Mueller, Mueller!

Donald Trump is easily the least corrupt person ever to reach high office anywhere. Two years of turning over every rock and nothing, not an indictable offence to be found. He is not a sinless man of no imperfections. But he has run as honest an administration as one is likely to find. First from Drudge.

    Victor Davis Hanson.
Good reading for background while you wait for the release of the full report.

  3. calli

The media will simply proceed to the next bullsh*t claim.

They are incapable of shame, having sold their integrity to Beelzebub long ago.

I wonder what it will be? Suggestions?

  4. Yohan

The wording of the special counsel scope memo says for Mueller to investigate all links and coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Notice the specific wording. It doesn’t say to investigate the links or coordination to interfere with the 2016 election.

    This was by design.

So when the report leaks, it will be laden with the 100’s of benign and insignificant interactions (which the Hillary campaign also would have had) but it will be spun as evidence of collusion, that just couldn’t be proven beyond doubt.

The perfect example of this was the book Collusion with Luke Harding. It just lists a 100 contacts with Russians and says it obvious Trump colluded.

So if you think the Mueller report will exonerate Trump, think again. Its a political report.

  5. Genghis

A’h yes no collusion with Donald BUT what about Hillary?

  6. REX

    Hi Aussies

Here’s a little nugget of gold that FakeNews won’t tell you.

    1. 1992 : Takedown of Gotti – DOJ prosecution led by? Robert Mueller. On his team was a talented young attorney called Rod Rosenstein.

Who was the Acting AG/AG 1990-3, overseeing this ? Why, one William Barr.

Who was one of the most valuable FBI informants? Donald J Trump. Yep, you did read that right. DJT had been working with the FBI since 1981 (see Nicky Scarfo).

    2. Here’s another gem – Buryakov case (2013/14)

FBI sting that lured Buryakov to the US, using a narrative that a wealthy US billionaire wanted to invest in a Moscow casino.

FBI used a US spy posing as a businessman (Felix Sater) & a ‘billionaire with casinos in Atlantic City’s (DJT) to show the crook around. Carter Page also involved.

    FBI Director? Robert Mueller.

    Connecting the dots?

These evil Obama/Clinton goons, expecting a Clinton win, framed well known FBI assets (Trump, Sater, Page) as agents of Putin. Doesn’t get any worse than that. And that’s only part of the scandal.

The Mueller SC was never about Trump.

Mueller, Rosenstein, Barr, Trump are all CONNECTED. Buckle up guys, all hell is about to break loose. Time for Trump’s counter-strike.

REX, I want to believe, but this whole thing about Mueller really working for Trump is boomer Qanon nonsense.

  8. Dr Fred Lenin

Heard the nine news a while ago the comment went ,”the mueller investigation into Russian involvement in 2016 election”,so there was Russian involvement in the election? After two years and $40 million spent nothing was found ,.the left hate to lose any lie will do .
Wonder what an investigation i to Russian involvement with obama and the clinton gang would reveal ?
The uranium deal for example ,did the clinton foundation get any donations from the Russians .?

  9. REX

    Yohan

Forget Q. This has nothing to do with Q.

You’re still wrong. Trump has worked with the FBI for a long time.

Everything posted above is true and backed up by evidence.

Dr Fred – Mueller will clear Trump. His indictments and referrals to SDNY all point to Clinton/Obama.

Huber is conducting FISA prosecutions with Horowitz (OIG).

Arkansas FBI/DOJ team is doing Clinton Foundation.

    This is all known.

    Stay well.

    REX

  10. Confused Old Misfit

If, as may well be the case, there is nothing in the report to impede or impeach Trump, will he use the IG Horowitz’s report to move against Clinton, McCabe, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, etc?

  11. Muddy

    REX.

It isn’t usually a good idea to post your email here. I’d email Sinc and ask to have it removed.

  12. Yohan

REX, the facts and history you stated could be true. I did not say it wasn’t. But that doesn’t mean that today, here and now, they were not trying to destroy Trump. Just because Trump helped them in a case 30 years ago doesn’t change that.

Every indictment that Mueller brought down was laden with implied words about collusion. Did you read the indictments? They were worded for maximum political damage. This was a hit job, spinning the insignificant and benign into grounds for if not impeachment, then never ending Democrat congressional investigations.

