BAHHHH !!!… the Oz suggested Peterson was on tonight ..I thought it was next week … well I am not sure that a bunch of druggos whingeing will be worthy of wasting moments of my limited life on… Although I stand by my earlier guess that Snowcone will ring in sick rather than front Jordan Peterson

  20. Although I stand by my earlier guess that Snowcone will ring in sick rather than front Jordan Peterson

  21. Snoopy

How come Michael Coutts-Trotter didn’t get a gig?

  22. Davey Boy

As has been pointed out elsewhere (& I know this for next week) the ABC Q&A site singles out JP to make him look like a miserable sod. So ABCeee of them.

  30. The BigBlueCat

Nice moonlit night tonight … pity to spoil it with Q&A ….

  31. Davey Boy

The audience lighting should be blue, just like the lighting in the Macca’s toilets in the CBD – moodlighting

  32. The BigBlueCat

Hey knucklehead … pill testing won’t stop overdoeses!

  33. RobK

    Looking like a circle jerk.

  34. Dave the junkies friend likes pill testing, he hates political objections to getting ripped.

  35. Davey Boy

Audeience member – Politicians and Police Commissioners aren’t listening to the PeePole
Beardy Caldicaott – the science is settled! Scientific evidence of deaths will prove pill testing is needed!

  36. Adriana, the ex junkie thinkss its a crock of shyte.

Ex-afp likes pill testing, how about not dumping that shyte in your body

  37. RobK

Pills are unregulated because……they are illegal.

  38. Davey Boy

Ms Redpath takes a contrary position?
Mick Palmer – the fix sorry the evidence is in – Geramny Austria, UK all the cuck countries do it. We are soft here in Aussie. People don’t know what they are taking – if we can improve the situation by telling pepole wat’s in drupgs we’d all be better off

  39. The BigBlueCat

So who carries the liability for pill testing when the pills tested “pass” ok, but people still die?

  40. Dave the junkie still likes drugs, except if his kids take it.

  42. Davey Boy

Audience member – Pill testing is not a silver bullet (no its a silver needle) we need a safety net
Anna’s dad – drugs are idiosyncratic – how will testing work? It won’t.
Beardy Caldicott I don’t agree but I won’t debate it. If we had a substance analysis we could have a “conversation” about taking the pill.
This sounds just like the Film Actors Guild “we use talk and reason to deal with dangerous people” although in this case it’s dealing with misguided people with no concept of risk analysis

  43. RobK

Will the pill poppers believe an adverse test after doing their dough?

  44. Beertruk

More drug dogs and more arrests .

  45. Davey Boy

Jauncey – let Doctors make the call – geez lady that’s the last thing we should do ,they interfere in to many areas already

  46. Davey Boy

Somehow Gay Marriage (TM) gets a guernsey. Wee need to consult with druggies (yeah that will work)

  47. Beertruk

Faaarrrrrrkkkk…nose ring girl and hippy boy who looks like his brain has been fried.

  48. Elle

I hope the Cat bong water is clean tonight.

  49. Audiene member is a drug advocate known to snowcone.

  50. RobK

Snowcone picks up on dopey having a voice after dopey criticises that dopeies dont have a voice. Rational druggies.

  51. Beertruk

If you want to stay safe, don’t take pills made in backyard labs. What a wanker.

  52. Davey Boy

Chief Wiggums – the weather lately caused a lot of hospitalisations at a recent festival we need to protect people from themselves.
Audience member who looks like the OneTel dude says ‘talk with harm minimisation people’
Chief Wiggums – Social Media is a bad influence (well duh) in that it promotes drug use
I wonder who uses social media

  53. egg_

Not at Q&A yet but can’t help observing that ABC is scraping the bottom of the barrel in 4 Corners with the spivvy Queenslanders who they are promoting as crusaders against Chinese property corruption

Not that Aunty is raaacist! about Chinese or Indian investors.
    Comrade.

  54. The BigBlueCat

    Is this audience stacked tonight?

  55. Davey Boy

Jauncey – we need to shift the conversation from criminalisation to educashun . Who controls the educashun these days, dear?

