    Stimpson … ffs!
Im trying to defend yr stupid arse…but you have to push a limit?

So I should abandon my people?
    I think not.
All the mad are my people, no matter their race, religion, or color.
The sane too, even though they are f$cking annoying.
It’s really cute that you guys all think Wars are still the answer.

  2. .

    Great stuff

Murder in Rome, a re-enactment of the one of the most significant murder trials in history. Based on a genuine trial record, it’s set in Rome in 81BC. Sextus Roscius is accused of murdering his father, and found guilty he’ll face an agonising death. However, the stakes are just as high for Cicero, the lawyer defending him. If he wins the case, he could be killed.

  3. Stimpson J. Cat

    Also the Women.
The Women are my people too.
    Can’t forget them.

  4. Knuckle Dragger

I#rael should say to hell with the UN and do it anyway. Otherwise it’s like ScoMo pandering to idiots who aren’t going to vote for him anyway.

If the Palis want to use human shields, good luck with that. They were warned. There may be a few White Helmet moments, but the job will get done in the end.

And yes Stimpy should still be able to voice an opinion for discussion. The problem is, as others have said, he doesn’t put forward anything valid. Get Trump to sort it isn’t an opinion if (apparently) he’s so heavily invested in the matter. Had his chance, and even then couldn’t help himself – saying J#ws were predisposed to nuffiness, but not as much as him.

To quote the man himself – just outrageous.

Guys, stop arguing. Jussie Smollett is one J*w that we all love, and he keeps on giving

Jerusalem has been conquered many times over history.

Times past have been turbulent, both politically and socially. The only difference today is that the media and UN makes a difference. But do they?

No one seemed to squeal too much about Venesualia at the time being over taken by Socialists.

Israel should just annex the entire joint and ride out the storm. It might well be their last chance at survival.

And do it while Trump is in office. The entire Middle East would be a better place.

ScoMo’s directive that Lib preferences go to Labor and the Greens over One Nation is just another episode of alienating his base nearly every time he opens his gob.

How likely that the Liberals were always the intended ultimate target of the ABC-Al Jazeera-PHON swindle?

And yes Stimpy should still be able to voice an opinion for discussion.

It’s really not up to you.
How hard is this you for you all to understand?
Complain to Management if you don’t like it, or sulk.

The problem is, as others have said, he doesn’t put forward anything valid.

    Not valid?
You guys are talking about expelling every Muslim or Pally from Israel or threatening nuclear war and I’m not raising valid points?
I’m the mentally ill one, remember?

You sane people make laugh, you really do.

The mcgauchie method hired the country’s most expensive consultants to provide a study recomending a brand new north australian meatworks, chasing markets not yet existing with a brand yet to be created sourced from cattle not bred for north australian grassfed conditions.

Then hired kevin rudds daughter to run it, because that is the way things are done.

After the crashing and burning of the hundy mill, this happened.

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/rural/2019-03-28/batchelor-meatworks-nears-opening-exciting-producers

The meat processed at the facility will all be exported to Asia, much of it to Indonesia, where it will compete with frozen Indian buffalo meat.

Mr Polovinka believed the Batchelor meatworks would be a success where the AACo meatworks failed because it would not compete with live exporters.

“We can’t compete against the [live export trade], they are just paying far too much,” he said.

“Being on the world market we are a price taker, not a price maker.

“So what you have to do is work out what you get for your product and work backwards from there so then you know what price to pay for your cattle.

We have a homeless young bloke hanging around our place of work in a strip of businessess at the moment. He smells.

Sounds like the self-neglet of mild autism. It wasn’t picked up so much in past years. It’s often still undiagnosed in young adults, and they get stuck on Newstart ($100 less per week than the DSP), get into drugs, get dismissed by their families if they ever had any, rarely get work and still find the world extremely confusing.

Give the lad a smile, HZ. He could probably do with it.
Maybe head him towards some charities for help if you get talking to him.
Mostly you can’t do much, but five dollars can brighten his day and buy him a Coke.
They love the caffeine hit in it. I don’t blame them for that.