  13. Ƶĩppʯ (ȊꞪꞨV)

The idea that Russia with a bunch of Trolls would be able to swing millions of votes to game the election is about as credible as the bottom of the garden fairies.

  14. Bruce of Newcastle

Mueller, Rosenstein, Barr, Trump are all CONNECTED. Buckle up guys, all hell is about to break loose. Time for Trump’s counter-strike.

REX – Mueller, Rosenstein and Comey also are all good friends and Uranium One co-conspirators:

… who supervised the Russia investigation? Rod Rosenstein. Who was the FBI director when the Russia probe began in 2009? Robert Mueller. Who was running the FBI when the case ended with a whimper and an apparent cover-up? James Comey. How any of these people can participate with a straight face in an investigation into President Trump’s purportedly nefarious (but, as far as we know, nonexistent) relationship with the Russian regime is beyond me.

    Written 18 months ago.

  15. Mitchell Porter

My shortlist of the biggest losers:

Rachel Maddow. Made herself the face of Russiagate reporting. Effectively staked her professional reputation on it. It would be malignly interesting to know who persuaded to do this. Probably it included some people like…

John Schindler. Ex NSA counterintelligence. First came to my notice in 2013, defending NSA against Snowden. During the 2016 election, for a while he was equally contemptuous of Clinton and Trump, but at some point he switched over to Trump being a Russian asset, and he’s been promising doom for Trump ever since. Conduit for a briefly notorious quote by another ex intel person who said Trump “would die in prison”. Not a well-known name, but influential, e.g. is Twitter buddies with Fairfax’s Chris Zappone.

Adam Schiff. Democratic congressman for California. I know nothing about him but he always seems to take the lead among politicians in promoting Russiagate.

Rashida Tlaib, Palestinian-American lawyer, newly elected Democratic congresswoman for Michigan. Among the radical new cohort led by AOC, Tlaib was going to take the lead on impeaching Trump, in partnership with Democrat legal activist John Bonifaz.

  16. Bruce of Newcastle

My shortlist of the biggest losers:

    Mika too.

Mika Brzezinski Stunned as She Reads Off Teleprompter: ‘No More Indictments’ by Mueller

MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski was caught off guard Friday morning as she read the latest news on the Mueller investigation off the Teleprompter. Brzezinski could not control her shocked reaction as she read an ABC report that “no more indictments are coming from the special counsel.” Brzezinski’s eyes narrowed and blinked as a stunned look crossed her face while her voiced strained in pitch as she questioned what she was reading.

These people believe their own propaganda.

  17. FelixKruell

Might help to wait until you see what’s in the report before concluding anything about it? Or Trumps collusion (or lack thereof).

Donald Trump is easily the least corrupt person ever to reach high office anywhere.

Seriously? He’s facing pretty serious accusations of breaching the emoluments provisions of the constitution. He has more kinds of conflicts of interest than any recent US president. That’s before we get to the nepotism.

I notice the omission of the word “alleged” between “into” and “Russian.”
    Accidental omission?
I doubt it, given Channel Nine’s history of slandering President Trump, particularly by their chief U.S. reporter.

  19. Paulo Nigrum Anatis

A sham from start to finish, only a catalyst to keep Trumpsteria fuelled amongst the in denial rabble, and conveniently detracting from any successes Trump gained publicly with the oh so coincidental timely release of yet another unsubstantiated innuendo or unrelated (to Russia) prosecution from ‘the probe’.

Waiting with baited breath now to see the ‘solid evidence of collusion’ by ‘the 17 agencies’!

Problem is the next line of attack. The Left will troll through the evidence saying the inference is there, but Meuller just couldn’t get it to stand in court. They’ll follow the Goebbels mantras of “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it” and “the bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.” or more simply, if you throw enough mud for long enough, some will stick.

  22. Oh come on

    m0nty where art thou m0nty?

Actually, he has checked in today on the OT. He said ‘well let’s just wait for the report to come out’. Pretty funny considering he spent the last two years resolutely NOT waiting for the report to come out and instead making wild and lurid prognostications about what it might contain.

To be fair, though, what else could he say? He’s betted it all on Mueller turning up crimes that would lead to impeachment. He may as well ride that sucker all the way to the bottom. You never know – the report might contain absolute dynamite! (Despite all of the evidence today pointing to a massive Mueller anti-climax.) It’s m0nty’s last gasp.

