    Wow:

The Hill: deep throat FBI whistleblower says he was forced not to call Benghazi attack “terrorism” on the orders of Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

McCabe is now under investigation for accepting a $700,000 bribe from Hillary Clinton:

… the Justice Department inspector general and the U.S. Office of Special Counsel are both investigating whether McCabe, the FBI deputy director, violated the Hatch Act or engaged in improper ethical conflicts when his wife ran for Virginia state senate in 2015 as a Democrat.

His wife received $700,000 in campaign support tied to Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), a Clinton ally who was under investigation by the FBI at the time. Records show McCabe attended a meeting in March 2015 with McAuliffe designed to secure the governor’s support of Jill McCabe’s candidacy.

Harvey Wankstain is a knob. I hope he gets whats coming to him. But enough already with the courageous posturing sistah-hood.

Corey Feldman says Hollyweird is full of fiddykiddlers, who are naturally attracted like vermin to honey by the concentration of young, good-looking wannabe Stars. It perhaps explains years and years of young actors winding up drug addicts and suicided. It can’t all be dodgy managers and stage-struck parents – though the crap parents have a LOT to answer for.

Weinstein waving his tonkly around and molesting innocent pot plants is disgusting.

The fiddykiddlers are flying low to try and avoid being caught up in the purge. This needs to be addressed. California Dems can be expected to die in the ditch to stop inquiries in to Hollyweird.

Disgusting lizard creature and supposed journalist Barbara Walters disparaged Corey Feldman for pointing out Hollyweird is a cesspit.

This people are scum and the more damage inflicted on them, the better.

‘Magda has not been spotted on the lawns of Parliament house, it’s just a garden gnome.’

I almost literally ran into Magda at Melbourne Airport the other day – presumably returning from her National Press Cub triumph – and I was brought up short by her extraordinary appearance, worse in the flesh than any depiction in the media, a grotesquely bloated waddling midget with a nasty expression, how she ever fitted into a plane seat – I assume she travels business – escapes me.

I’m told looks shouldn’t matter, but going abroad like that – the failed face of Jenny Craig – must have some sort of negative effect on one’s personality; it is unlikely to assist you to be kind, tolerate and rational.

She was met at the airport by a middle aged bloke who picked up her luggage and generally fussed and fretted over her. He was probable only a hire car driver, but he wasn’t dressed like one. His body language was more that of PA or a minder.

BTW, one thing I noticed in Melbourne was how State Government’s jihad-foiling bollards in the CBD were performing a useful function as public communal ashtrays.

Dot, you prove my point with that Breitbart piece.
It’s just a way to get young ones in as explained above, by being part of a “radical movement” that the oldies don’t get.

It’s even a ploy often talked about by Bill Whittle.
The unfortunate facts are that this is great for recruiting the young but their politics is no different from the previous generations of righties before them..

In dividing themselves (basically generationally) they open themselves up to being attacked as a small whack job outfit instead of part of the whole right wing population.
    (see video above)
They are not outsiders, they are the mainstream of right wing politics and now the left have them separated off as whack jobs not far removed from criminals because they have divided and labelled themselves.
Bloody hell, I do have to go.

The Australian government has been funding Catholic schools very generously since the 1960s, and the Church is a tax-exempt organisation. I

No no Australian Catholic taxpayers fund Catholic schools both directly and indirectly and they do it far more cheaply than for what it costs to run governments schools.

I am heartily sick of hearing about the ‘generous’ funding for Catholic schools.

My kids were educated at Catholic schools with far less resources, larger class sizes and less taxpayer money than any of the local state schools

Children at Catholic schools should not be the poor cousins of the education system, like we were in the 60s when my primary school had class sizes of up to 75.

I don’t know why the tax exempt status of the Church has anything to do with school funding either, those finances are completely separate.

Donations to churches are not tax deductible and I don’t see why Church donations should be taxed twice.

People these days have this weird idea that the word Nationalism actually means Nazi.

In fact just about every word not uttered by someone who is a Goddamned Hippy Commie actually means Nazi.

    This is the problem.

The point at which our society began it’s slow descent into degeneracy can be determined quite easily.

It is from the moment when the word “Nazi” replaced the word “Commie” as an insult.

    1. Is true until you read 2., which makes 1 redundant.

Either the govt. ought to hand the education dept. over to the CSO or Catholics ought to be tax exempt for everyone else.

If people want an education that costs 57% more with no demonstrable gain, let them pay for it themselves.