Victoria moves to jail more Catholic priests:

Hennessy wants priests to report sexual abuse or face charges.

Laws compelling priests to break the seal of confession and report child sexual abuse to police or face criminal charges are due in parliament before the end of the year.

The Andrews government wants to remove legal privileges that shield priests from giving evidence about alleged crimes heard during the confession, arguing that the sacrament provides cover to paed0philes.

    Three things:

    1) there is no evidence that any ped0ph-le has even been given “cover” by a priest confessor.
    2) this is really an attempt to further incite hatred of Catholics and intimidate the Church to prevent it from preaching the Gospel. Nothing more.
    3) it is self-evidently absurd to pretend that any such charge could ever be proven anyway. Only the purported abuser himself could testify that he’d ‘confessed’ to a priest. And he would only ever do so if he was ALREADY under arrest. Which opens up the OBVIOUS danger that ped0ph-les will lie about having confessed to a priest in order to make mental illness-related plea deals (which Victorian police will encourage).

They get governance and the “the rule of law”. It’s important. I didn’t mention a vote. They also get to pay a tax, rather than be extorted by their leaders on their whim. Seems fair. They can take it or leave it. Plenty of nearby countries they can move to. They can “sell up” or stay. Whatever suits.

    Absolutely.

It is indeed a dangerous and stupid law; it brings up a partial “defence” under cross examination, that is you question the motives of the witness and discredit them. You would then question why the police would even bother to conduct such a bizarre operation to entrap someone (possibly illegal under superior Federal human rights law, let alone common law principles and conflicting with other legislation), or why they would let a confessed child abuser, not yet convicted and sentenced walk around free on their own recognisance…

Modern politics boils down to OPM and abortion (sadly). Given the Catholic Church is objectively the safest institution for children, far better than public schools, military cadets, scouts, sporting clubs, most if not all other churches and even parties like the ALP [facts don’t care about your feelings/bigotry], the left [given their record, Orkopolous, d’Arcy] (socialists and feminists) need to attack the church over and over again, or totally distort what His Holiness says on economic and social issues.

    GAY PREDATOR PRIEST CONVICTED
    https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/gay-predator-priest-convicted

Two successive popes have directed that homos3xual men should not be in the seminary. The case of homos3xual predator Fr. Robert DeLand is yet more proof of the negative consequences arising from ordaining gay men.

Under the direction of then Pope Benedict XVI, the Vatican issued 2008 guidelines directing seminaries to dismiss men who have not only “deep-seated homos3xual tendencies” but also those with “uncertain s3xual identity.” Of this latter group, the 2008 guidelines say of such men that their “path of formation will have to be interrupted,” meaning dismissal from the seminary.

The 2008 document was speaking in the context of psychological deficiencies in seminarians, pointing out, “Such immaturity would include … uncertain s3xual identity; deep-seated homos3xual tendencies; etc. If this should be the case, the path of formation will have to be interrupted.”

Last May, Pope Francis seemingly reiterated this directive to a group of Italian bishops. Addressing the Italian bishops’ conference during the 71st general assembly on May 25, the Holy Father stated, “If you have even the slightest doubt” about homos3xual being considered for seminary, then “it’s better not to let them enter.”

Francis approvingly referenced the ban on seminarians with “deep-seated [homos3xual] tendencies” or those who practice “homos3xual acts” from being admitted to the seminary because it can lead to “scandal” as well as jeopardize the life of the seminary, the formation of the man and his future as a priest.

In the wake of the priestly s3x abuse scandal that broke in the archdiocese of Boston in 2002, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued their initial 2004 report on clerical s3x abuse, which found 81 percent of the victims of clerical s3x abuse were male and almost 90 percent of the victims were post-pubescent. These findings were repeated by the U.S. bishops almost verbatim in 2011, 2016 and again in 2017.

The Vatican responded to the U.S. bishops’ initial 2004 report by issuing directives in 2005 warning seminaries: “One must in no way overlook the negative consequences that can derive from the ordination of persons with deep-seated homos3xual tendencies.”

