A Lynch Mob at Sydney University

What a disturbing story we find at the University of Sydney the other day. I am even more than normally conscious of how disgusting it was, having this afternoon gone along to the Jewish street festival in which a couple of roads were blocked off and where we wandered around in the afternoon sun. But, as always, I was conscious of the Jewish primary school which sits just around the corner from the Holocaust Centre, both of which I pass every day on the way to the station. I had never been in the Holocaust Centre but went in to have a look. Let me just leave it at this. The children in the school are no different in any way from the murdered children whose pictures can be seen on the walls of the Holocaust Centre. We are playing with fire in allowing any of this to continue.

At the centre of the disturbance at the University of Sydney was the presentation by Colonel Richard Kemp, who had been in charge of security operations in Afghanistan and Northern Ireland, who looked down with utter disdain at these pathetic nonentities. As he wrote in his letter to the President of the University of Sydney which was released today, “although the students attempted to intimidate me as well as the audience members, I did not feel personally threatened, as I have faced considerably greater dangers and threats than could possibly be presented or contemplated by such people”. The protestors knew, of course, there was absolutely no danger to themselves in anything they did, total cowards that they are. Here’s what I think of as the central point of the letter written by Colonel Kemp:

Peaceful and reasonable demonstration, such as handing out leaflets, chanting dissenting views or holding placards with messages of opposition to the views of a speaker, is of course acceptable. Indeed, such a peaceful demonstration was under way outside when I entered the room for my lecture. I was offered and accepted a leaflet, which I read and I briefly engaged in discussion with a protester. However the type of racially?motivated aggression, intimidation and abuse that occurred at this event is wholly unacceptable. Also unacceptable in any respectable university is the curtailment of an invited and approved speaker’s freedom to speak and engage in legitimate academic discourse such as I experienced at your university.

I urge you to investigate this incident and to take action against the students and staff members who were responsible for the behavior that I have described. If you fail to do so then you will be failing to discourage such action in your university in the future. You will thus be failing in your duty to ensure that your students, visitors and guest speakers may take part in debate within the precincts of the University of Sydney without fear or concern for their own safety.

I would add that you have a particular responsibility in respect of the racist, anti?Semitic nature of this protest. As you know anti?Semitism is a rising phenomenon in the world. Jews in many places live in increasing fear and concern that they will be singled out and discriminated against. Only by taking firm action against anti?Semitic abuse and hatred whenever and wherever it occurs can this situation be reversed. Sydney University has the opportunity here to set an example to other academic institutions that lack the moral courage to face up to the modern scourge of anti?Semitism.

Why do you think Jews are your friends?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Semite. But Jews literally created communism, and have pushed far-left movements including anti-racism, feminism, and socialism for a long time. There are a few Jews in right of centre politics, but not very many.

Why do you think they are your friend any more than any other group (like, say, Muslims)?

  2. Rafe

Gibson T you comment is obscene.

You have totally missed the point.

It has nothing to do with Jews being our friends or political allies. It is about the cancer of anti-Semitism, in the university of all places, which once upon a time one would have expected to be the last place to find it.

  3. Gibson T

Leftist university students are stupid, and hypocritical. This isn’t news. But the fight against antisemitism is not our fight. I don’t understand why so many conservatives do not seem to understand this. Australian Jews, especially after WW2, have been consistently agitating for far-left political policies. They agitated for open borders, for the racial discrimination act, for aboriginal land rights, for more socialism and more feminism.

Antisemitism is wrong. No arguments there. But what does it have to do with conservatism?

  4. cohenite

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Semite.

    Who is this fuckwit.

  5. Rafe

First they came for the Jews, but that is not our fight so I looked the other way. (But I am not an anti-Semite).

As a freedom of speech issue we should be outraged when any speaker is silenced by thugs on the campus.

We should all write to the Vice Chancellor.

  6. wanglese

When someone startts with “I’m not an ati-semite” then follows up with the idiocy they post, you can be sure your reading something that tries to justify industrialized mass murder.

