US Election site news

I realise that there will be a lot of interest in the US election over the next two days. Jacques will be increasing the number of hamsters so that we shouldn’t experience any outage. Thanks be to Jacques. At the same time, however, there is no need to keep refreshing every 10 seconds or less.

I have scheduled four open forum posts to deal with the election. If things work as planned all four posts will remain at the top of the page with any other new non-US election posts appearing below them. The first post will ask for election predictions and will open tomorrow morning our time. The second post will open in the evening our time corresponding more or less with the polls opening in the US. The third post will open (more or less) as the count begins, and a final post will open to deal with on-going results.

I appreciate that many of you are likely to be somewhat disappointed and stressed and that trolls will appear to gloat but let’s try to not set any new standards in poor behaviour.

    Thank you, Jacques.

    You too, Sinc.

I hope you won’t be one of those gloating! 😡

  3. Zyconoclast

An attempt to free up the open forum?

  4. Sinclair Davidson

I hope you won’t be one of those gloating! ?

I’m never too big to admit I was right and you were wrong. 🙂

  5. Zyconoclast

Jacques will be increasing the number of hamsters…

Have you thought of using gerbils?
A favoured section of the community claim they can go all night. Also they don’t complain when placed in tight, dark and smelly environment.

  6. Dr Fred Lenin

Thank you both for that as far as the polls go. The media rarely tells the Truth why should their pools be different ?

    A challenge!!!

Sinclair thinks that the important thing about this election is that he called it correctly. OMG.

  10. Bruce of Newcastle

    Thanks be to Jacques.

    +1

I’ll lend you some possums too, if they’d help.

    trolls will appear to gloat

Chicken flavoured nibbles too, why Doomlord you are too kind!

    Oh yee of little faith!

  12. Rafe Champion

Listened to his speech in Iowa today, he is actually sounding Presidential, he has come on a mile since the campaign started.

    Thank you Sinclair, much appreciated.

    When does the rioting start?

  15. stackja

    Sinc and Jacques thank you.
We can but watch and wait.
Unlike past elections in the 1960s when only a few radio reports were available.
MSM in Australia like USA hopes for their HRC.

    Here or USA?

  17. Tracey

Poor Calli having to organise the skip to be in four places at once .

  18. hzhousewife

Brilliant! I nearly got Wed off work, but real life intervened, so now I’ll have to dial in as often as possible to keep up.

  19. H B Bear

    Here or USA?

Here for me. I’ve outsourced the US stuff to Uncle George and his BLM crew.

  20. Anne

    Factually correct. 😉

I am working by watching the election from home. I appreciate the gesture of the threads – thanks to Sinc and Jacques.

I will be cycling between Fox and CNN and their ABC whilst looking at the Cat, Breitbart, Conservative Tree House, Gateway Pundit and Ace of Spades – oh and drinking beer and a 10 y.o. St Henri if Trump pulls it off.

I am looking forward t0 your company on this pivotal day in modern history. I hope it will be like 15 September 1940 when the RAF defeated the largest ever concentration of German aircraft – the Germans never recovered. Or like 23 December 1942 when the German effort to breakthrough to the besieged 6th Army in Stalingrad were called off. A Trump win will be the biggest set back for the global Left since the collapse of the Berlin Wall.

  22. C.L.

I won’t be stressed if Clinton wins.
Watching her be destroyed for four years will be magnificent fun.

  23. john constantine

The fuckers decided how many electoral college votes lady brown paper envelope was going to win by a long time ago.

The popular vote now, that will be a thing.

Inner economy versus outer economy, they even do it for voting.

October 1973, where the Israeli Army, initially outnumbered 14 to 1 on the Golan Heights, and the Suez Canal, ended the war within artillery range of Damascus, and Israeli tanks going hell for leather up the road to Cairo?

  25. Habib

Nixon was nowhere near as criminally vile as the Hildebeest, so I trust if that creature slithers into the Oval Office she is hounded as hard, impeached, and perp-marched off to Club Fed.

