Andrew Bolt and the anti-semitic left

At least for the present, being anti-Semitic is still counted as a negative. How long that will be, who can tell, but it is not hard to see that those days may be coming to an end, and if they do, this change will be led by the tribalist left-of-centre collectivists in our midst.

The worst racists are on the left as are the worst anti-Semites. See, for example, Jeremy Corbyn admits Labour has ‘real problem’ with antisemitism. And now this here in Oz from Andrew Bolt who has to deal with this:

Hand him a mirror. Crikey’s Bernard Keane makes up stuff to paint me as an anti-Semite who makes his “blood run cold”.

Yet Keane himself claims Israel is guilty of “murder of unarmed protesters” and “systemic illegalities” under “the Netanyahu regime” and its “apartheid system”. He also defends the boycott of Israel that I have damned as racist.

Jews should realise Keane’s attack on me is an attack on their ally. His claims to be horrified by an anti-Semitism he pretends to detect are a complete smokescreen.

It is the left who thinks in relation to groups and group identity. It is the conservative right who think in terms of individuals and personal responsibility. Here’s how it now goes even in America:

Nazi as you know is the short form for National Socialists. ICE agents are not the Gestapo. But if you like to think that way, you are not just deluded, but are utterly free of historical judgement and common sense.

My family on my mum’s side are J*wish. Yes, I am a J*w. Currently non-practicing, but it is my heritage. My maternal German-Jewish grandparents escaped Nazi Germany in time. Many of my family chose to stay, in denial about what was happening, they perished in concentration camps.

A rabid feminist, man hating, Muslim loving work colleague, told me that my grandparents were “lucky” to be “allowed” to enter the country and not put in a detention centre like “innocent Muslims”. WTF?!! Grrrrrr

The left doesn’t have historical judgement and common sense. Jesus was born to a J* family.

  5. .

A lot of them take the view Jesus was not a historical figure.

  6. stackja

Jesus was a historical figure. Denial isn’t common sense.

  7. Elle

Facts equal certainty. Jesus is a historical fact.

  8. It’s an odd inverted world. The victim industry tries hard to compare their sufferring to J*ws in the Holocaust, but J*ws aren’t allowed to be those kind of J*ws, especially Israeli J*ws. Now that J*ws have gone back to where they came from, they’re told they’re really ordinary Europeans, but even worse than the racist oppressive old white males.

The Left is in the process of redefining what is considered to be virtuous. Hell on earth will follow.

Hi Elle, I too am a J*w. I, and many other Australian J*ws, know (or should know) that the modern Australian left and cretins such as Keane, are not our friends. It always amuses me that scummy anti-Semitic Greens screech on about Donald Trump being an anti-Semite, a man who has a J*wish daughter and J*wish grandchildren and who has long been friendly to J*ws. You would think that if Trump was such an anti-Semite then he would have a big problem with his J*wish daughter and not be pictured holding hands with his J*wish granddaughter.

The modern left has become a cesspit of anti-Semitism, most of it masquerading as anti-Zionism. You see this filth regularly promulgated on the ABC……which our taxes pay for. A few weeks ago, when Israel bombed Gaza after Hamas had sent missiles into Southern Israel, the ABC was shrilling for Hamas. It was disgusting. What is happening with the British Labour party will happen here with the Australian Labor party. However we are not helped by our so called communal organisations which are infested with J*wish leftists.

“A rabid feminist, man hating, Muslim loving work colleague, told me that my grandparents were “lucky” to be “allowed” to enter the country and not put in a detention centre like “innocent Muslims”. WTF?!! Grrrrrr”

Yep, that’ the modern left trying to relativise everything and it is quite deliberate, to try and minimise Jewish suffering and to try and delegitimise the state of Israel. It is utterly obscene and it needs to be countered.

At the moment, the way the left frame their agenda is that they are not racists, because they just want to genocide all the ziionists, and that is political genocide, not racial genocide.

Once the colonialist homeland of ziiionism is cleansed and decolonialised and rewilded back to desert, then they can openly genocide the rest, even and especially the ones that fund and support and vote lefty causes.

In one way it makes life easier as I try to get to know new people and whether to keep them at arm’s length or not.

All I do is mention Israel.

    Never fails.