  7. whyisitso

Gibson T is hammy with a different sign-in. There’s nothing else that can explain this sheer stupidity.

  8. Gibson T

Hmm, perhaps you’re right Rafe. Just don’t do what Andrew Bolt did and expect because you’ve been obediently pro-Jewish for your whole career, they will support you in your moment of need (in his case, his advocacy abolishing the RDA, and the Jewish push back on the issue).

I do think you have a point, though.

  9. Leo G

It is about the cancer of anti-Semitism, in the university of all places, which once upon a time one would have expected to be the last place to find it.

    SU needs a radical Lynchectomy.

  10. Jeremy

At the centre of the disturbance at the University of Sydney is the failure of the management to dismiss those involved from further participation in the university. The chair of the Academic Board is Associate Professor Peter McCallum, the chief executive officer is Marc Vogts, the Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor is Professor Stephen Garton, The Minister of Education is the Honorable Adrian Piccoli. All these people have failed to act in the past against similar provocations.

  11. Jeremy has put the finger on the heart of the cancer.

  12. Talleyrand

Yep that John Monash was such a commie bastard, showing up and doing stuff in WW1, and setting up the SEC. All the while carefully undermining conservatives everywhere.
Of course there was my old Physics lecturer who made a life in Australia after surviving Poland as a Jewish kid, when he used his language skills to help the free Polish guerillas. I could tell of his time hunting down Nazi war criminal scum and killing them in Vienna; but I guess he must have been a double agent what with your assumed advocating for socialism in Australia in the 1950s.

If you don’t think fighting anti-semitism is our battle then you don’t understand one of the fundamental principles of Western civilization. Do you really think that we would be better off with fewer Jews? Cuz that is what always ends up happening with anti-semitism.
The camps/lagers/internal exiles all start with Jews being told their fundamental human rights are not the concern of the rest of us.

  13. Talleyrand

Damn HTML editor, I refer in my comment above, to Gibson T’s post:

Why do you think Jews are your friends?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Semite. But Jews literally created communism, and have pushed far-left movements including anti-racism, feminism, and socialism for a long time. There are a few Jews in right of centre politics, but not very many.

Why do you think they are your friend any more than any other group (like, say, Muslims)?

  14. Gibson T

Do you really think that we would be better off with fewer Jews?

Not really. Although it’s important to note that in 1921 the US with the Immigration Restriction Act was instituted primarily to deal with Jewish immigration from Eastern European countries. They found that the Jews they were getting were politically radical, and agitating for radical leftist change in society, including Marxism.

Some of my favourite philosophers are Jews: Murray Rothbard, for one. But it is important to realise that the majority of Jews in Western countries have done, are doing and will continue to agitate for far left policies. Not all.

  15. Percy

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Semite

I’m glad you cleared that up.

  16. Thank you Gibson T, for providing a perspective few of us would otherwise have considered.
You’ve given us all something to think about. I’m sure there is a lesson for us all in what you’ve contributed thus far.

  17. MikeS

Almost forty years ago a similar stunt shut down a visit to Sydney Uni by the psychologist Hans Eysenck. Back then it was the issue of race and IQ which provided young socialists and poseur staff with the opportunity to safely demonstrate their virtue.

In the scheme of things, antisemitism is a much bigger issue but the principles are the same. Wankers gotta wank. The Uni won’t care unless and until some large benefactor hints that an endowment or two is in jeopardy.

  18. Leo G

The thread has unravelled. Was that the intention?
I’m not an anti-anti-Semite. But anti-Semites literally created the idea that all Jews fit one stereotype.
An anti-anti-Semite might question whether anti-Semites are his friend.

  19. Hydra

As long as the left continue to use propaganda as their means of communication, and that propaganda includes financial handouts and other mass-appealing but society-destroying policies, conservatives will never win.

    This will become more commonplace.

    And not just against Jews.

There is a huge anti-Catholic movement in Australia, as well as an anti-corporations movement, and anti-markets movement. It’s growing weekly, and it’s sucking in regular people through simpler slogans than “stop the boats”.