  23. Arky

    A MAGAnificent fellow.

  24. Shy Ted

I think we can all agree I don’t know what I’m talking about but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the report, remembering that Trump met Mueller before the investigation, contains all that’s needed to immediately arrest and charge a lot of the deep staters for the various acts of skullduggery over the years. After all the FBI has a couple of runs on the board very recently such as the college bribery scandal. And DJT hasn’t really missed a beat in 2 years. And we may also find that Jeff Sessions had prepared a lot of ready-to-go lawsuits for the same. After all, that was his reputation.

  25. Bruce of Newcastle

I don’t mind if people jerk off to Trump.

Make sure you report yourself to a sheriff if you do that Arky.
    Dems are crazy.

  26. BorisG

We don’t yet know exactly what the report’s conclusions are. It appears likely there was no criminal collusion. Which is a good outcome and it does not make Muller or rosenshtein losers. They did their job and investigated what needed investigating, including uncovering a few criminals in the trump’s inner orbit and also finding criminal interference of the Russian state in the US elsection. They found no collusion? Tha is a good thing.

  27. BorisG

The idea that Russia with a bunch of Trolls would be able to swing millions of votes to game the election is about as credible as the bottom of the garden fairies.

Who said they were able to? They tried and have been indicted for that. Actually how many voters they reached isn’t known.

  28. dover_beach

    An indictment isn’t a conviction.

  29. Rob MW

    Collusion, where to start:

    • Uranium One – Clinton pay to play
    • $500,000.00 – Clinton pay to play speakeasy in Russia
    • British Government – Interference in the U.S 2016 election favoring Democrats
    • Australian Government – Interference in the U.S 2016 election favoring Democrats
    • Ukrainian Government – Interference in the U.S 2016 election favoring Democrats
    • Colluding U.S foreign agents – Fusion GPS, Democratic National Committee, Perkins Coie LLS & Clinton (Australia – Downer, Britain – Steele, Russia – Oligarchs and Ukrainian – SZRU)

The Clinton campaign, the DNC, Fusion GPS, the CIA, the FBI, the DoJ, the DNI and the Obama white house baited the hook and the MSN took the hook, the bait and the sinker. Trump won’t be President forever so the only question remaining; is Trump taking names ?

  30. BorisG

    An indictment isn’t a conviction.

So if they are innocent why don’t they come and submit themselves to a court of law?

Who you believe more: US intelligence or Putin?

If you believe Putin, do you also believe they did not use polonium or Nobichok in the UK? They also have not been convicted.

The UK Gaurdian newspaper organised an avalanche of emails from the UK to targeted USA voters to influence an US election. The hilarious responses were entertaining and the whole thing so ridiculous it gave every one a laugh.
Obviously some nut case thought they would try it on Trump. Beezelbub Blair has not been whispering in a gullible ear has he.

  33. tombell

In NYC at mo. A bit gloomy weather-wise outside. But..Rachel Maddow was almost in tears as she took time off from her vacation down south to file a “report”. A ray of sunshine! But… let’s wait for the report. I’d be amazed if there’s not something in it the Dems can latch onto. Other investigations are ongoing eg campaign finance violations. And it’s clear the Dems are cranking up for another two years of House investigations. Bad move politically – remember it’s what the GOP did to Bill Clinton and he was re-elected in a landslide. But the Dems are so invested in their memes about Trump they’d face a lynching from their “base” if they gave up now.

  34. Tom

We don’t yet know exactly what the report’s conclusions are.

Hahahaha! The denialism of the Cat’s lefties and trolls, like Boris, Monty and tgs, is hilarious. Only the most gullible are lefties, but that’s not enough. They insist on beclowning themselves because they’re convinced Trump is the embodiment of evil. The alphamale billionaire in the White House has made them lose their little beta minds.

Just thank your lucky stars you weren’t born into that bubble of eternal stupidity — or that you escaped from it.

  35. Up The Workers!

    Amateurs!

If the Left wanted to crucify Trump, they should have run their high-level investigation according to the methodology employed by Dodgy Dan’s Ashton’s Circus in potting Cardinal George Pell for child molestation.