  14. Let’s think about what’s happened in the last few years.

The rabid post-modernist left was almost there, they had almost won everything they needed to in order to impose their irreversible One World government (effectively) New World Order.
They had gotten rid of Abbott in Australia and replaced him with a Globalist leftie, they had gotten rid of Harper in Canada and replaced him with the feminist Islamophile, they had a Globalist ally in Britain who was going to keep the Brexiteers at bay, and after 8 years of socialism in the USA, they were poised to continue for another 8 years with a compliant woman who would do anything the Gobalists wanted (so long as she got her 30 pieces of silver). Even little old New Zealand came into the fold with a socialist bitch of their own. Everything looked rosy.

Then it all went South. The Brexiteers won, Trump took power in the US and Trudeau is looking unlikely to keep the conservatives out next year in Canada. Not to mention the Easter Europeans making a lot more trouble than anticipated. Their momentum has been stopped and the future for the Globalists looks uncertain all of a sudden.
No wonder they’re so upset and becoming unhinged.

I fear however, that 8 years of Trump will not be enough. As soon as he goes, the rabid Globalists will continue on their relentless march.

  15. Elle

    Brilliantly articulated, Cassie!

  16. The Left is indeed a quite insane beast. Take for example that climate worriers (almost all of the Left) call sceptics ‘Deniers’, clearly referring to the atrocities of the Holocaust. Yet in the next instant they turn around and take a completely opposite stance when it comes to Israel.

What does the new nation state law of Israel state?

It is the conservative right who think in terms of individuals and personal responsibility.

I had to make myself a delicious cup of coffee so I could take a sip and then spit it out incredulously when reading this particular bit of nonsense. The whole issue in politics today is that there is no alternative to the collectivism of the left in the mainstream, least of all the religious and traditionalist collectivists of the conservative movement. On top of which, the conservatives have helped bring back some of the ugliest type of collectivism from the early 20th century.
I mean if you think Corbyn is vile, then I can only imagine what you must think of the “alt-right” who have helped bring “IQ”, “race” and “nationalism” back into mainstream political discourse and the hopeless conservatives helped them do it.
Conservatives are scornfully dismissive of anyone bringing concepts like “individual rights” or “rights protecting government” into political conversations, in fact even the “smartest” of conservative political commentators don’t know what these terms mean.

Conservatives are often more collectivist and further left on many issues today than even progressives, but they simply have insufficient understanding of even entry level political concepts to see this. I.e. conservatives are leftist collectivists who don’t understand it.

Politics today is a race to the bottom between the competent left of the progressive movement and the incompetent left of the conservative movement. What’s needed is an actual right wing, but a bunch of confused nationalists, religious creeps and political illiterates aren’t going to help in this regard. Only hinder. As they always have.

I’m really confused about all this lefty joo hate. I mean most jooz are lefties and nearly all the MSMedia that almost all on here love to criticise are owned by jooz and are pushing a lefty agenda.

Then you have Barbara Lernor Spectre’s comments about jooz being at the forefront of creating a multicultural world and George Soros with his lefty institutions pushing their socialist shit, another joo.

How is it that the left all hate the jooz when most of the jooz stand for the same things as they do? It really is all too confusing.

And when we label them all as lefties are we not grouping them?

Anti semites exist on both sides of politics, although they are slightly different. The right use the word globalist as an ephimism for J*ws.

  37. BorisG

nearly all the MSMedia that almost all on here love to criticise are owned by jooz and are pushing a lefty agenda.

This is an obvious anti Semitic slur. A textbook example.

  38. Gary

The right use the word globalist as an ephimism for J*ws.

Rubbish! All ant-globalist protests have been from socialist. Don’t conflate the concern about the direction of globalism for your own convenience.

  39. BorisG

Rubbish! All ant-globalist protests have been from socialist.

“Globalist” as Code Word for “J*w”

A noteworthy anti-Semitic theme in 2017 was the use of the term “globalist” as an anti-Semitic slur. Although the term is not inherently anti-Semitic, “globalist” is often used as a pejorative term for people whose interests in international commerce or finance ostensibly make them disloyal to the country in which they live, or who are willing to undermine the financial security of their neighbors in order to benefit transnational interests. Because of the long history of anti-Semitic associations of J*ws with money and commerce, and allegations that J*ws place their transnational ethnic affiliations ahead of the interests of their neighbors, these pejorative subtexts quickly take on anti-Semitic connotations when the term is applied to individual J*ws, groups of J*ws, or places where J*ws are known to live (i.e. “New York globalists”). Anti-Semites frequently use the term “Globalist” as a code word for J*ws.