Father DeLand is one more example of those “negative consequences.”

1 g of antimatter annihilated with 1 g of matter would produce over 42 kilotons of TNT of energy released – two Nagasaki sized bombs – nearly 30,000 (29379.6) barrels of oil worth of energy.

So you only need to annihilate less than 3.37 kg of both matter and anti matter to produce energy equivalent to current GLOBAL oil consumption daily (roughly 99 million barrels of oil each day right now).

Judge Nap: Trump Is Right That Smollett Case Is ‘National Embarrassment,’ Needs to Be Reviewed

…On “Fox & Friends” Thursday, Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said Trump is “100-percent correct” that the Smollett saga has been a national embarrassment.

“It involves law enforcement and potential corruption. I don’t mean cash in somebody’s pocket. I mean doing something for the wrong reason as a political favor,” Napolitano said. “That’s an improper use of government authority. And it needs to be investigated.”

He said the FBI and DOJ can continue investigating if Smollett committed mail fraud by allegedly mailing a fraudulent threatening letter to himself, but as for the dropped charges of lying to police about the alleged hate crime, Smollett is “home free.”

Napolitano said Trump likely wants the FBI and DOJ to investigate Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who is facing questions about whether she properly recused herself and her office from the case.

“Either you’re in or you’re out. And if you have a conflict, you have to get out. Was that an act of corruption? And if so, was anybody’s civil rights violated by it?” Napolitano explained.

Name any country in the Middle East that has made major concessions in favour of their neighbours on any issue and give details of the event.

1982 – Israel withdrew from the Sinai – Result – Egypt recognised Israel and limited the number of troops on the Sinai Peninsula.

2000 – Israel withdrew from Lebanon. Result – Israel was attacked from Lebanon in 2006.

Very interesting video Zippy, I’ve just seen the first few minutes but will watch it all eventually.

That seattle video is a shocker. Legalising all opioids would be a catastrophe. The left’s response has done nothing but worsen the situation like it always does.

Seattle has effectively decriminalised personal opioid use and the results are truly appalling.

Oh yes, you’re so right. There’s strong evidence to show two people have refused to use illicit drugs because they are illegal in the past 150 years. One person refused in 1937 and the other was in 1965.

Prominent child protection advocate Hetty Johnston has announced she will step down as Bravehearts’ Chairwoman to run for a Senate seat as an Independent.

Her main policy will be pushing for a royal commission into Australia’s family law system.

This is Ms Johnston’s third bid to become a politician.

I hope she fails. Good grief we’ve got enough nutters in the Senate if you get that the centre is there to review legislation not to push personal political agendas for which they have no mandate.

  120. Armadillo

These old ads remind me of the “Keep Australia Beautiful” campaign for some reason.

I think it probably made a difference in some respects. People who used to chuck rubbish out the car window started to think about it a bit more. There ya go, probably the only contribution I can think of that the environmentalist movement has made that is worthy of mention.

Strangely enough, it was based on national pride, rather than divisiveness.

I’d proffer that if the Greens actually wanted to do something useful for the environment, they would be spending their resources running similar campaigns in third world shitholes. Using overseas “donations” to provide a garbage service would be more admirable than flying about an army of tax hoovers to lecture the natives on equality.

  121. Armadillo

This is Ms Johnston’s third bid to become a politician.

Less “Ms’s” and more “Mrs” in parliament would be a good thing.

Another irritation is that when they ARE married, they all use a different surname to their husbands. They don’t want you to know who the hell they are related to, and the incestuous political relationships they are entwined in. Countless examples of that crap going on.

I’ve advocated before that Ancestory.com would be the perfect platform for discovering exactly how intertwined politicians, business and the media actually are. It gives you all the “clues”. A worthwhile project for someone with time on their hands.

The most facinating aspect would be to pick up news reports and figure out how many of their relatives are on the Government teat as a result of influence. Brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

The resulting “family tree” would bring the the jigsaw pieces together.

