Leak skewered that pompous parasitic prick perfectly.

Ah Bill Leak never ever ever missed is his pictorial summation of scumbags – I just wonder how much Maurice Blackburn skimmed off a particular class action wherein extremely vulnerable people were to receive certain compensation? I wonder what the cut was for Maurice Blackburn given the scandalous amounts siphoned off from the dead and the barely living in the Black Saturday fires?

Hard to know the final figures.

Tony Burqa is threatening the government over the citizenship debacle — that the coalition will regret going for the jugular of the skunks hiding their section 44.2 ineligibility to sit in the Parliament

Say what you like about the miserable scumbag but Burke will fearlessly punch from the bottom, particularly against these feckless Liberals.

Recall: despite flying his mistress around the world, taking a holiday to Uluru and attending a Robbie Williams concert on the public dime, HE went on the attack against the expense-rorting clowns of the Liberal party.
Not only did Burke avoid jail remain in parliment but he even had THEM giving him a pass out of it:

Bill Shorten and Liberal frontbencher Christopher Pyne have defended Labor’s Tony Burke for racking up $225,000 in overseas travel costs in 2008-09.

RE: Maurice Blackburn’s Black Saturday rivers of gold

The Oz published some insane numbers back in 2016:

The firm received a lump sum of $60m from the first class action to cover costs of running the case in Victoria’s Supreme Court, and also banked $20m for the second class action settlement of $300m.

On top of the $80m, the firm is being lucratively remunerated, each and every billable hour of every day, in the ongoing and time-consuming process of administering the settlement. The rich flow of partner dividends is likely to continue for some time as the victims wait for cash to rebuild their lives.

So they’ve (reportedly) clipped 10% + ongoing fees.

Those asthma puffers contribute to global warming just like all medicine does. Keeping people alive contributes to global warming.

    WORLD BREAKING NEWS
Ramaphosa wins election as ANC president

    Alexander Winning And James Macharia
    Reuters
    4:22PM December 19, 2017

South African Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has been elected leader of the African National Congress in a close-run vote that will set the direction for the country and the scandal-plagued party that has ruled since the end of apartheid.

As ANC leader, Ramaphosa, a 65-year-old union leader who became a businessman and is now one of South Africa’s richest people, is likely to become the country’s next president after elections in 2019.

He has promised to fight rampant corruption and revitalise the economy, a message hailed by foreign investors.

Jacob Zuma’s presidency, tainted by corruption and scandal, has badly tarnished the ANC’s image both at home and abroad. The party once led by Nelson Mandela is now deeply divided.

Ramaphosa narrowly beat Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, 68, a former cabinet minister and Zuma’s ex-wife, in Monday’s vote, marking a pivotal moment for the ANC, which launched black-majority rule under Mandela’s leadership 23 years ago.

The woman who gave sex offender, Roman Polanski a standing ovation at the Oscars now says she didn’t know about big fat Harvey.

    Sure, we believe her. 🙂

Meryl Streep insists she didn’t know about Harvey Weinstein abuse

Hollywood grandee Meryl Streep has defended herself against criticism that she continued to work with Harvey Weinstein despite his reputation as a sexual predator, insisting: “I didn’t know.”

Streep spoke out after Rose McGowan attacked her and other actresses who plan to wear black to this year’s Golden Globes in protest at sexual harassment in the industry.

McGowan’s since deleted tweet said: “Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @goldenglobes in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real chance. I despise your hypocrisy.”

She added: “Maybe you should all wear Marchesa,” referencing the fashion line co-created by Weinstein’s ex-wife, Georgina Chapman.

Streep, who once likened Weinstain to “God”, insisted she “wasn’t deliberately silent” about Weinstein’s abusive treatment of women in Hollywood because she didn’t know it was happening.

“It hurt to be attacked by Rose McGowan in banner headlines this weekend, but I want to let her know I did not know about Weinstein’s crimes, not in the 90s when he attacked her, or through subsequent decades when he proceeded to attack others,” Streep said in a statement to the Huffington Post. “I wasn’t deliberately silent. I didn’t know. I don’t tacitly approve of rape. I didn’t know. I don’t like young women being assaulted. I didn’t know this was happening.”

The veteran actress had said she was appalled by the claims made against the movie mogul. His “behaviour is inexcusable, but the abuse of power familiar”, Streep said a statement when the allegations were first aired. She has always insisted that she was unaware of his decades of abuse despite working having her movies championed by the producer.