Yes BorisG, but whilst traditionally and up until recently it was mainly used by the “far right”, it is also being used by the far left now.

Anti-Semites frequently use the term “Globalist” as a code word for J*ws.

Yes, and the far left are now using this code word.

Both the far left and the far right hate J*ws and you know what…they always have. Now the far left just try and mask their J*w hatred with “anti-Z**nist” rhetoric.

  41. BorisG

Both the far left and the far right hate J*ws and you know what…they always have.

Actually no. Historically anti-Semitism was endemic on the right (not just far right) as J*ws were perceived as anti-nationalist and anti- Christian, particularly in Europe. Communists and socialists had lots of J*ws among them and opposed anti-Semitism. But as J*ws got their state, the left began to hate their nationalism. The tables turned.

The far left also hate globalisation and often blame J*ws’s domination of global markets and media, and nationalist right have now joined in (see Howard Hill above).

  42. Bruce of Newcastle

Historically anti-Sem1tism was endemic on the right (not just far right) as J*ws were perceived as anti-nationalist and anti- Christian, particularly in Europe.

They didn’t know their Bibles. Romans 1:16 and Romans 9 come to mind.

Sadly what you say is true though. Orthodox Tsarist Russia was anti-Sem1tic already, and the Bolsheviks just continued the evils. But the Bolsheviks gave birth to our modern socialism, and hence the likes of Corbyn’s Labour Party. The alliance between the socialists and Islam has just magnified the foulness.

  43. NB

‘Gillian Triggs pontificating on the ABC’
It is weird about the ABC. Turn it on and all you get is pontificating leftism. It really is now just a left political propaganda outlet. Extraordinary really. I wonder why we put up with it?

  44. NB

Oh, and there is really no such thing as leftism any more. Instead the left is merely a shemozzle of oppositional claims, in the same way that their ‘critical theory’ is merely unalloyed criticism. Currently the left expresses itself as the nightmare of civilisation. The left is the shadow, dark, the gratuitous sand castle kicker. It has nothing to offer outside of mere destruction.
The alternative to leftism is not another statism, but libertarianism, or classical liberalism – doctrines of freedom, ideas that bring light to life.

  45. BorisG

Bruce, it was not just Tsarist Russia. It was common across Christian Europe and up until WWII. Take the Dreifus affair was a prime example of battle between antisemitic right and the left intelligentsia, which supported Dreifus. Endemic antosemitistm of German right also led to their alliance with the Nazis. even though the right detested the Nazis, they saw Bolsheviks as a bigger threat and accepted (or pretended to accept) the notion of world J*wish conspiracy.

Desperate trend-following overseas-media-watching Australian lefties have noticed that UK left is getting hammered over anti-semitism so they’re just getting their retaliation in early.

The media will give them an easy ride, nothing like what Corbynistas are getting. They haven’t got a clue. This stuff still gets a free pass in Australia.

  48. Mother Lode

I think it worth pointing out that opposition to Israel does not equate to anti-semitism – on the American left there are a lot of Iudaei who denigrate Israel.

The racism on the left tends to be of a patronising, demeaning sort. Like everything it must fit into a narrative of power. Black people are base, mentally feeble, and ruled so despotically by instincts and appetites that they will sooner attack their neighbour than ally with them against the common enemy. But they have a talent for music. Hispanics are simple minded but passionate – and comically superstitious.

They are victims. Victims of white people who, every lefty knows from experience, are supposed to be running the show.

The Iudaei arrived in America more as part of the European and Irish waves of migration. Not the Blacks in ships. Not the Hispanics who were at the edge of Mexico until the borders shifted around them and they were suddenly in the middle of American states.

Israel’s sin is having aligned itself with the US. It might be full of Iudaei but that is not the telling point. They echo American non-progressive thinking. They aim for strength. They don’t apologise for being there. Being in conflict with Muzzies isn’t even proof of their iniquity – Muzzies frequently attack each other, but they are both able to be victims if you assume their conflict was confected by America.

No doubt there is a lot of real racism on the left against the Iudaei – stuff they grew up with and they never rooted out because they were convinced from the age of 16 of their thoroughly unassailable virtue (they did not need to change as they were already perfect).

But the hatred of Israel is not based on race.

  49. Nerblnob

I think it worth pointing out that opposition to Israel does not equate to anti-semitism – on the American left there are a lot of Iudaei who denigrate Israel.

