So it is clear, there are over 5,000,000 PERMANENT Palestinians receiving around $650M in 2010 where as the other 5,400,000 global refugees spread across makeshift camps across primarily Asia and Africa receive $2.2B in help.

it is likely that the truth will never be known.

Yes, and fear the result for MH370.

If saudi/wahabi money is funding the exponential wave of mosque building for the settlement communities in australia, and these communities support the labor party–doesn’t it neccessarily follow that saudi money will play it’s part in supplying the country with the coming shorten puppet government?.

[get-up doesn't have to declare donations, does it?--have i missed the vocal activists of get-up protesting the headhunters?]

Your summary re The complaint of religious vilification made against two pastors, Daniel Scot and Danny Nalliah and Danny’s ministry Catch The Fire Ministries (CTFM) by the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) and three complainants, under Victoria’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act (which came into effect in January 2002) has attracted worldwide attention and concern.
    correct BUT

The case returned to VCAT in early 2007. At a ‘Directions’ hearing it was decided that a further attempt be made at ‘mediation’ prior to going to a new hearing.

The case was finally resolved at mediation on 22 June 2007. The resolution states that all parties acknowledge the right to robustly debate religion.

  5. Grigory M

Self praise is no recommendation, hoppers ;)

  6. Token

I linked to the Ukrainian Security Service website. Since when was that a conspiracy website?

Thanks for finding some good sources. This is a war where there is endless disinformation. From the same Daily Mail article is this:

A rebel leader in Donetsk has claimed the city is surrounded by Ukrainian forces and that his troops are willing to accept a ceasefire.

But observers warned that it may be a tactical move laying the groundwork for Russian intervention.

I will continue to be skeptical to all news which is not verified.

    Snoopy,
Just listened to the Podcast of Tom Elliott (from 51:44). He got an email suggesting 10% for Expenses and up to 40% Share of Profits. He intends to check that claim out.

The problem being, hoppers, that access to the crash site was not permitted for days after the airliner was brought down. In the case of the photojourno cited by the site given by Rudiau, it was twelve days later- plenty of time to shoot up the wreckage to “incriminate” Ukrainian fighter planes. With such limited access to the crash site and unfettered access by militiamen and looters, it is likely that the truth will never be known.

    +1

    The waters are very muddy.

The case was finally resolved at mediation on 22 June 2007. The resolution states that all parties acknowledge the right to robustly debate religion.

Here the process was the punishment. Costs still had to be met and huge amounts of time and angst expended. You would think that “truth” would be an adequate defence but it doesn’t matter if the complainant was “offended”. It’s why 18c and similar curbs on free speech must be repealed.

  15. Token

P29 of that UN report. Sending kids to be the anchor really is a growth industry for the Coyotes:

Provisional data indicate that the number of unaccompanied or separated children seeking asylum on an individual basis is on the rise. More than 25,300 individual asylum applications were lodged by UASC
in 77 countries in 2013, far more than in previous years.

…The number of UASC seeking asylum increased compared to 2012 (21,300 claims in 72 countries), 2011
    (17,700 claims in 69 countries), an 2010 (15,600 claims in 69 countries).

Weird how the majority submitting such requests are in the developed world, eh?

I was pretty much the first person here other than Token to back the Ukraine to the hilt.

I may have took a gamble by doing so, but that is where the evidence lay at the time.

I’m not naive or gullible enough to get my news from RT or follow a authoritarian swine like Putin blindly, just because of the sins of the EU.

Oddball site the UK Daily Telegraph reports on the mobilisation of Nazism …

Ukraine crisis: the neo-Nazi brigade fighting pro-Russian separatists.

