    What could possibly go wrong?

FANNIE MAE BACKS MORTGAGES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS

It’s unknown how many illegal aliens have taken out FHA loans, but some media stories have cited loan officers for whom illegal alien FHA loans represent a significant percentage of their business.

The Trump administration has applied the brakes to this avalanche of taxpayer-insured mortgages to illegal aliens. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) had begun notifying lenders that the FHA was no longer in the illegal alien mortgage business. The reasons were common sense. DACA illegal aliens, or in media spin, DREAMERs, were not legal residents and weren’t being legalized.

And you thought Aussie banks were bad. It takes a government lender to really stuff things up.

I take it that will be changing?

I think so. It seems to be more centred around ‘the feelz.’ I think there may be one or two female sections in a couple the Inf Bn’s already. Also it will probably be made mandatory for everyone to march in full uniform at annual Oxford St vomit parade in March. Marching on ANZAC Day will become a ‘chargeable offence.’

Weapons are to be redesigned so that they appear less phallic, have a diversity of shapes, and can receive as well as deliver, kinetic energy.

Bruce Yardley was world class in the gully, in this or any other age. This position is often overlooked, but having a specialist gully fieldsman (yes I said that) is worth its weight in gold.

In the cordon it’s governed by science. First slip (the armchair) watches flight of the ball, second, third and so on concentrate on the edge of the bat.

The gully is somewhere between science and art. You need to concentrate on split second movements by the batsman, and cope with the additional speed of the ball off the bat that the slips rarely have to deal with.

You need the reflexes of the cordon and athleticism of a short cover. He was brilliant.

    Could bowl a bit too.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/mar/26/joe-biden-anita-hill-hearings-race-gender

The former vice-president Joe Biden condemned “a white man’s culture” on Tuesday night as he lashed out against violence against women and, more specifically, lamented his role in the supreme court confirmation hearings that undermined Anita Hill’s credibility nearly three decades ago.

Biden, a Democratic presidential prospect who often highlights his white working-class roots, said Hill, who is African American, should not have been forced to face a panel of “a bunch of white guys”.

“To this day I regret I couldn’t come up with a way to give her the kind of hearing she deserved,” he said, echoing comments he delivered last fall as the nation debated sexual misconduct allegations against Brett Kavanaugh amid his supreme court confirmation hearing.

Later in his Tuesday remarks, Biden called on Americans to “change the culture” that dates back centuries and allows pervasive violence against women. “It’s an English jurisprudential culture, a white man’s culture. It’s got to change,” Biden said.

    Ok white boy, what to?
South African, Chinese, Russian (or wussia wussia wussia) exactly where does he imagine the most mollycoddled sex would be better off?

    ….
Biden was speaking at a New York City event honoring young people who helped combat sexual assault on college campuses. The event, held at a venue called the Russian Tea Room, was hosted by the Biden Foundation and the not-for-profit group It’s on Us, which Biden founded with Barack Obama in 2014.

Is it too early to blame Putin for his loss of the next presidential election??
    ….

He then shared a conversation he had with a member of a college fraternity.

“If you see a brother taking an inebriated co-ed up the stairs at a fraternity house and you don’t go and stop it, you’re a damn coward,” Biden said. “You don’t deserve to be called a man.”

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the numbering of blog comments.

It encourages competition over positioning and results in winners and losers. Clearly this is discrimination over our weaker and more vulnerable commentatrixes and is a form of inequality and as such all blog comments should be renumbered as #1 to not discriminate against anyone. That way we can all be equal winners!

In declaring a crisis in teacher pay in America, Harris noted that public school teachers are paid 11 percent less than similar professionals with college degrees, and expressed her commitment to closing the pay gap entirely within her first term.

Teachers are underpaid in general, but for black teachers and students, the prognosis is even grimmer.

Rather than surveying traditional figures of American political thought, it attends to historically marginalized voices at the crossings of race, gender, s3xuality, and nation. It explores issues such as intersectionality, antiblack racism and the American Dream, ordinary life, borderlands and migration, public feelings, mental health, and settler colonialism. The materials we examine also exceed the usual genres of American Political Thought. We must stand against white supremacy
The recent terrorist attack in New Zealand is another example of the growing terrorism movement based on white supremacy.

The recent terrorist attack in New Zealand is another example of the growing terrorism movement based on white supremacy. It’s getting worse and steps must be taken to confront it.