It’s exactly why they don’t use their own names. They don’t want you to know “who is related to whom”.

First thought is that there won’t be any point in building a car that does over the speed limit. You are paying for all the stuff on your speedo that goes from 130km per hour to 240km per hour. A waste of money really.

Cars will need to be entirely re-engineered.

City dwellers who just drive around the City (say Sydney or Melbourne) are probably over paying anyway. You aren’t likely to be hitting 240km an hour in Pitt Street or on the way to Bondi Beach. Might as well have the speedo stop at 50 km per hour. It’s not as if you are ever going to use the other 150 km per hour these wankers are paying for.

There was, for example, a time in 1970 when I was a member of a team made up of two Murris (one a blue water man, one a brown water man), a Sri Lankan, a West Indian, two pommies, a Pole and a couple of Aussie born blokes. The contact drills required a translator, but we kept each other safe when a few AK47 toting individuals had other ideas.
That was a pretty practical example of diversity.

You silly man. What kept your group in “harmony” was 1) an external existential threat and 2) adf culture. Definitely not your diversity. See how much harmony you’d get if you removed the external threat and a common culture. This is particularly the case when you interpret “harmony” as dreary conformity to the party line, which you do.

  133. DrBeauGan

And Stimpy, your “Why can’t we all live in peace and solve our problems by sitting around a table and coming to a reasonable compromise” schtick founders badly when either side comprises a bunch of fanatical zealots. There are fanatical zealots on both sides, some of the settlers and some of the IDF on the Israeli side, and most of the population on the so called Palestinian side. The Israeli zealots are relatively few in numbers and not very influential, but the Palestinian leaders would be assassinated within a week if they agreed to a compromise with the ebil jooz. You must surely see that there is not much symmetry in the situation.

Whether you are just ignorant of the entire business or just stirring for the hell of it I really don’t know. In either case your comments are extremely foolish.

Visitors to Tamworth from Sydney in 5 years time will see a big bright Mosque to welcome them to town. Guaranteed. You won’t be able to miss it. Right in your faces, going into and out of town. On the main highway. It’s why they chose that particular site. I drove past some tall bearded men wearing dresses on that highway a couple of years ago, wandering about. Weird sight in Tamworth. They were getting out of black BMW’s and a black mini bus. Wifey spotted them looking at another site further down the highway into town.

They didn’t look short of cash. Probably Saudi money.

I’m now thinking that Abbott would have been Australia’s greatest asset ever during a Trump presidency.

Abbots biggest problem is that he wouldn’t “attack” a hostile media when he had the chance. Then again, that’s only in hindsight. Trump was only a blimp on the radar at that stage. World leaders had no idea how to act. They now have a role model.

It calls on the European commission to fund programes to support people of African descent in the EU’s next seven-year budget and set up a dedicated team to focus on “Afrophobia

  179. From Jamie Walkie in today’s Oz –

Pauline Hanson came out swinging yesterday against the media, the Qataris, Scott Morrison — you name it. A classic performance.
She was appealing directly to her base, and history shows that One Nation supporters have stuck with her through thick and thin, though not necessarily with her party. This is the trap for Hanson.
As much as she might try to distance herself from the boozy bumbling in Washington of her acolytes James Ashby and Steve Dickson, they were acting in her name and invoked it repeatedly to prevail on the US gun lobby and conservative Right to fund One Nation.

Hanson refused to take questions yesterday and it’s just as well for her, because the killer question would have been this: “Senator Hanson, do you support the ban on automatic and semi-automatic guns that was put in place after the Port Arthur massacre?”
If the answer is yes, she must explain why she allowed Ashby and Dickson to fall into
Al Jazeera’s trap and make that appallingly ill-advised trip to the US last September.
If Hanson wants to see where the problem lies, it’s not on this page, or with the humiliating sting inflicted on One Nation by Al Jazeera, for all the ethical questions that surround its infiltration operation.
It’s staring her in the face — in the mirror.

