Yeah, saw that. What a crock. His only mental health issue were his Islamic beliefs and correspondingly that we infidels are unworthy of life.
So you’re saying the one thing Tom is useful for at the Cat, the only reason anyone reads any of his posts… he’s actually pretty crap at it?
Thanks, Ian, at 10.49am. My point is that you can’t access Knight’s cartoons unless you’re on the staff — or have a subscription that allows you to access the digital edition of the paper.
I’ve done better.

Morrison: “Let the states set migrant intake.”
What a cloth eared idiot he is.
But, if this has happened, would it not be rank folly for it to be publicly admitted?
If, as I suspect is unlikely, there is a segment of the Umma that has integrated sufficiently to appreciate the society to which they are attached I can’t think they would want acknowledgement of cooperation admitted.
Nevertheless, I suspect that any cooperation that there has been has been one faction using the authorities against another faction, all in the service of their own, not Australia’s, Islamic objectives.
The latest press release from Victoria University just arrived. Shocking news: diabetes is homophobic.
I kid you not.

GAY MEN AND TYPE 2 DIABETES: WORLD DIABETES DAY, WEDNESDAY, 14 NOVEMBER, 2018
Victoria University researcher Edwin Pascoe has conducted Australia’s first study of gay men with type 2 diabetes and discovered that sexuality can impact diagnosis and treatment.
In 2016 Edwin conducted 250 online surveys followed by 12 interviews to identify areas that needed to be addressed when planning diabetes care for Australia’s gay men. “We know that when health-care targets the individual, we have better outcomes”, says Edwin Pascoe.
Creating an environment where people feel comfortable talking about their sexual orientation allows health practitioners to explore appropriate ways of addressing the patients’ diabetes needs.
The research, reveals some gay men are not getting the chance to explore their diabetes in context. While health-care professionals make a point of treating everyone ‘the same’ — this approach can become a barrier if some topics are avoided.
As registered nurse and credentialed diabetes educator in Victoria, Edwin noticed that gay men diagnosed with type 2 diabetes had factors known to reduce engagement in self-care.
The barriers:
Gay men experience greater levels of disordered eating than the general population, including Anorexia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorders (BED). Some short term studies looking at recovery from Anorexia Nervosa have shown an increase in central fat distribution which is associated with an increased risk of insulin resistance.
Stress and stress-related behaviours are uniquely expressed eg: increased rates of smoking in gay men is one example known to be associated with increased risk of diabetes and its complications.
Discrimination under Australian Law continues to cause stress eg: some religious health care services and schools are lawfully permitted to fire or expel anyone who does not follow their doctrines. In some states gay conversion (reparative therapy) is still legal despite the practice having been shown to cause significant psychological harm.
Reduced support structures in place eg: up to 24.4% of the general population lived alone during the 2016 Census but that rate is estimated to be higher for gay men especially as they age. Living alone is a risk factor for depressive symptoms which in turn are associated with poor diabetes control.
The research shows that in order to better serve gay men’s health, services and practitioners should develop an awareness of potential issues that could limit this group’s access to health care and then develop strategies in consultation. There is a need to continue research that intersects diabetes with all members of the LGBTQI community.

Which is why we should name it for what it is: Muslim violence.
Don’t let the left obfuscate with semantics.
Could never have happened of course unless Dutton’s department allowed 3rd world savages to immigrate.
They are still proud of their non-discriminatory immigration policy.
‘The latest press release from Victoria University just arrived. Shocking news: diabetes is homophobic.’
Does Victoria University still teach hairdressing?
They are still proud of their non-discriminatory immigration policy.
Precisely; there is no other politician whose actions so fall short of matching his rhetoric.
Do any of these time servers actually understand the Federation? So far we have had 200 years of the Commonwealth crowding out the States, aided and abetted at every turn by the High Court. The Commonwealth needs to get out of health and education completely and hand sufficient revenue raising powers back to the States to fund these public black holes. Unless SloMo is going to impose internal passports to cross State lines then immigration is a Commonwealth function, that like just about everything is being completely mismanaged.
Low grade crap. Specially the last sentence.

