So, not refugees. Like 99.99% of the illegal entrants. By definition, illegal entry negates any claim of residency. Don’t expect stupid leftards to comprende.

Many White British Children Hate Themselves and Their Culture

Some time ago I taught a group of 16-year-olds a unit titled “Equality and Diversity”. This unit is one of eight units students have to study in order to achieve their BTEC Health and Social Care Level 2 qualification. The class is very ‘vibrant’ with 95% of the students coming from a range of non-British backgrounds. These students know almost nothing of British history or of our rich cultural heritage.

I was about halfway through this lesson when an Afro-Caribbean student asked a rather interesting question. She wanted to know which ethnic group had contributed most to the British economy. She informed the class that she had recently read a newspaper article – a revelation to me as she is almost illiterate – about the benefits of Eastern European immigration. This gave rise to a lively debate about immigration; the ‘contributions’ to this debate were most revealing for those of us who are patriots. The general consensus was that British people were lazy, had no culture to speak of and were being kept in the lifestyle to which they had become accustomed because of the hard work of immigrants!

This is an attitude that I have come across many times during my career as a teacher. It is clear to me that many ethnic groups hold us in contempt and have very little respect for us as a people or for our culture and historic achievements. Maybe that is to be expected as the political elite who govern us also have no respect for our cultural heritage and denigrate our historical achievements at every opportunity. What was most painful for me about this lesson however was the fact that a young white English girl in the class – a rarity these days in my neck of the woods – stated quite boldly that:

White people are crap! They are useless at everything: sport, singing, fighting and style, let’s face it, black people are so much better than us.

This, I thought to myself, is the product of a multicultural curriculum: a young white girl robbed of her cultural framework and rich cultural heritage. Here is a young woman whose ancestors created the modern world sitting amongst a group of students whose ancestors have brought only crumbs to the table of civilisation; and she makes that kind of statement without blushing! This is a young white girl who has been dispossessed culturally, demographically and even robbed of any self-respect and national pride.

As previously stated I have seen this many times throughout my career and I know that other teachers have these experiences in their schools and colleges all over Britain. This is what the multiculturalists are doing to our children and it will only get worse as white children become even more of a minority in our schools. They will continue to develop a self-hatred and loathing of their society and they will eventually be marginalised and despised by the increasing hordes of arrogant immigrants who have nothing but contempt for who they are and what they are. We must stop this!

The ‘Oxbridge white bloke’s day is over at the BBC, says comedy controller

Launching a range of new diverse comedy programmes, with the centrepiece a celebration of the work of Sir Lenny Henry, the controller of BBC comedy commissioning Shane Allen has declared that the days of Oxbridge male dominance on his channels are long gone.

Reflecting on the approaching 50th anniversary of Monty Python, a product largely of graduates of Cambridge University, Mr Allen commented: “If you’re going to assemble a team now it’s not going to be six Oxbridge white blokes. It’s going to be a diverse range of people who reflect the modern world.”

No mention that they have to be funny.

The ACLU Retreats From Free Expression

The organization declares that speech it doesn’t like can ‘inflict serious harms’ and ‘impede progress.’

The American Civil Liberties Union has explicitly endorsed the view that free speech can harm “marginalized” groups by undermining their civil rights. “Speech that denigrates such groups can inflict serious harms and is intended to and often will impede progress toward equality,” the ACLU declares in new guidelines governing case selection and “Conflicts Between Competing Values or Priorities.”

Cardinal McCarrick, former archbishop of Washington D.C., has been removed from active ministry after a credible allegation of sexual abuse against a minor in the 1970s surfaced. There is speculation further allegations of misconduct may come to light, although statutes of limitations may mean the Cardinal never faces criminal charges. The Vatican was apparently warned about McCarrick’s proclivities prior to his appointment to the Washington see in 2000 but went ahead anyway.

Coal. Australia has oodles of the stuff and we waste heaps of it oxidising in dumps because there’s no rail capacity to sell the lower grades mined with the coking variety that is railed to port to be sent to Japan & China… I am told it is much more than the 160 years the Government says left and 500 years of brown coal…. That’s from known accessible resources and we have rudimentary knowledge of the resources/grades in Gallilee Basin and others in NT/SA.

