Keep calm and carry on II

You read it here first:

So what should Morrison do? Well the last thing would be to threaten to sue either Aly or Ten.  Rather get an invite onto The Project and debate Aly.

That is exactly the correct thing to do and exactly what is happening tonight at 6.30.

Well done to both Waleed Aly and Scott Morrison.

If you can tune in and watch.

You’re a breath of air, Sinc – a calm and controlled voice amongst the hysterical madness. As is the NZ PM.
    Bless.

  2. Elle

    *breath of fresh air.
    Oy! Long day.

  3. egg_

He should’ve called a Press Conference and blasted the SOB, as Hawkie would have.

  4. Overburdened

    Smells like an inside job

  5. Scott Osmond

So, will slowmo be a punching bag or will he engage in a struggle session? He’s already excepted the nutter as a right winger instead of the ecofascist his manifesto describes himself as. What ever happens it will be cringeworthy.

  6. Shy Ted

I think the conversation went something like, “Hey, Scott, the boss wants to see you, 6.30pm, The Project. Don’t be late or there’ll be hell to pay”.

  7. Caveman

I give Scmo 8 out of 10 so far with squalid

  8. Elle

Is it a debate or interview? Waleed is not a good interviewer – appalling!

Why has our PM got a chair that puts him in a slouching position and Waleed in a straight back, upright position.

    Hmmm.

  9. Elle

    Or maybe it’s our PM’s girth 🤔

  10. Caveman

Chairs are the same Squalid is tightening his arse cheeks to keep upright…tricks of the trade

  11. stackja

Didn’t see or hear. What happened?

  12. Scotty

Why legitimise that sh1tstain Aly? He’s a pathetic grub.

  13. Dave in Marybrook

Christ Sinc, it’s bad enough you making us watch Q&A.
I’m not watching this panel pile-on- you know what will happen once his back is turned.

  14. Speedbox

OMG. Watching now. Morrison came in looking for a fireside chat. Tie off and slouching in a chair. Aly, tie on, sitting back straight is eating him alive.

If there was any hope, no matter how slim, that that Libs might be returned at the election or perhaps minimise the damage, that idea has been vaporised by a weak, wrong-footed PM who has been totally out maneuvered by Aly.

  15. Speedbox

    That was a blood bath.

  16. Speedbox

In the ad break, on comes Clive Palmer sprouting about Making Australia Great Again! FMD, you can’t make this stuff up.

  17. Overburdened

If reports are correct, the plan is coming along nicely.

SloMo knitted the kangaroo with Squalid?

SloMo knitted the kangaroo hijab with Squalid?

  20. Old School Conservative

    That interview never happened.
The Daily Mail said that Morrison was scared and withdrew from the confrontation.

    (sarc off)

  21. Speedbox

Morrison’s handlers must be cringing. Shorten and Co will be cock-a-hoop – they won’t be able to believe their luck.

Morrison looked anything but ‘Prime Ministerial’. Generally, he allowed, or didn’t stand firm against, Aly talking over the top of him; was badgered when he didn’t answer the question to Aly’s satisfaction; vacillated when he should have been firm; seemed to almost loose his composure over the issue of preferences…….it was a f*cking train wreck.

There is now no doubt, if there ever was any, that Shorten will be the next PM with everything that entails. Prepare yourself and your finances in the most appropriate manner relevant to your circumstances.

Sorry. Never watch the project. Their aim is to put people like me is a gulag or concentration camp. If morrison does this he needs to go hard. I cant stand aly. You need to do a bob hawke or john howard on the prick.

  23. wal1957

    Watch the project? Nah!

On the question of Scomo. It doesn’t matter what he does from here on in. He is a loser!
The Libs back down on anything these days.

  24. Lilliana

It’s official – morrison in an invertebrate.
Why did he ever agree to go on the show? I have no hope left. The thought of BS as PM is just too much – we are f…ing doomed.

  25. Seco

I’m sorry but who the hell is Wahleed Aly and why is Scott Morrison wasting his time talking to him. Wahleed is no victim, and as an influencer he should be ignored, there’s not too many average Joe’s out there who’ve sat at a table having their hand kissed by a PM but Aly had Turncoat falling all over him. Interesting that Sinclair thinks that Scott Morrison should do the same, sadly Scott Morrison agreed.

In short, what we’ve seen from the Liberal Party leadership in the last 5 years should have most Cats not voting for them until every last one of the current crop is gone.

  26. Snoopy

A lesson for Scott Morrison. Never take advice from an academic still carrying the torch for Turnbull.

Well done to both Waleed Aly and Scott Morrison.

So Sinc is gloating that he made a call which he thinks was the correct one, and that imbecile ScoMo agreed with him and decided to front up to the ALP operative with bylines.

How did it work out for ScoMo and the Liberals Sinc?
Don’t just leave it at this. You’ve watched it, now tell us what you think ScoMo achieved by taking your (good) advice.

    Waiting with bated breath.

People who think the media filter and its personality cult is a good forum for discussing series issues only have them selves to blame when things turn out how they want.

The selective dismissive attitude has been informative at least, Its shown the who the craven sycophants for what they are.

  29. A Lurker

Didn’t watch it because the outcome was entirely predictable.

The Liberals as a party are so gone that they are already being handed their hat and coat.
    Serves them right.

  30. Candy

At the heart of it lies Waleed’s hatred of conservatives and admiration for Malcolm Turnbull who he believed would weaken borders and increase Muslim immigration, which in time he would have if conservatives could have been eradicated from the LNP.
Thus the vile racist slur against PM Morrison. Turnbull and Aly – two progressive Green wealthy urbane gents with many views in common.

    Already done.