Well, there are Israelis in Israel who denigrate Israel.
They have an adversarial parliament system like we do, c/w all shades of political opinion.

But they don’t deny Israel’s right to exist and defend itself.

  50. Louis Hissink

It might make sense to categorise people in terms of utopianism.

Christians and Muslims believe in metaphysical utopia, or immortality in the hereafter.
Socialists, of all factions/sects, believe in physical utopia in the tomorrow but before death.
A small number are not utopians, but demographically quite irrelevant.
Not sure whether the Hindus and Buddhists are utopians, but a belief in the immortality of the soul suggests a similarity.

Fascinating watching the Utopian Wars. More popcorn please.

  51. Clam Chowdah

Conservatives are often more collectivist and further left…

    You are joking?

I’d say that there is a strain of authoritianism on the right, but they share that with the left.

  52. Clam Chowdah

I think it worth pointing out that opposition to Israel does not equate to anti-semitism – on the American left there are a lot of Iudaei who denigrate Israel.

Yes but much of that opposition aligns itself with groups who express the ugliest anti-semitism, originating within socialist workers movements in the UK, aligned with the systemic racism of the Soviet system and with fellow travellers within political Islam. Look at the behaviour of the UN in seeking to censure Israel while turning a blind eye to the excesses of those doing the censuring.

If the opposition to Israel wasn’t linked to behaviour revealing uglier motives then it would be a shield to criticism of the left but in fact the left is captured by a hatred of this religion that has roots going back centuries.

  53. Clam Chowdah

In other words, the left are bigots and hypocrites, especially when they seek to paint the entire right as sympathetic to racist views of a tiny extreme right minority. The bigotry of the left is far more widespread and indeed appears at time to be thoughtless and instinctive, and without repercussion.

Exactly. The “power spectrum” goes from Authoritarianism/Totalitarianism to Responsible Freedom (rule of law) to Anarchy.

  55. Tim Neilson

It was common across Christian Europe and up until WWII.

Only if by “Europe” you don’t mean to include Britain.

For example Disraeli was elected PM of Britain in the nineteenth century, as leader of the Conservatives, and the Isaacs brothers were Cabinet ministers before WWI.

It was particularly rare among Scottish and Northern Irish Protestants, which was one reason for the demographic makeup of traditionally Scottish university colleges (e.g. Balliol College at Oxford) and schools in Britain and here in Australia.

True, it was different in other places. E.g. Eamonn de Valera had to swear an oath in the Irish Parliament in the 1930’s that he had no dzhuish ancestry, or his political career would have been over. (They needn’t have worried – in 1945 as Ireland’s PM he signed a message of condolence to Germany on the death of Hitler.)

Andrew Bolt on what he thinks of the Press Council

CALLING THE COPS ON ME WON’T SHUT DOWN DOWN THIS DEBATE

I won’t let the Press Council silence me on mass immigration debate, writes Andrew Bolt

THE LEFT has again called in the speech cops to censor me, this time because I told the truth about mass immigration.

The Guardian Australia couldn’t be more excited: “The Australian Press Council has received an unspecified number of complaints about an article by Andrew Bolt that argues a ‘tidal wave’ of migrants are swamping Australia, forming enclaves and ‘changing our culture’.”

    Guys, don’t waste your breath.

The Press Council can go whistle. I do not recognise its moral right to shut down debate and will not co-operate with it. No official body should interfere in the exchange of opinions that distinguishes us from a tyranny or a flock of sheep.

Besides, the Press Council is in no shape to judge any conservative while its members include Carla McGrath, deputy chair of the GetUp!activist group, and Leftist Matthew Ricketson, a union representative who has recommended that a government-appointed body act as a censor of newspapers.

I’d never subject myself to that kind of jury, which also includes David Fagan, who once edited the only Murdoch daily newspaper without a single conservative columnist and who boasted last year: “I never published Bolt.”

I will not answer any question such a body puts to me, and will refuse to respect its usual request for proceedings to be treated confidentially, to allow it to do its intimidation in the dark.

It is time to fight the forces of shut-uppery that have stifled debates on exactly the issues that need them most.

This shutting down, whenever the Left is challenged, isn’t done just by our notorious thought police — by the Press Council, courts, and various human rights councils and tribunals that have persecuted cartoonists, students, bishops and conservatives for expressing their opinions.

There’s also the typically vile abuse by the Left’s winged monkeys on “social” media, flying in again in response to my latest article.

