The guidelines were contained in a document released earlier this month which was signed by Coalition of Major Professional and Participation Sports chair David Gallop, Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins and Sports Australia chief executive Kate Palmer.

two lesbians and a gay man demand that sports club put men and girls toilets. Kate Palmer is the one who believes there should be no such thing as women’s sport and that the qualification of women should be removed. David Gallop whom I would not want to see anywhere near the girls toilet or even a boy’s toilet set to coach who had concerns not just about fraternisation on the job but predatory lesbian behaviour Kate Jenkins who pushed a lot of this gender inclusiveness crap on two kids in schools by play by the rules. Lefty’s obsession with getting the hands on other people’s kids is creepy and dangerous. Parents should be up in arms and tell people in no uncertain terms to keep their hands off their kids.

Albanese pushes ALP to expel CFMEU’s Setka
Labor leader Anthony Albanese has called for the expulsion of union leader John Setka from the ALP, in a letter to the party’s national secretary Noah Carroll.

Labor Leader Anthony Albanese says Victorian union boss John Setka’s conduct is bringing the entire ALP into disrepute and he should be expelled.

In a letter to the ALP’s national secretary Noah Carroll, Mr Albanese urges the national executive to expel Mr Setka at a National Executive meeting on July 5, saying the union leader’s continued membership will “continue to cause the party to suffer harm”, The Australian reports.

“There are two reasons. One is the cumulative effect of his conduct over the last few years. The other equally if not more important reason is the adverse media coverage of his actions and how that reflects on the ALP while he remains a member,” the letter states.

After all we should not discriminate against a bloke who wakes up one day and decides that he is a woman and that he want to run against women, lift weights against women, swim against women, play tennis against women and decides that, even though he still has a penis hanging off him….he’s a biological woman.

NHS founder’s relative died after ‘neglect’ by hospital trusts
Series of blunders led to death of Roderick Bevan, great-nephew of postwar Labour health minister

A relative of Nye Bevan, the founder of the NHS, died after serious mistakes by two hospital trusts meant his lung cancer went from treatable to incurable, the Guardian can reveal.

Roderick Bevan would have survived but for the failure of two sets of doctors to tell him for more than a year that he had the disease, blunders that amounted to “neglect”, a coroner has ruled.

The deceased was a great-nephew of the health minister in the postwar Labour government who is widely revered for his role in driving through the creation of the health service in 1948.

Roderick Bevan died in May 2018 after NHS doctors diagnosed his lung cancer after a scan but did not ensure that he then underwent stereotactic ablative radiotherapy – treatment that if he had had it at the time was expected to cure him. The retired caretaker, who lived in Grantham in Lincolnshire, was 66 when he died. A catalogue of blunders meant that he was never offered the radiotherapy.

    ….
However, neither doctors from there nor from the University Hospitals Leicester trust, to where his care was transferred, told him he had lung cancer until January last year – 15 months later – by which time the NHS could no longer save his life. It emerged at the inquest into his death that medical staff at both trusts had a series of opportunities to break the news to him during those 15 months, when he attended appointments for the aneurysm, but did not do so.

And in the article you may also notice no-one sacked for allowing this bloke to die.
No accountability, no skin in the game, its asking for everything to stay the same.

It does not involve any violence*, any wish to deprive them of rights or anything like that. It is just them having a negative opinion (which is binding on everyone) of the opinion of someone else (who is not even entitled to their own opinion).

T#rrorists’ Aussie kids rescued from Syrian camp

Eight Australian children, including the offspring of notorious Australian t#rrorist Khaled Sharrouf, have been evacuated from a Syrian refugee camp in a highly secret operation to rescue the orphaned children of slain Australian Izlamic State fighters from the remnants of the so-called cOliphate.

Yesterday, about 4.30pm Australian time, a convoy of vehicles moved into a refugee camp in northern Syria and picked up eight children, including Zaynab Sharrouf, Khaled’s heavily pregnant daughter.

In what amounts to the first organised return of Australians from the conflict zone, the children were collected by staff from a local aid agency, and driven overland into a coalition-controlled area of Iraq.