White supremacy is the belief that white people are superior to all other races of people and should be dominant over them. It’s difficult to speculate when it began. The medieval crusades were the Europeans’ attempt to conquer the Holy Land in the name of White Christendom. When Columbus washed up on the shores of a Caribbean Island, he took several of the local inhabitants back to Spain to have them examined to see if they were human. The church declared them human but inferior.

White supremacy is a part of our history, our government institutions, our school curriculum and even the Christian religion. If you look up on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, you will see God depicted as an old white man. Over the years, pictures of Jesus Christ have been that of a blue-eyed white man instead of the dark-skinned reality of people living in the Middle East.

The Bible states that man shall have dominion over nature. To the medieval Church, that meant white people, and it stuck.

When FGM is and drag queen trannies in school is not enough

Breast ironing awareness ‘needed in school’

Breast ironing awareness should be made part of the mandatory school curriculum to protect young girls from abuse, the National Education Union has said.

The practice involves ironing a girl’s chest with hot objects to delay breasts from growing, so she does not attract male attention.

Conservative MP Nicky Morgan said teachers must also be educated, as they have a “very important role to play”.

The Home Office said teachers have a duty to report concerns.

    ‘Not allowed to cry’
“Kinaya” – whose name we have changed – lives in the UK.

Her family descends from west Africa – where breast ironing originates – and she was subjected to it aged 10.

She said her mother told her that “if I don’t iron them, men will start coming to you, to have s3x with you”.

It is often the child’s mother who will undertake the breast ironing, which usually involves heating a stone or spoon on a flame then pressing, massaging or flattening the breast.

This can go on for months.

“Time does not erase that kind of pain,” Kinaya explained.

“You’re not even allowed to cry out. If you do, you [are said to] have brought shame to your family, you are not a ‘strong girl’.”

Typical. The English Board of Deputies, like the Board of Deputies here in NSW, has been hijacked by leftists, far leftists and general appeasers. So they love criticising people on the right or anyone who uses certain words and then ignore….because they are spineless, vacuous, supine toadies…real anti-Semitism particularly leftist and Islamic anti-Semitism. These so called communal organisations delight in fellating the left but then they are left gobsmacked, bewildered and nonplussed when, after enjoying the fellatio, the left turns on the J**ish community…which is precisely what they are doing…just look at the British Labour party, the Demrats with Ilhan, the ALP and the Greens here in Oz. I do wonder if we’ll see Ardern condemn with gusto the conspiracy theory but somehow I doubt it because I reckon I know how Ardern feels about Isr**l and Z**nism.

Huh? It was Dr. BG who said I ‘gush’. End of old thread, and I was fairly unamused, taking it at its usual dictionary meaning, as applied to female communication mode that I do not think I warrant. Does that word also have a pron meaning about which I am totally unaware? Strange, for I have not really led a sheltered life and although Hairy does say there are indeed some gaps in my knowledge these are not usually in that irregular department. 🙂

Here’s the usual meaning, as exampled, naturally, by a female, for it is to women that the term is always negatively applied:

speak or write with effusiveness or exaggerated enthusiasm.
“a nice old lady reporter who covers the art openings and gushes about everything”
    synonyms: enthuse · over-enthuse · be enthusiastic · be effusive · effuse · rave · [more]

As a Rock Follies Fan – late 70s UK TV Show

I am a Julie Covington Fan – Original Evita – JULIE COVINGTON Don’t Cry For Me Argentina

The best selling single in Australia for 1977. 40 years ago the now infamous song from ‘Evita’ was issued and became a monster hit for Julie Covington. The award winning singer and actor entered the British charts in December of ’76 and the single ‘Don’t cry for me Argentina’ would hit #1 in her homeland as well as downunder where it spent a glorious 7 weeks atop the National Top 40 (Curiously it stalled at #2 in Sydney; my homebase). Julie would continue to act in musicals, TV dramas and record hit singles including her cover of Alice Cooper’s ‘Only women bleed’ – her last entry in the U.K Chart. Apart from having such a monster hit to her credit; Julie Covington’s version is the original recording of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice composition. That’s a legacy!

So much less tyre squirt on a three-wheeler ride to Paris

    John Connolly

Today: What happened to Ferrari last weekend? Which Australians are driving an MGB GT the 13,700km from Peking through Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Poland to Paris. And why was our economics editor Adam Creighton at the FI? (But let’s save that one for next week.)