As Ukraine’s armed forces tighten the noose around pro-Russian separatists in the east of the country, the western-backed government in Kiev is throwing militia groups – some openly neo-Nazi – into the front of the battle…

But Kiev’s use of volunteer paramilitaries to stamp out the Russian-backed Donetsk and Luhansk “people’s republics”, proclaimed in eastern Ukraine in March, should send a shiver down Europe’s spine. Recently formed battalions such as Donbas, Dnipro and Azov, with several thousand men under their command, are officially under the control of the interior ministry but their financing is murky, their training inadequate and their ideology often alarming.

The Azov men use the neo-Nazi Wolfsangel (Wolf’s Hook) symbol on their banner and members of the battalion are openly white supremacists, or anti-Semites…

“Personally, I’m a Nazi,” said “Phantom”, a 23-year-old former lawyer at the ceremony wearing camouflage and holding a Kalashnikov…

Asked about his Nazi sympathies, he said: “After the First World World War, Germany was a total mess and Hitler rebuilt it: he built houses and roads, put in telephone lines, and created jobs. - Why was MH-17 uniquely in the worst case route scenario, given SAMs were in use in the area?
    - Conflicting reports of the type of shrapnel damage to the fuselage

The Security Service of Ukraine has its own barrow to push in support of the current Government of the Ukraine. If the shooting down of MH17, whether by accident or design, had not happened then it seems more than likely that all of the Ukraine east of the Dnieper River would now be under separatist control and aligned with Russia. That would be tantamount to annexure of the East Ukraine by Russia, and is something that may still occur, if Putin decides that it is in Russia’s interests.

    Please Gab. I implore you.

“People complaining about my gravatar? Right. I’ll fix your little red wagons then!”

Aaaaarghhh! Now look what you’ve made her do Perpetual Motion.

  98. Token

Seems like a deal is coming:

SENATOR Jacqui Lambie has spoken fondly of Joe Hockey, describing him as an “open” and “honest” negotiator, ahead of budget talks with Clive Palmer this evening.

The Treasurer will meet the Palmer United Party leader tonight amid further declarations from Mr Palmer that he will block key long-term budget savings measures.

  99. Aristogeiton

Hey, Lizzie, check your Gravatar account name to make sure you aren’t sharing too much info.

  100. .

YES C.L., WHENEVER SOMEONE MAKES A COUNTER-POINT, WHY NOT BE OBNOXIOUS, IGNORE WHAT THEIR ARGUMENT IS AND JUST FUCKING REPOST WHAT YOU TYPED 10 MINUTES AGO UNTIL YOU DROWN OUT ANY DEBATE.

    AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!

    THAT’S THE SPIRIT!!!

  101. hoppers

Hi Ari, long time since you and I have been online together, how’s things?

  102. .

    Gab

Don’t ever change. Let that remind us of Roxon’s fascist tendencies, and her fat, health dictating lardarse.

  103. Anne

    Bring back Bibi!

    Bring back Bibi!!

    Bring back Bibi!!!

  104. Armadillo

People complaining about my gravatar? Right. I’ll fix your little red wagons then!

Good Lord. That’s barbaric. Is this some sort of propaganda ploy to make ISIS look good?

  105. Aristogeiton

Is everyone drunk tonight, because it sure seems that way?

  106. Leo G

Why was MH-17 uniquely in the worst case route scenario, given SAMs were in use in the area?

MH-17 was one of a series of aircraft flying the airway on a route intersecting with TAMAK waypoint (at the changeover from Ukrainian to Russian airspace). There was another aircraft 25 km on either side of MH-17 flying toward the waypoint when it was downed.
The bigger question is why the Buk was set up to target aircraft so close to the waypoint. Why would any party in the conflict want to target aircraft flying into Russia, directly on a commercial air way, and at the altitude nominated for commercial aircraft?
How can anyone sensibly argue that the launcher was accidentally located to target aircraft flying over the waypoint?

  107. Armadillo

Is everyone drunk tonight, because it sure seems that way?

It’s well after mid morning. Of course they are.

  108. Token

That’s barbaric. Is this some sort of propaganda ploy to make ISIS look good?

