Emily Blunt in the “Edge of Tomorrow” was the hottest gal in any movie, ever.

    Climate change politics is easy.
    Follow the money.
    Just like health & education.

  3. Fleeced

    Guess.

    Honestly can’t recall.

I’m going to see KD III tomorrow afternoon.

Apparently some fellow called John Wick’s playing the lead.

We’ll see how good he is.

  5. Stimpson J. Cat

    Who?

If I call someone Dumbo there is usually a very good reason, as normally I am incredibly kind, generous, and good natured to all of The Women.
    Especially as a lover.
    😁

    Fleeced,

    A hint:

Gay porn damages, and is a violent assault on women. Spikamaphone sometimes dinnae wok liet I should.

  7. Knuckle Dragger

    Ha!

‘I’m sure it will rub out.’

    ‘Phrasing!’

    Who?

    None of you business. 👍

  11. Fleeced

The so-called “climate emergency” is just another way to get us to kill ourselves off.

Every policy of the Left is aimed at encouraging people – but particularly white/western people to stop having kids. They push career over family, abortions, gender fluidity, gay marriage, “the world is ending”… One tip from Jordan Peterson was that if you want to know the intent of something, it’s often a good idea to look at the results. When the results are consistently the same, there’s a good chance that it’s intended.

It really is about the destruction of western civilization. Our culture is being replaced, and we are expected to simply stop existing.

It turns out the real throne was inside of us the whole time!

The majority of scientists meme, the 97%, comes from a completely falsified study by an Australian psychology PhD student called John Cook with his Get Up assistants.

It ends with a dwarf throwing competition.

    Newspoll?

Labor are ahead 53/47. Bad start for ScoMo.

    Wouldn’t these reflect last week?

And how did that turn out?

PM Morrisons task will be made easier without Abbott’s presence but with the numbers on a knife edge the likes of Joyce and Christiansen will potentially go rogue on Morrison on their own agendas

And just in case anyone has any doubt, I am quite a committed environmentalist.

I don’t like environmental degradation that removes the aesthetics of nature, as appreciated by humans. The fact that other animals and plants care little for human aesthetics (weeds and insects thrive in nasty degraded places) is often overlooked when declaring them ecological disasters: ecologies have always changed, and species have always evolved, and declined. Nothing is ever really ‘pristine’ in nature as it is, and ever has been, a battle out there: red in tooth and claw.

Humans simply have to decide which ecologies they like and what is important in them to maintain. If you like the Barrier Reef (I do) then protect it by understanding its natural cycles. If you liked the Sydney tank stream in 1790, then bad luck. Human needs came first. If you like tigers and orangutans (I do) then offer them protected habitats but recognize you are not going to go back to a time when they ranged free over all of SE Asia.

I will pick up rubbish from beaches as happily as the next Get Up or Greenie. But I won’t solve the problem their way, by banning things; I’ll simply work to improve living conditions (and rubbish removal) in the third world, so that the world’s tossers are less. That is solving a problem at source.

I am very big on that.

    Calli
My visitors thought the particulate pollution in Beijing was CO2. Seriously.
And that CO2 made up around 40% of the atmosphere, and that their grandchildren had no future because Adani.
Where do you start with that?

    Start with this:

There are a few relevant papers regarding this sort of fabrication, the Cook one being the original. Bruce of Newcastle can probably supply the details more readily than I can, as Hairy is busy. Hairy (my beloved) is very up indeed on these things, as is Bruce.

hard to argue against this when the evidence is so in your face. and they push euthanasia cause we are not dying off fast enough

    ‘GoT finale’

It fades to black during a Journey song.

  25. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Beare

That is how the left go.
During the campaign they lie, cheat, abuse, belittle, throw eggs, threaten, sneer etc etc etc.
If they win they dance on their enemies graves.
If they lose they plead for “a kinder, gentler politics” and to “heal the division”.
So, Lisa, can I politely suggest that you and your husband go get fucked.
    Loser.

+1 Delightfully sentimental. It is our time for that now.

    Great, innit?

I hear what you ate sayingg. Lizzie but noone is prepared to argue the if. So we are left with arguing the what. It’s a bit like Pell, trial where the jury gets to set the facts of the matter without any recourse to evidence or ideas of objective truth and the judge gets to make up stuff about how and why. I don’ t have a beef over Jewish or Christian belief because I understand enough about Judaism and Christianity to know theirs is a rational and even historicaly based belief (Islam’s is not imho)..Gerbil warming might be a religion but it’s hardly rational. More shamanistic. superstitious and down right fraud.

I see more of the Catallaxy Red Men’s Shed collective. has emerged from their drunken stupor to.oppress us with their progressively less gentlemanly ways.

From an organisation called No Greens:

LIBERAL DAVE SHARMER LOOKS SET TO TAKE #WENTWORTH OFF THE DIVISIVE DR KERRYN PHELPS!!! Late tonight latest voting figures indicate a clear lead for Sharma, WHICH MEANS THE LIBERAL COALITION UNDER ‘SCOMO’, WILL HAVE AN ABSOLUTE MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!!! So the only Green, Adam Bandt, and other miscellaneous Independents, will have no say whatsoever!!!

  33. None

They need + 2 if they provide the speaker

  34. The majority of scientists meme, the 97%, comes from a completely falsified study by an Australian psychology PhD student called John Cook with his Get Up assistants.

Cook is an undergraduate cartoonist who likes dressing up as a Naaaazi. Quite fitting given that the climate fraud shares it’s origins and aims with the far right of Socialism.

Cook’s “paper” was one of three that are cited for the 97% lie. The first one was by that Oreskes fraud in the noughties and there was another one a few years later which surveyed scientists with 2 very leading questions that were then manipulated into another lie.

Regardless, it wouldn’t matter if 99.999999% of scientists agreed MMGW is real, or even the opposite since science is not done by consensus.

Whenever people pull the “97% consensus” shite, simply point out that they must also therefore believe that the sun and planets orbit the Earth, that smoking is good for you and that leeches will cure sickness.
These ideas were the scientific consensus at one time and for quite a long time in the case of geocentrism.

  35. Seco

You’ve got to give it to Shorten and Turnbull, they’re like shape shifters, able to make some seemingly normally intelligent people think that they’re competent politicians. My elderly neighbours, both die hard Liberals thought that Shorten was amazing during the Beaconsfield mine collapse and were horribly surprised at how bad Turnbull turned out. They were very pleased with last nights result.

  36. Notafan

    It’s more a cult than a religion.

Lacks a rational basis, as none says.

Many years ago I took it on faith that the likes of Tim Flannery were telling the truth and had factual evidence to support their conclusions.

Now I think the climatists are either deluded or lying.

    Fool me once…