Last month one of my children was attacked by a stranger at dinner. For her sake, I was hoping to keep the incident private. It’s now being politicized by the Left. Here’s what happened
Scotland will be the first country in the world to ensure its education system recognises issues faced by the LGBTI community, ministers have announced.
Equalities campaigners hailed the move as a “monumental victory”, claiming the “destructive legacy” of Section 28 – which banned the promotion of homosexuality – had been ended.
Research by the Time for Inclusive education (Tie) campaign group found 90 per cent of LGBT people experienced homophobia, biphobia or transphobia at school.
As a result the Scottish Government will encourage schools to use a range of new teaching materials which highlight issues such as tackling homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, prejudice in relation to the LGBTI community and promoting awareness of the history of LGBTI equalities and movements.
The materials will be used in personal and social education as well as religious and moral education.
The Scottish Qualifications Authority will also develop course materials reflecting LGBTI issues for national qualifications such as National 5 and Higher in relevant subjects such as modern studies, history and English.
That means all pupils studying such qualifications will be taught from the materials because they could face questions in final exams.
Co-founder of the Tie campaign Jordan Daly said: “After three years of campaigning, we are delighted LGBTI inclusive education will now become a reality in Scotland’s state schools.
“This is a monumental victory for our campaign and a historic moment for our country.”
He spoke after Education Secretary John Swinney announced the Scottish Government will accept all 33 recommendations made by the LGBTI inclusive education working group.
This means all state schools will teach pupils of all ages about LGBTI equality, with the Government to fund training on this for teachers.

