Nah…he says he votes Liberal…I need new glasses.

  2. nilk

With the strong budget that we had to have, it’s still hitting the poor and unfortunates hardest. Vaccinations might go down.

Considering the majority of them are free, I don’t know how that would be, but I’m only a parent how made sure my pup got all her shots, and the meningococcal and pneumococcal weren’t free then (so she went without), and she didn’t have her chicken pox shot. She self-immunised by catching that particular disease.

All criticisms aside, SnowCone has to interrupt the GP speaking about this and ask him if he’s a Lib voter.

  3. nilk

    There’s a surprise.

Al Husic bleats on about how the budget is all about stopping people from seeing doctors.

    People voted for this muppet?

  4. MsDolittle

Oooooh bit more than a golf clap for JA

  5. Rich

Oh Jesus, everybody going to the doctor is a victim who’ll delay urgent attention for the sake of $7

Meanwhile I go into a doctors surgery and all I see is toddlers being vaccinated, bored old people, people getting sick notes and my colleague who went twice today for his allergies

  6. Aristogeiton

    What a foul-mouthed slattern.

  7. Talleyrand

No Ed the budget is about cleaning up you clusterfuck of spending. Guess what party spent it.

  8. calli

And the last word from the panel is “sh*t”.

    Thanks for that, Dee.

  9. nilk

Next week has Eva Cox. Hide your razor blades.

  10. Rich

Easy, show bogans on Facebook spending their welfare on foxtel, hairdressers and movie nights

It’s the only reason I’m even on there

  11. Snoopy

Dee Madigan is all class but stupid at the same time. Shit is eminently suitable for rolling in glitter.

  12. Anne

What’s with Josh ‘Rogaine Failure’ Frydenberg tonight?

  13. calli

I was ever so close, Carpe. You sure three of those wasn’t mouth froth?

  14. Peter from SA

gotta been close to a prize Carpe?

F*** me Latham on next week. Are there not contemporary people in public life?

  15. custard

I just need those numbers then off to the land of nod for an early flight tomorrow

  16. Splatacrobat

Snowcone gets to end the show on a leftie high by giving Madigan a free kick calling the budget shit.
Gadzooks that arsehole makes my blood boil.

  17. Turtle of WA

    Good work Carpe.

Do you keep the results archived?

  18. Talleyrand

No interruptions of dear Dee though.
If we are asking doctors their voting habits. The panel should oblige first.

  19. Arnost

Ooooh… Dee Dee Dee. Not happy eh? Did Tony Wony ignore you tonight and not ask for the pearls of wisdom swining in your mind…?

  20. Beertruk

Beertruk: South Korea turned out OK even if they are still at war.

It would have been better if MacArthur was allowed to beat the North into submission then maybe North Korea would not exist today.

  21. Motelier

    Carpe you are teasing me.

If I win I will add a nice shiny glass encrusted tiara to the chaps

  22. C.L.

Only watched a few seconds. Tony Jones was straining and struggling to STOP Jim from reporting that the Muslim-infected “human rights” committee of the UN has passed more resolutions against the Jews than all the other nations of the world combined.

Boy oh boy. He REALLY wanted to stop that from being said.

  23. JC

Boy oh boy. He REALLY wanted to stop that from being said.

He deserves a short sharp uppercut to the chin.

  24. calli

A…tiara…huh? A jewel encrusted codpiece would be much nattier. Lol, autocorrect made that “nastier”. :)

  25. C.L.

Oh yeah. I also saw that insane old coot say that Saddam’s Iraq was “harmonious.”

He obviously escaped from a secure facility and the authorities should be alerted.

  26. I am the Walrus, koo koo k'choo

    Bugger, out by 100%.

    I’ll have to recalibrate.

Turtle, I am keeping an excel spreadsheet with results. Will give some stat analysis when I have a long enough time series.

  27. I am the Walrus, koo koo k'choo

    O – and ta, Carpe.