Such slogans include but are not limited to “ABBOTT SUCKS” and “TREASURER FOR SALE” and “FOREIGN COMPANIES BUY YOUR ELECTRICITY WIRES = BAD”.

  20. Gibson T

Conservatism has ‘being right’ on its side, though. Leftists have the utopian promises and the shallow appeals to emotion, but conservatism has the truth.

It is true that young Australians are increasingly left-wing though. I’m a young Australian myself and I don’t really understand why they are. I can only despair.

  21. Hydra

It is true that young Australians are increasingly left-wing though. I’m a young Australian myself and I don’t really understand why they are. I can only despair.

I ran the Liberal club on campus for a couple years as recently as 2013. It’s not a large university and it’s in a red-zone. We had a few dozen followers, but the universal condemnation was ridiculous.

We had a few members run for the student union; and the incumbent’s entire campaign was not based on policies (like ours) but on the fact that our ticket had “Liberals and Christians” on it.

  22. Hydra

I should add – not one person outed themselves as a Christian, nor was one person a member of the actual Liberal party. Just the ALSF.

  23. Toiling Mass

Slowly but surely, “protest” has come to mean “disrupt” and “damage”, “withdraw labour” has come to mean “prevent others from working”, and “free speech” to mean “prevent other people speaking by shouting them down”.

  24. Ant

These days it is difficult to see how the cold blooded slaughter of 6 million Jews in the 1940s could even be contemplated in a modern ‘civilised’ society – until one sees the events at Sydney University.

The Nazis didn’t start off by taking Jews off he streets and sticking them straight into the gas chambers.

They had to marginalise, humiliate and de-humanise them first.

Missing from these scum protesters were the brown shirts and jackboots.

  25. Leo G

It is true that young Australians are increasingly left-wing though. I’m a young Australian myself and I don’t really understand why they are. I can only despair.

So many of the young want others to think they are the pioneers and innovators of their time. And how do they advertise this? They mostly become blind followers. It has ever been so.

  26. Peewhit

Gibson T is correct. As a general rule Jews tend to vote for the left. They are like turkeys voting for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Name for me the liberal party Jewish representatives. I know there are Jews in the labour party representatives. Then the left demonstrate against them. I personally don’t care what you are, black, white, brindle, Muslim, christian, buddhist, hindu, I only respect competence. It is not competence to support those who are not on your side.

  27. Old School Conservative

Sydney University will do nothing about this outrage. One of their own (Lynch) was a pre-arranged stooge in the audience, and was violently aggressive towards a 75 year old woman. Great sense of honour and courage there, professor.
“Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies” indeed.

  28. Peewhit

Hydra, big business and big government are in bed together, and god save us from the progeny.

  29. wreckage

Anti-Semetism is the first and surest sign of a deeply dysfunctional personality.

  30. Old School Conservative

It is not competence to support those who are not on your side.
You are blind to what is being done to those “not on your side”. Those same demonstrations, aggressive postures, intimidation and abuse will next be turned on you.

  31. notafan

How can anyone possibly know the politics of all Jewish people? On the level that no Jews were killed in 9/11.
Tokay again iI walked past a synagogue bring guarded by soldiers.
The Nazis were keen on the stereotype of Jew equals communist.

And even if they were I still wouldn’t support anti semitism or stand aside aside to allow others to attack Jews or selectively support freedom of speech.
Universities as tolatarian regimes, who would have thought it.

  32. Art Vandelay

You are blind to what is being done to those “not on your side”. Those same demonstrations, aggressive postures, intimidation and abuse will next be turned on you.

Exactly. Are you a conservative? A sceptic when it comes to man-made global warming. Do you favour loosening gun restrictions? Do you believe in free speech? Do you think coal should be used to generate power?

They’ll be after you once they’ve finished with the Jews. The only difference between the Jews and us will be that we be locked up in different parts of the same concentration camp if these totalitarians win the day.

  33. Ubique

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and the only country in the entire region where a government can change without involving violence. It is of zero relevance that Jews might tend to vote for left wing parties. Anti-semitism is abhorrent. Attacks on Israel and Jews are attacks on freedom and liberty everywhere.