https://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/state-election/matthew-guys-power-station-promise-to-shore-up-supply-cut-energy-bills/news-story/73c50f7c748fbb45858fa90b9883d71b?fbclid=IwAR1sRMccJ58YRoqd0UbiivFARwGrcweorrgoAQO0MfQ2kbBu5nLBba8UF64
Matthew Guy has visited a pizza restaurant in Melbourne’s east where the power bill has doubled to $11,000 every 62 days to talk up the Coalition’s pledge to build a new power station in Victoria.
As the November 24 election campaign passes the halfway point, the Opposition Leader has committed to facilitating the construction of a new power station to put at least 500MW into the energy grid.
The plan would involve packaging up government services such as rail, hospitals and other major services and going to tender.
ENERGY COSTS BITE DEEPER INTO FAMILY INCOME
MELBOURNE FACTORY TURNS TO SOLAR
DANIEL ANDREWS VOWS HIGHER RENEWABLES TARGET
Mr Guy said modelling by Frontier Economics showed adding 500MW to the grid would save the average household $350 a year on their gas bill.
“There’s no doubt that Daniel Andrews has lost control of energy costs,” Mr Guy said, blaming Premier Daniel Andrews for the closure of the Latrobe Valley’s Hazelwood coal-fired power station, after the state government hiked coal royalties.
“His forced closure of Hazelwood has meant that power is now out of control, the power costs in Victoria, and government’s got to do something about it, not just be a spectator or cross their fingers or hope that in the next five or ten years it might come down, it won’t,” he said.
Mr Guy said a new Liberal-Nationals government would directly invest in a power generation system by bundling up state power contracts, and putting it out to tender in the first six months before choosing a successful bid.
Mr Guy said the Coalition expected the private sector to come back with a solution involving a mix of generation, most likely gas and solar.
Coalition energy spokesman David Southwick said the closure of Hazelwood had reduced Victoria’s power generation by 22 per cent and led to an 85 per cent increase in energy prices.
“Under Daniel Andrews, we are seeing closures of power stations. Under Matthew Guy we see a power station coming into the market, ensuring more supply and bringing down power prices for all Victorians,” Mr Southwick said.
Ivan Milich, who owns Bucatini Italian restaurant in Mitcham, in Melbourne’s east, said his business’s power bill had doubled over the last 12 months.
“We’ve gone up to an $11,000 bill of gas and electricity for 62 days, so that’s virtually doubled since this time last year,” Mr Milich said.
“My wife and I, we are both in our 60s, and my sons are working here.
“We are working seven days a week in order to offset some of the costs of the energy bills.
“We are fortunate we are now November, December. It gets a little bit busier so you can absorb some of those costs.
“In January, February, who knows, which means we have to let some staff go who are local people.”
The new power station would be big enough to supply the state’s hospitals and transport network, and power the equivalent of at least 350,000 homes, cutting family bills by an average of $355 a year.
The Herald Sun can reveal the radical plan would let a Guy government bulk buy enough energy from the new power station to run all of the state’s major public services.
“Building a new power station in Victoria will mean lower prices for the long-term, which is going to save households and businesses hundreds of dollars every year,” he said.
The winning bidder would have to build a power station capable of producing at least 500MW, and could sell excess power to the private market.
Victorian Opposition Leader Matthew Guy is looking to secure power supply and lower energy costs. Picture: Getty Images
It would need to be built with a “24/7” capacity to power up at short notice and boost supply security, meaning it is unlikely to be met by renewable sources alone.
While a station of that size is most likely to be gas fired, if the most cost-effective bid is for a large coal power station, it would be considered — with Mr Guy to declare that it is “up to the market to best determine the mode of generation”.
That is likely to put the Coalition at odds with green groups, which want non-renewable generation phased out to meet climate change targets, and with the Andrews Government, which last week announced a Renewable Energy Target of 50 per cent by 2030.
Mr Guy said the winning bid “will be determined by the lowest cost for electricity, subject to meeting tender requirements like security of supply”.
He also took a swipe at Labor and the Greens, saying “every time Daniel Andrews cuts a deal to appease the Greens, it means more taxes”.
Time for Inclusive Education (TIE)
5 point pledge
LEGISLATION
NEW legislation in the lifetime of this current parliamentary term, which outlines a requirement for all schools to be proactive in tackling homophobia, biphobia and transphobia through an inclusive educational approach. Legislation should act to underpin the major components of LGBT-inclusive education.
TEACHER TRAINING
The delivery of a teacher training programme which is free at the point of access and focuses specifically on LGBT issues, for teachers who are currently serving via Continuing Professional Development and student trainee teachers via Initial Teacher Education.
CURRICULAR INCLUSION
LGBT inclusion in individual subject areas, achieved via approved curricular guidance as well as mandated LGBT inclusive Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP) education. Such materials should be accessible for all schools, with a clear requirement of uptake.
RECORDING OF BULLYING
All schools and local authorities should record specific incidents of homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying – in accordance with existing guidance and expectations for the recording of bullying concerning other protected characteristics, such as race.
MONITORING
Monitor any steps that are taken with regards to LGBT inclusivity in schools. This should include the collection of evaluative data, as well as the addition of a specific LGBT indicator in the Education Scotland school inspections process, HGIOS4.
Brilliant. Just imagine Dan Andrews and his cabal of crazy commies setting Victoria’s immigration intake.
You need to read that account of the disgusting attack on Carlson’s daughter to understand the type of low-life scum Monty fraternises with ideologically and boasts about here.
Former Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp tweeted that there is an affidavit from a Florida campaign worker who states that he/she saw Broward County Elections staff filling out blank ballots!
Bombshell: numbers out of Fulton County, Georgia show that a vast amount of the provisional ballots submitted in the Democrat stronghold were rejected for being duplicate ballots.
A full 1,811 provisional ballots in Fulton County were duplicates (49 percent), and 1,556 of them (42 percent of the total provisionals) were rejected.
Three of the individuals were not citizens, 581 were not registered to vote, and 972 did not live in that county.
If these are “things”, can we please have nerdphobia, rangaphobia, zitphobia too?
The real phobia is being ignored at the students’ peril. Learningophobia.
Reminds of various past ideologies indoctrination. Schools are no longer safe.