  28. JC

James finished him off. What an disgusting old bastard. He obviously wasn’t there living under Saddam.

  29. Peter from SA

It would have been better if MacArthur was allowed to beat the North into submission then maybe North Korea would not exist today.

Very good point … history is full of questions. How to weigh up the serious suffering in the DPRNK for several decades now?

  30. Perfidious Albino

I’d chalk up the Malayan Emergency and the border war with the indo’s as a win for the West, technically we won ‘The Cold War’, but seem to be pissing that away now…

  31. Rich

F*** me Latham on next week. Are there not contemporary people in public life?

According to q and a very few people exist in Australian public life – I have a study from 2012 that showed that out of 680 panellists there had only been 345 guests

2 years on, it would be interesting to see how much that had risen by

  32. Peter from SA

Yes the fact that Thailand never fell as a domino …. the list is probably endless …

  33. Motelier

    Calli

A…tiara…huh? A jewel encrusted codpiece would be much nattier. Lol, autocorrect made that “nastier”. :)

I was just thinking of the ladies in here.

I am sure some of the kittehs have princess ambitions……hehehehehehehehe

  34. Peter from SA

And here comes the aboriginal thing. “The people of the Australian First Nations would consider that their country being occupied by caucasian Australians.”

Well, I wish the Indigenous Industry would quit with the “welcome to country” ceremonies:
If we invaded (victoriously), we must have been un-welcome.
If we have been welcomed to country, then it can’t have been an invasion.

Either way, we are here, so we don’t need to be welcomed any more, OK?

  36. cynical1

And here comes the aboriginal thing. “The people of the Australian First Nations would consider that their country being occupied by caucasian Australians.”

Good job it wasn’t ISIS coming ashore…

  37. Oh come on

    Two wars the West won:

    Soviet invasion of Afghanistan
    Iran-Iraq War

  38. Oh come on

Wow this Fiji chick’s got some crazy smarts. “We should use diplomacy” – she makes Kissinger look like a dummy.

  39. Oh come on

How can you “jump the gun” by merely “refusing to rule out sending in troops”? No action has been taken.

  40. Tonight’s episode in one sentence: (just catching up now on i-view)

James Allen + a bunch of shallow dunderheads. (It showed on his face too, “crikey, how did I get stuck here with these morons?)

  41. Fisky

I’m not the first to point this out, but boy was Interruptus Maximus furiously angry about James Allan mentioning the UN’s obsession with Israel!

  42. Yair, he tried to close down James Allen on that, before James Allen even got to speak. There was too much spontaneous clapping for James Allen’s Israel comments. (Whoever vetted the studio audience will be on the carpet for this.)
    Snowcone was becoming quite anxious.

  43. sabrina

I could only watch the recording as I was travelling.
Those who never lived in a war zone or not directly affected by war discussing the virtues of war – funny to say the least.
That law professor knows the art of obfuscating.

  44. duncanm

    Sabrina,

    WTF are you on about?

Are you saying, for example, that WWII was not virtuous ?

  45. Cold-Hands

Oh yeah. I also saw that insane old coot say that Saddam’s Iraq was “harmonious.”

Turns out that this loony was a former One Nations candidate.

On the ABC’s Q&A this week, for instance, former One Nation candidate Bob Vinnicombe declared, “all the factions of Islam and the Christians lived together in a relative harmony” under Saddam, while Labor advertising guru Dee Madigan agreed “at least the country was functioning”.

In fact, Saddam did not keep the lid on anything. He not only started two devastating wars — with Iran and Kuwait — that resulted in some one million dead, but ordered genocidal campaigns and reprisals against Iraqi Kurds and Shi’ites that killed 200,000 more at the very least.

Another 200,000 people are believed to have died in Saddam’s gulag.

This was not “relative harmony” or a “functioning” society. And this was not stability.

    H/t Bolt.
