    Sterling drops as Minister resigns

The GBP/USD has dropped sharply this morning after Brexit minister David Davis resigned from his position.

It comes just hours after PM Theresa May revealed her ‘soft Brexit’ plan which had initially buoyed the currency.

ILLEGAL ALIEN FINED $280 FOR KILLING FBI AGENT, FIRE MARSHAL

WASHINGTON – An illegal-alien motorist ran down an FBI agent and a fire marshal just outside the nation’s capital but got no jail time, did not have to appear for trial and was fined $280 for the “careless” driving.
Roberto Garza Palacios, 28, who arrived in the U.S. from Guatemala and overstayed his visa was found guilty of driving in a “careless and imprudent manner,” but without “gross deviation,” in a hearing in which he did not have to appear last month.

    Min,
In essence, I’d ask the Minister: Why is he tampering with our life-blood; trying to harness low-density, distributed energy which needs storage and redistribution when we have high density energy already stored and setup for distribution? It isnt possible to do as he plans without the cost continuing to rise. Finkel’s assertion that costs will go up then come down is based on projection of yet to be achieved technology in durability and efficiency. He also compares it to what we pay now, not what would be cheapest.

Quite so None. If the dill bothered to read a bit of what is going on, and had the wit to understand what his eyes see, he’d know the coach is only about 25 years old himself. He took the team to a popular attraction as some sort of team building outing. They left their bicycles at the entrance (against a built railing and stairway for tourists) and went in.

On the return walk they found their exit was blocked by fast rising water which forced them deeper in, to their current refuge. Evidently he has been central to their survival for 9 days in the dark before being found, keeping their discipline to preserve oxygen, to find clean water and so on. I saw interviews of the boys’ families days ago in which they spoke with high regard for the work he does with this team of 13-14 year olds and with affection for him.

feelthebern wants to beat him to a pulp. What new and damning information has he found, 5,000 miles away, of which the families are ignorant?

Hitler who called Himself a socialist and controlled the means of production, (just found no need to own it) put the state above the individual, disarmed his people, and typically blamed all others, especially jooos for his country’s problems, was a complete racist, a power hungry totalitarian, fought the conservative capitalist western countries, of course to the left, was only paying lip service to socialism.

They then spend hours doing great leaps of faith over logic and fact to come up with what they always come up with.
Hitler only paid lip service to socialism and did not adhere to the true tenants of Socialism at all.

    Yawn.

Socialism is never socialism once it’s failed.

Seeing that all attempts have been horrifying, murderous genocidal failures, we must come to the conclusion that Socialism has never been tried.

The difference between how Hitler saw his socialism compared to Marxist Socialism of Russia, was in the Nation state.

He knew, as everyone did back then that the Marxist socialist state, then and now, is about total global domination.
The world without borders controlled by one group of arseholes in the farmhouse.
He, as a left wing totalitarian dictator, wanted to be that guy, that arsehole, and yet other arseholes WITH THE SAME IDEA wanted to rule ze vorld as well.

Not rocket science here is it?

    Hitler was Left wing.
Unfortunately for Socialists he said it often, he said it loud, he proclaimed it at every opportunity, and like all of these totalitarian left wing control junkies, brought misery and death to millions.
How can they disassociate themselves from one so obviously socialist and who was so obviously evil?

One of the great propaganda feats in the History of the world.
The only difference between the global aspirations of Hitler and communist Russia at the time was that Hitler wanted himself to be the head arsehole.

But no, although Hitler controlled the means of production and was socialist in everything he did, he unlike the Russians , saw no need in owning it.
To the left, that last fact somehow can neutralise all the others, wipe all else out and make him a small government , low taxing, individual responsibility extremist.
An Anarchist is the extreme of the right.
Was Hitler an anarchist or did he believe in the big state, and that the big state was more important than the individual?

Written for those lefties who are reading this blog, apparently.
You know who you are .
    The Marxist lefty.
    The Jooo haters of today.
    The racists.
Those who believe in a socialist one world order.
Just as the socialist communists did, with their arseholes ruling.
Just as Hitler did, with his Lillie white arse ruling, not theirs.

Pretty amazing… two bullets from WW1 met mid air.

No, probably not. Note that only the bullet on the right has engraving from the rifling; the one on the left is unfired.

What is more likely is that the bullet on the right hit an unfired round (in a bandolier, ammo much or box), pretty much at the end of its energy (or else it would have ripped the left-hand bullet apart). In addition, were they in mid-trajectory, the rotational forces of both projectiles would have had to have been overcome.

In mid-flight they most likely would have torn each other apart or skipped off on an erratic trajectory.

The only verified case I’ve read of was that of a Welsh soldier who had an enemy bullet stopped by a cartridge he had in a bandolier; but in this event the enemy round pierced the brass cartridge case, not the projectile.

Must have still hurt like a bar steward!

John laws making hay with the recent murder of his children by the gun owner john Edwards and demanding, along with state labour and the usual odds and sods that all family members including wives current and ex be allowed to give their opinion.

The fact is the current system requires references, back-ground checks and police vetting. That this mongrel got a licence simply meant he had no criminal record and could supply references. Reports say he was initially refused a licence but then obtained one through a different club. I don’t understand that because the previous refusal would be on the books unless it was for a minor error in completing a form which often happens.

  37. Leigh Lowe

I have often read here the lamentations of those who say that Australia has become a soft nanny-state where we pack our children in cotton wool and are totally risk averse when it comes to physical activity.

On that soccer coach, wasn’t there news reports he ignored warnings about rainfall and went in anyway?

I am taking news reports with a grain of salt.
It became clear flicking channels last night that they were seething at being moved down the road and they had gone into “just make it up” mode.
    Two examples …
many outlets reporting “the strongest taken out first”, whilst Sky UK reporting “weakest brought out first”.
when four made it out, a lot of outlets starting saying that #5 and # 6 were on their way out. Utter bullshit, but they deduced that they were coming in pairs so why not just guess. No harm done, eh? Except if you are the parents of the kids listed as # 5 and #6.
As IT said, push the media into the cave, concrete up the mouth and let them eat each other alive.
Look, the coach may have made an error of judgement, but it is not a crucifixion offence in my view.

Libs push for State income tax

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is facing calls from within his party to give States the ability to raise their own income tax to help pay for new roads and services amid warnings that cities such as Perth face a “population shock”.

WA Liberal senator Dean Smith will join those ringing the alarm bell about the lack of planning for the expected surge in population levels, pointing out that Perth is predicted to more than double in size to 4.3 million residents by 2046.

He said he did not want to see Perth in a situation similar to Sydney and Melbourne, where huge spikes in population were placing a heavy toll on transport infrastructure and State services.

Senator Smith said Perth needed to increase spending on infrastructure over the next three decades from the current level of $4.4 billion to an eventual $9.4 billion a year. “West Australians need to grasp the fact that in 30 years time Perth will become a global city if current rates of population continue and this, in turn, will demand massive new infrastructure spending,” he said.

Of course, this would be in addition to Commonwealth income tax! What? You really think the Cwlth would voluntarily reduce its “take”? You’re dreamin’.

I would remind Frydenberg that the Prime Minister at that time therefore ordered a full audit of the records and internal processes at the BoM, but that Prime Minister was removed from office the next day. I would remind Frydenberg that the new Prime Minister immediately shut down the proposed audit (to “restore faith in our institutions”), so that the BoM continues to operate under a cloud of suspicion from the general population.
