  1. It’s official – klive just jumped the shark while knitting a kangaroo

  2. Shelley

Now Chinese Mongrels are going to take over the country. Wonder if ABC will report on this diplomatic blunder?

  3. Menai Pete

Clive just wrote the headline for tomorrow’s papers.

  4. duncanm

Wong knows he’s guilty-as, lots of raised eyebrows.

Ha ha – “chinese are communist people-shooting bastards” – right, but Clive’ll still do a deal with them if there’s a bag of cash and a stack of French porn involved.

  5. Rich

What a loser Truss is. Mumble, mumble, mumble. Has he even had mortgage? What point is he trying to make about debt!

    Ever had credit card debt?

Mortgages are secured lending – what asset are we leveraging?

  6. Turtle of WA

Much as it pains me to say it, Snowcone did well there.

  7. DJA

    Clive in full bullshit mode

  8. Shelley

That woke me up. Was worth the first boring 50 minutes to see Clive light up.

  9. Leigh Lowe

Has Clive got Penny Wong and Wendy Deng confused?
“They all look same to me”

  10. Turtle of WA

Clive is whispering to Wong and she’s ignoring him.

  11. From Carpe Jugulum at 10:30 pm:

“… and tooheys is the 2nd best toilet cleaner after XXXX”

You’re right – tooheys gets your toilet cleaner

  12. PeterF

God,I hope button survived that rant from Clive.

  13. Mike of Marion

Clive wont butt in so readily now

  14. Menai Pete

Was worth the first boring 50 minutes to see Clive light up

The best couple of minutes on Q&A for a long, long time

  15. Peter from SA

Much as it pains me to say it, Snowcone did well there.

Disagree. Went easy on him when should have exploded.

  16. custard

    Truss……… the lefties favourite righty.

  17. Top Ender

That was fun. I thought Clive might walk off for a moment. Has that ever been done before on this show?

Chinese lady in the audience and the Wongbot looked a bit grim on the old heritage angle being criticised. Meanwhile Clive has just put fire into the bellies of the inscrutable ones back in Beijing.

  18. Slayer of Memes

Clive is whispering to Wong and she’s ignoring him.

“Hope I wasn’t out of line with the crack about ‘Chinese bastards’….”

  19. 1234

Truss – usual empty words and a total disconnect from his aspirations and actual policies.

  20. After krazy klives tanty could someone 18c his fullsome arse

  21. Mike of Marion

SVdP – ‘beautiful ‘ question – what an absolute wanker

  22. 1234

Rich – sovereign – seems to be AAA.

  23. Top Ender

Clive apparently is a big boy in terms of swearing. Article today in the press confirms same from the bloke who has just resigned from being his COS.

Thought he might have gone into major four-letter territory. Maybe he did. This program is recorded with a 10 minute delay.

  24. Rich

Can someone tell me if Ridout has ever had a job?

All I can find is went to university, head of lobbying group, board member blah blah blah

  25. Shelley

Yeah Snowcone gave him a free pass in the end – he shoulda kept going.

  26. Turtle of WA

Who is this namedropping fool, and who does he think he’s impressing?

  27. Slayer of Memes
Clive is whispering to Wong and she’s ignoring him.

“Hope I wasn’t out of line with the crack about ‘Chinese bastards’….”

That reminds me, how is Penny’s little one doing these days?

  28. duncanm

After listening to that Falzon character, I will never be giving my business to Vinnies again

  29. Interruptions for the evening came in at 63 (damn i got close for a change)

  30. Cold-Hands

Falzon calling for the revolution- he doesn’t even bother trying to hide his marxist sympathies.

  31. Pecker

Carpe …thank you for your monitoring tonight …well done

  32. Leigh Lowe

Can someone tell me if Ridout has ever had a job?

All I can find is went to university, head of lobbying group, board member blah blah blah

Political staffer, followed by 25 years in AiG, the straight to the RBA board as reward for selling out her constituency in industry.
So, no …. never worked in a real job.
    Clueless inverted elderly fright-bat.

  33. Top Ender

Would be interesting seeing if Clive and Snowcone are still buddies after this.

  34. Menai Pete

Falzon calling for the revolution- he doesn’t even bother trying to hide his marxist sympathies

But he still believes in the virgin birth …

  35. mmxx

Falzon falls on SVdP’s credibility from tonight’s ranting performance.

  36. Rich

Rich – sovereign – seems to be AAA.

So we’re buying Australia as an investment property?

Personally I wouldn’t use my solid credit rating to borrow to indulge my cocaine habit, but horses for courses and all that

  37. sabrina

    Chinese bastards and mongrels………..wow!
Not that I agree with many in the panel, but they were all passionate about their belief.
Now let us all join Team Australia.

  38. PeterF

I know I have harped on this all nite, but an honorable mention must go to that little Aussie battler,Clive’s suit button.

  39. Top Ender

Flazon is every reason why charities need a bloody close examination before one gives them a buck. Be interesting to see how many are employed in useless positions with them such as diversity director, climate change manager, and equity advisor.

  40. Leigh Lowe

Personally I wouldn’t use my solid credit rating to borrow to indulge my cocaine habit, but horses for courses and all that

    Perfect analogy to describe 2007-2013.