My one takeaway from Israel, after talking to a variety of J-ws and Palis, was that the trouble is fomented from the outside, with halfwits on the inside behaving as useful idiots. Money and materiel for war was coming in from other nations with a vested interest in keeping it alive. All they wanted was for it to stop.

Normal people want a home where they can live safely and raise their children in peace. The have been denied this by interfering *rseholes. That goes as much for the J-w wanting to pray at the wall and the Pali working “across the border” in Jerusalem.

Sitting around a table might look good for the cameras. Stopping arms coming in via Gaza is more productive. Of course, Israel could cut off the water supply, electricity and food/medicine to Gaza any time they want. As it turns out, they aren’t that evil.

Yep, and to balance things out completely let’s discuss the ~ 1.25 million Europeans enslaved by the Barbary states (and the Arab slave trade many of them were sold on to).

Next, the African tribes/empires who sold slaves to the Atlantic traders for shipment to the colonies. Seems they might owe some restitution as well.

Then, let’s get over the idea that slavery was an evil white man only thing. The Arab trade of Zanj (Bantu) slaves in Southeast Africa for instance predates the European transatlantic slave trade by 700 years.

Some historians assert that as many as 17 million people were sold into slavery on the coast of the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, and North Africa, and approximately 5 million African slaves were transported by Muslim slave traders via Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and Sahara desert to other parts of the world between 1500 and 1900.

Finally, let’s admit that it is still going on to some degree almost everywhere except the west, but nobody is going to do a thing about it.

Hate speech makes democracy fragile: Wong
    Rebecca Gredley, Australian Associated Press

Australia’s democracy has become more fragile because of the normalisation of hate speech and extremist views in parliament, senior Labor figure Penny Wong says.

Senator Wong will on Friday deliver a speech in honour of being named the McKinnon Political Leader of the Year for promoting a more tolerant and inclusive Australia.

“Racism is not only unethical, it is antithetical to the values which underpin democracy,” she will say in Melbourne.

“Hate speech is inimical to democracy, it must not be normalised, it cannot be defended on grounds of freedom of speech because it inflicts real and direct harm.”

Kevin Donnelly: Academics play odd Christchurch blame game
    Kevin Donnelly, The Daily Telegraph
    March 28, 2019 6:03pm

As noted by George Orwell, “some ideas are so stupid only intellectuals believe them”. And there is no better illustration than the argument put by Australian academics Anthony Ashbolt and Nick Riemer linking the alleged perpetrator of the Christchurch tragedy to the Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation, conservative commentators and the Western tradition.

Ashbolt, an academic at the University of Wollongong, argues those who defend the West and oppose the cultural left’s long march through the institutions are somehow responsible for the actions of the alleged murderer.

Based on the belief that “attacks like those in Christchurch are carried out in the name of western values” Ashbolt argues that anyone who champions Western Civilisation, such as Tony Abbott, is guilty by association.

To support his argument Ashbolt argues the alleged Christchurch terrorist is motivated by “an ideological discourse that seeks to defend western value systems against the onslaught of political correctness”.

Nick Riemer, an academic at the University of Sydney, is equally bizarre when he also argues what occurred in Christchurch involving the wanton murder of 50 innocent Muslims is linked to those advocating the benefits of teaching Western civilisation.

Riemer writes that those supporting the establishment of a Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation must “reflect seriously on how the Ramsay curriculum validates the worldview behind Friday’s massacre”.

To hear them tell it, Western Civilisation, best epitomised by Christ’s exhortation to “love thy neighbour as thyself” and the Enlightenment’s commitment to rationality and scientific truth, is supposedly instrumental in causing terrorism and death.

According to Riemer, studying the great books of the European literary canon, as intended by the Ramsay Centre, is also destructive as it leads to “the murderous civilisational hatred displayed last Friday in Christchurch — to say nothing of the West’s longstanding, far more deadly military campaigns against the Muslim world”.

By arguing the alleged Christchurch murderer is a right-wing terrorist and driven by western supremacist ideology the two academics ignore the fact that Tarrant describes himself as an ecofascist, someone who admires China and who considers President Trump a failed policy maker and leader.