The Australian has been asked to withhold the exact location of the children’s final destination for security reasons.

It was the first stage in a long journey that will involve them being flown through transit hubs in the Middle East and elsewhere, then home to Australia where state authorities — and the community — will begin the challenging task of reintegrating broken and traumatised children into the society their parents abandoned. Scott Morrison confirmed the operation, welcoming the fact that children had been freed from the “bleak and complicated’’ situation in Syria.

“Repatriating these children was not a decision the Australian government made lightly,’’ the Prime Minister said. “Australia’s national security and the safety of our people and personnel have always been our most important considerations in this matter.’’

    From the Oz. FMD.

Haha, KD. I see it’s “freezing” in Darwin. Temp now below 16C (note for southerners: In Darwin, 17C is considered freezing).

I feel for you. Not. I just had to get out of bed and turn on the gas-guzzling electric heater it is so cold. In southern Vicco, it got down to 0.5C. It’s now 1.9, but still below freezing in towns like Kyabram (hi, Mark A!) and through Western Vic and the alps.

I wonder how many frail old people will die of hypothermia this morning because they couldn’t afford to turn on our rich virtue-signallers’ 19th century electricity system.

Orphaned children of slain Australian Islamic State fighters, including those of infamous terrorist Khaled Sharrouf, are on their way home in a secret mission to free them from the “bleak and complicated” situation in Syria, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed.

The Australian reports a local aid agency collected eight Australian children from a refugee camp in northern Syria over the weekend and drove them to a safe zone in Iraq before they undertake a long journey through the Middle East before arriving home.

The Sharrouf children, taken to Syria to join father Khaled who shocked the world when he posted a picture of his now-dead son Abdullah holding a Syrian official’s severed head, are Humzeh, 8, Hoda, 16, and Zaynab, 17, who is expected to have a baby this week.

Heres the beardy werdies kids story..

Children of Isis terrorist Khaled Sharrouf removed from Syria, set to return to Australia
Five Sharrouf children and three orphans of another Isis fighter, Yasin Rizvic, spirited out of country

The eight children crossed into Iraqi Kurdistan at 3:30pm local time on Sunday into the care of Australian officials, and the Guardian has been asked not to disclose further geographical information for security reasons.

Sharrouf’s 17-year-old daughter, Zaynab, is heavily pregnant and has had health problems. Also repatriated were Zaynab’s two children, her younger teenage sister Hoda and their brother Hamzeh – who is under 10. They have been reunited with their maternal grandmother, Karen Nettleton.

All eight children are headed for Australia, but the Sharrouf children’s return will be delayed because of the impending birth of Zaynab’s baby.

But dont worry, ScoMo is not making the decision to bring back weirdoes lightly!!!

The Australian prime minister, Scott Morrison said the decision to repatriate the children was not made “lightly”.

“As I have said repeatedly, my government would not allow any Australian to be put at risk,” he said.

“The fact that parents put their children into harm’s way by taking them into a war zone was a despicable act.

“However, children should not be punished for the crimes of their parents.”

That’s 8 m************ who are going to be a burden on our welfare system for the rest of their f****** lives and the lives of their kids and grandkids. They have no right to be here. Their parents renounced Australia and plotted harm against Australia and her allies. The children were not born here, we don’t want them here and we certainly couldn’t give a f****** s*** about their useless grandmother. We don’t fly out other people’s kids with their own special travel arrangements and healthcare and where f****** expanding how many hundreds of thousands of dollars for these m*********** terrorist spawn? Sorry, I grossly over-estimated Bandana’s “champion rugger career” by a factor of three.
    Seven (7) caps in 1989/90.
Let’s go to the tape of David Campese on Bandana-man …

Former Wallabies winger David Campese has criticised FitzSimons for starting a brawl in Australia’s first Test against France in 1990. Campese labelled FitzSimons’ actions “a disgrace to the good name of rugby” and asserted that “he was doing the game and its reputation enormous damage.” Campese cautioned that if such fights “turn even one family away from the game, then they have been too costly”.

It would be great if a Twatter-Cat could remind Bandana of that.