Amber Tamblyn previously responded to McGowan’s tweet, calling for women to stand together. “I do not support any woman (or man) shaming or taunting the movements of other woman who are trying to create change. Telling us to wear Marchesa? This is beneath you, Rose,” the actress wrote.

Funniest thing I’ve read this week is Tim Blair’s imagined paragraph from Peter FitzSimons’ book on Burke and Wills:

“WTF?” thought Burke. This was the second night running that Wills had crept into his tent, naked except for rainbow-coloured silk underpants. Wills offered the older man a plate of late-evening treats. “What have you here?” Burke asked, his homophobic defensiveness an obvious precursor to Australia’s contentious 2017 postal vote on same-sex marriage. “Oh, you know, just some stuff I found around the place,” Wills answered, twirling as he spoke. “I think this is a native kale salad. 59. Fisky

Wow. The UN has a whole sub-division devoted to what it calls “replacement migration”. It even provides a list of countries that “need” “replacement migration”. That’s not weird or creepy at all.

United Nations projections indicate that over the next 50 years, the populations of virtually all countries of Europe as well as Japan will face population decline and population ageing. The new challenges of declining and ageing populations will require comprehensive reassessments of many established policies and programmes, including those relating to international migration.

Focusing on these two striking and critical population trends, the report considers replacement migration for eight low-fertility countries (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and United States) and two regions (Europe and the European Union). Replacement migration refers to the international migration that a country would need to offset population decline and population ageing resulting from low fertility and mortality rates.

  61. Fisky

I mean, if the UN wanted to sugar-coat this, they would call it “supplementary migration” or “top-up migration”. The fact they use the word “replacement” means they basically want to “replace” existing populations (mainly in Western countries) with, for example, Muslims.

I’ve been saying for years that the goal of globalist immigration-ism is to overwhelm white countries with brown people who will become simple majorities or culturally preponderant, pushy minorities. That’s not a joke or a conspiracy theory. It’s a fact. The UN and its apologists want to end the very notion of a ‘white, Christian’ nation. Taken to its extreme – which is where it will be taken, unless checked – these nations will become socialist, liberty-extinguishing toilets beset by racial and religious conflict. Having said that, the native whites have been so indoctrinated and corrupted that precisely who among them would bring aggression to such battles is now difficult to say.

It goes without saying that the precursor to any ‘replacement’ migration is the massive, dogmatic brainwashing of women as well as the denigration of traditional marriage, motherhood and fecundity generally. The Pinochet/Franco-ist approach to the left was always the best template: as soon as leftists credibly threaten your society and culture, exterminate them. Close to too late now.

An African would have a matrix of little hollows in a tree stump, and drop in stones for 0s and 1s.
But base 10 has suffered a setback as using fingers only gives correct results but there are not enough digits to do base ten on the toes. Toe maths is dodecimal.

The reason why Communism failed to spread is because there were coherent European countries with a strong Christian heritage standing in the way. Since 1989, we’ve seen Plan B rolled out, which is to open the borders and create permanent electoral majorities for socialism, within the formerly “Western” countries.

    an exciting epistemological clarity

Here’s the exciting epistemological clarity about menstruation. It can painful in your lower groin, it can be messy if it springs unawares, it can smell if improperly attended, it can flood and make you tired, and it often comes with a backache and/or a headache. Before it arrives you may be bloated and cranky and unsexy, and not a nice person to live with, which is not your fault. Your man has to hold you and say there, there, while stroking your hair. If it’s late you’re either pregnant and blissfully rid of it for ten or more months; if not pregnant but just late, you’re in for another bad few days.

The good thing about menstruation is that mothers are sort-of proud when their daughters start, and it is a secret business between all women. Being Welsh, my mother used an archaic term for it all: your ‘courses’. I had no idea what she was talking about. Men have no idea about it at all really and most don’t want to know. Like getting a bra, it also tells you that your body is made for having babies, which is a very nice thought, and turns you a little bit to considering men and how you differ. It also teaches girls to count in days, weeks and months, although sometimes we forget.

The above is all there is to it. No need for anything more in the ‘studies’ line on this.