Lynch should be sacked for any number of reasons including bringing SU into disrepute.

  34. notafan

Hmm Josh Frydenberg is a Jewish LNP parliamentarian.

  35. Mark from Melbourne

It matters not a jot on what side of the political spectrum “most Jews” (or “most anythings”) may vote. They must have the right to do so and to have their right to speak protected absolutely.

As an aside, these things are frightening to be involved in, especially in a smallish lecture theatre. Back in the day, I got smacked over the head a couple of times by a LaTrobe Maoist’s placard (inc tomato stake) defending – of all things – the right of the Soviet ambassador to speak at Melbourne Uni. Right next to me was Michael Danby… a Jew, and a good bloke, for all that his politics weren’t and aren’t mine.

You don’t get to pick whose freedom of speech you protect.

  36. A Lurker

Rubbish clean-up required on this thread please.

  37. Tel

Why do you think Jews are your friends?

Australian citizens have a right to be free from intimidation regardless of whether they are my friends or not, anyway you can’t make friends with a religion, you can only make friends with individual people.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Semite. But Jews literally created communism, and have pushed far-left movements including anti-racism, feminism, and socialism for a long time.

Every single Jew got into one big huddle and came up with Communism?

  38. candy

I don’t believe for a moment this Lynch person was holding up money as a sign he would sue.

That’s just utterly ridiculous. It’s obvious to all what he was implying.

  39. Andrew

You’ve convinced me, Gibson. In 1921 the US was correct to ban Joooooos for their leftist views.

Henceforth I will align with the likes of Peter al-Whish ibn Wilson in siding with ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah and every other mass murderer of Israelis. After all, some Joooos support leftist views.

Still, we shouldn’t stop at Jooooos. Many yoonyuns also do all the things you identified. The people who are inclined to fire rockets into the ACTU conference should also be encouraged. Yoonyuns aren’t my friends either.

  40. Why do you think Jews are your friends?

Why do you think their religion matters?

    Dickhead.

They have new uniforms these days, that include items like, ‘Look At Me! Look At Me! Look At Me!’ Scarves.

  42. Andrew

Quite so, Candy. He invades a lecture, accuses the speaker of being involved in genocide and he thinks HE’S going to sue??

  43. Andrew

Any predictions what the VC does?

  44. Percy

The problem is it’s always the Jews coming for the rest of us. Genocidalists, control freaks, intra-species predators, and mass murderers

The chin strap on your armadillo helmet could probably do with an extra hole. It seems a little tight.

  45. Carpe Jugulum

Woah, it’s going to take weapons grade plutonium to clean up some of the bilge on this thread.

  46. rebel with cause

How someone might vote at the ballot box is completely irrelevant here. A society that only respects the rights and liberties of those deemed to vote ‘correctly’ is no society I want to be a part of.

Gibson T – I urge you to rethink your position.

  47. calli

A visitation? It’s been a couple of weeks.

  48. Tel

Hydra, big business and big government are in bed together, and god save us from the progeny.

Yeah, along with big unions which are just corporations given special privilege. So we have some people cheering “Yay the government!” while another bunch shout “Yay the corporations!” and yet another “Go the unions!” but you get the same managerialist bureaucracy running the show and they all give the nod to one another.

  49. Entropy

I think so, Calli. It can’t be Hammy, for all his faults is s luvvable troll. This is something less pleasant.

  50. Bruce of Newcastle

My old uni has turned into a suppurating pit of intolerance, anti-semitism and lefty totalitarianism.

This is a perfect example why government support should be completely abolished. If the students were paying for their education, or their parents were, they’d be learning not acting like ferals. And guys like Lynch would be out the door so fast that flying pages of the Communist Manifesto would flutter in his wake.

  51. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

Clean up needed here. It’s not Bird, but clearly there are others here just as vile in their historically accusatory and abusively ‘loaded’ usage of the term ‘Jew’. The politics of some, and certainly not all, Jewish people are quite beside the point. The issue is one of freedom of speech.