I do know certain units appear in different places with the same signature bit different names, if my memory serves me correct the sandstone unit known as the Moolyember Member that out crops as flattish high ground in some of the synclines of the Rangals Coal Measures near Moranbah, Coppabella & Glenden reappears down in the southern Queensland as the Showground Formation and is even thought to outcrop in the Sydney Basin but I don’t think that has been proven yet. It is known the coal measure do plunge in places along the east coast kilometres underground where they are unable to be mined with present technology. A lot of measures are uneconomic to access hence remain undeveloped but Technology has come a long way and may be economic one day.

Herpes Viruses Linked To Alzheimer’s Disease In New Brain Research

It is the immune response to infection, not the infection itself. Keeping the immune cells in the brain “quiet”, not producing inflammation, is cardinal to protecting the aging brain. There are many ways to achieve that goal but removing viral particles from the brain is not one of those ways. Viruses love neurons as hiding places but if the neurons re-enter the cell cycle the virus can go on a replication rampage. Dying neurons can do that which is why shingles can emerge decades after infection.

There are so many purported linkages with neurodegeneration it is almost pointless worrying about what is in the news.

Use of Eurydice Dixon’s murder by ideologues to denigrate all men is reprehensible

    The Australian10:24AM June 22, 2018

    THE MOCKER

    @Oz_Mocker

What happened in the aftermath of the rape and murder of Victorian woman Eurydice Dixon last week is testament to the adage these crimes bring out the best and worst in people. Within hours police had arrested the alleged offender. On Monday night thousands of Melbournians gathered in a candlelight vigil at the scene of her death to honour the memory of the young woman most of them had never known.

Unfortunately it also gave rise to repugnant behaviour, as demonstrated by those who vandalised Eurydice’s makeshift memorial. Not quite as despicable, but still reprehensible, is the haste with which ideologues, opportunists, and those obsessed with self-promotion seized on the crime for their own agenda.

“If my daughter is ever murdered, I already know who is going to kill her. A man,” wrote Fairfax columnist Phil Barker this week. “The answer is, simply, there’s something profoundly wrong with men.” You may have read about Barker in this column before. Last year he declared he was on the “far left” as a result of writing about men’s issues, and said he was feeling “exultation and gloating” in the wake of the #MeToo movement. “Some innocent men are going to get shot in the head,” he observed dismissively. “So be it.” If we were to use Barker as the sole subject, then yes, we would definitely conclude there is something profoundly wrong with men.

“Perhaps any study of Western Civilisation could examine how and why violence against women is such an integral and accepted part of it,” tweeted ABC newsreader Juanita Phillips.

Never let it be said partiality and laughable false premises are impediments to the art of pious sneering. What does it say of her that she uses the murder of a young woman to make contemptuous remarks about the Ramsay Centre’s proposed funding of a degree in Western civilisation?

“Hey, nice guy,” wrote Fairfax columnist Clementine Ford this week in typical belligerent fashion, “What do you actually do to be this famed #notallman? Do you speak out against your friends and colleagues when they harass or abuse women?” This, from the same person who on ABC television last year shamelessly called Daily Telegraph columnist Miranda Devine a “c**t”?

“Do you insist on carrying 50 per cent of the domestic workload at home, and track whether or not this is actually happening,” she continued. “Do you do your equal share of the parenting?” How you can segue from the subject of murder to haranguing men for being remiss in housework or parenting I have no idea. But these crude browbeating tactics are effective. If a man does not acquiesce in ultra-feminist demands, he must be complicit in misogyny. You know, the ‘You are either with us or against us’ argument. In fairness I should point out #notallfeminists are like Ford.

Speaking on Tuesday, Victoria’s Police Minister Lisa Neville said there were “underlying issues” concerning men’s behaviour towards women that needed to be addressed. She is right. But on that note, did Neville ever protest her party’s treatment of her former Cabinet colleague and emergency services minister Jane Garrett? In her dealings with the militant United Firefighters Union, Garrett’s position was a difficult one given the perception that Premier Daniel Andrews was beholden to UFU secretary Peter Marshall. In 2016 Garrett alleged Marshall had “threatened to put an axe” through her head — a claim he strongly denied. She later resigned from Cabinet after it agreed to support the UFU’s move for more control over the Country Fire Authority.