  56. Junkie advocate can’t eplain hoe a onufactured drug can’t be tested

  57. Peter Castieau

If it’s not too late, 53 please Carpe.

    Evening everyone.

  58. Davey Boy

Question from Marley – commercial pills are homo genous, home made pills are random
Beardy Caldicoot – yes this is part of the Conversashun we have, we tell people “probably you shouldn’t take drugs”
Redpath: (it’s good to see you back) don’t you hand the sample back?
Caldicoot: nope we don’t, we destroy the evidence I mean sample
Redpath: pill testing stops people becoming insane
Micky P pill testing is a medical intervention to improve the outcome

  59. RobK

No, i dont think its lime smoking.

  60. Serious cudos to the ex junkie – i was wrong and apologise to her in absentia

  61. Davey Boy

OneTel dude – we need to make taking pills as safe as possible – ok lets just ask the dealer for a MSDS then

  62. Elle

    I’m against illicit drug use.

Was illicit drug use dissected and discussed by adults when Woodstock was happening?

  63. egg_

lets just ask the dealer for a MSDS

    Winner!

  64. Davey Boy

Chief Wiggums – RBT and quit smoking campaigns worked, they are prohibition and legislation that have worked
Cue Groan from the audience who don’t like facts

  65. AFP – skewers the point of safe drug use , pro drug harpy like s herion.

    FMD

  66. Davey Boy

Tony Jonesy but but you turn a bind eye to heroin at safe injection rooms! gotcha!
Chief Wiggums I am not going to fixate on these rooms here – there is legislation that allows the use of the rooms
Jauncey – there’s a liitle biit of NSW where drugs are legal and the sky hasn’t fallen in – sounds like Incrementalism to me

  67. Beertruk

lets just ask the dealer for a MSDS

I had forgotten about MSDS sheets. Good point.

  68. Tweeny thinks the safe injecting room is great, not quite te case in Melbourneistan, where the junkies trade in the injecting room and still shoot up in the street

  69. Davey Boy

Jauncey – Goal and data driven is the way to go. Injecting rooms are a bit like Centrelink (my words) where you can get a range of services
Redpath – the locals cop the sh i t behaviour, and people are overdosing in their own homes anyway. What are the stats that show poepe get off drugs
Chauncey – yes I have a wonderful anecodte that proves my story. but I will pluck 13000 referrals out of the air to keep you hapy

  70. Chief Wiggum – 700 kg heroin

    8 tonne of meth

    FMD

  71. Davey Boy

Chief Superintendant looks like he is thinking wot a bunch of tossers we have here tonight. He deals with the frontline. 80% of population don’t use drugs (we look at their wee). Brings up prescription drugs problem.

  72. Davey Boy

Chiefy – 5 festivals with loss of life – pills taken before and on the way to festival – how do you fix that?
    Caldicoot – we educate
Chief – pill testing will give a false sense of security

  73. Elle

Chief Superintendant looks like he is thinking wot a bunch of tossers we have here tonight. He deals with the frontline
    Hear hear!

  74. Davey Boy

Audience member “won’t somebody think of the children”?

  75. Elle

Using illicit drugs is a personal choice.

  76. Peter Castieau

Pill testing is a complete abrogation of personal responsibility.

  77. Beertruk

“More compassion with how to deal with it?”
    Administer a bigger arse kicking.

  78. Davey Boy

Micky – let’s not demonise drugs & the poeple who take them!
Redpath – I am not opposing for the sake of it. I have lived with it and pepole affected
Audience OneTel Dude we’ve all used drugs but won’t admit it!
    Redpath: Education, Recovery

It’s the old battle for hearts and minds of our children, they all want to “educate” them

  79. Ex Junkie – i had to resuscitate a person, she demnds the audience junkie states his drug use – he declines.

    Pussy

  80. RobK

Ex junky is on the right track i think.