I heard John Kerry note today that the photo of Elomar’s son is less disturbing than Gabs latest Avatar.

  109. Perpetual Motion

Aaaaarghhh! Now look what you’ve made her do Perpetual Motion.

I’m sorry. I had no idea she was so vicious.

Please Gab, I prostrate myself at your feet. Make it go away!

  110. Anne

Elizabeth (Lizzie) B at 9:56 pm

Gab, can you please do something about that hair? And that expression? Ugh.

It reminds me of Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory sans the intellect and sweet disposition, obviously.

  111. Splatacrobat

SENATOR Jacqui Lambie has spoken fondly of Joe Hockey, describing him as an “open” and “honest” negotiator, ahead of budget talks with Clive Palmer this evening.

Is open and honest code for well hung these days? The lengths Joe has to go to, to sell his budget.

  112. Grigory M

How can anyone sensibly argue that the launcher was accidentally located to target aircraft flying over the waypoint?

Dunno – but the downing of MH17 certainly changed things in East Ukraine. Putin and Russia were suddenly (and still are) on the back foot, and the Ukraine forces have been able to mount a strong offensive against the separatists. It was a game-changer. Are there dots to be joined here? (No offence, Dot).

  113. Mk50 of Brisbane, Henchman to the VRWC

    Dear God….

Dots running down the bolding reserve (do you know how much that costs?), Gab is using some hideously ugly, disgustingly primitive proto-human hominid as a gravatar instead of the marvellous Bibi, and everyone’s roaring about the Ukraine.

I told you to stick with Sumerian mead, dammit. Not that cheap Akkadian stuff.

hell with it. I have an early start on a trip to the boonies.

    I am offski.

Going over old ground, but the others were not only 25km East/West but similarly to the North.
Many unanswered questions, which I assume like MH-370, will remain so.

SENATOR Jacqui Lambie has spoken fondly of Joe Hockey

Watch out, Joe. You know what she’s after!

“Seems like a deal is coming:

Didn’t I see or hear something on the TV News that someone important – secretary or manager – has walked out on the Palmer Misfits Party, claiming the Clive Waddler was a dictatorial, despotic bully, given to nepotism and appointing friends to big jobs?

I wonder if Our Jacqui has Ainsley Gotto’d the fat lard yet?

  118. Mick Gold Coast QLD

Lord Gabrielle she is an unfortunate looking woman!

  119. egg_

She spoke similarly of Penny Wong, prior.

Dot isn’t manic. He has been copping a ribbing all day on different subjects and from different quarters and he’s a man who takes his beliefs very seriously. He is a good guy.

Interesting analysis of what happens to host societies as the ebola virus of islam increases as a % of the population, for instance:

Islam’s Effect On Society At 40%-60%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, non-stop church destruction, Boko Haram, etc., such as in:

    Albania — Muslim 38.8%-85%
    Bosnia — Muslim 40%
    Chad — Muslim 53.1%
    Guinea Bissau — Muslim 50%
    Ivory Coast — Muslim 40%
    Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%
    Nigeria – Muslim 50%

No doubt freedom of speech is fairly thriving in such circumstances.

  122. Anne

Eliza, Rudiau informed me recently that Islam is a “Theo-Political Construct.
So I’m going with that lately. I also like IT’s descriptor, “Death Cult”.

  123. Gab

So, I guess we’re all cool now with this gravatar, hmmm?

  124. Mick Gold Coast QLD

Very much coolerer, and I speak for all right thinking contributors.

  125. cohenite

I like it; although Ayaan Hirsi would be good too

  126. Armadillo

So, I guess we’re all cool now with this gravatar, hmmm?

    Gab the Merciful.

  127. MsDolittle

Anne, I like eschatology scatolology and Deadman’s “end of days”.

Not after the pretty maids of yore, sorry.

    Yep. You betcha.

    Oh yeah…

    We’re good Gab.

    No complaints over here.

    Can I get a drink?

