Roundup April 5

The Libertarian Calendar from Mannkal. New paper on freedom of speech and information from LibertyWorks Blocking social media is the new book-burning..

The Taxpayers Alliance Campaigns. Facebook censorship, the absurdity of electric cars, don’t limit mortgage choice, stop the UN refugee rip-off, the secret carbon tax, the bridge to nowhere at Dubbo, fair go for fishers, a cheap energy policy. Support the policies that you like!

An outstanding piece by Rene Gorman on feminism and its toxic turn.

Feminism will never have the positive and lasting impact it once had if it continues to be exclusive, reactionary and hostile to those with varying interpretations of female empowerment. When feminism only has a radical wing, the social and community backing needed to create real change will never mobilize.

Judith Curry’s roundup of climate science things for a recent week. Check out her site with a massive list of links to all the major topics in the field.

The week </strong. Vale Peter Coleman. Rest in peace, thou good and faithful servant.

Alan Moran on electricity absurdities, subsidies and more subsidies. Paul Kelly on the Greens. Steve salutes Trump. Australia leading the way on clean energy policy. Actually I think Venezuela is leading the way in reducing emissions by deindustrialization and depopulation as well! Sinc on the prospect for weird policies for new cars. Comments on the budget and the Liberal Democrat alternative.

That Renee Gorman piece is excellent!

The audience resembled something close to an angry mob, unwilling to listen to anything they disagreed with and full of entitlement that their version of feminism was the only acceptable form.

Reminds me of the audience at one of Anne Summers’ gigs. I’ve been to one. It was very scary.

Love the Roundup! A must peruse on the weekend for me.

Thanks New Chum, that is a site with great graphics!
This turned up as well, Hitler discovers there is no consensus.

Bad weather is a treat, a long list of extreme weather events since 1801 when Thomas Jefferson recorded dramatic climate change and 1803 when there was no rain in Sydney for months.