Someone will raise the issue of Muslims here. Similarly, not all Muslim people are the same in their politics and in the practice of their religion. They too have a right to freedom of speech; in our democracy at least. I look forward to hearing from apostates as well as enthusiasts for the religion.

Proviso for all: no-one has a right to threaten to do real harm others, to physically intimidate others, and/or incite violence based on ethnicity or race or for any other reason, nor to incite terrorism in any form and for any reason, nor to prevent others from lawfully speaking. Our laws should reflect that robust political discussions are the life’s blood of democracy, and that threats and violence are the enemies of democratic freedom.

  52. Alexis

Name for me the liberal party Jewish representatives

Uh google them you idiot, they have been there for decades.
I’d like to see the military honours the doofuses above have won. My family have been in uniform, fighting communists in Europe since the time of Marx. And my granddad walked off the ship in ’39 and basically marched immediately up to the barracks and begged for a uniform, gun and ticket back to Germany to fight National SOCIALISTS. Keep in mind that if you sympathise with national SOCIALISTS you are not an anti-communist.

  53. Tom

    It’s not Bird

I’m afraid it is, Lizzie; I am amazed that his friends and family are apparently not concerned by his state of mind and haven’t intervened.

  54. Eyrie

Got that right, Tel. One of the reasons I never voted for the Hawke government.

  55. Luke

Gibson, there are always self-loathers and they usually seem more in numbers than they really are because of how vocal they are. I agree that those who support leftist causes have created the current mess and for some that means they helped create something that bites the hand that feeds it.

As to emotion and truth, emotion almost always wins. That’s human nature unfortunately. For a good book to introduce you to that idea, see Predicably Irrational. By a Jewish Israeli author BTW.

I bet all those protestors think of themselves as anti-racists, moral high grounders. Funnily enough they are employing exactly the same tactics used by the NASI SA (brown shirts) in breaking up meetings of their opponents.

  56. Bern1

Jews dominate the Nobel Prize in every category, they are leading scientists in so many fields. They are are prolific in the Arts, all the Arts,Medicine, business etc.

Why is so much hate directed at such a valuable people in every country they live in?

  57. Roger

I’m encouraged that types like Colonel Richard Kemp still exist in our world, because I doubt our world – by which I mean the West – can long exist without them.

  58. A Lurker

Why is so much hate directed at such a valuable people in every country they live in?

I think the answer is pretty straightforward – Socialists are jealous of, and loathe all who are successful by means of their own endeavour, and not by being parasites feeding from the State.

  59. Bill

This isn’t my site, and I like free speech. But I think a line should be drawn through arseholes like Mink Deville.

[Indeed – Mink is gone. Sinc]

  60. Roger

Why is so much hate directed at such a valuable people in every country they live in?

Medieval anti-semitism was at least explicable as rooted in religion.

Modern anti-semitism seems to be motivated at heart by envy, as A Lurker suggests.

It is a very ugly phenomenon.

  61. Bern1

Lurker I don’t think that is the answer.
I used to do a lot of contract work in Canberra and I still meet up with a lot of associates. The anti-semitism is getting worse each year. The right wingers like Israelis, but not jews, the lefties despise Israelis, not so much Jews. Irrational pack of bastards.

Still can’t understand the world-wide hatred of Jews.

  62. Rabz

Lynch has been filmed perpetuating an extremely vile anti Jewish blood libel.

His behaviour is as offensive as that of Tony Burka and his “Jews poisoning the water” rot.

FFS, these people sicken me. Good on the old lady for sinking the slipper.

  63. Mr Rusty

Where are the student groups in all this? Look at what was done to the UTS lecturer (name escapes me) after his emails were hacked. He was hounded out of the place. The students for liberty groups / young Liberals should be out there doing the same. Hound this Lynch fucker and his followers out of the Uni. Follow him round with signs and bullhorns saying “Beware, Jew-hating Nazi” and “racist walking, there’s a racist walking here”, paint Swastikas on his door, invade his lectures and hand out leaflets exposing his anti-semitism, photoshop his face to look like Hitler. Hand out leaflets in Chinese and Hindi to International students exposing Lynch as a racist and that they should avoid him and his followers, tell the Uni you are writing to education providers in India and China telling them to boycott Sydney Uni because they hire racist anti-semites. Don’t let up until he is fired. Then continue to hound him wherever he ends up. Do this and some might actually start to understand how we can beat the left with their own weapons.