First up, Valtteri Viktor Bottas, 29, of Monte Carlo (aren’t they all?) won last week’s St Kilda Grand Prix by about three years from Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton MBE, 34, of Stevenage.

Another year behind was Max Verstappen, who is about three years old, followed by Seb Vettel, 31, and Chuck Leclerc, who is also about three. Both were five years behind. So what happened to Hamo? Too much tyre squirt. No, I didn’t make it up. He lost the corner off his floor and that meant too much airflow from the tyre and a lively rear end.

Anyway, Val is a lance corporal in the Finnish army and his mother is an undertaker (in private practice, not the army). He had a bad season last year — no wins — and some critics wondered out loud why Mercedes had signed him for 2019. This is probably why Val uttered the very formal response to them on his warm-down lap “to whom it may concern, (naughty word) you”.

Seb and Chuck could have said the same thing about their lack of speed. It looks like the cars were set up badly and lacked traction on the corners. Don’t forget this happened to the Feezer team last year and they came back strongly. Poor old Chuck not only was ordered to stay behind Seb … he was told to back off.

My favourite was former F1 ace Robert Kubica, who crashed in a rally in 2011 had his arm partially amputated and was back out on the track on the weekend. It’s usually only motorbike racers who are this tough.

There’s some tough rallies this year, including the May 8 to May 17 Shitbox Rally, travelling the 5150km from Perth to Sydney via Uluru and raising even more money for cancer. Then there’s the Targa Tasmania, with 300 cars sedately driving for 2000km around the Apple Isle. As an aside, can I report that following our extraordinary result last year, Hyundai has entered Michael McMichael’s dream car, the 130N, with factory World Rally Championship driver Brendan Reeves and his sister Rhianon Gelsomino behind the wheel? Rhianon has won just about every rally everywhere in the world and I have emailed her to ask if she would give the old bloke a few tips before we get going in Lonnie.

Anyway, it just goes to show that the global auto industrial complex will do anything to stop the success of The Weekend Australian Rally Team’s McMichael prepared 1998 BMW. Once again, we will be raising money for RAW (Rural Alive & Well) which does a great job helping people with mental health issues and focuses on suicide prevention.

But the toughest of all is the 2019 Peking to Paris Rally. There are 120 cars, 17 Australians, 36 days of fun and Belgian architects Anton Gonnissen and Herman Gelan in a 112-year-old three-wheel Contal Mototri. It would be fair to say the Contal Mototri motor company did not have a long history. In fact, I think it lasted two years and the highlight was being one of only five cars to enter the 1907 Peking Paris. It was the only car not to finish.

French persons Auguste Pons and Oscar Foucauld entered their factory sponsored 3KW Contal with great hopes of winning the rally and taking the Contal brand to great heights. Let me describe the motor tri to you. Imagine a normal bicycle at the back with two wheels at the front on either side of a motor with a dining room chair on top. The driver sits on a normal bike seat and the navigator sits comfortably in the dining chair. You can already see this may not have been Ponsy’s or Contal’s best idea.

Anyway, it’s 8am on the 10th of June and Ponsy and Oscar are on the starting grid with the four other competitors. Eight days later the French duo had run out of juice and were lost in the Gobi desert. As Gonnissen tells it, they almost died of thirst, after drinking all the Mumm champagne left and all the water out of the radiator. They were rescued by Mongol tribesmen on their horses and nursed back to health on camel milk and Coopers Best Extra Stout.

Hopefully, our Australian representatives won’t have to drink too much camel milk this year. John and Marian Crighton will be in their very well rallied MGB GT; Gerry Crown and Matt Bryson have done plenty of Peking to Parises before in their Leyland P76 and Alan and Steve Maden will be doing better than Ponsy and Oscar in a 1975 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.

Talking of the Leyland P76, Peter North, the boss of Leyland who introduced the car, died this week. Peter was ex-Ford Canada, a world class engineer and wrongly maligned for the P76.

As the website P76 Anything But Average says: “It was an excellent and ingenious design. It was the most thoroughly Australian car, in concept and in content, ever offered to the Australian public.”

Peter went on to found The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering at the University of Sydney. He deserves an important place in the history of the Australian motor industry.

Not read any papers but does anybody know when the visit by Ashby and Dixon was to USA where they were filmed ? Last year sometime.