New indigenous Sandalwood partnership and business

‘Dutjahn Sandalwood Oils will take its first delivery of sandalwood from a 10 Year West Australian Government (FPC) supply agreement. This supply agreement is linked to a 10% royalty into an Indigenous Foundation that is chartered to maximise Indigenous equity in the Australian sandalwood industry.

Unique in the sandalwood arena, Dutjahn Sandalwood Oils Indigenous participants are 50% stake holders in the distillery, selling their wood to DSO at full market price and are also beneficiaries in the profits the new venture creates. Dutjahn Sandalwood Oils, as a 50% indigenous owned company, will also reinvigorate Indigenous Certification that was formerly pioneered in Western Australia.

Ken Farmer (deceased) was a first contact Martu Aboriginal man who first came out of the Gibson Desert as a young man in the 1950’s. In the year of his son’s birth (Clinton Farmer -1977) he began harvesting sandalwood (Dutjahn is the Martu word for this sacred tree) from the Gibson Desert. He inspired second contact Indigenous leaders to pursue his vision.

The Martu and Wongi race have the worst life expectancy in the world. Martu and Wongi men born in 1962 (ABS) will die at an average age of 38 – a number that is a shocking contrast to the rest of society. The central desert people have lived in harmony with this desert environment for over 20,000 years and so the creation of this new venture is important on several fronts but probably the most important one being their capacity to now have a significant role in the WA sandalwood oil industry.

Nota – the way I like to put it is “Catholic schools subsidise State education”

    Indeed

The Catholic system like it or no educates around 30% of children, if Catholic schools are to be deprived of taxpayer funds then Catholics should get equivalent tax relief.

I wonder how many Catholic parishes charge their primary schools outrageous over market value rents for the schools on their properties?

People who argue for the taxation of churches are arguing for the destruction of religion, they effectively want to tax property values in order to force churches to be sold off to pay those taxes.

So many outraged that Catholic communities own desirable property in places like Kew. How dare they! (and yes I have heard such comments)

Looks like the Turnbull government has done something right, for once:

Charities and non-government organisations have expressed alarm at the Turnbull government’s appointment of controversial former Labor MP Gary Johns as the head of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

The selection of Dr Johns, according to representatives of the sector, is “bizarre” and forms part of a wider effort to clamp down on criticism of government policy and the public advocacy work of charities, which the incoming commissioner has previously targeted.

    [ … ]

A former senior fellow at conservative think-tank the Institute of Public Affairs, Dr Johns has also been a critic of environmental groups who campaign against fossil fuels and charities who send money overseas and “give aid to Third World kleptomaniacs”.

The appointment has shocked Community Council of Australia CEO David Crosbie, who said it was “bizarre” as Dr Johns was a campaigner against charities.

“It’s a continuation, for us, of a theme that says the government wants to silence the voice of charities,” Mr Crosbie said.

“Gary Johns has made numerous public statements that clearly indicate he is opposed to many charities and their work. Only a government committed to attacking the charities sector would put someone like Gary Johns in as head of the ACNC.”

Sounds promising. The usual suspects loathe Johns, who has written some excellent articles about political activists masquerading as charities, and other topics, over the years.

Nota – an interesting case study told to me by the Bishop of Perth is that St Mary’s Cathedral at the Easterly end of the city is at one of the highest metropolitan points, it is now surrounded by a lot of expensive infrastructure, infill etc… and the land at the site would be worth tens of millions of dollars; if not more. It’s not located down the hill toward the river as the Anglican Cathedral is.

However, history tells another story. The early British colony gave the Catholic Church the land for the Cathedral because it was on a hill which meant: Had to dig deeper for a well to have access to water and it was more subject to the elements on a hill rather than the Anglican Cathedral which, isn’t far away, but is downhill, closer to water and safer from the elements.

It’s the other way ’round actually.

The Pali leaders can’t say no to the EU and refuse to talk to the Israelis because if they did that they’d be defunded. If they were defunded they wouldn’t be able to pay their security guys and they’d immediately be assassinated.

At the same time the Pali leaders can’t accept any deal with the Israelis since before their signature was dry they’d also be assassinated. By the plebs or their security guys, whichever got there first.

So they always talk and never agree. That way they keep breathing.

The ABC’s take on Trump’s Jerusalem announcement is a mighty dollop of stupid. Too hard to go through the lot because of the filter, so here’s an example:

But in a city as ancient and complex as Jerusalem, there is more than one “reality”.

Oh, really? Reality is reality. Anywhere.

And here is why the situation is far more complicated:

Jerusalem is not only a J-wish city

About one in five Israelis are in fact Israeli Arabs — effectively Palestinians who have Israeli citizenship.