Andrews later claimed he had not been aware of this allegation, despite a leaked memo from one his advisors concerning Marshall’s alleged behaviour. Just this week Andrews tweeted that the “culture of violence against women…has no place anywhere” and “men…need to change their behaviour”.

I saw thousands of people at Princes Park tonight, and I know each and every one of them were utterly determined to end a culture of violence against women.
    It has no place here.
    It has no place anywhere.
    — Daniel Andrews (@DanielAndrewsMP) June 18, 2018
Perhaps he could start by apologising to Garrett for not sooner acknowledging what was a serious allegation.

“Now is the time to stop making excuses for men, to stop saying boys will be boys,” wrote Fairfax columnist and University of Technology Sydney lecturer Jenna Price this week. “From this moment on, say boys must be decent human beings.” She is one of the many feminist commentators who conflate aberrant human behaviour with masculinity. Consider this for example.

“Some women have described this hateful male behaviour as ‘toxic masculinity’, but you won’t get out of it that easily with my permission,” wrote Price in 2016. “Toxic masculinity makes it sound like there is some other kind, along the lines of the ‘not all men’ argument.” If that is not a case of misandry I do not know what is. She is a co-founder of the movement ‘Destroy the Joint’, which calls for “gender equality” and “civil discourse”.

‘’This is about feminism, and this is about putting the idea out there that women need to be treated decently,’’ she said in 2012. Let’s compare Price’s principles with something she wrote about an incident involving then prime minister Kevin Rudd in 2009.

“Which brings me to the poor young poppet who was shouted at when Kevin Rudd allegedly lost his temper when he was not provided with the right food on a Royal Australian Air Force flight earlier this year,” she wrote. “Now hands up if you would like to have a sharp talking to the young flight attendant who burst into tears when the Prime Minister reprimanded her for not providing him with the right meal. For God’s sake woman, get a grip.”

Now hands up if you think Price is guilty of gross hypocrisy. The power imbalance between the country’s most powerful man and a 23-year-old female flight attendant is enormous, and Rudd’s behaviour was an act of bullying, not to mention an early indicator of the true Kevin. “I quite like the fact that he has chewed up countless members of staff during his time in office,” she wrote admiringly, which gives you an inkling into Price’s judgement.

To put her defence of Rudd in perspective: this purported feminist did not just make excuses for a powerful man abusing a woman for not serving a meal to his liking, but Price also used sexist language and stereotypes to denigrate the complainant. “I’d quite like to punish the person who thought it was worth distracting the nation’s collective consciousness with an anecdote about a weeping hostie,” she wrote. How does that sit alongside Price’s proclamation that “women need to be treated decently”?

Similarly, screenwriter, author and pompous moraliser Benjamin Law was his sanctimonious best this week. “If you’re a man who’s been tweeting #NotAllMen and whataboutery into women’s timelines this week, congratulations on not being a murderer and instead proving you’re a deadshit, well done,” he tweeted.

If you’re a man who’s been tweeting #NotAllMen and whataboutery into women’s timelines this week, congratulations on not being a murderer and instead proving you’re a deadshit, well done.
    — Benjamin Law (@mrbenjaminlaw) June 16, 2018
Let’s remind Law that in 2011 he, similar to Ford, publicly referred to Devine as a “snide c*** from hell”. Who was he labelling a “deadshit”?

On the subject of Eurydice’s murder, the founder and CEO of the Melbourne-based Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Kon Karapanagiotidis, tweeted his condemnation of “rape culture & patriarchal society”.

We should not be worried about what time women are walking alone, what they are wearing or how much they’ve drunk & instead be worried about the rape culture & patriarchal society that we have that raises & socialises men to think they are entitled to women’s bodies.
    — Kon Karapanagiotidis (@Kon__K) June 14, 2018

Aside from raising awareness about his organisation, he uses his Twitter account primarily for two reasons: first, to remind people he is a recipient of the Order of Australia who has six university degrees (including three masters); and secondly, to flaunt his feminist credentials by denouncing “traditional’’ masculinity.