  81. Davey Boy

Chief – I have been in the field – Dubbo – baby bonus paid for transition from mryjane to herion for many families – we had to get rid of the grub suppliers first
Audience silence – You can tell they hate facts

  82. Davey Boy

demonstration of NT NBN via crappy video link question
    Rehab (“No, No, No”)

  83. AFP – they will put lamisol in cocaine, it will give you liver damage

  84. Davey Boy

Jauncey – it’s a lack of da funding I tells ya! More money for treatment, take some away from the criminal part!

  85. Elle

Pill testing won’t work. Just like the heroin injection rooms don’t work. It just advocates the use of an illicit substance that will destroy you, your family and innocent members of the community. Next? The worst drug of them all – ice?

  86. On to Portugal decriminalizing drugs, ex afp likes it

  87. Davey Boy

Audience – Portugal did it, why can’t we. Yay goes the audience
Micky they have decriminalised possession there. Evidence, evidence, evidence
we went to Iraq with less evidence than this (huh? Audence claps anyway). Compassion! Ineffective Law is a bad law.
(on that basis lets get rid of the HRC it’s proven to be useless)

  88. Elle

When the audience claps you know leftists are gathering.

  89. Pro junkie Dr like rugs – never saw that coming

  90. Davey Boy

Chauncey – there are alterniatives – by all means take away the drugs and give them infringement notices – a positive step
Redpath – as devils advocate – I had a boarder from Portugal – said there are people shooting up there everywhere – i.e. there are different
Bearded Caldicoot – Portgal has fewer drug deaths
Redpath – they have different drugs
Bearded Caldicoot – Rubbish! Nonsense!. UN Important Person will make Australia look foolish
    Audience LOVEs this last bit

  91. Beertruk

Soooo….the UN will now be telling countries what to run their drug laws.

  92. Davey Boy

Port Kembla – let’s have a “taking drugs” licence (a bit like a firearms license! Sure.)

that has to be one of the more imbecilic suggestions I have heard on Q&A

  93. Davey Boy

Mick Palmer: that suggestion is a loooooooooooooooooong way down the track

  94. Elle

It’s true; Drug Courts – diversionary programs – do exist.
They are opportunities that provide adult defendants, with substance abuse problems, opportunities to work towards rehabilitation as part of the bail process. Somewhat of a successful program, I have observed.

  95. RobK

So with a license, do you for go public health benefits?

  96. Davey Boy

Bearded Caldicoot – it’s just a matter of time, it’s inevitable. We need to have a more sophisitumcated conervsation with da Youff
Redpath – there are all sorts of addictions and regulation doesn’t work
Chauncey – regulation has taught us what not to do (who’s “us” hombre??) All I ask is a little bit of honesty and dignity and DA SCIENCE (none of which leftists actually believe in) and we will get there
Commish – Prescription Medicine is going wrong in USA. Do we want to go down that path? Fentanyl not yet here give it time

  97. fentanyl gets a gig , up the death toll by 25%

  98. RobK

Next weeks gonna be wall to wall interruptions.

  99. Davey Boy

Port Kembla video question – what we are doing now is not viable!
Were it the case that the ABC was “not viable”…

  100. That was the show that was, in trruptions came in at 13

    The areseless chaps jackpot.

  101. RobK

    Petersen and badham. That’s cruel.

  102. I am done Troops

    Oyasui Nasai

until next week – i thank you all

  103. Elle

Only 13? Wow! It felt like more.

    Thank you, Carpe.

    Night night

  104. RobK

    Like matter and anti-matter.

  105. Beertruk

Jordan V The Van Hanbag. Definitely going to watch that one.
    Thank you Carpe.

  106. RobK

This week was a better show than I expected.

  107. a reader

Next week is going to be fun…Jordan Peterson against pretty much all the things he rails against:
    *Toxic feminists (Van Badham)
*Transexual nonsense (the person formerly known as Malcolm)
    *Socialist crazies (Terri Butler).

I’m going for a record number of interruptions and the record number of clever, witty and relevant put downs.

  108. JohnJJJ

Did anyone bring up the liability of the event organisers? They control the site, they have the duty of care, their staff probably know the dealers, and they benefit from the drug gig – well all know it is a drug festival with music and lights to enhance the high.
Fine the event company for every single pill found on site and it would stop in a few months.