So? If they are citizens of Israel they enjoy Israel’s privileges, like hospitals and education and jobs. If they dislike it, I’m sure there are plenty of Arab nations queueing up to take these exemplary citizens.

And beyond the “green line” that separates Israel from occupied territory, Palestinians still make up much, if not most, of the population in East Jerusalem.

    Again, So?

For them, it is unthinkable that their own capital in a future state could be anywhere but Jerusalem.

Ahh, now we get to it. A “reality” that isn’t a reality, just a dream of conquest.

This is how much the Swedish Protected Classes utterly despise their own people:

Eritrean migrant who shot man in the leg in Sweden while calling him racist is freed by the Swedish court because it cannot be proven that he knew the gun would fire a bullet when he pulled the trigger.

I’m starting to think Trump is unbelievably tough. He gave Mueller and co more and more rope. Now there’s gonna be a hanging and it ain’t gonna be Trump. Mueller and co have gone too far to pull out. The coup is over, now it’s a question of whether Mueller will be done for treason or corruption. Lord we are in strange territory.

Why are you only just waking up to that? His entire political career is testament to his ability to withstand short-term hysteria and play the long game.

A good example is when Manafort admitted lying to the FBI. As that wily, smart (but signed up Democrat) legal expert Alan Dershowitz pointed out, that means that his credibility as a witness is in the toilet. A Pyhrric victory.

In the UK, they just found out that guys were planning to blow up the PM, people of a certain religion. But the luvvies are still wittering on about how mean he was to retweet something, to which he responded – look in your own backyard. And guess what, they were plotting to blow up Theresa May. Also this week, a guy has been charged for posting on social media about targeting that little kid in line for the throne, forget his names and titles just now.

Worse still, in an anonymous poll of UK MPs, a book about how to get out of Brexit topped the poll.

But according to the luvvies, Trump is the enemy.

    The enemy is within.

“The usual suspects loathe Johns, who has written some excellent articles about political activists masquerading as charities, and other topics, over the years.”

Johns was my Minister in the last couple of years of the Keating Administration, a reward, it was widely understood, for his support for Keating against Hawke.

A former geography teacher, Johns seemed to me to be both an intellectual and executive lightweight. The contrast between his metal capabilities – or at least as I perceived tham – as a Minister and the stuff he now writes is so stark that I tend to believe – perhaps unfairly – that he doesn’t actually write them.

It will be interesting to see how he performs in an executive role, Still, the agency has been relatively newly staffed and is unlikely, therefore, to be politicised; also, the fact that intrenched interests hate him shows that his appointment is a step in the right direction.

Re school funding, a few years ago (can’t remember if it was in the final days of the Howard clerical fascist dictatorship or the early days of the Abbott clerical fascist dictatorship) an education union announced with great fanfare that it would take a case to the High Court, to use anti-discrimination laws to force the Commonwealth to fund all school students equally. Unless the Commonweahlth increased funding massively, private schools would lose while public schools would gain huge extra funding.

It all disappeared from the news quite quickly. I wonder whether the union’s legal team advised that, while the case might be successful, the principle could flow onto state funding of schools, forcing the states to also fund private school students equally.

Do you know anything about this? Is it worth private schools pursuing the case, IF my surmise above is correct?

For a start there a lot of those disturbed minds: the BLM campaign comes to mind and identity politics in general is an expression of racial distinctions, among other things. At its core is the belief whites are unfairly advantaged and other colours disadvantaged. Perhaps the mayor is thinking of the US south a while ago or SA 50 years ago. Perhaps she is channelling historical based guilt rather than a real perspective about current conditions of equality.

  99. From the folk song I guess gay marriage has been a while coming.

Come gather round and listen lads, and hear me tell m’ tale,
How across the sea from England I was condemned to sail.
The jury found me guilty, and then says the judge, says he,
Oh for life, Jim Jones, I’m sending you across the stormy sea.
But take a tip before you ship to join the iron gang,
Don’t get too gay in Botany Bay, or else you’ll surely hang.
Or else you’ll surely hang, he says, and after that, Jim Jones,
Way up high upon yon gallows tree, the crows will pick your bones.

Our ship was high upon the seas when pirates came along,
    But the soldiers on our convict ship were full five hundred strong;
They opened fire and so they drove that pirate ship away
But I’d rather joined that pirate ship than gone to Botany Bay.
With the storms a-raging round us, and the winds a-blowing gales
I’d rather drowned in misery than gone to New South Wales.
There’s no time for mischief there, remember that, they say
Oh they’ll flog the poaching out of you down there in Botany Bay.