Victoria’s Secret exec Apologizes for Comments About Not Casting Transgender Models
“It’s like, why doesn’t your show do this? Shouldn’t you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don’t think we should,” Razek said. “Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy. It’s a 42-minute entertainment special. That’s what it is.
In response to the backlash, Razek apologized for his remarks, admitting that they were “insensitive.”
“My remark regarding the inclusion of transgender models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show came across as insensitive. I apologize,” Razek said in a statement. “To be clear, we absolutely would cast a transgender model for the show. We’ve had transgender models come to castings… And like many others, they didn’t make it… But it was never about gender. I admire and respect their journey to embrace who they really are.”
Can they set the demography of the migrant intake too?
…
Morrison continues the bipartisan con, pretending to be tough on “Islamism” and “radicalisation.”
The perpetrator was, in fact, a garden variety Mohammedan who believed the same things other Muslims believe. He wasn’t “radical” or an “extremist.” He was a conventional, good Muslim.
This is the same old trick: pretend you’re being tough on a fantastically “extreme” phenomenon while – in actual fact – your real goal is to normalise Islam and unrestricted Islamic immigration.
The term useful idiots, comes to mind.
Sticking a bloke in a bikini and pretending he is a woman is about the biggest fantasy going around.
Homosexual lobbies continue their obsession with children. News at 11.
But here’s what I’d like to know: if Gaystapo school loiterers now demand Scottish children be taught about “safe” sodomy, shouldn’t Scottish girls also be taught to accept sodomy?
If not, why not?
No, that’s your wife.

Weak as piss.
How dhimmi is the gruinaid??
Dhimmi enough to reverse the religions when reporting on a Dr Who episode apparently.
So once again, the big bad is prejudice itself, here in the form of Prem’s tantrummy little brother Manish, who has spent too long “reading pamphlets and listening to angry men on the radio,” causing him to move into extremism. Unable to countenance his Hindu brother marrying a Muslim, he shoots the poor Holy Man due to bless the ceremony, sparking the fear of the phantom alien invasion that was never coming. Rather than sci-fi elements, it’s two family tragedies that ground the historical settings here. Prem couldn’t save Manish (or himself) from the turbulence of history, while Umbrine’s secrecy came simply from the trauma of being widowed on her wedding day.
And can we please have a moment to reflect on just how shit Dr Who has become.
Is “Dr Doesntmatter because its all about the “companions”” now.

The woman began screaming, alerting people nearby, who chased the offender up the stairs onto Newbridge Road, onto Terminus Street, and then a laneway onto George Street where they lost sight of him.
At least there is some good people willing to step in, shame they didnt catch the turd.
Right. He is one of us. He was a ‘good’ Muslim until he came here where he became ‘radicalised’.

That bloke who bailed up the teenage girl in the bar of the Golf Club, and called her a “hoar to her father” and a “xunt” is very fortunate indeed, that he merely had his membership revoked.
Plenty of blokes would have changed his life for him. Deservedly so.
They wouldn’t even have needed to be the girl’s father or brother to do it to him.
Nah it will be a man in the next movie, but they will cast Idris Elba.
Morrison’s government is still working diligently to jail Ben Roberts-Smith VC.
Ponder that.
No one has watched it since Tom Baker.
That’s 6’1″ – 6’4″ , skinny and dark skinned.
That’s Vietnamese & Arab both ruled out as suspects then.
That said internal passports would be required to cross LGA lines – to keep them in the region to which they are assigned, or European style registration of everybody of address with the local police, and monitoring they are still there.
There were cases in the late 50s and early 60s regarding assisted passage migrants (the ones who did 2 years of indentured work at C’wealth direction) that upheld the agreements of the time, and where magistrates ordered deportations even of stateless persons – they failed the white australia policy “dictation tests” (sorry can’t find link , but I found those details on a history site ) … How likely is the AAT or HC to uphold orders like these today ?