  64. Mick Gold Coast QLD

    From Bern1 at 9:44 am:

“… in Canberra … The anti-semitism is getting worse each year. The right wingers like Israelis, but not jews, the lefties despise Israelis, not so much Jews. Irrational pack of bastards.

Still can’t understand the world-wide hatred of Jews.”

It has been a puzzle to me all my life Bern1.

Further, why would Canberrans have a hatred for Jews? Or even trouble themselves to give Jews a thought? It’s not as if there is an identifiable enclave of their shops and homes and synagogues, such as one finds in New York, or a trade or business type dominated by Jews.

That’s straight out bigotry for no reason.

I’m fairly sure Canberra people enjoy a higher proportion of more highly educated people than is found in other cities. They’re not very b-r-i-t-e though.

  65. Mr Rusty

Oh and target and write to all Uni donors (including the Government) telling them to withdraw their funding until Lynch and his mob are expelled.

  66. Old School Conservative

Saul Alinsky said “Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.” Letter perfect, Lynch says he would sue her if she didn’t desist and he had shown “almost heroic restraint” against the woman. He also wants the security guards disciplined.
He is a grub, an utter grub. However, he is living up to the Sydney University motto of “Truth in Nomenclature” as Director of the Conflict Studies Centre.

  67. Roger

Further, why would Canberrans have a hatred for Jews?

    Canberra leans to the Left.

The irony is there is much more concern for ‘social justice’ in the religious texts of Judaism than in Islam, which the Left favours.

  68. Bern1

    Mick,
The hatred of jews in Canberra is a bit of a puzzle. My stock question is “How many Jews do you know?

Very effective in shutting them up.The disdain is very shallow. Remember that the PS dominates Canberra and the lefties dominate the PS. There is a fair bit of “Go along to get along. “

  69. calli

It has been a puzzle to me all my life Bern1.

It seems completely irrational until your perspective changes.

Genesis 3:15 gives the answer, at least for Christians. And then the deep seated hatred towards the Jews becomes not only rational, but inevitable. It’s a geopolitical antipathy, but at its heart it’s diabolical.

Doesn’t excuse those who express it with mouths and actions, though.

  70. rebel with cause

Myths about Jews are also perpetuated in popular media. For instance, The Wire – a TV show beloved by the Left – perpetuated the myth of the grubby Jewish lawyer. The Bard himself, Shakespeare, was not immune from the anti-Semitism that existed at the time.

  71. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

Gee, Calli, I had to fly to Wiki for that one: ‘the seed of the woman’ etc.
Always room for debate in theology, I guess.

  72. Elizabeth (Lizzie) B.

The Bard himself, Shakespeare, was not immune from the anti-Semitism that existed at the time.

No, of course not. In essence though, Shakespeare was a humanist and an observer. As an observer, he saw that money-lending was an occupation not open to Christians, thus taken up by local Jewish populations, who as people with no land had early on to upskill themselves in things useful (such as accountancy and mathematics) in order to survive economically. Shakespeare’s Shylock was depicted by Shakespeare through the Christian eyes of his period. Look though at his daughter, the gentle Jessica, a lady of her time; Shakespeare has no hesitation in marrying her off to one of his heroes, and settling them both down happily in Christian domesticity. No ‘ethnic blood hatred’ there in Shakespeare’s humanism.

  73. Further, why would Canberrans have a hatred for Jews?

It’s because, Mick, that hating Jews is fashionable. These anti semites are sheep following wolves, and hoping the wolves turn on them last.

  74. rebel with cause

Indeed Lizzie, Shakespeare probably had one of the more enlightened attitudes of his time. My point was more in the service of the flavour of anti-Semitism that flows through popular entertainment.