  130. Perpetual Motion

    Yeah, I like it.

    It suits you.

Do you think you could Photoshop earrings onto it?

It’s not a deal-breaker but it would be nice.

  131. egg_

    Just for you then, egg.

I’m sure others will enjoy, too. ;)

Daily Mirror Page 3 girl makes a welcome return!

    Yep. She sure does.

  134. hoppers

Gab, pink balls please, that’s what i signed up to with #spindoctorsareus

  135. hoppers

BTW the page 3 girl was The Sun, the Mirror was page 5, not that I’d read such rags.

  136. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From hoppers at 10:51 pm:

“BTW the page 3 girl was The Sun, the Mirror was page 5, not that I’d read such rags.”

Used buy mine every afternoon at George and Barrack Streets corner, from the charismatic old fella who was a master at charming the little office girls – “Sun-or-thuh-Mirraaaa!”

The order of batting was back page sports, every word printed (read it twice if it featured the Rabbitohs), Page 3 then the comics. I don’t recall any difficulty in finding the Page 5 girl too.

  137. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

Thanks, Aristo. But nah. That little Beare got away some time ago; Gravatar’s been like that for yonks.
Past history, and probably not a give-away. Stage surname I used to pole dance under, a long time ago in a land far, far away. ;)

  138. Aristogeiton

    Cool Lizzie, just in case.

  139. C.L.

Detail buried low in this lengthy piece on Robin Williams:

This year he has six movies either out or due for release and had also been working on the TV series The Crazy Ones – but it was axed after one season.

He admitted he returned to TV after nearly three decades because two divorces have left him short of cash.

The comic’s breakups cost him £20million and he claims to need a ‘steady job’. He was also selling his £20million California ranch due to his sizeable alimony payments.

The 62-year-old, said: ‘Divorce is expensive. I used to joke they were going to call it “all the money”, but they changed it to “alimony”.

‘It’s ripping your heart out through your wallet.’

How did those two ex-wives earn $40,000,000?

  140. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

Glad to see the partial Solitaire board back, Gab. Although best of all I really did like the 40′s glam one of our Internet Queen in that stunning red dress. T’would give Tinta a run for that Arctic fox.

The ladies here do well with their Gravatar changes. For mine, I stick to Fay, because she too knows the love of a True Hairy Ape. She too has many moods, as apes aren’t always easy, shedding hair and shambling about the place, although they are easy to feed and quite capable foragers if neglected.

I have also resolved not to look at any more of the ISIS atrocity links; I need my sleep. Seen enough.

  141. C.L.

Elizabeth, I think you made reference to my having posted such a link.

But no, I don’t post atrocity links.

Perhaps the Instapundit round-up I posted had some such links, not sure.

Anyway, folks should be careful about posting a warning and there should be good cause too.

  142. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

    Cool Lizzie, just in case.

Agree you can’t be too careful with the internet, especially for women.
Anonymity is important for many reasons.

  143. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

But no, I don’t post atrocity links.

CL, it was just my internet curiosity and prowling from the neutral link you provided to others nearby (as I scrolled down I think, but not too sure), including the video of the group massacre of many bound men into a ditch. Any link is always an entrée to a number of others.

I think it was Dover who posted a link to the shower shooting abomination (although maybe not) and his outrage was palpable. Helen had a few similar types of links, with of course her discussion on why we should make people face up to these atrocities by using the pictures (which I initially said should not be shown). The Australian took Helen’s view by showing that young child holding a severed head.

Anyway, however received, I’ve had enough of these disturbing images for a while.
I can’t imagine what it is like for those poor children forced to undergo total indoctrination by ISIS.

  144. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

OMG look at the time again. I never seem to get to bed till gone midnight.
I’ll have bags under my eyes next. Da Hairy Ape slopes off around eleven usually.

  145. C.L.

Anyway, however received, I’ve had enough of these disturbing images for a while.

    Yeah, I don’t blame you.