Were there any further contacts between the journalist and ON after that ?

Meanwhile there is Get Up on the other side whose agitators frequently appear on ABC panels. Incidentally has anybody from Advance Australia appeared on any ABC show and if not why not ?

Simple question for Morrison PM. Which party is more dangerous to the future of Australia, Greens or ON ? If that is too hard Morrison might want to consider which of those most likely to give their preferences to Coalition ?

Meanwhile Labor / Shorten more than happy to take the money and manpower support of the CFMMEU thugs. By the way is John Setka still on domestic violence / paid leave from. Has the wife returned to Melbourne ? Will she attempt to drop the charges just before trial ? Do all CFMMEU organisers get paid leave after being charged with assaulting their wife. So with the death of Redoute’s Choice, The Autumn Sun is being sought to cover. Which would be a shame, he could be a champion in his own right. But money talks.

That canal beside the Nile is a disgrace. I can’t work out why there is so much litter

The Cairo canals were the most disgusting things environmentally that I have ever seen. They were nothing more than rubbish trips with a channel of green slimy water lying there mostly not moving, stagnant and smelling. The banks were nothing but composting garbage, constantly being increased.
Litter was everywhere in Cairo, but to say these canals were littered would be to insult litter.

Under Siege 2 Dark Territory screening. I am too young for Reagan’s ‘Star Wars’ policy. Is this type of technology what he had in mind, or just missiles intercepting those launched at the US?

I suspect that the real Star Wars policy was to destroy the Soviet Union economically by forcing it into a technology race it could not win.

Missikes were the initial weapon of choice, as they already existed. Lots of effort went into energy weapons, but that was futuristic. Lots of side benefits in tracking and aiming technology came to fruition as the years rolled on, but by then tbe Soviet Union was no more.

I vividly remember my parents weeping in 1972 when the Israeli team were massacred in Munich. I vividly remember the Entebbe hijacking five years later and the fear that there was going to be another slaughter of J**s. I remember waking up and my parents screaming with joy that the hostages had been freed by Isr**li commandos….sadly the only commando who died during the operation was the beautiful Yonatan Netanyahu. I remember being told by my father that Isr**l wasn’t going to be told to sit around whilst J**s were being murdered. Interestingly….and unsurprisingly German leftist scum were involved in both attacks……the East Germans gave help to the terrorist scum in 1972 and in 1977 the terrorists were Arabs and German middle class Baader Meinhoff scum.

  163. Muddy

I’m going to go against the grain here and state that the Entebbe rescue, while it brought a much more positive result than Munich, was somewhat reckless and lucky not to have been a disaster. The fact it was a hostage rescue in hostile territory obviously complicated the options available. I’m not denying the individual courage and command decisiveness involved, either.

Munich? What country had faced a Munich situation before?
Was the Munich disaster the embryo of GSG9?

    Blacklisting Chick-fil-A
In San Antonio, a popular fast-food chain becomes the target of a progressive crusade.

San Antonio’s left-leaning city council, backed by mayor Ron Nirenberg, recently banned Chick-fil-A from becoming a concessionaire at the city-operated international airport. City officials reportedly cited Chick-fil-A’s political positions as justification for its boycott of the company: “With this decision, the City Council reaffirmed the work our city has done to become a champion of equality and inclusion,” said councilman Roberto Treviño. “San Antonio is a city full of compassion, and we do not have room in our public facilities for a business with a legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior.”

Sydney residents move out as city depends on migrants for growth

Australian Bureau of Statistics data showed the Greater Sydney area added 93,411 residents through 2017-18, taking the city’s total population to a record 5.2 million. It was the smallest increase in the population since 2014-15.

It was driven by net overseas migration which added 71,000 residents to the city over the year, offsetting a 27,300 loss from existing Sydneysiders who moved to another part of the country. The rest of the increase was made up by natural increases.

But the overseas and internal migration numbers hid big changes in different parts of the city.

Across the Canterbury-Bankstown area, almost 4000 residents moved out, or 11 people a day. The loss of so many existing residents was offset by a 3877 natural increase while net overseas migration added another 5615 people.

Other areas to suffer large falls due to internal migration included Cumberland (3714), Randwick (3120) and Georges River (2842).

More than 2800 people moved out of the Sydney City council area but this was made up by 8111 in net overseas migration and 1781 in natural increases.