Where do they come from?
What are these strange ideas they follow?
Just bizarre.
Monty, just imagine you were in Tucker’s situation at the bar, how would you have reacted to that polite gay immigrant complimenting your daughter?
No. GWB could make an independent decision e.g. the ‘surge’ in Iraq which was against all advice but worked its arse off.
SloMo (supposedly) talks tough without changing a single thing. He reckons that “radicalised” Muslims are Australia’s biggest threat but continues to bring the fuckers here.
Feel free to fvck off to whatever Third World shytehole you like, then.
I’m amazed that charities that make it their business to give free food to whoever asks for it claim they don’t have enough funding.
If only voters had a clear political choice in the wake of events like Bourke Street. Sorry punters, just the UNiparty for you on election day.
That Antifa professor advocating violence is the last person who ought to do so.
Come the revolution, he’d be the first against the wall, and never had a chance of fighting off the party’s popular mobs.
Yeah that wasn’t good, assuming what Carlson said is true. No need for attacking the family, that is way beyond the boundary.
Tucker should have beaten that foul mouthed mincer to death.
No jury would convict.

It absolutely infuriates the state that people can have something that cannot be accessed.
Litsen, dickheads: we don’t need to ban encryption. We need to ban Muslim immigration.
Look on the bright side, Lysander. In the unlikely event something seriously suboptimal occurs you’ll be free of Monty forever.
Errm, no. More like 5’4″ to 5’7″
Are they going to ban firefox as it bans your history?
It won’t be long before low IQ Dutton proposes we ought to ban VPNs.
Lone wolves send themselves memos on WhatsApp?
as it scrambles your web history…
I hear they have offered the old bloke who died from Friday’s car troubles a State Funeral.
Grow up Australia. That is ridiculous.
Yeah that wasn’t good, assuming what Carlson said is true. No need for attacking the family, that is way beyond the boundary.
I forgot to mention,
it’s a completely random polite gay immigrant.
Definitely NOT Arky.
😁
Haha thanks Snoopy! As I said to the missus, if something does happen make sure you squeeze Qantas to their last cent!
I used to fly in one of these on a nearly weekly basis (in a former life/role). I was quite comfy on these because I could see and talk to the pilots.
Lots of talk Hillary is going to run again in 2020.
Man she must drink a lot.
Whoops! Wong link! One of these:

Er.. yeah… Metric should never have been introduced.
But what’s nine inches between friends anyway?
How long before SloMo visits a mosque to appease these fuckwits do your reckon?
Good point. If a bloke can identify himself as a chick, why shouldn’t we be able to identify others as whatever we like?
I identify Malcolm Turnbull as a turd.
Monty you didn’t answer the question.
Seven days, max.
There doesn’t seem to have been a Muslim chick had her headscarf tugged off yet.
I suppose this means someone is going to have to drop some bacon in front of a Mosque overnight tonight.
The “backlash” has to get underway pretty quickly, or it loses sting.
It’s a childish country.
I’ve mentioned many times the ever-escalating sooky-mawkishness in this country.
It absolutely infuriates the state that people can have something that cannot be accessed.
Litsen, dickheads: we don’t need to ban encryption. We need to ban Muslim immigration.
The whole idea of bringing in all these mussies is to get rid of our freedoms – they are only completing what our “Founding Fathers” started off – we could have had rights in our Constitution as in the USA, but they chose not to. We are “subjects” – never forget that.
Hannity from Friday with a good wrap of the Broward County Democrat voter fraud controversy
What would I have done? Probably not caused an altercation like that or told him to go back where he came from. Then again, I would have brought my son up not to throw wine at people either, so it wouldn’t have gotten to that point. There are non-aggressive ways to deal with such situations. There’s a reason places like that hire brawny security people.
Monty can’t help himself
We need to ban Muslim immigration.
Look if we are going to bring in more Muslims,
that’s fine.
If we are going to bring in Polite Gay Immigrants, that’s also fine.
The real problem is that these two things cannot peacefully coexist with Tall Buildings.
We need to seriously think about a
Tall Buildings Ban™.
What are the current odds of the Daniel Andrews’ Government being returned?
That’s a proggy for you! Hire someone else to do your work. Defending your family is not in his jib description and is above his pay grade. To say nothing of his competency.
Ooops, into moderation. Who knows why?
Test – Mohammedan
What are the current odds of the Daniel Andrews’ Government being returned?
100%
Even if the Libs get in, they’re just Labor in drag.
Test – sh1tholes
OK I give up.
100%.
It’s Victoria.
It’s a childish country.
I’ve mentioned many times the ever-escalating sooky-mawkishness in this country.
Because hugging, placing flowers and singing kumbyah is apparently all that stands between the great and good, and the ropes and lampposts so many of them deserve.
God forbid people should substitute “mu feelz” for sheeting home the blame to the swine who hide behind non discrimination and “compliance” as excuses to carry on demonstrability stupid migration policies.
An appe llant is repe llant to the Spaminator, Bear. And calling your ther apist won’t help either. Not even a gift of je wellery will sway it.
we need to reverse moslem immigration, not just ban it.
Err … thanks I guess calli. This one wasn’t even borderline by my standards.
Lysander, Qantas is by far the world’s safest airline.
The second-safest is Virgin Australia subsidiary Tiger Airways, because it has had staff of the Civil Aviation Authority crawling all over since its grounding after safety breaches in 2011.
(In my opinion, the least safe Australian airline is Qantas subsidiary Jetstar because CASA turned a blind eye to what many industry observers regarded as reckless safety breaches, mainly poor pilot training standards, during the same period).
Sit back, try to enjoy the flight and give us a full report on how you deal with your nervousness. Don’t worry — it’s very common. Every second person who isn’t flying once a week or more gets it.
No wonder you call yourself Confused Old Misfit.
Actually more like 120% (after all votes are counted)
It is Victoria.