  75. .

Sinclair can we just blanket ban idiots who come up with crap from The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion?

FFS. They are such a loathsome waste of time.

  76. srr

A visitation? It’s been a couple of weeks.

    This attitude is a problem.

When the standard response to Every anonymous name preaching Anti-Semitism is to simply write Them off as only another manifestation of one old, once beloved, hatefully bigoted, Anti-Semitic Cat, you fail to see and recognise just how very many there are like Graham Bird, until Universities and the Labor Party Governments they install are full of them.

At that (this?) point, even though the boldly open Anti-Semites are still in the minority, their readiness to cross from bullying, to violence against the persons, and destruction of careers, doesn’t only cower more into silence, but also attracts more cowards to join the many modern camps of Anti-Semites.

  77. .

Do you really want to debate them all, srr?

The Protocols were exposed as a hoax in 1921 IIRC. This is well known, freely available information.

As they refuse to admit it was a hoax, there is no point engaging with these idiots.

As you well know, Dot, I wasn’t engaging with them, for the same reason I rarely engage with you.

Anti-Semites/Pro-Islamists, same/same; verballing, lying, haters of humanity and truth.

My point was what it was; by playing down the number of those like Bird, the Jew hating Muslims and Anti-Christians rise to the numbers where hunting and slaughtering Jews while they shop in modern cities like Paris, becomes an excuse for The President of The United States to tell the world to be extra nice to Muslims, because it was only “some folks in a deli”, those Jew Hating Bastards Hunted Down and Murdered!

Out of all of them I only do business with Blackmores but am happy to write to them to tell them why I’m doing my own boycott, of their product.

Were I the trump of that show, I’d be formally enquiring of the uni what they propose to do about both remedial and prophylactic measures to both rectify and prevent Jewish grandmothers being physically intimdated by pseudo brownshirt mobs.

    Other donors:

Lions Club of Palm Beach – Currumbin
Lions NSW-ACT Save Sight Foundation Limited
    Rotary Club of Sydney

Lions clubs and Rotary clubs are members of the community giving through personal service, to the less fortunate.
It is an insult to the efforts of club members, not just those clubs, but the worldwide community of Lions and of Rotarians, for them to be paying for obscenities of the nature of perfesser Jay Clinch to disrupt a legitimate lecture in another part of the uni.

this is not polemical. I am simply puzzled by your reference to Gen 3:15. The comments of haShem are addressed to ‘nachash’, a serpent, one who hisses, and I can conceive of no connection between this and the Jews, unless you equate ‘Jews’ with ‘serpents’, which anti-Semites might, metaphorically, do. Perhaps it all reads somewhat differently in my Hebrew from whatever translation you are using. A puzzle.

Shut up dickhead. Go and defend Putin murdering 80+ Russian journalists. You dare defend this idiocy and tyranny on a libertarian blog?

Undoubtedly, Lynch subscribes to the notion of “collective guilt”. which is a feature of left wing (progressive) politics in Australia. For Lynch, the idea of “collective guilt” can be traced back to Karl Marx, without much trouble at all.

To be fair there are also some members of the Jewish community who also give voice to the idea of “collective guilt”.

The notion of collective guilt is immoral.

It would be appropriate to rub Lynch’s nose in it and leave the last word to one of the most intelligent, compassionate men gifted to this world: Simon Wiesenthal.

“…We Jews have been the victim of collective guilt theory for 2000 years, and we have stood up against it. Why should contemporary Jews, who were not alive 2000 years ago, be responsible for the death of Jesus on the cross….. These considerations have led me to consistently stand up against collective guilt with respect to the Germans, the Austrians, or other nationalities for more than 40 years. My work in the Documentation Centre is aimed at pointing out individual guilt and it thus stands as the categorical antithesis to collective guilt.”

It’s not so surprising that anti Semitism is rampant at Uni. Reputedly the SS contained two or three times as many students and graduates as the German male population at the time.

Undoubtedly, Lynch subscribes to the notion of “collective guilt”.

Only a collectivist could believe in collective guilt.