Macron Government Plans to Tighten French Immigration Policy
    Anne-Sylvaine Chassany, Financial Times, December 18, 2017

Emmanuel Macron’s government is planning to toughen France’s immigration policy in a bill to be debated next year, a move that critics have warned will fuel anti-migrant sentiment taking hold across Europe.

Gérard Collomb, French interior minister, said on Monday that the reform would speed up asylum procedures and improve living conditions for refugees entitled to stay in France. At the same time, the government would seek to accelerate deportations for those who did not qualify for asylum.

Mr Collomb suggested that France was on the verge of a big influx of migrants, telling RTL radio that the situation in Paris was “explosive”.

“In Germany, about 300,000 people have been denied asylum, they want to come to France. Are we taking them all? No, because otherwise we would have to build a city like Lyon,” said Mr Collomb, the long-time mayor of France’s second city.

CFDT, France’s largest trade union, said the policy raised questions over the “unconditional housing of persons in distress” and would fuel “brutality” towards migrants.

Dominique Reynie, head of Fondapol, a Paris-based centre-right think-tank, suggested that Mr Macron, who defeated anti-immigration National Front candidate Marine Le Pen in May’s presidential election, was obliged to put forward a strategy to deal with migration.

“We have reached a point where this issue must be addressed because public opinion including leftwing voters generally view immigration as a threat,” Mr Reynie says. “Even Mr Macron cannot not follow a tougher line.”

Nearly two-thirds of EU citizens say immigration has a negative impact on their countries, according to a Fondapol survey released last month. The share is 60 per cent in France and 51 per cent in Germany. While two-thirds of Europeans polled said it was a duty to rescue refugees, 54 per cent said their countries could not afford to take more of them.

BHP set to leave World Coal Association, threatens Minerals Council withdrawal

The company said it is also considering its future as part of the US Chamber of Commerce, again with a decision due by the end of March.

BHP’s Industry association review [Hypocrisy Warning] published today confirms that BHP Management are attempting an impressive double:

    1) Olympic-class virtue signalling via its unwavering endorsement of the Paris Agreement and the IPCC as the one true faith: and

    2) – Maintaining and continuing to exploit one of the world’s largest fossil fuel portfolios apparently offset by “the design and implementation of an effective position on, and response to, climate change.”

BHP has shit-canned the WCA, and threatened the MCA, for being somewhat unsound on the BHP mantra: “energy markets hould be both fuel and technology neutral, and should not artificially favour one type of technology over another.”

The US Chamber of Commerce on the other hand, explicitly calls bullshit on the IPCC, the Paris Agreement and any attempt to put a price on carbon, or otherwise inhibit the US use of coal.
Strange that BHP is wrestling with the decision on that particular membership.

Europe’s migrants are here to stay
It’s time to start crafting our policies accordingly.

By Dimitris Avramopoulos, European commissioner for migration, home affairs and citizenship.

It’s time to face the truth. We cannot and will never be able to stop migration.

Migration is our new reality. The time has come to start thinking, talking and acting about migration in a more comprehensive and long-term way, putting in place policies aimed at promoting integration and inclusion.

It is foolish to think that migration will disappear if one adopts harsh language. It is naïve to think that our societies will remain homogenous and migration-free if one erects fences. It is unwise to think that migration will remain on the other side of the Mediterranean, if one only shows solidarity in financial terms.

At the end of the day, we all need to be ready to accept migration, mobility and diversity as the new norm and tailor our policies accordingly. The only way to make our asylum and migration policies future-proof, is to collectively change our way of thinking first.

Muslim Women Cause Havoc at Swimming Pool, Threaten Employees

Staff at a swimming pool in Hanover, Germany, have faced threats after telling Muslim women not to wear jeans or street clothes in the pool, dye their hair, or leave large amounts of rubbish in the pool during Friday “women’s days”.
The staff claim to have received threats from the male relatives of the Muslim women according to leaked confidential documents from a city committee meeting. The city spokesman Ulrike Serbent confirmed the women who were causing the problems were Muslims, Die Welt reports.

“We wanted to avoid creating a xenophobic tone,” Serbent said, claiming that was the reason the problems were not publicised.

Sweden’s problem’s started when they abandoned the separation of church and state, it held together more or less for a few hundred years though most working Swedes literally spent most of their time in a drunken stupor (keeping your employees supplied with alcohol was a standard arrangement until the end of the 19th century) until that neglected peasant/ little better than serf class started moving to America enmasse.