Bear, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Bits of words. The Spaminator can’t differentiate. My post indicated three that, if spel led in full, will quarantine your post.

But what if the Transgender security guard is off post checking the unisex toilets security and signage?
What do you do then?
Started with Lady Diana Spenser’s funeral.
LOL – about 5,000 prople at the ODI in Tasmania, or half the crowd at the women’s soccer friendly. Keep up the great work Cricket Australia you’re killing it. Worth every cent.
Thanks Tom. A few pre-flight G&T’s will help!
Good to see m0nty try to rehabilitate his reputation. Not sure how long it lasts.
Winds of change blowing in on the Trumpnado.
Fracking is close to making America one of the world’s three biggest exporters of LNG.
Stalinism is close to making Australia build LNG import terminals.
Stratfor has a good bit on how Trump can get the godless commo revolutionaries of their euroweenie union to buy American LNG instead of Russian gas.
Comrades.
Good point. Disgraceful behaviour. He should have downed the wine then decked the xunt.
The Ipswich police shooting of the prisoner in hospital is being reported in a very low key manner. So far no real details or even comments whether there was another officer in the room with the female officer and arrested person / deceased. The prisoner was a tough looking guy with a bad criminal record.
You mean the wine wasn’t still inside the bottle?
Soft.
Fracking is close to making America one of the world’s three biggest exporters of LNG.

John is there any way we can start exporting Australia’s copious stockpiles of Wind Energy to the world?
Apparently it’s the next Big thing in Renewable Energy.
Is there a market?
Tell management and they kick him out, which is eventually what happened in Carlson’s case. I would have avoided the melee though, that didn’t accomplish anything.
My only confusion, Monty, is revolves around how such mean, filthy, low creatures such as you are tolerated in polite society.
There’s a reason places like that hire brawny security people.
Hmmm, doubt it. The Farmington Country Club is “membership by invitation only” type club. I doubt they employ any brawny security guards – it just doesn’t have that type of clientele or reputation. It isn’t some local bar. Carlson and his party were there for dinner.
What it does (did) have was a nasty loud-mouthed a/hole who thought using particularly foul language towards a young woman was ok, (particularly when referring to her father) but also asking whether she was his whore.
Frankly, I thought Carlson and his son acted with remarkable restraint.

