Beware the Yellow Vests, Green Shirts and Steel-Capped Boots

Guest post by Viv Forbes

For decades now we have watched Green-ants destroy Australia’s backbone industries.

Their incessant attacks on hydro-carbon energy have vandalised our electricity grid, destroyed heavy industry, inflated power costs and made blackouts inevitable.

The last coal-fired power station built in Eastern Australia, the small Kogan Creek generator in Queensland, is now 12 years old. It is urgent that we build new coal-fired power on established coalfields with nearby transmission lines.

However, Green dreamers posing as power engineers, their media lapdogs and spineless MPs support scarring the hills with wind towers, plastering the flatlands with solar panels, and wasting billions on spider-webs of new roads, transmission towers and power lines. Then when it becomes obvious that this ramshackle system will not produce reliable energy, they waste even more money on big lithium batteries, hydro pumped storage, diesel engines and power rationing (shorthand for rolling blackouts).

Parroting tired and discredited climate alarm theories, they oppose any expansion of coal power, gas exploration, coal mining, timber-getting, farming or fishing and continue to restrict grazing industries and oppose new hydro power. No industry has escaped their lethal green shackles. No one dares to mention nuclear power.

Their thoughtless interference in the management of regrowth in grasslands and forests has ensured destructive wildfires (and there will be more). Totally uninformed on what created Australia’s great grasslands and open forests, their policies are turning these into weed and pest-infested fire-prone wastelands.

The tragedy now facing towns, farmers, fish and wildlife along the Darling River is also a green disaster. They have wasted stored water on “environmental flows” and prevented more conservation of flood waters. The most significant weir on the Darling River, the Wentworth Weir, was built in 1929. And when the Menindee Lakes were filled, Greens squandered this water to the sea thus causing a water crisis for Broken Hill. All river life would benefit from more weirs and better management of the Darling River.

Greens also inflate our population by encouraging the entry of untrained and sometimes hostile “refugees”. Increased population needs more power, water, food and jobs. If they oppose expansion of reliable power and water they should also oppose immigration.

They debase our future workforce by churning out a flood of students whose heads are so filled with green ideology and hatred of human industry that they are useless in jobs requiring some knowledge of hard science, maths, engineering or trade skills. Too many end up serving in McDonalds, the Coffee Club or the Public Service.

For too long Australian assets have been sucked into this green sinkhole. It is time we let real foresters look after our forests, hydrologists look after our water supplies, businessmen run our industries and geologists and engineers look after minerals and energy.

Ordinary Aussies have put up with green fantasies for too long – greens should beware the rising anger of the yellow vests, green shirts and steel-capped boots. To download this report with all images.

Greens lie and are applauded by MSM.

  2. Filbert

    Viv is using common sense.
As opposed to the Greens mantra of Man Bad, Nature Good.
Give ’em a taste of the steel caps Viv!

  3. struth

Now Viv work out what is really going on.
The greens are too small in Australia to wield any sort of power without outside help.

They are just troops for the UN and global socialism.
How long is it really going to take before the average Joe works out what is going on, with Gutteres and Soros, and the likes of the Davos Cartel?

  4. JB of Sydney/Shanghai

It seems to me that Viv Forbes is one of the sanest men in Australia.

  5. struth

JB, of Sydney, I am not having a go just stating that until we recognise our enemy, you’ll have trouble defeating them.

When we look at agenda 30, and the hold the socialist UN has on Australia’s education system, it’s councils and government, and who government is really bending over for, we might be giving dumb pratts like de Natalia a little bit too much credit for being anything but the numpty he is.

  6. wal1957

I also note that Viv has used the correct term…blackouts, not ‘brownouts’ as the Victoriastan minister D’Ambrosio has stated.
Politicians are dumb. She probably (correctly) thinks that the general public are just as dumb as she is!

  7. max

struth your UN conspiracy theory is out of this world.

UN does not have any power to do anything — no taxing power no military just bunch of a toothless bureaucrats.

Our problem is here in Canberra

  8. Viva

I wonder how long it will take Joe Public to start regarding “load shedding” as normal

Human adaptive capacity can be a weakness as well as a strength

  9. Ƶĩppʯ (ȊꞪꞨV)

UN does not have any power to do anything — no taxing power no military just bunch of a toothless bureaucrats.

the UN and conspiring bits of filth in the west sign us up to treaties and other agreements which have force of law locally, all without any direct public approval or consultation.

insipid creep towards a global marxist government. one must always remember that socialism like islam is a globalist cult.

UN does not have any power to do anything — no taxing power no military just bunch of a toothless bureaucrats.

What you miss is that our own politicians are desperate for power but at the same time allergic to the slightest responsibility … But ta-da! the UN gives them a useful tool to expand their own power without making any decision of their own. They are doing what they want to do, but hey, the UN made me do it, big international treaty couldn’t possibly quibble with that.