Day and night in irons clad we like poor galley slaves
Will toil and toil our lives away to fill dishonored graves
But by and by I’ll slip m’ chains and to the bush I’ll go
And I’ll join the brave bushrangers there, Jack Donahue and Co.
And some dark night all is right and quiet in the town,
I’ll get the bastards one and all, I’ll gun the floggers down.
I’ll give them all a little treat, remember what I say
And they’ll yet regret they sent Jim Jones in chains to Botany Bay.

Update on the CFA “hazing” incident.
    It’s all bullshit ….

Doesn’t change the fact that only small men and closeted faggots engage in any hazing ceremonies.

And any man that treats a woman or girl the same as a man is highly suspect. Sheilas are different and we must acknowledge this with our words and actions.

  107. struth

Astonishing footage out of Minnesota shows the Mayor of New Brighton breaking down into tears after one fellow council member refuses to acknowledge her “white privilege.”

And she didn’t like being interrupted when she had nothing to say except the bullshit statement “white privilege exists.
She can neither prove it or wants to.
Her answer to the woman was to drag out a “disgusted silence” for as long as possible and turn on the tears.

Her saying it exists should be enough.
Pure dumb arrogance of the highest order.
The absolute stupidity of the left is that their argument is that we don’t know what it feels like to be black, or another colour, so we must automatically assume we are privileged.
If we don’t know, then we might be less privileged, equally privileged, more privileged, but other colours don’t know what it’s like to be us either.
So they could be less privileged, equally or more etc, etc.
    It’s all so incredibly stupid.

The law in Australia enshrines privilege to people who are not white.
We are legally discriminated against and this can be proven.
That’s why so many whites find out they are black and no one goes the other way.
If all of a sudden there was a 10% tax placed on being aboriginal, 90% of the race would disappear overnight.

Basically, from his blog, the D-Rat machine in the persona runs everything. Weepy spear-carriers like The Mayor are allowed in to vent their SJW-angst, as long as they don;t rock the real power and money.

‘A Katherine Town Council delegation visited Canberra yesterday to plea for help on the town’s PFAS contamination… The trio met with health minister Greg Hunt and defence minister Marise Payne …“We still have not seen the interim health report and we have asked for a copy as soon as possible…When we asked the health minister for a copy he told us he had not even seen it which was a bit perplexing.’

Russia recognised west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital over six months ago with next to no coverage by the ABC, although that recognition also called for east Jerusalem to be the future capital of a Palestinian state (should the latter ever eventuate).

But Trump’s recognition is not that different from Putin’s given he has explicitly left the final disposition of any boundaries with a future Palestinian state capital in east Jerusalem to the two parties concerned.

If you are talking about PFOA it is not part of Teflon at all, but is an intermediate product in the making of Teflon. Du-Pont was accused of leaking this into the environment, although the levels measured have been incredibly small (of the order of hundreds of parts per trillion) but I would guess that the Carbon-Fluorine bond is easy to detect and good for a bit of scaremongering.

The Abramovich trade is alive and well. This is an absolute catastrophe for the West. How the fuck could a rag head be allowed to purchase the only known Da Vinci in private hands is an embarrassment that every western billionaire worth over $5 billion. They should be hung and quartered.

    The Da Vinci went to:

Vain virtue, or rather artue signaling aside, the location of the painting was also a clear enough clue to the identity of the heretofore secret buyer, and his identity was unveiled also this afternoon, when the NYT reported that the buyer “is a little-known Saudi prince from a remote branch of the royal family, with no history as a major art collector, and no publicly known source of great wealth. But the prince, Bader bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan al-Saud, is the mystery buyer of Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “Salvator Mundi,” which fetched a record $450.3 million at auction last month, documents show.”

There were several art barbarians at the Cat who actually had the temerity to criticize the artwork. You idiots, there are only 15 known Da Vincis in the entire world and only one of them can be in private hands. You should be flogged and no apology or groveling will be acceptable.

If you are talking about PFOA it is not part of Teflon at all

Tel – I’m a chemist. When you heat PTFE with oxygen and oil, fat or whatever, you will get a chemical reaction.

Teflon cookware coatings degrade, and they especially do so over the hot zone of the element. That is the PTFE breaking down. When you split the chain and oxidise the end you have just produced PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substances). You may produce PFOA too, but more likely there’d be a range of medium chain perfluorocarboxylic acids, not just octyl. Such things will tend to solubilize especially in oil or fat, since they’re very hydrophobic.

Clearly hordes of people are dying horribly of PFAS exposure all over the world! Not.

They may be dying of fatty food, but I doubt the perfluoro chains are what is doing it. They’re likely to sit quietly in the cell membrane forever, since they are so inert.