First, you find yourself a hated victim you that want to convict, then you vilify him remorselessly in the biased leftard gutter-press even in the utter absence of any genuine complaints, victims, corroboration or evidence; then you advertise in the press for aspiring Jizzy Smellitts, Christine Blasey Fords, Stormy Daniels-type gillarders and compo-gougers to go into the tag-team play-offs for lead self-declared victim and fairy-tale spinner; then you arrange a swag of Trumped-up charges…and…

Oh…hang on a minute…it seems they did all that already.

  36. Empire 5:5

From a highly competitive field, the top ten propagandists for the disintegrating Muh Russia narrative:

CNN — CNN first reported that President Trump was briefed on the “pee dossier,” which prompted BuzzFeed to publish the dossier in full. CNN has also given vast amounts of airtime to analysts, former officials, and Democrat lawmakers pushing the Russia collusion narrative. It has also published a number of stories that advanced the narrative, including several that turned out to be false.

BuzzFeed — BuzzFeed first published the “pee dossier” in full — which released to the public unfounded accusations against President Trump, including the unverified claim that he hired prostitutes to urinate on a bed during a visit to Moscow in 2013. At the time of publish, the dossier remained “salacious and unverified,” in then-FBI Director James Comey’s own words.

The Washington Post — The Washington Post was on the forefront of publishing anonymously-sourced stories suggesting collusion between Russia and Trump campaign officials. It published the intelligence leak that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn discussed sanctions with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak that led to his firing later. Flynn ended up pleading guilty to one count of lying. There were no collusion charges.

The New York Times — The New York Times published a front-page, top-of-the-page story on Inauguration Day suggesting that President-elect Trump’s associates had been “wiretapped.” Though the report admitted, “It is not clear whether the intercepted communications had anything to do with Mr. Trump’s campaign, or Mr. Trump himself,” it set the very inauguration of President Trump as part of a Russian conspiracy.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) — Schiff, now the House Intelligence Committee chairman, has been the No. 1 pusher of the Russia collusion hoax in Congress. Absent any direct evidence of collusion, Schiff has argued for months that the evidence is “hiding in plain sight.” Schiff has also tried to fundraise off of the hoax.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) — Lieu has been a close second to Schiff’s promotion of the Russia hoax in Congress. He once called for a pause in the “entire Trump agenda” until an investigation into the collusion ties was completed.

Benjamin Wittes — Wittes, a journalist who is close to former FBI Director James Comey, was a lead inciter on Twitter of the Russia hoax, infamously tweeting cannon gifs every time a new sensational report came out that advanced the Russia collusion narrative.

Louise Mensch — Mensch, a former British parliamentarian, has become a household name among the anti-Trump resistance in the U.S., with her fantastical tweets about “sealed indictments” and grand juries.

Hillary Clinton — Clinton, the day after losing the election to Trump, wanted to promote the idea that Comey’s reopening of the investigation into her emails and Russia led to her defeat, according to the book Shattered. “She wants to make sure all these narratives get spun the right way,” a Clinton ally told the book’s authors.

Robby Mook — Mook was the first Clinton campaign official to go on record suggesting there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, during an ABC News interview at the Democratic National Convention in July 2016, shortly after stolen DNC emails were released.

No, because even if there were collusion , other than a possible conspiracy & electoral reporting violations there is no crime.

So if they are innocent why don’t they come and submit themselves to a court of law?

One of the companies, Concord Management & Consulting did, and the DA kept asking for more time to actually put the case together… and more recently “Concord, accused of backing a Russian conspiracy to distribute politically charged social media posts to American voters, has been fighting to free evidence in its case that the Justice Department locked down because it is sensitive to national security.” (quote from that well known right wing nut job consipiracy theorist web site Cnn poltics https://edition.cnn.com/2019/01/07/politics/mueller-judge-rebuke/index.html). Bit hard tho defend yourself if you are not aware of the what the prosecution has, which is normal and accepted practice!

  41. Empire 5:5

Now the investigation of real election interference may begin:

A coalition of groups working to support Democrats and progressive causes has been caught employing Russian-style information operations on Facebook. Funded in part by LinkedIn cofounder Reid Hoffman, the operations have now been found to have taken place in Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee. And while no one involved seems to think the operations proved decisive in the 2018 midterm elections, they contribute to a general diminishment of trust in social networks as a platform for honest political discussions

It is the same thing both ways.