To sum up my actual arguments, now publicly damned (but not answered) by at least three Labor MPs: there is increasingly no “us”, thanks to mass immigration and the deliberate destruction of the symbols that once bound us as a people.

For instance, we now have councils that refuse to celebrate Australia Day. Our national flag no longer represents us all; most government buildings also fly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ones.

And now comes a massive flood of immigrants that has given us the fastest population growth of any Western nation — 242,000 foreigners, net, settling here in a single year.

All of this is turning immigration into colonisation.

In Lakemba, in Sydney, two-thirds of residents follow Islam.

In Box Hill, nearly half speak Chinese; in Springvale, a quarter speak Vietnamese; and in Caulfield North, 41 per cent are Jews.

Not all of these colonies should worry us. The more Jews the better.

But when more Muslims, for instance, volunteered to fight for the Islamic State than now serve in Australia’s army, we must ask whether we are accepting more migrants than we can assimilate.

Indeed, what’s left for them to assimilate to?

For serious people of the Left overseas, this is worth discussing.

David Goodhart, former editor of Prospect, warned in Britain’s Guardian that if immigrants no longer assimilated to a core culture, “it weakens the bonds of solidarity and in the long run erodes the ‘emotional citizenship’ required to sustain welfare states”.

But in the Guardian’s Australian outpost, Katherine Murphy just stuck her fingers in her ears in response to my article.

“Someone conjured up a tidal wave of immigrants in order to get people to take notice of him, and fight him,” she snapped, as if I’d simply imagined more migrants coming each year than the population of Hobart — and did it just to get attacked.

Still, Murphy’s response was mild compared with the more general hysteria and the ritual shut-up screams of “racist” — including from other journalists.

Crikey’s Bernard Keane even painted me as an anti-Semite — a sick joke from someone who derides Israel as an “apartheid system”, and backs the boycott of the Jewish state.

Keane sobbed that “to see Jews being singled out and criticised for forming ‘colonies’ and failing to integrate, in a mainstream media outlet, makes the blood run cold”.

In fact, I neither said nor believe that Jews do not integrate.

I say again: there is a trend in Australia to form ethnic and religious colonies, just when our sense of “us” is weakest.

In Box Hill, nearly half speak Chinese; in Springvale, a quarter speak Vietnamese; and in Caulfield North, 41 per cent are J*ws.

Not all of these colonies should worry us. The more J*ws the better.

Crikey’s Bernard Keane even painted me as an anti-S*mite — a sick joke from someone who derides Israel as an “apartheid system”, and backs the boycott of the J*wish state.

Keane sobbed that “to see J*ws being singled out and criticised for forming ‘colonies’ and failing to integrate, in a mainstream media outlet, makes the blood run cold”.

In fact, I neither said nor believe that J*ws do not integrate.

I say again: there is a trend in Australia to form ethnic and religious colonies, just when our sense of “us” is weakest.

I’d say that there is a strain of authoritianism on the right, but they share that with the left.

That makes them of the left. If both right and left are authoritarian then there’s no point in having the spectrum since you haven’t presented alternatives. Conservatives are authoritarians and collectivists and therefore leftists. They always have been. They aren’t “authoritarian arm of the right” as that makes no sense.

Exactly. The “power spectrum” goes from Authoritarianism/Totalitarianism to Responsible Freedom (rule of law) to Anarchy.

I think that’s a common misconception because authoritarianism/totalitarianism IS anarchy.
The alternative to this is freedom, which is a rights protecting government. That’s what a proper right wing position is. Conservatives don’t know anything about this.

Well, you’re are very Randian after all. Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

The more interesting policy debates are how much privatisation and subsidiarity can be implemented whilst still offering the night watchman framework.

    “you’re are…”

    More coffee required.

I also think that these awful, confused ramblings on immigration from Andrew Bolt are another perfect example of how totally collectivist conservatives are.

The right are collectivists rather than individualists (classic liberals)?

    Well that’s a new perspective.

  63. Iampeter

I’m trying to say “the right” is individualist and conservstives are collectivists and so not right wing.

Tim Nelson, your examples prove nothing. Disraeli was a Christian of J*wish descent. Anti semitism was commonplace in aristocratic elite, the backbone of the Tories at the time. There were significant pro-Nazi sentiments among British aristocracy even in 1930s. But it wasn’t uniform.

The origins of the right politics in the New world was different and hence it was not ansisemitic.