Peter Dutton claims asylum seekers and refugees on Manus Island and Nauru are refusing resettlement offers in the United States because of the medevac legislation, claiming 250 applications for medical transfer were currently being reviewed by “activist” doctors.

Despite conceding last week the US was “unlikely” to resettle 1,250 refugees under the deal Malcolm Turnbull struck with the then US president, Barack Obama, and begrudgingly held to by Donald Trump, Dutton said the medevac legislation had upended the process and claimed asylum seekers and refugees were still holding out for Australia.

  101. Mother Lode

reportedly prompting shoppers to consume less and delay purchases because they’re unable to carry groceries.

And my point still remains – if the ban was predicated upon the number of bags making it into our waterways then how pray do these bags get there?

People use as many bags as they need to carry their shopping. They get home with their shopping and what do they do with the bags then. Most people put them in a drawer or one of those fabric tube things so you can grab a bag whenever you want. Maybe for garbage. Maybe for carrying dog turds. Someone with already as many bags as they want put them in the bin.

They all end up in the bin. It would involve extra inconvenience getting the damn things to rivers or creeks. No doubt some are carelessly discarded in parks when that was the end destination, but that was always a laughably small proportion, and most people use the bags for carrying the garbage to the public bin.

The whole things was always a nonsense.

Still there is the fact that these reduced and deferred purchases would be hurting Colesworths and the stores that leapt on this ‘brilliant’ cost cutting measure and pleasing all those ‘concerned citizens’ who share five or sic IP addresses, in the form of reduced revenue.

    Suffer in your jocks!

“Today we will be closing Israel Folau’s campaign and issuing full refunds to all donors. After a routine period of evaluation, we have concluded that this campaign violates our terms of service,” said Nicola Britton, GoFundMe’s Australia Regional Manager.
“As a company, we are absolutely committed to the fight for equality for LGBTIQ people and fostering an environment of inclusivity. While we welcome GoFundMes engaging in diverse civil debate, we do not tolerate the promotion of discrimination or exclusion.

According to the terms and conditions on the website, users may not attempt to raise money “for the legal defence of … intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases”.

EggBoy had a GFM campaign for legal defence.

And what about the haters of religious affiliation.

#BREAKING GoFundMe has removed Israel Folau’s fundraising campaign, saying it “violates our terms of service”. He had been raising money to pay for legal action against Rugby Australia after he was sacked over a series of homophobic social media posts

Very strange that it took GoFundMe three days to discover there was a violation on the #1 trending campaign. Probably not staffed over the weekend?

I wonder how GoFundMe will explain how it is OK for Sarah Hanson-Young to fund her defamation case using its website but it is not OK for Israel Folau to try and vindicate his legal rights by raising funds on its website. An enormous double standard I think.

It is OK for an extreme left wing politician to seek to vindicate her legal rights, but not OK for a person claiming religious discrimination to seek to show he has been treated unlawfully.

We live in an age of rapidly creeping totalitarianism by the politically correct who appear to have a vice like grip on all corporates.

What are the terms & conditions for a GFM campaign?
This is the part in question. It produces a conflict between religious affiliation and sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity:

    8. campaigns we deem, in our sole discretion, to be in support of, or for the legal defense of alleged crimes associated with hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism, or intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases;

How can you rely on a matter that is in dispute? It begs the question. Falou denies the claim that his tweet was ‘homophobic’. Falou ought to sue GoFundMe Australia. If we are to take this condition seriously, GoFundMe is saying that anyone that is accused of any of the above, say, to be topically, a local football club that does not want to institute the new guideline re gender, that they cannot attempt to fund any legal defence via GoFundMe if they are accused of being transphobic because the accusation is enough to exclude them from GoFundMe’s terms of service. This is beyond a travesty.

I wish to congratulate and wholeheartedly commend your CEO Bronwyn Klei for the nuanced, mature, measured and proportionate response in relation to Maria Folau’s support of her husband. That there have been those who have sought to have Maria Folau lose her job is simply unconscionable beyond belief.

Through you Board and CEO the organisation has responded fairly and steadfastly in light of so much irresponsible public excoriation of people who follow a religious faith.

    Thank you

  203. Slim Cognito

I expect there will be another way to donate in time.