  47. Peter Maynard

Now that Mueller has recommended no further prosecutions from his 2 year frolic and especially no prosecutions of Trump or others for conspiring with Russia, how long will we no have to wait for the Democrats to pivot and begin to seek to indict Mueller for perverting the course of injustice. ;^)

(Hint I think it has already begun as democrats seek to distance themselves from Mueller)

  48. Tel

Who you believe more: US intelligence or Putin?

The US intelligence community have on multiple occasions been caught telling lies and running secret schemes that blew up dreadfully.

    * USA training the Vietnamese rebels who later turned Communist and took over the country, leading to the Vietnam War and modern Communist Vietnam.
    * Operation AJAX 1953: Temporarily successful military coup in Iran leading to authoritarian Shah monarchy which was friendly to Western interests … collapsed after Islamic uprising leading to modern repressive theocracy in Iran.
    * CIA drug smuggling during the Vietnam War.
    * The highly unsuccessful CIA Phoenix Program, working with the Australian military to kidnap or assassinate key Vietnamese leaders during the Vietnam War … including use of secret prisons and torture against civilians.
    * Operation Menu: secret carpet bombing of Cambodia supported by Kissinger, then covered up with falsified records … eventually General George Scratchley Brown admitted under pressure that the program existed.
    * Failed coup against Sukarno in 1958 including the bombing of civilians in contrary to direct orders from President Eisenhower.
    * CIA support for Indonesian mass killings in 1965.
    * Operation Mockingbird: propaganda program including systematic news media manipulation.
    * MK-Ultra: systematic testing weaponized hallucinogens on unwitting civilian targets (see also Operation Midnight Climax).
    * Selling weapons to BOTH SIDES during Iran / Iraq war … Soviets started neutral but later supported Iraq to prevent outright Iranian victory and maintain Sunni / Shiite balance of power.
    * Operation CHAOS, unconstitutional use of US military to run domestic surveillance program, starting in 1969 … especially targeting civilian anti-war protest activity. Although later closed, it became the start of an ever expanding program of domestic surveillance.
    * Operation Cyclone: Training Afghan Mujahideen in 1975 for the purpose of interfering with Soviet activity … partially successful bankrupting the Soviet Union, but also leading to later support for international terrorism and many Islamic terrorist groups.
    * John Negroponte training for death squads: Salvador, Honduras.
    * 1980’s CIA involvement in cocaine trafficking in Nicaragua.
    * CIA “black site” prisons after 9/11, kidnapping and interrogation … then in 2005 “oopse we accidentally-on-purpose destroyed the videotaped evidence … how unfortunate!
    * Shipping arms to Libya … they swore they weren’t doing it until turns out they were. Hillary Clinton gloating over the death of Gaddafi which then opened the floodgates of refugees into Europe and created open-air slave markets, still running today in Libya.
    * Timber Sycamore: American supplied arms rapidly changing hands from the “moderate” head-choppers in Syria over to the Islamic State … now self-evident failure as Assad & Putin have won the war.
    * Astounding expansion of opium production in Afghanistan under US occupation (gosh! where does all that money go?)
    * CIA prisons in Mogadishu, Somalia: kidnap, torture, rotten conditions … nominally counter-terrorism against groups such as al Shabaab, the USA supports local Somali warlords in the hope of cracking down on militants. Most of the locals hate the warlords, and in logical connection also hate the USA for being in league with the warlords.

Anyone see a pattern of lawful behaviour here? Me neither.

  51. The primary reason for setting up the Mueller SC was to hide and destroy evidence of corrupt and criminal behaviour by the Obama Admin, Clintons and USA alphabet agencies.
Any criminality or process crimes by Trump or his people was a secondary goal. Findings would be used for political purposes (which they were but they couldn’t find anything on Trump or his family). All was going well until Sessions was fired and Barr appointed.

  52. BorisG

Boris hunting out the big never Trump issues.

No I am not. I don’t particularly like Trump but I accept Mueller findings and move on. If there are any who are turning on Mueller I am not one of them. I thought Trump showed some suspicious behaviour and it needed investigating, but if Mueller hasn’t found anything wrong, it is a good thing.

I always thought Mueller was a man of integrity and I still do.

That Putin tried to interfere in the elections in favour of Trump, is obvious. There were even celebrations of their success in Russian press when he won (not surprisingly some were taking credit for the outcome). Only blind people would deny that. willingly blind.

So no, I didn’t say Sessions was a leftie puppet. It’s you who is pathetic as well as a dick head..
