How’s That Russia Collusion Thingy Going?

Remember how Trump apparently colluded with the ‘Russians’ to rig the 2016 US Presidential election – and how he is being ‘investigated’ for this apparent crime?

It’s ok, I almost forgot too.

Of course, none of Muller’s Russia ‘investigation’ has made any sense from the very beginning for the simple reasons that:

  • It is physically impossible for Russia to materially impact a US federal election.
  • If you were really going to have a crack at an election-rigging project by colluding with foreign nations, then you would at least get the Chinese on board and a few other disagreeable nations with some means of rigging production such as Germany, France and maybe even Canada (given its proximity – for example, I’m sure some extra ‘voters’ could have been shipped into Michigan).
  • Knowing the above, only a Grade-A moron who graduated from bovine university (seriously, some of them might as well be called that these days) would approach the Russians and say ‘I could do with a bit of election rigging today, how about you?’.
  • Trump won in a landslide. While there are numerous articles claiming that this is false, I’m going to go right on ahead and stick with landslide for the simple reason that Trump won 56.9% of the electoral college votes – and because this looks like pretty landslidish to me:

Needless to say, if it was actually possible to impact an election in any way by simply talking to some Russians, then Hillary and the Democrats would have done it a long time ago.

As for where things stand, I’ll hand it over to Sargon of Akkad to explain things further:

So how’s it all going?

    The coup’s still rolling along.

    Executions have not yet begun.

Dems will never accept HRC lost the election. The only thing they see ‘we was robbed’. Since Dems believe DT couldn’t have won by himself else must have done it

Multiple leaks suggested that Mueller’s report was about to come out in January February March. I guess that frightened the Democrat donkeys, since now Mueller has suddenly found a few more rocks to look under.

Robert Mueller pursues new Trump-Russia collusion leads despite talk of probe winding down (17 Mar)

Those pesky Wussians are so good at hiding that it’s almost like they don’t exist!

Seven Days in May is an interesting story. USA is seeing the Left trying the same plot.

It was brilliant the way Putin identified Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan as the three crucial states, and then cunningly arranged for Clinton to:
    (a) fail to set foot in Wisconsin for the whole 15 months and more of her primary/general campaign;
    (b) announce that she was going to be closing down a whole lot of coal mines in the USA (without explaining that she meant to exclude the vast coalfields of Pennsylvania); and
(c ) ignore the vast crowds flocking to hear Sarah Palin campaign for Trump in the last week of the campaign in Michigan (which was said to be an impregnable Democrat state but which Trump ended up winning by about 12,000 votes in a state of millions of voters).
If only there had been some way that Clinton could have known what was going on!

The Wussia hoax is indeed over.
If it was anybody else but Trump, the hoaxers would have won.
Trump, however, mercilessly went after everybody involved, including the corrupt special prosecutor himself and the Kremlin’s man in Congress – dossier shopper John McCain – as well. Trump planted in the public’s mind the truth about the whole thing; that it was a rigged, partisan frame-up.
It proves if you fight back remorselessly, make no apologies and take no prisoners, you’ll win.
This is the lesson the soon-to-be-annihilated Liberals refused to learn.

It always seemed to me that the Russians would have much preferred Hillary to have won.

She would happily surrender American interests to her own, her cupidity would make her ‘reliable’ from the Russian perspective, and her true lack of nous would mean they would have her over a barrel if she ever got obstreperous.

And they have a history with her – the Uranium One deal. All the Russians need do is leak details (or non-truths) which seemed to mesh with the overall story.

The progressives are a natural fit for the Russkies. The Russians want to expand their power around the world, while the US Left are inward looking and insular, interested only in exerting power over other Americans.

They believe they can stomp on businesses and the industrious and the money will just keep flooding in – and their strategic thinking is based on this, so they can be relied upon to steadily weaken America.

Trump is a problem for the Russian, and they know that openly fighting with him only bolsters his supporters, so they don’t.

But Hillary would have been the perfect tool: A saw for cutting America down, a screwdriver to pin it in place, and easily as dumb as a sack of hammers.