As None pointed out, the terms and conditions refer to defence of “criminal allegations” of which this his not.

I suspect the lawyers will be looking closely at a cause of action against GFM for discrimination. Just another to add to the list.

  204. Tom

Will Go Fund Me be keeping their slice?
That would be just the icing on the cake.

The new CEO of GoFundMe Australia is a Pommy PR hack named Nicola Britton. She previously worked as an activist at change.org and for the UK “Department of health on national and regional behaviour change campaigns”. On other words, she’s an unhinged SJW.

She has zero experience of running a real business (her only qualification is a BA). I’d say she simply made up the bit about Folau violating GoFundMe’s terms of service because it felt good. Izzy should lawyer up and sue immediately. If so, I’d predict a quick and comprehensive victory.

  205. Go Fund goes.
    Another leftist ‘success’.

Not a “Leftist” success – but a failure of an organised hate campaign.
It didn’t begin like that, but the issue was hi-jacked by the usual suspects, so many of whom post here, and used to belt the more tolerant in the community about the ears.

Maybe the Parrot’s’ shameful manipulation of the issue has something to answer for.

The only upside is that the silks won’t get a publicly funded windfall.

The elites erupt with indignation that hoi polloi are not on board with them and the voice of anyone who voices this is considered controversial. The controversy is actually the elites, no one else.

Pat O’Shane slams Cape York income management welfare programme

Australia’s first Aboriginal magistrate Pat O’Shane has been appointed to a key income management job on Cape York, but has slammed income management as an “extreme punishment”.

The Australian reported last week that Ms O’Shane was the Queensland government’s preferred candidate to head the Family Responsibilities Commission, the centrepiece of Aboriginal leader Noel Pearson’s welfare reform program in five Cape York communities.

Outgoing commissioner David Glasgow retires this week.

But in an extraordinary interview with ABC Radio National today, Ms O’Shane says she fundamentally disagrees with the key role of the FRC — the ability for local commissioners to quarantine welfare payments for community residents who fail to send their kids to school or are charged with criminal offences.

“To penalise, to inflict or impose, a monetary penalty on people who are impoverished…is an extreme punishment indeed and I have absolutely no truck with that kind of behaviour from officials,” Ms O’Shane told the ABC.

She said she was due to start her role next Monday, after being personally approached by Queensland Deputy Premier and Aboriginal affairs minister Jackie Trad and her director-general Chris Sarra.

From the Oz. This will all go down really well…

Smartly handled, this should pave the way for $3 million into a lawyers’ trust account, courtesy of people who are worried that 10,000 expressed opinions are so easily shut down by a cabal. And whatever else certainly ensures that a dispute in a (very) minority sport has become a front and centre issue for people with no interest at all in the Qantas Wallabies.

I have been buying laundry and cleaning items in small lots online from discount outlets. They come in plastic containers and plastic packaging in boxes and use fossil fuels to be delivered but no 15c plastic bags

We have a Coles within 300m of where we live. Since the plastic bag ban, Mrs D shops that day for the stuff we need, and we are seriously considering downsizing our fridge for a bar fridge & small freezer.

A typical day’s shop will only half fill the shopping bag, including the 2l milk – AND it is always an Aldi branded bag she uses (she would rather pay Aldi for a bag, than pay ColesWorths). She enjoys walking there, and refuses to use the self serve checkouts, and if she has forgotten something, or a if a particularly good special is on bulky non-perishable items,eg toilet paper, she will go back several times to add to our ‘bulk’ store ( contains about 6months toilet paper, 1 years supply shampoo, soaps, toothpaste bleach etc etc, 3 months laundry & dish liquids, anti-stink, shaving cream etc, tins of baked beans, fish etc) – Mrs D loves saving money, and by buying on special today she avoids price hikes over the next few days

Previously she would do week’s shop at a time*, and she now insists on using cash (it increases Cole’s costs as well) , whereas before she would use a card.

If there is a special on at Woolies for non perishables, she will take the car to our local woollies (9km away) grab only that special and times her trip to pick me up on her way home (she overshoots me to get to the Woolies), saving me a bus fare.
