

Melty face: The U.S has the worst health system in the world.

Really? Is that why all the best and biggest advances come from there?

  84. custard

Dean by far and away a star performer tonight closely followed by Bernardi

  85. Baldrick

Rowan Dean needs to be running media strategy for the Libs not running for Parliament.

    +1 – I like it

  86. Andrew

    Great Qanda…one of the best

  87. Infidel Tiger

Ex-Commie telling a Commie riddled program on a Commie riddled corporation that Communism always fails. Straight from the horses mouth.

    ABC replies: “Stupid foreigner”.

  88. Arnost

Why doesn’t anyone point out the obvious in that the co-payment is there to discourage frivolous abuse of Medicare, Whilst i think the medical research fund is a fucking stupid idea, the co-payment will save money in that less people will abuse it

  89. Cold-Hands

ABC News 24 is still leading with Bolt vs Lord Wentworth.

  90. Tom

Oh no!!! Snowcone’s plan to have a Cory Bernardi fuckup create a week’s worth of anti-AbbottSatan headlines is in ruins! Never fear: ShakeMyHead.com has a crack team combing Bernardi’s every utterance to find a gotcha by breakfast time.

  91. Motelier

The representative from Emily’s list really got a lot in tonight.

I reckon that Carpe’s 152 would be tripled if you counted hers. She was nonstop tonight.

  92. Baldrick

A bit of respect tonight for Emma Alberici. Alice from the Brady a Bunch passed away today.

  93. incoherent rambler

Dean by far and away a star performer tonight closely followed by Bernardi

But Credlin insisted Tony keep Bernardi out of cabinet, must have been a different Bernardi.

  94. Infidel Tiger

Only watched the last half. Dean killed it.

That Labor hag (not Lucy) was seemingly aroused by her own voice.

The Seppo know it all was as pleasant as a kerosene enema

  95. egg_

Really? Is that why all the best and biggest advances come from there?

    Craters-the-clown beclowned himself many times.

  96. Arnost

Ex-Commie telling a Commie riddled program on a Commie riddled corporation that Communism always fails. Straight from the horses mouth.

    Absolutely. And with venom! +1

  97. Mr Rusty

    To sum up:

It’s all the fault of school chaplains who are stealing money from poor sick people, and poor scientists at SIROW (?) who can’t get jobs and Labor was da bestest Gubbermint evah cos they put 80 billion into healf and skoolz and saved the world from da Godzilla Financy Crysis.

  98. Mindfree

Melty Head was right – the US do have the worst health system in the world – its a thing called something Obamacare. It stops people from having the choice for their own health care and drives up the costs to put it out of reach of the many who cannot afford the expensive costs as a result of restricting competition. And the good news is that it has not even kicked in top gear as yet.

So Melty head was 100% correct

That is what he meant wasn’t it?

  99. egg_

    But Credlin insisted…

The Comical Ali of Oz politics.

  100. custard

<emBut Credlin insisted Tony keep Bernardi out of cabinet, must have been a different Bernardi.

He was different tonight. No gotcha moments…..

Sadly he is already damaged goods

  101. Arnost

Thank you Mr Rusty. Well said. This.

  102. Mindfree

    forgot the \sarc off tag

  103. Crossie

Ross Cameron and Graham Richardson. Both are very good.

Yes, very good. I prefer PM Live to the Snow job at Channel 2. I resolve to refer to them as such, no more “their” ABC.

  104. incoherent rambler

Sadly he is already damaged goods

You mean, sadly he was thrown to the wolves.

  105. Arnost

I think that Credlin is well past her use by date. Stale, Stockholm Syndroned. Mr Abbott…can you please call Mr Dean and have a “meaningful” chat?

  106. incoherent rambler

Mr Abbott…can you please call Mr Dean and have a “meaningful” chat?

Nah, TA is too busy trying to find the family jewels.

  107. egg_

Lateline – da climate change is upon us!eleventy!!!

Some crap doco coming up about forest fires, too (clean out da undergrowth, dufuses).

  108. Mindfree

Abbot hopefully should have watched tonight and instructed Credlin to watch it too in how the left can be out flanked by controlled aggression. Sadly instead she will probably put a ban on any liberal minister talking to Rowan Dean and advise another repudiation of Bernardi by the Party elders

  109. custard

Great thread for this show. thanks for the chance to participate.

    Big day….off to bed

  110. incoherent rambler

Mindfree, instead we have oxygen thieves like Turnbull and Andrews in the ministry.

  111. Peter from SA

Cred to Bernardi. am still 30 mins behind. but I was skeptical however seems he did OK.

  112. Mr Rusty

Lateline – da climate change is upon us!eleventy!!!

There was also the crap at the end of QnA about The Black Messiah and his new climate policies and how we need to follow in the footsteps of Barry Hussein the Almighty whose very presence holds the Universe together, like….um, dark* matter.

    * Not a racist comment.

  113. Crossie

Bernardi and Dean on fire Shut the hell up, King

I caught just the last ten minutes and they were the best ten minutes I’ve ever seen on Channel 2. Which means that next week it will be wall to wall luvvies.

