Totally contrived opportunistic sensationalism

That’s global warming we’re talking about. The people who peddle these kinds of scams take no responsibility for the immense harm they cause. I just went by the Trades Hall Council building and there was a sign outside advertising “Solidarity with Venezuela – Chavez Photo Exhibition”. Do they know Venezuela post-Chavez is a wreck? Of course they do, but they seem as callous and indifferent so far as other people’s lives are concerned as they wander off to the next problem their solutions will only make worse. As the video points out, if we actually got rid of carbon-based fuels, there would not be a tree left on earth as they were all pulled down to provide heat and fuel.

And in case it isn’t clear from the above, this is a brief take from a convention of climate sceptics so enter at will.

When I saw the headline I was expecting someone to be linking the latest Ebola outbreak to climate change.

They seem to be well wrapped up, for people complaining about Global Warming/Climate Change. One takes it that they walked, and rode bikes to that conference? Surely they did not fly? That would be hypocrisy.

It’s Blair’s Law coming to pass, that all the idiocies in the world will coalesce (or snowball, for all you lefty trolls) into one giant idiocy.

But rich people are impoverished, and that’s important.

Snowball idiocy? Is that like peak stupid?

I do love reminding CAGW fruitloops (although I suspect in many cases it is a revelation) what coal actually is and that if they love trees so much then surely it is better to use the old dead ones rather than the new live ones.
It really gets up their nose when you ask them “Why do you hate old trees so much?”

Well, according to the ABS (2009 figures), the most unionised industry group in Australia is Education and Training, with 41.6 per cent of employees union members, a fair indication that ‘workers’ in that sector are the most ‘progressive’ .

Academics and schoolteachers have plenty of spare time.

An article on page 2 of todays Melbourne “Herald/Sun” says hundreds of patrons at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, witnessed former Tasmanian A.L.P. Premier, Paul Lennon being handcuffed and evicted from the premises and handed over to Police custody after creating a disturbance in the gaming room.

Lennon insists he was drinking only water.

How many glasses of “water” does it take to get an A.L.P. former State Premier cuffed and evicted from licensed gaming premises?