Yet the normally long-winded and self-promoting Karapanagiotidis was uncharacteristically quiet two years ago when The Age detailed complaints by numerous former staff about bullying and a “toxic” work environment at the ASRC. Six of the seven directors quit in 2015; one of them successfully lodged a claim for stress and anxiety in the course of her employment. Four of the former directors co-signed a letter to the ASRC board which read in part “We are greatly concerned about our safety and wellbeing, and that of our staff, due to the unknown response from an increasingly volatile CEO.”

The ASRC board said in response that its own investigation found “no basis” to the claims, which Karapanagiotidis is understood to have denied. He did not respond to questions when The Age contacted him. But leaving aside whether or not the allegations had substance, it grates no end that a pompous windbag who incessantly demands men be accountable was silent when his behaviour was questioned.

By all means use Eurydice’s murder to denounce men who commit violence against women. But remember the #metoo movement is not all about you and your personal agendas. Using these tragedies to denigrate all men is a despicable distraction, regardless of whether it is for pushing a bigoted ideology, or for promoting your virtue. The louder you subject others to your vitriol, the more you invite scrutiny as to whether your own conduct is consistent with the standards you demand of others.

Better be well aware of what questions we ask, because demanding answers from our political class can now be considered a Hate Crime.

In Queensland, public disrespect for politicians is crushed under the Iron Heel of Parliament:

Last month, advertising consultant Dee Madigan commented with a retweet of a video snippet of parliamentary footage showing Mr Bleijie tearing up sheets of paper.

Her retweet included the comment: “Your taxes at work. A toddler tantrum for @JarrodBleijieMP.”

Ms Madigan refused to delete the retweet, despite repeated requests from the Opposition, the Clerk of Parliament and the Speaker’s office.

As a result, Ms Madigan has been referred to Parliament’s ethics committee.

As a Queensland resident I am obliged to note that Jarrod Bleijie (LNP) and Speaker Curtis Pitt (ALP) are simply splendid in every way, and devoutly hope that Mz Madigan receives condign punishment for her shocking lèse-majesté.

A SEEMINGLY routine call-out for firefighters to an inner Sydney unit has led to the discovery of $12 million worth of drugs.

Emergency crews attended the Redfern apartment after reports of smoke.

They found no fire but two glass baking trays with a substance on the stove and other drug paraphernalia.

Police dismantled the alleged lab and uncovered 25kg of drugs, believed to be liquid methylamphetamine and ephedrine, with an estimated street value of $12 million.

Nobody was inside the unit during the Thursday night call-out.

A crime scene was established at a nearby unit.

China’s booming electric vehicle market is about to run into a mountain of battery waste (Sep 17)

The average lifespan of a lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the dominant type in China’s electric vehicles, is around five years, according to Li Changdong, chairman of the Hunan-based Brunp group, China’s top electric car battery recycler in 2016 (link in Chinese). Most batteries installed on electric vehicles during the 2012 to 2014 period will be retired on a large scale (link in Chinese) around 2018, Li told the Beijing-based newspaper Economic Information Daily.

Dot, LiFePO4 batteries are great. Compared to Li-ion, relatively much safer, higher discharge rates, high re-charge rates without damage. Higher number of charge cycles. Unfortunately all that doen’t come for free. Energy density around 100 to 130 watt- hours/kg. Best Li-ion are up to about 240 watt hours/kg offset somewhat by the weight of active protection (supervisory electronics) and passive protection – measures to heat/cool cells and isolate them from each other so as not to get cascading failures. So about twice battery mass for given energy output (range).
BTW watched a video posted by The Chiefio this morning about Tesla cars. Cannot drive through puddles and for the supposed simplicity the motor has liquid cooling, as I believe do the batteries. So much for simplicity.

Is There Evidence of Racial Disparity in Police Use of Deadly Force? Analyses of Officer-Involved Fatal Shootings in 2015–2016

    Abstract

Is there evidence of a Black–White disparity in death by police gunfire in the United States? This is commonly answered by comparing the odds of being fatally shot for Blacks and Whites, with odds benchmarked against each group’s population proportion. However, adjusting for population values has questionable assumptions given the context of deadly force decisions. We benchmark 2 years of fatal shooting data on 16 crime rate estimates. When adjusting for crime, we find no systematic evidence of anti-Black disparities in fatal shootings, fatal shootings of unarmed citizens, or fatal shootings involving misidentification of harmless objects. Multiverse analyses showed only one significant anti-Black disparity of 144 possible tests. Exposure to police given crime rate differences likely accounts for the higher per capita rate of fatal police shootings for Blacks, at least when analyzing all shootings. For unarmed shootings or misidentification shootings, data are too uncertain to be conclusive.