Dude, you literally call yourself a misfit every time you post. You don’t get to run the snooty in-crowd civility line without being laughed at when you do that.
Monty never advanced beyond “mummy will fix it” did he?
Low energy.
Sad.
Rare picture of Monts in action at his last “bash the fash” event, 2018, colourized.
Anyone got a few of Monsts old “hit a hitler” posts handy?
George W Bush tossed the coin at the Eagles & Cowboys game.
He said that everything good about America could be seen in veterans.
I’m not sure what he meant, but it further confirmed that after Obama, GW Bush was the worst president in US history.

Know what else will help? Do some light pre-flight reading about aerodynamics. Seriously. I’ve never been a nervous flyer but if you read up about aerodynamics then you know why an aircraft can fly, an explanation for the various maneuvers an aircraft makes and an explanation for the assorted aircraft noises you may hear before/during flight.
Forewarned is fore-armed (in this case with knowledge).
Oh Look! Monty called some one a “Dude”! He’s soooo *with it*! F.O. fatboy and Pull your head out from between the cheeks of your fat arse! (Don’t forget to wash the SH1t from behind your ears.)
Zk2A: My opinion of Monty and his coreligionists has no lower limit! For too long their excesses have been allowed to pass unchallenged. That is part of what has brought us to our present condition.
Meh. The other guy says that’s not how it went down. And cell phone video of the incident supports the other guys version.
Monty, may I respectfully enquire whether you intend to homeschool your dear little ones? Is your oldest attending some kind of out-of-home care yet?
Thanks speedbox; sounds like a good idea whilst partaking in said G&T’s! (more likely beer but I’ve gotten used to saying G&Ts since I started reading Hendo :))
Either way, I will certainly do it!

1/2 – We are investigating an alleged assault on a gay latino immigrant committed by T. Carlson and/or members of his inner circle at a club in VA in Oct. It likely includes underage drinking in violation of VA law.
2/2 – We are attempting to locate additional witnesses and to identify those depicted in the video.
In particular, we need assistance identifying the balding man that grabs the man seated at the bar. We anticipate charges being filed. Anyone with knowledge, pls contact us.
Link to a portion of the incident:
Notice that continual transference of responsibility here? Gays aren’t responsible for their habits, no; their poor diabetes control is the fault of some school that fired his friend because he was openly promoting the Mardi Gras among students. The stress was that unbearable he constantly binged on profiteroles.
P.S. Notice the constant drumbeat now about schools having the discretion to fire teachers or expel students acting in a manner contrary to that school’s ethos. That is not going to go away.
Loathe as I am to give the Devil His Due and also to pontificate about a specific crowd control incident; The ways a confrontation like that can play out take many forms. To suggest that involving in-house folks is somehow Chickening Out is short sighted. Bar Staff likely have some situational awareness and for patrons to unilaterally take charge of a situation like that is a breach of hospitality etiquette. You also don’t know how far the other party is willing to escalate or what kind of fuse he is on. A quiet word with the bar staff is the correct first move unless you are prepared throw the coin, to go into full brawl mode. The VIP guest has everything to lose and the drunken yob everything to gain.

Morrison: “Let the states set migrant intake.”
Wait, as a first step, how about we let the ACT be first and they set their own migrant intake with no limits as an “experiament” you know, what could go wrong with that?
I hear there’s lots of homes there whose residents only are in town for various meetings, activities, parliament and the rest of the year – they are empty!
Perfect, they could share with new migrants on like a time share basis.
I believe those residences are paid for by taxpayers, so I say, let them be shared.
So an upstanding gay Latino, a veritable pillar of society, gets bashed by a family of drunken TrumpNazis in a country club. Then to add insult to injury his membership is cancelled.