If you have any doubt that leftards are the stupidest people ever born, 80% of them still think Trump “colluded” with Wussia:

Every time respondents were asked about the investigation, about 8 in 10 Democrats said they thought the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, while 7 in 10 Republicans said they did not.

But the seri0us point is that they’re being trained to be stupid by the US news media (echoed by the Australian media) with 24/7 negative coverage of Trump.

Surprise, surprise. Trust in the media is now at historic lows:

When people were asked why they don’t trust the media, about 45 percent referred to things like inaccuracy, bias, “fake news,” and “alternative facts,” the latter two being common descriptions given by Donald Trump and members of his administration. A general lack of credibility and the fact that reports are “based on opinions or emotions” are two of the other reasons given for a loss of trust.

The media is simply no longer performing its historic role: being the public’s eyes and ears, reporting news according to a set of ethics. Especially in America, most of the news media — even its biggest names like the New York Times — now sees itself as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.

With no public trust and no remorse about its loss of trust, it has no future.

I liked Sargons review of grammar used in the Beasts review. Beast comes up with several conspiracy theories and then raises the questions: is this illegal? No the question to a hypothetical conspiracy should be ‘would’ this be illegal?

    1. Russia will interfere in other countries every chance they get. Mostly cyber.
    2. They’re not that good at it.
    3. It’s in Trump’s interests to let this run. Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake.

e.g. and possibly their most effective intervention in Western countries is to hamper the gas market.

Once upon a time, the NYT and Guardian could acknowledge this.

They also backed Occupy Wall St and constantly push a lot of other Lefty memes about how bad the USA is.

They intervene on all sides if they think it suits their self-interest.

They were definitely in favour of Trump over Hillary and sought to intervene in his favour.
So what? They’re at it all the time. It’s not a big story.

Other states try it too but Russia is probably most advanced at the cyber stuff.

Interesting reading, mostly about RT, which you’d think any fool could recognise as a propaganda outlet. But then how do you differentiate them these days?

  17. Nob

Russia and the USSR before it (and PRC now) always considered places like Australia as The West’s soft underbelly.

The incredulity of locals to believe that little old Australia was an espionage target persists.

Probably more Useful Idiots per capita than anywhere.

What about the news that’s dropped today about Christopher Steel cribbing stories from CNN’s iReport and including them in his ‘dossier’? What is iReport, you might ask. Let’s turn to Wikipedia:

iReport is CNN’s citizen journalism initiative that allows people from around the globe to contribute pictures and video of breaking news stories…it allows, and encourages, ordinary citizens to submit stories, photos and videos related to news of any sort. This can range from breaking news to a story that a person believes is newsworthy. Submissions are not edited, fact-checked, or screened before they post.

LOL so that’s where the Cohen in Prague, Moscow pee-gate bullshit came from – the feverish mind of some conspiracy theorist posting to some lame CNN blog.

Where is m0nty? Perhaps he’s died of embarrassment.

But you have got it all wrong! Trump did not do it all by himself. He indeed did have the help. And the leader of the pack helping him was no other than the bitch called Hillary Rodham Clinton.
We have a similar situation developing here. Billy Boy is going to win in the landslide. And the Liberal Party in collusion with the Nationals (they call themselves Coalition) are doing the very best to get him there.

No, the Cohen in Prague error came from (The Lovely) Nellie Ohr, former CIA contractor, employee of Fusion GPS and wife of DOJ attorney Bruce Ohr.
People like Nellie, known as 3rd party contractors, were given wide access to NSA data bases by the Obma Administration.
She admitted in her Congress testimony that she had researched travels of Trump people including his kids Don jnr and Ivanka. Obviously found one Michael Cohen traveling to Prague but didn’t check to see if it was THE Michael Cohen. (was another namesake who did the travel)

The NSA data base was used extensively by the Obama people to spy on Americans, including political opponents. The level of blackmail must have been stunning.
No wonder Mitt Romney rolled over so easily in 2012 and over 40 GOP members resigned from congress before the 2018 mid-terms. Imagine the dirt on all those scumbags.

USA is just one of many targets they do their astroturfing/trolling about. By the tone of the article and some of the recent meme examples they give from the troll farm, if Russia had ever bought Trump they are unhappy with the subsequent performance of their purchase.

    How clueless are they?
