ASADA yesterday said it was “improperly obtained evidence” and “trial by ambush”.
No – that’s not ASADA confessing to their improper, unlawful conduct over the past year. That’s ASADA complaining that one of their investigators was recorded while making a presentation to the Essendon players.
What have they got to hide? After all they should welcome the opportunity to demonstrate their bona fides and entirely professional handing of this whole messy saga.
In any event, my understanding is that it is not improper to record the police going about their business, so why should it be improper to record an ASADA investigator (who probably has greater powers than any policeman)?