Yes, its inconceivable to imagine anyone targeting a journalist or his family by vile thuggish tactics, right?
An hour and a half later, most everyone has left the offices for a pizza party. I am alone, like Cinderella after her sisters trotted off to the ball. My nose is running like a faucet, so I’m not too upset at missing the pizza. Besides, I’ve got work to do.
I go around the room licking doorknobs. They are filthy, no doubt, but there isn’t time to find a rag to spit on. If for some reason I don’t manage to get a pen from my mouth to Gary’s hands at the conference, I want to seed his office with germs, get as many of his people sick as I can, and hopefully one of them will infect the candidate. I lick office doorknobs, bathroom doorknobs. When that’s done, I start on the staplers, phones, and computer keyboards. Then I stand in the kitchen and lick the rims of all the clean coffee cups drying in the rack. I grab my coat and head out.
…
Fox News host Tucker Carlson was at his desk Wednesday evening, less than two hours before his 8 p.m. live show, when he suddenly started receiving multiple text messages.
There was some sort of commotion happening outside his home in Northwest D.C.
“I called my wife,” Carlson told The Washington Post in a phone interview. “She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming. … Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door.”
…
Scalise, who was at second base when the shooting started, was shot in the hip and tried to drag himself off the field. While the shooting was still going on, Rep. Mo Brooks used his belt as a tourniquet to help stop bleeding for a staffer who had been shot in the calf. After the shooting ended, Brooks and Rep. Brad Wenstrup—a podiatrist who also served with the Army’s 344th Combat Support Hospital—were able to assist Scalise.[28]
Several witnesses said their lives were saved by the presence of the Capitol Police, who were there because of Scalise’s position as the House Majority Whip. The Capitol Police immediately engaged Hodgkinson and kept him pinned down, preventing him from continuing to fire on the unarmed baseball players. Rep. Davis and Sen. Rand Paul separately said that if not for the presence of the officers, the incident “would have been a massacre.
Everyone kept a low profile during the Invictus games, with good reason. It is embarrassing to watch able bodied men compete in wheelchairs.
Which is why it is now unwatchable. What started out as potentially a great show about tribal dynamics degenerated into farce with women ‘bad-asses’ and tribal leaders.

The Journalist’s Creed
A quick perusal of the Journalists Creed or the Australian Journalists code of ethics reveals that the most important tenets involve professionalism, placing the public interest above self interest and a willingness to find the truth in the interests of the public.
There are plenty of examples of journalists forsaking these tenets, however, the most recent that I find worthy of comment is the Foley-Raper affair. It seems that despite a man in a position of power placing his hand in an inappropriate position, in front of a witness, the media are now switching to say that the whistleblower, David Elliott, should be the focus of our ire. The ALPBC view.
What we are not seeing is an examination of the incident and how it was covered up for 2 years. The questions that are not being asked are revealing. If Ashleigh Raper is a professional journalist, why did she think that news of this incident was not in the public interest? Does she always place her interests in front of her profession? Was it fair for her to ask the witness to remain silent? How did a political opponent of the perpetrator find out?
Why is the whistleblower being excoriated for acting in the public interest? He is a representative of the community and that’s his job (regardless of any personal gain). Why did no one in the Labor party expose this episode? Or did they place this in plain view conveniently?
Was this reported to the victim’s employer? If so, why was it not reported?
Journalists and media outlets report things without victim’s consent all the time, this should be no different.
It seems the criticism of David Elliot, is that he solely acted in self interest by exposing this at the expense of the victim. However, this requires one to expect that the only person in the unpleasant saga acting from a political motivation is David Elliott. No one is asking the other actors what their possible motivations might be?
Blaming the whistleblower and providing a free pass to the victim who covered for the perpetrator for 2 years, seems to be a case of false virtue. Without actually examining Ashleigh Raper’s political leanings and her honestly coming clean about all the reasons for covering this up, we cannot address how this situation happened and protect other journalists from the same fate.
Without a frank admission from Ashleigh Raper that she was not just protecting herself, she cannot remain a journalist. Indeed, it’s not clear at the moment, why the public should trust her not to act in her own interest in front of the public’s, regardless of anything she has to say.
FMD, the amount of people who dine out on what generations previous actually did is sickening.