  41. Slayer of Memes

    Sayonara Carpe-san

    Yoku nemuru

  42. JC

After listening to that Falzon character, I will never be giving my business to Vinnies again

Oh shit that loon was from St Vinnies. I caught the end of it. I had them come out and empty out a farm house. They literally took everything for nothing and then I see that stark raving Marxist loon. If I could double back I would burn everything.

Only saw the last few minutes as I watched Ray Donavon. I’m slowly weaning myself off this rat-arse leftwing crap.

  43. JC

Flazon is every reason why charities need a bloody close examination before one gives them a buck. Be interesting to see how many are employed in useless positions with them such as diversity director, climate change manager, and equity advisor.

    Now you tell me.

  44. PeterF

Good nite, all. At least this was slightly entertaining.

  45. Top Ender

See you next week 1234. I guess you’ll be coming back as 10-3 after your defeat tonight.

    Thanks Carpe!

  46. Leigh Lowe

I know I have harped on this all nite, but an honorable mention must go to that little Aussie battler,Clive’s suit button.

It has to be painted on.

  47. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From duncanm at 10:33 pm:

“Clive’s gone off the rails – “Chinese bastards!” “

Now THAT is the most excellent news!

Even as I type a coolie is running the Q&A transcript into the Forbidden City (or wherever they run the joint from) to inform Premier Li what has just been said about him by the Fat Fool.

Minters or Freehills or Clutz will find new instructions from Peking on their photostat machine at first light “Escalate!”

  48. cohenite

Ray Donovan; pity the libs don’t have a few Ray’s in their ranks. Instead they’ve got pus for brains; dickless bastards.

  49. JC

Ray Donovan; pity the libs don’t have a few Ray’s in their ranks. Instead they’ve got pus for brains; dickless bastards.

Ray’s got a few problems with the head of the FBI he needs to sort out.

  50. Infidel Tiger

    I caught the last question…

Firstly, Heather Ridout looks like a dehydrated elephant’s snatch and is as useful as one.

Secondly, I’m heading out to lay a snapper in a St Vinnies’s bin. That tosser was an elephant’s snatch.

  51. Leigh Lowe

“Clive’s gone off the rails – “Chinese bastards!” “

It’s a great surprise to me to hear that Clive was ever on the rails.

  52. 1234

Charities need a close examination? I though this site supported buyer beware and good old Tones is getting rid of the charities commission. Tough luck JC, serves you right, you should have looked more closely at their activities. Gee, a failure of the market system – who would’ve thought. I gave up on the salvos years ago when it supported Howard’ s drug war.

  53. JC

    Jane Caro @JaneCaro · 52m

#qanda The smugness of the fortunate is quite revolting. I am looking at you Warren Truss.

    jc

@JaneCaro The smugness of a frightbat is quite revolting. I am looking at you Janey and don’t like it one bit.

  54. Anonandon

I volunteer for Vinnie’s and that wanker definitely does not speak for me and many others.

  55. JC

I volunteer for Vinnie’s and that wanker definitely does not speak for me and many others.

    He certainly did this evening.

  56. JC

Just look and Janey Caro go in Twitter. She goes full retard when Q&A’s on. There are countless tweets sent to that stupid show.

    https://twitter.com/JaneCaro

Lefties seem to take Q&A seriously which is more of a reason for more steep funding cuts. It would send them spazzo closing down this ridiculous program. Totally spazzo.

  57. JC

Gee, a failure of the market system – who would’ve thought.

Perfect market exist only in text books, fuckface.

  58. Infidel Tiger

There’s absolutely no need for charity in a country with a welfare system like ours and a tax rate of 49%.

    Charities can go fuck themselves.

  59. Anonandon

And another thing, doesn’t that idiot realise that he just disenfranchised a huge chunk of the people who finance that organisation?

  60. JC

There’s absolutely no need for charity in a country with a welfare system like ours and a tax rate of 49%.

    Charities can go fuck themselves.

True, which is why I send donations overseas taking care of people in real poverty.

  61. JC

And another thing, doesn’t that idiot realise that he just disenfranchised a huge chunk of the people who finance that organisation?

Well advocate to get the fucker sacked. I have another house to clean out in the not too distant future. This stuff is going straight to the tip.

  62. Infidel Tiger

True, which is why I send donations overseas taking care of people in real poverty.

    Fuck that too.

I support the TAB and the IPA.

  63. I am the Walrus, Koo Koo K'choo

I’m sure Penny Wong is quite all right about Clive’s swearing at the Chinese.

She never raised a protest when Prime Minister Rudd called them Ratfuckers.

  64. JC

    Naaaa

Those christian and devil worshiping Iraqis need help. If you hunt around you can find really decent charities. Last year I gave some money to some Catholic charity that only focuses on overseas where there’s absolute poverty, not the make believe relative poverty crap we see here.

  65. 1234

Well JC the assumption on this site is that the market can exist in purity and be transparent all by itself. LOL Sinclair Davidson saying yesterday to get rid of RDA because people will not trade with firms that discriminate on the basis of race. And now we see that someone regrets their work with Vinnies! Why? Because there is information is uneven. It shows what a naive utopian world exists here. Now piss off fucknkuckle.