Here’s another example of the same thing: God might be all powerful but it’s extremely rare that God ever intervenes directly in any social problem… and yet priests have in the past (and today in some countries) given themselves an awful lot of power in the name of God … because hey, God wants to all do this, and we couldn’t possible quibble with that.

Substitute out “Climate Change” instead of “God” and you get the same thing again.

It’s all about herding people, and creating justification for the use of power.

Canberra should be sacked and the ruins sewn with salt. The people should be sold into slavery. The lash would be the only way to get any productive work out of the shiny arsed bludgers.

  12. Dr Fred Lenin

Destroy all global socialis fascists cut off all taxpayers money from them ,every cent ,watch it go away ,you would never get these bastards spening their own money on their agenda . We could also limit donations to political parties and mobs like getup tp $10 per person or organisation per year ,breaches incur fines of 100 times the donation plus one year jail for every $1,000 involved ,with no remissions .

  13. Mark M

    Go figure!?!

President Trump tweets that it is freezing cold, and asks where is the global warming …

“In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded.
In coming days, expected to get even colder.
People can’t last outside even for minutes.
What the hell is going on with Global Waming?
Please come back fast, we need you!”

… and the low-info elitist numpties squeal that weather is not climate, and then they claim that the cold weather is proof of global warming …

Why [global warming] may be to blame for dangerous cold blanketing eastern U.S.

We used to always be able to rely on when the Liberal Party got back into power, the adults would be back in charge and therefore none of the policy lunacies would progress. Unfortunately our major parties are now ideologically aligned so the only difference is the pace of our slide.

    100%. Nothing more to add.

Well put Viv, pretty hard to dispute those facts too.

  17. Critical Mass

This is an excellent article by Viv Forbes. The problem with many true scientists and “deniers”, is that while they are very well informed, detailed and principled, they do not write well, and often go off on esoteric tangents which leave the interested lay reader with glazed eyes. By doing so they end up preaching to the converted.

Viv has a real gift for presenting knotty issues in a clear, structured and persuasive way.

The Greenlins and their passive faithful are no better than those with a blinkered, primitive and anthropocentric view of the universe – flat earthers, geocentrists and creationists. In fact they are worse, because Greenlins have more opportunity to look at data and evidence to discover how climates really work. Global climate change in itself is an absurd concept., since there is no such thing as one global climate.

It is pointless to try and convince global warmists with any evidence, logic or reason of the absurdity of their beliefs, since it is like a drug to them and they are addicted. Rather than succumb to a sense of futility, I have made a New Year’s resolution to challenge and unsettle a Greenlin at least once a month.

Oh for the halcyon days of yore when the Greens, and their antecedents, actually cared (or at least bothered to pretend to) about the carrying capacity of Australia and sustainable population levels.

Someone remind us whether this is the second or third year of very cold winters in the northern hemi. Two in a row could be accidental, three looks like a trend. There is also a lot of heavy scientific talk going around about an impending grand solar minimum.

Yeah – and that will be caused by the debil-debil gas CO2 (Western nations emissions only, of course)

The members of the power elite, enter into positions of societal prominence through educations obtained at one of 20 “super-elite” universities

The phrase “New World Order” has been around for over a century.
The Progressives in the USA and the Old Boy Network of Great Britain — the Round Table Network — were pushing for globalization before World War I. So were the liberal Social Gospel Protestant theologians, who saw this as an extension of the kingdom of God. The Versailles peace conference was their golden opportunity. The League of Nations was the incarnation of their vision. This would be a New World Order.
This week, I came across a book by Samuel Batten, The New World Order. It was published in 1919. It was a defense of the post-War globalism. It was written from the perspective of the Protestant Social Gospel.

    THE POWER ELITE
What do I mean by the power elite? The phrase was coined by Leftist sociologist C. Wright Mills in 1956. His book remains a classic. Its main chapter is here. Liberal columnist Richard Rovere in 1956 called it the American Establishment. Conservatives refer to it as the Insiders or the Conspiracy. David Rothkopf, writing from inside, calls them the superclass. Sometimes they are called the PTB: the Powers that Be. I think conservative journalist and historian Otto Scott said it best: the behind-the-scenes fellows who are too clever by half.
Who are they? They are men of influence and wealth who gain a lock on this wealth through political power. They use economic leverage — debt — recklessly because they can protect themselves from losses by means of political leverage: government bailouts. Some of them lose, but as a class they do not.
The key to their economic position is their unseen political manipulation. They are the masters of backroom politics. Theirs is not the backroom politics of the old big city political bosses, who were their class enemies, and whom they had generally replaced by the late 1950s.