The reality, as anyone who has read Tarrant’s incoherent ramblings would appreciate, is instead of being an advocate of conservatism and Western civilisation the alleged murderer’s manifesto is the work of a psychotic and deranged individual.

It is also ironic those critical of Western civilisation and attempts to establish Ramsay centres in our universities are the very beneficiaries of the institutions and way of life they criticise and undermine.

Unlike China, Iran, Russia, Cuba and North Korea, academics in Western, liberal democracies like Australia enjoy an unheralded degree of freedom and tolerance.

Even when what they argue is nonsensical and based on their own prejudice and bias.

Dr Kevin Donnelly is a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Catholic University and author of How Political Correctness Is Destroying Australia (Wilkinson Publishing).

Wayne William Howlett jailed for shooting at Pablos Cocktails and Dreams nightclub

IT was “pure luck” that no one was injured or killed when a man fired 25 bullets into the door of a Hobart nightclub, a Supreme Court judge has said.

Justice Michael Brett on Thursday sentenced Wayne William Howlett, 38, of Glenorchy, to five years’ jail for recklessly discharging a firearm and unlawfully damaging property at Pablo’s Cocktails and Dreams bar in Hobart’s city centre on June 24 last year.

Justice Brett said while Howlett’s actions directly affected the 30 people who were at the nightclub at the time of the shooting, he also caused “widespread fear and distress in the community”.

“You brought dangerous gun violence to an otherwise safe and peaceful city,” Justice Brett said.

He said the fact that no one was injured or killed was “a matter of pure luck”.

The Supreme Court in Hobart heard Howlett had been drinking and taking illicit drugs on the night of June 23 and had exchanged text messages with a friend that Justice Brett said suggested Howlett harboured a “festering resentment” towards the Pablo’s manager.

    More ‘X’ in Lawyer X

A Victoria Police taskforce is investigating whether supergrass barrister Nicola Gobbo was having sex with police officers.

    CHIP LE GRAND
    REMY VARGA

The royal commission into the Lawyer X scandal was told Taskforce Landow, an internal inquiry into Ms Gobbo’s secret life as a police informant, was gathering evidence into “other types of relationships between Ms Gobbo and former and current members of Victoria Police’’.

Asked by commissioner Margaret McMurdo what other types of relationships were being investigated, Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Paterson said: “There has been talk of inappropriate relationships, perhaps intimate relationships, with police members.

“They are trying to discover any documentation that may exist in Victoria Police to provide that to the royal commission.’’

It has long been rumoured that members of Victoria Police, including at least one executive member of police command, had a sexual relationship with Ms Gobbo while she was a registered informant.

As the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants delves into Ms Gobbo’s love life, a blame game has broken out within Victoria Police. Her former Source Development Unit handlers and the force’s top brass are blaming the other for the Lawyer X debacle.

In 2014, Victoria’s peak anti-corruption body commissioned retired Supreme Court judge Murray Kellam to examine the affair. His 2015 report was highly critical of the SDU members who handled Ms Gobbo and described as “negligence of a high order’’ the failure of more senior officers to properly oversee and supervise their work.

The royal commission was told that, in late 2008, members of the SDU warned the top ranks of Victoria Police that exposure of Ms Gobbo’s role as an informant would jeopardise a major investigation into Tony Mokbel’s drug empire, undermine previous convictions and possibly lead to a royal commission.

The members of the SDU, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, were alarmed at plans being hatched by then deputy commissioner Simon Overland to use Ms Gobbo as a witness in its two most sensitive homicide investigations, the Briars and Petra taskforce inquiries into suspected police involvement in gangland murders.

Mr Paterson confirmed these warnings were brought to the attention of Mr Overland but were ignored. Under questioning from counsel assisting, Chris Winneke QC, he revealed that despite concerns raised by members of the SDU no legal advice was sought by Victoria Police until well after Ms Gobbo was deregistered as an informant.