Link’s at the Currant Bun – but evidently David Warner’s manager urged him to ring all his teammates and apologise for cheating, prior to his joining the World Cup squad.

Couldn’t he have done that A YEAR AGO? He obviously hasn’t done it yet, or his manager wouldn’t have asked him to. Jesus wept salty tears of rage……… but there’s more:

He (the manager) also assured the media that although Warner would not be doing pressers, he ‘doesn’t hold a grudge’ against his teammates.

Why the hell would the ranga midget hold a grudge? Did his teammates shop him? Smith himself said the entire leadership group was involved – that on its own would be enough to hold a grudge, I can tell you.

If Warner’s teammates want to hold grudges relating to the peanut’s rank idiocy then bless their cotton socks – but Warner having a grudge against them? Three quarters of the team loathe the insufferable gob – the cheating’s just mayo on the burger. That maggot should never be allowed to hold a cricket bat ever again.

    Job I went to:

Old mate the tradie here in Darwin invites his mate around for a beer after work. After several beers, old mate brings out a ‘baby children’s python’ that he caught the previous day and put in an empty bird cage. Takes the ten-inch-long snake out of the cage, holds it by the tail and explains all about children’s pythons to his mate. All the while the ‘python’ is snapping at, and chewing on, old mate’s hand and wrist.

Snake goes back in the cage and the friend leaves. An hour later old mate starts throwing up blood, goes upstairs where he starts squirting claret out the other end as well. In this condition he pinwheels all over the house, leaving it looking like half a dozen cattle had been put through a woodchipper in the lounge and hallway before finally falling over, cracking his head on the laundry floor – where he expired.

He was found three days later. The eastern brown snake was still in the cage downstairs.

Let’s WeChat: Shorten in direct pitch to Chinese

    exclusive

    Comments

Bill Shorten has made a dramatic move to win back support from Chinese-Australian voters following last week’s disastrous NSW election defeat, declaring Labor is not a racist party and that he welcomes the rise of China as a global power.

In a group chat with nearly 500 Chinese-speaking voters on the WeChat Live social media service — the first by an Australian political leader — Mr Shorten said yesterday that Labor would make it easier for immigrant families to get visas for ageing parents, and highlighted the government’s past attempt to introduce a university-level language test for would-be citizens.

Days after intervening to blast out Michael Daley as NSW Labor leader following his damaging anti-Asian comments, the Opposition Leader told Chinese-Australian voters that “racism from anyone is unacceptable”.

Mr Shorten — who is eyeing off the swing seats of Chisholm, Banks, Reid, Bennelong and Deakin, which boast influential local Chinese-Australian communities — will use scandals involving One Nation and Fraser Anning to press home Labor’s credentials as a pro-multicultural party ahead of the May election.

The Labor leader told WeChat users he was “pro-immigrant”, and pledged Labor would make it easier to bring their parents to Australia on a new temporary sponsored visa, which the government had promised but not yet delivered, and would limit to one set of parents per household.

“Labor wants to make sure you never have to pick which parents you want to bring to Australia,” he said on the Chinese social media platform.

From the Oz. Bill Shorten really will sell his arse to the highest bidder, won’t he.

He’s on track to be our next prime minister, but Labor leader Bill Shorten is still shy about tucking his knees under the table of Australia’s richest family.

Just over six weeks from the federal election, Shorten last night entered the billionaire Pratt family’s historic mansion Raheen via the secret stable doors, a laneway entrance normally reserved for deliveries.

Maybe the leader of the worker’s party thought it was the tradesman’s entrance?

For Shorten, it was a return to the Melbourne home of the billionaire family’s matriarch Jeanne Pratt, her son Anthony Pratt and his partner Claudine, after a long absence.

The politician was previously a frequent guest via his first marriage to Debbie Beale, a goddaughter to Jeanne and her late husband Richard Pratt.

But last night Shorten was back in the Pratt fold, with the doors to their Kew home Raheen thrown open for a left-of-centre political fundraiser featuring a powerful clutch of Melbourne business types. Amazing how the sniff of victory can pull a crowd, even at $5000 a head.

While their leader didn’t want to be photographed, his deputy Tanya Plibersek arrived through Raheen’s imposing main gates to be greeted by her packaging hosts at the arched front door. Very civilised.

From the Oz. Think about this, the next time Whinging William is whining about the “big end of town”, will you?