Seeing as the meeja, DoJ and the FBI are clearly fully infiltrated I won’t be holding my breath. At least there’s a fair chance the senile old bag will vapour-lock before she causes too much damage, there’s probably not much left to fuck up after eight years of Bazza.

  26. Talleyrand

    Vielen Dank Herr Lehrstuhlinhaber

let’s try to not set any new standards

There are old standards? I only came here to ‘other’ the poor, the perverse, the posers, and the pinkos, from my position of privilege and power (just like any normal far-right, extremist, radical, redneck, racist conservative). Pfffft. Standards my perineum.

  28. OldOzzie

    To Sinclair and Jacques,

    Thanks

to all Contributors, really enjoy the discussions

a 10 y.o. St Henri if Trump pulls it off.

OK, if Trump pulls it off, not as good as yours, mine will be either a 1998 Penfolds Bin 389 or Serrat’s 2014 Shiraz Viogner, which was named Wine of the Year 2015, by respected wine critic and writer James Halliday, and I was lucky to get 6 bottles.

  29. Megan

Thanks Jacques and the Mighty Doomlord. Don’t forget that under FWA those hamsters will need to be paid penalty rates and have domestic violence leave available to them. Onwards Cats!

Not going to happen, if she wins she is untouchable. Besides, McConnell and Ryan are in tune with Hillary, there’s no way they will make any waves.

Of course Wikileaks may yet have something for after the election but it’s highly unlikely. If they had anything they would have dumped it already. If Hillary wins Wikileaks will be history, physically and electronically.

Stack, take the day off as the inaugural Public Holiday for Freedom.

Alternatively, a day off to stock the larder and prepare for Armageddon!

Nice story from American Thinker – mostly about dogs.

    It’s off again. God almighty.

let’s try to not set any new standards in poor behaviour

That would take some doing for this joint.

The only reason Nixon was forced out – and (W.J.) Clinton wasn’t – was the numbers in Congress; RN didn’t have them, so out he went. WJC did have them, so in he stayed. That’s all there was to it. Don’t anyone get their hopes up for a HRC impeachment.

If she wins she’ll serve eight years and complete the destruction of the US.

If Trump wins, I will celebrate with Mumms and Veuve Clicquot (all I have out here in he bush) til I retire, resplendently happy to bed!

I will not drunk blog, having learned I cannot type on a good day let alone a tipsy minute. How does gunner do it?

If he looses, I wouldn’t piss on shrills if she was on fire.

  38. john constantine

Their wikileaks will be just fine under the clinton foundation presidency, a few big donations the right way and a promise to allow her to weaponise them against her opponents, and all is good.

[pity about that depressed assange bloke hanging himself in guilt about all the nasty things he said, but the hanging will all be lost in the media buzz of her swearing in ceremony.

  39. Ant

Thank you for giving the election the attention it deserves.

    Sun!

    I’m being hacked already!

There must be some interesting internal polling on both sides if they are contesting Michigan.

Hillary was just in Pittsburgh on Friday and she is going back again.

  43. .

I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

Incidentally the the Comet Ping Pong that Cernovich is going on about.

Headline read that the clinton foundation paid for chelseas wedding, but who cares now.

  46. Crossie

Headline read that the clinton foundation paid for chelseas wedding, but who cares now.

And that’s exactly how the Clintons and the media do it, they pretend it’s an old story five minutes after it surfaces.

  47. BorisG

It is interesting how in the minds of trumpoids Wikileaks made a transition from traitors to patriots.

  48. .

    LOL

You’re right Boris. Three months ago they wanted to hang Brad/Chelsea Manning.

Which shows a complete lack of principle and sheer partisanism.

  49. stackja

    How will Dixville Notch vote?

  50. Tailgunner

Thanks Prof.Sinc, good luck to hamster master Jaques and Cats&Kittehs….