    Emanuel’s live export licence suspended

    AAP
    6:14PM June 22, 2018

The Perth-based company behind the disastrous Awassi Express sheep shipment to the Middle East has had its live export licence suspended by the federal government.

The Department of Agriculture ordered Emanuel Exports on June 1 to “show cause” why it should hold an export licence, kicking off a criminal investigation into the August shipment, on which thousands of sheep died from heat stress. On Friday, the department said the export licence of “one company” had been suspended “pending a full review of the company’s response to a show cause notice”.

“The laws that regulate the export of livestock include strict requirements to ensure the health and welfare of animals,” the department said in a statement. “It is the responsibility of each exporter to ensure it meets those obligations. The department takes those responsibilities very seriously.”

The West Australian government is also investigating the possibility of laying criminal charges against Emanuel under the state’s animal welfare act. Earlier this week, state officials raided the company’s West Perth offices to secure documents – presumably the same export licence papers WA Agriculture Minister Alannah MacTiernan accused the federal government of refusing to provide.

In order to solve the problem, it must become intolerable… and any effective solution, no doubt, must come from within the black community itself. The prisons are full and it’s not stopping anything.

Anything? It’s preventing these violent scum from committing their crimes in the community. Keep building jails so the fkers are kept off the streets.

Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that winter is with us again and the skies are being filled with smoke from the few combustion heaters, wood burning stoves, coal fired heaters and garden burners still left in society. The problem is especially bad in large urban areas such as our cities and large towns.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to ban the use of all combustion stoves and heaters, all garden fire pits and heating implements in cities throughout Queensland. Anthony Albanese lays out his blueprint for government

    The Australian
    6:51PM June 22, 2018
    Save

    Geoff Chambers
    Canberra Bureau Chief
    @Chambersgc

Anthony Albanese has laid out his blueprint for government, calling on Labor to follow the lead of Bob Hawke and Paul Keating and engage with big business and repudiating Bill Shorten’s anti-business rhetoric.

Delivering the Whitlam oration tonight, Mr Albanese — a long-time leadership rival of Mr Shorten — said it was critical for a Labor government to engage with “unions, the business sector and civil society”.

Ahead of a showdown in the Senate next week on the government’s proposal to cut the corporate tax rate for all businesses from 30 to 25 per cent, Mr Albanese said ugly public battles between unions and business “saps national energy” and “gets you nowhere”.

In November last year, Mr Shorten was reported to have declared “war” on big businesses during an “unfriendly” lunch with the Business Council of Australia. Mr Shorten has led Labor’s campaign opposing company tax cuts for businesses with a turnover of more than $50 million.

In contrast to his leader, Mr Albanese said “our job is not to sow discord, it is to bring people together in the service of the national interest”.

“Labor doesn’t have to agree with business on issues such as company tax rates but we do have to engage constructively with business large and small,” Mr Albanese told supporters at the Shellharbour Club.

“We respect and celebrate the importance of individual enterprise and the efforts and importance of the business community.”

Under the agreed debt-relief plan, maturities on 96.6 billion euros ($112 billion) of loans Greece has received from its second bailout would be pushed out by 10 years. The extension will be accompanied by a 10-year grace period in interest and amortization payments on the same loans.

What’s the bet that Greece never pays back the EU?

The eurozone creditors also agreed to disburse 15 billion euros ($17.5 billion) to ease the country’s exit from its program. This would leave Greece with a hefty 24 billion euro safety cushion, officials said.

They give them more, safety you know, cushion and stuff. Not my money I suppose. Sucked in Mr German Hardworker. You know you won’t conquer Europe by throwing your life savings to the Greeks and falling down dead before retirement age. You know that don’t you.

Busted flush: Japan fans spark plumbing pinch in World Cup loo dash

TOKYO: Armchair Japan fans following their team’s 2-1 World Cup win over Colombia risked triggering a plumbing disaster of biblical proportions when millions rushed to the toilet at half-time.