  114. Well, after those comments, am definitely going to watch when it comes on over here. Long time since I enjoyed an episode.

  115. Mindfree

Mindfree, instead we have oxygen thieves like Turnbull and Andrews in the ministry.

IR – and don’t forget that stupid bint Stone

Big job ahead for these guys

  116. Crossie

I think that Credlin is well past her use by date. Stale, Stockholm Syndroned. Mr Abbott…can you please call Mr Dean and have a “meaningful” chat?

If the recent debacles are due to her advice then she would be better in Malcolm Turnbull’s camp.

  117. Gab

I only managed 10 minutes but I gather Lucy Turnbull is as much a conservative as her husband.

  118. Arnost

If the recent debacles are due to her advice then she would be better in Malcolm Turnbull’s camp.

Don’t give her any ideas! She knows that she wields the power – and I reckon she revells in it. But it is ooohhh so tenuous. If she suspects that she’s about to get the bum’s rush…. Do you think she’ll jump ship to Turncoat’s side? Power corrupts absolutely after all.

  119. JC

    Gab

Should we see 25 for XON this week?

  120. I’m going to have to catch it on ABC24, or online or something. Work intervened.

  121. Gab

If things remain as they are now I reckon 22.5 by Friday.

  122. Tom

I think Rowan Dead actually shocked the Greenfilth ABC audience. Here was someone with credibility and a sense of humour who’s not a politician telling them the Liars left Australia with a major problem, which the ABC government has told them is an invention by the AbbottSatan Regime. The stupor has been tilted and the bong water will taste different tonight for the poor ignoranti.

  123. Gab

Sorry, things as in no major news for them.

  124. Gab

You’re considering selling them aren’t you, JC?

  125. Crossie

    Power corrupts absolutely after all.

And there was I thinking that people go into politics out of civic duty.

  126. JC

    Oh Shee, rong fred.

What gives you that idea, Gab? I’m thinking of selling half. Actually half I bought were a trade for when the shorts got out like elephants simultaneously trying to sneak out of key hole. The other half I’ll keep forever.

And there was I thinking that people go into politics out of civic duty.

    Only absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  128. Oh come on

Rowan Dean – thought he was a bit of a lightweight. I was wrong. Good man.

  129. Tintarella di Luna

I’ve known women like that Catherine King. God she is bloody annoying loud mouth bint.

She has Arts degrees, Bachelor and Master —- that is Bullshit Arts. The most annoying buck-toothed bint the parliament — she’s the epitome of a fembot — a short nastier version of the Slovenian hag — they just have different sized moulds (works with both definitions)

In defence of hat man from Kolling. His opening point was that Aus taxes had paid for his PhD and it seemed a waste as he would have to go overseas to continue working. His manner was unfortunate, as I think he was extremely nervous, and the hat didn’t help.

Do the Cats think there is a place for govt funding (partial) for these research institutes? Confession: I have been involved for a few years in raising money so certain projects at Kolling can continue.

Do the Cats think there is a place for govt funding (partial) for these research institutes? Confession: I have been involved for a few years in raising money so certain projects at Kolling can continue.

There were three problems with his argument.
The main thing is that he wants to go not into “research” but into the Australian public research system, which is mostly the universities. We are a small country, so this is a small industry, has always been so. It’s always been the case that many of our PhDs take off overseas.

Second, funding phds should be an end in their own right. We can’t then fund entire careers just because we funded people to do phds.

Also, a phd is an asset regardless of whether he wants to engage in his personally preferred research in his personally preferred type of institution.

  132. calli

Thanks for your thoughts, Aussie. I can’t argue with any of that, except that he may want to continue at Kolling but there’s no funding. Just like you and me, he has to go where the work is. It just seems a pity that we hold on to our PhDs in interpretive dance here in the B Ark whilst the useful ones go o/s.

I thought Indie had a good point (brain drain) but was likely being used as a gotcha by Aunty – this is the second time they’ve had a Physics PhD at ‘front of stage’ and just so happened to have Physicist Krauss on the panel.

  134. calli

I knows it egg_. I’ll find out from my pal if he’s a useful idiot or the real deal.

  135. egg_

Lucy Turnbull was relatively quiet and measured in her responses – she may have been on Q&A ‘In her Own Right’, but I’m sure she’d like to see her husband as the N’th PM of Oz.

  136. Dr.Sir Fred Lenin

I Salute the brave Cats who watch q and a each week, you are Heroes and Legends, facing the green/soshalist disinformation commisariats best.”You’re a better man(and woman) thanI am Gunga Din”
Must be nice when snowcone and his comrades take the annual “well earned break”each year, these pricks are too pretentious to take a holiday like the workers who pat the huge wages they get.

  137. Joe Goodacre

    Dean and Bernardi did well.

Dean nailed it. Turnbull should move over to Labor so the alternative to Liberals in this country actually have some financial acumen. Currently we’re stuck with Liberals or the kids that smash the piggy bank to buy lollies. Pretty much everything that popped out of the Labor ladies mouth was divorced from reality that money doesn’t grow on trees.
