Same to you mate!

With certain publications, you know what you are getting.  You usually know well before you read them.  There are seldom surprises with the ideas or the agenda.  That does not mean that they should not be read.  It also does not mean that what is written is always right or always wrong or not funny.  Think the Sydney Morning Herald.  Think the Guardian.

Think also Front Page magazine which describes itself as a Project of the David Horowitz Freedom Centre:

The David Horowitz Freedom Center is best seen as a School of Political Warfare. The Center’s mission is to defend free societies which are under attack from enemies within and without, both secular and religious. The Center’s focus and the School’s curriculum have two agendas:

1. Identify the enemy and understand his nature
2. Devise ways to attack and neutralize him

Writing last week on Hillary Clinton’s new book, What Happened, David Greenfield wrote some classics:

Three creatures on earth are impossible to get rid of: lice, cockroaches and Clintons.

and

But while Democrats wish Hillary Clinton would go away, she embodies today’s left better than anyone.  Hillary was America’s First Crybully: the malicious professional victim, the abuser who claims to be the abused, the black nationalist thug throwing cinderblocks at police while shrieking, “Hands up, don’t shoot” and the leftist campus protesters screaming how afraid they are while they terrorize speakers.

If I could do only one thing in my remaining days, I would correct Greenfield.  Four creatures on earth are impossible to get rid of: lice, cockroaches, Clintons and that irritating fellow from Queensland who now lives in New York.

The same to you mate!  Shake your own sauce bottle!

Just be glad he is in NY. I’m sure the taxpayers who are funding his retirement are grateful of the distance.

BTW is he hoping by being close, and if the UN SG falls off his twig, Kevin will get the top UN gong?

  2. Tintarella Di Luna

    Kevin the unloved

  3. Muddy

Does NO ARCHIVING refer to the photograph or Krudd? Has there been a new lamination innovation I’m not yet aware of?

  4. Cassie of Sydney

Even seeing his photo makes me want to reach for the bucket.

  5. stackja

Kev 07 left Australia with many problems.

  6. Talking about publications, The Age has these funny pop ups that say that you’ve used up your free readership allocation for the month, so please subscribe.

I visit the Pravda on the Yarra just to keep abreast of what the other side dribbles on about and, unless the site is locked down like the NYT, viewing their ‘unbiased’ reporting is not difficult.

Please do lock it down, then no one will be read the Pravda on the Yarra. That can only be a good thing in the long run.

Someone occasionally leaves a dead tree copy of the Silly Moaning Hemorrhoid in the lunch room here at work. I’ll look through it briefly but what really strikes straight up is “who on earth would pay for this garbage?” Seems a whole bunch of its ex-readership has come to the same conclusion.

    Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle …

  8. And why is it that these newspapers need to try and get subscribers? I can see a $1 billion reason why. A bit off topic, but there you go.

Identify the enemy and understand his nature – sexist

  10. Oh come on

Rudd lives in NY? What’s he doing there? Haunting the offices of the UN Secretary-General?

Poor Kevni. Maybe he thinks he’s got another shot at the position. It ain’t Australian politics, mate.

  11. Peter

Yeh all true. But you can step on cockroaches.

  12. John Constantine

Nobody ever seems the slightest bit interested in where their filth-rudd family obtained their massive and sudden fortune.

Australia, you are standing in it, Comrades.

    Who’s the old lesbian?

They did rather well didn’t they.

  15. Robber Baron

Kevin demands respect. He’s come a long way from sleeping in a car to the big apple.

If only he could return from time to time to remind PM Turnbull of his promise of UN support.

  16. Dr Fred Lenin

Yes John Constantine , it amazes me that the wealth accumulated by the ex leaders of the “people’s party ” (alp), during office ,is seemingly of no interest to the elite scum , hawke ,keating , and of course the rudd scum , Australia a land under the rule of law ? What bloody law ?

  17. JamesS

“Nobody ever seems the slightest bit interested in where their filth-rudd family obtained their massive and sudden fortune.”

Shanghai Sam is an amateur compared to Rudd

Getting out of Australia before his balls got liberated is an awesome feat. Now he can push them little nuclear nuggets on someone else. Credit where credit is due.

Yeah, better add Al Gore to that list.

  20. AinsleyH

If I can correct you, his name is Daniel not David Greenfield, he also writes as Sultan Knish and his output is often brilliant and insight rarely off.

I’ve been reading FP mag for years and have found its Discover the Networks tool  good for jogging the memory on movements or people like say the New Left, Maurice Strong, Rashid Khalidi or, considering the recently awful Emmys, Hanoi Jane. Horowitz also started TruthRevolt to counter the pro-Clinton Media Matters run by erstwhile conservative David Brock.

Your list of publications where ‘you know what you are getting’ is odd because they’re left-leaning and Horowitz and FP are decidedly not. His intellectual journey  since the sixties to America-first, pro-Trump conservative is interesting but he is no longer a radical son. Maybe I misunderstood your references to FP as a sneer, but also perhaps due to his lefty origins you view Horowitz as a neo-con. I wouldn’t agree but if so, he sure has few nice words for the handful of out of touch ‘renegades’ like Bill Kristol et al.

You’re right about the cockroaches though.