Being a rich bourgeoisie was a sign that you had found favour with the Lord (portrait reverently to be hung in the local kyrka) and if you weren’t you weren’t.

Some time after the exodus began he king realised that there would be eventually no-one left unless living in Sweden was made a little more attractive for the common man, so there were reforms , democratic Sweden means a democratic church in that being a state church the Church of Sweden has gleefully adopted every new social fad approved by the Swedish government, with bells on; an incredible success as they are now down to five percent church goers.

Every thing wrong with modern main stream protestantism is dialled up to eleventy in the church of Sweden.

If the Swedish Prime Minister says church mininsters must perform same sex marriages or get out, then those really are the choices.

Nothing about the mess that is Sweden surprises me.

Why the U.S. should end low-skill immigration | Opinion

One South Carolina equipment company recently decided to replace* its native-born factory workers with Hispanic immigrants. As described by the researcher Laura Lopez-Sanders, the company instructed Hispanic supervisors to hire their co-ethnics for entry-level jobs and to advertise only in Spanish-language newspapers. This initiative, known in the firm as “the project,” successfully transformed a predominantly black labor force into an Hispanic one in a matter of months. Hispanics, the company believed, were simply better employees than blacks. They were more reliable, punctual, harder-working, and less likely to complain. In the company’s view, the best kind of Hispanic worker was an immigrant — especially an illegal immigrant.

The Lopez-Sanders study is part of a larger body of ethnographic research showing that American employers of low-skill workers overwhelmingly prefer Hispanic and Asian immigrants over native-born whites and blacks. As the evidence has accumulated, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed several lawsuits accusing businesses of systematically replacing natives with immigrant labor.

    * Think of this as a micro version of whole of country migrant population replacement.

The three great tragedies of Australia are going to be the endless immigration ponzi, high density living. Wong foisted on people who never wanted it and the destruction of our cheap energy advantage.

  225. Oh come on

Apparently Ashley Madison (the hookup website for people looking to have an affair) is still operating. How the hell did that execrable business survive the hack and mass data drop of its entire scummy client list?

The greenfilth are almost entirely an urban sub-species.

Which is ironic since it is they that want to destroy urbanisation via their loopy views. At the same time, they enjoy the fruits of urbanisation as they are usually wealthy. It is absolutely bizarre and a normal person would suspect something external to them is driving it – especially as they all seem to be in lockstep.

Belal Betka, a 25-year-old Sydney man, has become the first Australian-based person to be charged with foreign fighter links after returning from allegedly engaging in the Syrian conflict in 2015.

The NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team along with the Australian Federal Police arrested Betka at his Mount Lewis home, near Bankstown in Sydney’s west.

Betka has been charged with incursion into foreign countries to engage in hostile activities as well as enter/remain in declared area and dealing in proceeds of crime (money or property worth $1 million or more), offences which include a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Betka is due to appear before Bankstown Local Court this morning.

Police will allege Betka travelled to the Syrian conflict zone in March 2015 and returned to Australia in October 2015, where he has since been subject to police investigations.

Police confirmed yesterday afternoon the arrest formed part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering, which saw three arrests earlier this year.

During the arrests in October, the AFP seized $1.1 million in cash and arrested three people in dawn raids over an alleged Sydney money laundering syndicate suspected of funding terrorism.

From the Oz. He’s allowed back into the country?

And, reading the above posts, I think that boys should be made to read The Cat.

I was watching a short film on a Sudanese madrasa where was the only thing the boys ate was a porridge. If they try to run away they were put in leg chains.

Not allowed to go home until they had learnt the Quran by heart.

What a dreamy life Minnesota men lived before the fled to the west.

I’d add to that the sidelining of fathers, and the breakdown of the traditional family unit.

They also need challenges. And competition. Adventure and a bit of danger

Yes, and so much easier to facilitate if you have safe space.

Not sure if it applies to other Australian cities, but one of the the defining features of my Brisbane childhood was that there was so much safe space to explore, including bush land within the metropolitan area, where limits could be tested and expanded.

    Say goodbye to that Australia.

You really have it in for apartment living. See if you like these. I’m trying to get you interested in a better quality of life. 🙂

Strickly from an energy point of view it is hard to imagine how one would become so grossly overweight without being strapped onto a gurney and force fed 7even style.
I can only suppose the young person involved must ingest nutrients into every orifice on a half- hourly basis.