It was a case of squeaky bum time when fans finally tore themselves away from the television earlier this week after a nail-biting first 45 minutes, with water use jumping 24 per cent in Tokyo during the break, the city’s waterworks bureau said on Friday (Jun 22).

“We presume it’s because a lot of people holding off on a trip to the bathroom all went at once,” an official told AFP.

“Water use can fluctuate, especially during football matches, which only have one break in the middle,” she added.

“It also can be affected by a period of time, excitement and other factors.”

Flushed with joy after watching Yuya Osako bag a second-half winner for Japan against 10-man Colombia in Russia on Tuesday, jubilant fans made another dash for the loo at the final whistle, causing another spike of 50 per cent in water use.

But the official revealed the Tokyo waterworks bureau had anticipated the stampede and adjusted the city’s supply and pressure accordingly in order to avoid catastrophe.

“We are ready to prepare for a stable water supply during the next match on Sunday,” she insisted, looking ahead to this weekend’s clash with Senegal.

A similar pattern of toilet use was noted across Japan as viewers remained glued to their screens for the match, broadcast live on prime time TV.

The viewing rate for the fixture also hit a yearly high of 48.7 per cent in Japan, surpassing the 33.9 per cent marked when Japanese figure skating hero Yuzuru Hanyu won Olympic gold in February.

South Sudan peace deal attempt fails

    Associated Press
    8:50PM June 22, 2018

The latest attempt at ending South Sudan’s civil war has failed as President Salva Kiir rejected working again with rival Riek Machar after their first face-to-face meeting in almost two years.

“This is simply because we have had enough of him,” government spokesman Michael Makuei said on Friday.

The rivals met this week in neighbouring Ethiopia on its prime minister’s invitation, shaking hands and being coaxed into an awkward embrace as they held direct talks.

They shook hands again as regional heads of state and government met to discuss the civil war.

But it became clear that while South Sudan’s government was open to having the opposition in the vice president’s role it would not accept Machar’s return to that post.

Machar fled the country after new fighting erupted in the capital, Juba, in July 2016, ending a brief attempt at peace in which he returned to his role as Kiir’s deputy.

Opposition spokesman Lam Paul Gabriel told The Associated Press “there was nothing agreed upon in the talks” but that the face-to-face meeting with South Sudan’s president was useful “because we are able to see violence in Salva’s eyes

They need Trump in South Sudan to broker peace.

South Sudan is a strong independent country that don’t need no peace broker.

Let them sort it out for themselves.
This also means we do not import any more refugees from over there either.

““Do you know what rebuilding and reviving [the island] means? We will give those who destroyed here this answer: You came here and destroyed it. The fact that you destroyed this place is like you shaved off our beards. But do not forget that we will rebuild and revive this place in such a way that the shaved beard will grow stronger and you will see it,” Erdoğan said, quoting Sokullu Mehmet Pasha who uttered those words over an Ottoman defeat in the Mediterranean.

“This will also bring about the socializing of our people, and history will be resurrected again,” he said.

    Observed at Woollies this evening:

Elderly woman being made to pack her own non-Woollies shopping bags. The guilded youth at the cash register piled the lot up and watched her do it.

Looking around, I noticed groceries being packed back into trolleys a la Aldi by shoppers who had clearly left their bags in the boot and refused to buy more of the rotten things.

I don’t say I approve of removing a service or an inexpensive harmless item, but this is the way it happens in the EU and has been for at least the last 20 years.

Life goes on, I can see old and young stuffing their own bags as the cashier handles the next customer.

Only diff. is that these shops are set up for it, with duplicate packing trays so that while the prev. customer is packing, the next customer’s item flow into an other bay.

Or in large places like Tesco and Auchan, (Auchan is the french equi. of woolies) you can’t move past until the prev. customer has finished packing. Mostly they just shove everything into the trolleys, to sort it out in the car park.

If he’s the liar party leader going into the next election, i reckon he’d romp it in.

Anthony Albanese has laid out his blueprint for government calling on Labor to follow the lead of Bob Hawke and Paul Keating and engage with big business, repudiating Bill Shorten’s anti-business crusade.