  66. JC

There should be two things you focus on when giving away treasure, IT. Israel (now) and for people how are dirt fucking poor out of no fault of their own…… (muzzo free too).

  67. Snoopy

The charities commission was designed by Tim Costello and other Big Charity hoovers such as Red Cross CEO Robert Tickner to strangle the competition. Looting scum the lot of them.

  68. 1234

Perfect market exists at Catallaxy (not)!

  69. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From Snoopy at 11:14 pm:

“The charities commission was designed by Tim Costello and other Big Charity hoovers such as Red Cross CEO Robert Tickner to strangle the competition. Looting scum the lot of them.”

    Yes.

  70. There’s absolutely no need for charity in a country with a welfare system like ours and a tax rate of 49%.

    Charities can go fuck themselves.

There’s no need for welfare in a country with a charity system like ours, and then we wouldn’t need a tax rate of 49%.

  71. JC

Well JC the assumption on this site is that the market can exist in purity and be transparent all by itself.

To a large extent that’s true.

And now we see that someone regrets their work with Vinnies!

Not hugely, It still goes to help less well off and I had no real need for it and saved me lighting a fire.

Why? Because there is information is uneven.

What information is that fuckface… that a perfect market would allow me to predict that a nutball would show up on a tv program and start preaching leftwing crapola? Don’t make me laugh.

It shows what a naive utopian world exists here.

You’re fucking idiot, mini numbers. Get the fuck out of here.

  72. JC

Perfect market exists at Catallaxy (not)!

Perfect markets and prefect competition only exists in textbooks , fuckface. I already told you that. You haven’t invented the wheel. Now, as I said, fuck off and stop clogging up the site with you spite filled deranged stupidity.

  73. Infidel Tiger

There’s no need for welfare in a country with a charity system like ours, and then we wouldn’t need a tax rate of 49%.

Well of course that is the preferred option, but it’s about as likely as hover cars and a decent episode of Q&A.

  74. Well of course that is the preferred option, but it’s about as likely as hover cars and a decent episode of Q&A.

True, this side of total collapse.

  75. gabrianga

Thought Clive’s ‘Classic” was praise of “Chosen One’s” U.S.A. budget until he announced HIS “Global Warming ” feat at Coolum. Wonder if Gore will front.?

ps SVDP’s top paid guy speaks with forked tongue. Perhaps an ICAC for charities?

  76. mareeS

“which is why I send donations overseas” ???

Bugger that, JC. I keep the spouse’s money and mine close and well-tended, like my garden. The offspring also entrust theirs to my tender care.

Others can look after themselves. A bit of work and saving and sensible application will do it. Otherwise, they can just take their chances. Our money is our money. Harsh, but that’s the way I see it.

  77. Oh come on

    Ridout…what a twat.

  78. Oh come on

So Clive’s formative experiences resulted from dole bludging for 4 months?

  79. Oh come on

When Palmer’s thrown out of parliament, he’s going to go to the US and become a Democrat.

  80. Oh come on

Yikes Clive’s flown too close to the sun.

  81. Oh come on

    Clive is unbalanced.

  82. Bill Thompson

What you may not see on the news tonight… I went over to the Melbourne Commonwealth Offices to see if I could chat with Scott Morrison about his kids in detention announcement this morning. I didn’t see him but did get a chance to catch up with Sarah Hanson-Young. All the media were there – see if this clip gets aired…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kP07fke18Lk

  83. JC

What did the dishonest lard ares say, bill. I couldn’t hear her response.
    Summarise it for us.

  84. I am the Walrus, Koo Koo K'choo

She squibbed it Bill – from what I could hear, the audio wasn’t clear.

But good on you for asking.

I expect the ALPBC to declare a ‘fatwa’ on your journalism any day now.

  85. ProEng

JC are you sending money to the likes of Nigerian scammers.? That is where all overseas “charity” money goes. The UN, NGOs & Green groups are full of scammers and naive do-gooders who hand over money to the scammers. Australia should pull out of the UN then we would all be better off.

  86. Bill Thompson

I’m hoping that some of the media outlets broadcast it – there were mics & cameras all over the place. Essentially, she said it wasn’t Jon Howard who solved the problems – it was Petro Georgio!

  87. JC

    Pro

No I’m not. When I say overseas charities I mean the money is spent in shitholes around the world. I know better than to send money to the local chiefs son in law charity in Ebola. There are good ones here, the US and UK. The proviso is that they have to originate in a place which is first world and English speaking. There are also trusted websites that rate these entities. I know what I’m doing and thanks for you I’ll considered advice.

  88. JC

What did the dishonest lard ares say, bill. I couldn’t hear her response.
    Summarise it for us.

In bet the detestable landwhale had the sound turned down or some scumbag media supporter turned it down for her. They can’t be trusted about anything and reverse probability applies the human trash. Don’t ever attribute anything to a coincidence with the human trash. Ever!

  89. David

Well done Bill. Something Hopelessly-Wrong looked decidedly uncomfortable.
