Ok Roger I see you where you coming from -thanks – but it also has the potential of banning any public quotation of the Bible and as I said this is what some homosexualist activistd have been wanting to do.

Oh yes, I don’t doubt that.

    Actual ANZ boardroom interview minutes.

Netball association: Well one day I was at home threatening the kids when I looks out through the hole in the wall and sees this tank pull up and out gets one of ANZ boys, so he comes in nice and friendly and says ANZ wants to have a word with me, so he chains me to the back of the tank and takes me for a scrape round to ANZ place and ANZ there in the conversation pit with the pyrate and Andrew Marr, the baby crusher, and two film producers and a man they called ‘Mrs Pyrate’, who just sat there biting the heads of whippets and ANZ says ‘I hear you’ve been a naughty boy Mrs Falou’ and he splits me nostrils open and saws me leg off and pulls me liver out and I tell him my name’s not Mrs Falou and then… he loses his temper and nails me head to the floor.

Interviewer: He nailed your head to the floor?

    Netball association: At first yeah

Presenter: Another man who had his head nailed to the floor was customers.

Interviewer: I’ve been told ANZ Piranha nailed your head to the floor.

Customers: No. Never. He was a smashing bloke. He used to buy his mother flowers and that. He was like a brother to me.

Interviewer: But the police have film of ANZ actually nailing your head to the floor.

Customer: (pause) Oh yeah, he did that.

    Interviewer: Why?

Customer: Well he had to, didn’t he? I mean there was nothing else he could do, be fair. I had transgressed the unwritten law.

    Interviewer: What had you done?

Customer: Er… well he didn’t tell me that, but he gave me his word that it was the case, and that’s good enough for me with old ANZ. I mean, he didn’t *want* to nail my head to the floor. I had to insist. He wanted to let me off. He’d do anything for you, ANZ would.

Interviewer: And you don’t bear him a grudge?

Customer: A grudge! Old ANZ. He was a real darling.

Interviewer: I understand he also nailed your wife’s head to a coffee table. Isn’t that true Mrs Customer?

Mrs Customer: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Customer: Well he did do that, yeah. He was a hard man. Vicious but fair

So glad I still receive my regular CEC email updates – an excerpt:

Thought police risk World War III

    Malcolm Fraser vs the media
Anyone questioning the official establishment version of major events is viciously attacked. Even former Prime Ministers! Malcolm Fraser set off alarm bells with his 2014 book Dangerous Allies; he called to close Pine Gap and exposed the 1997 neoconservative Project for the New American Century, which initiated the subsequent regime-change wars. In a 9 May 2014 radio interview with Jon Faine on ABC 774, Fraser explained why Israel deliberately attacked the USS Liberty, an attack in 1967 that left 34 dead and 173 wounded. “The Americans tried to cover it up”, said Fraser. “It wasn’t a mistake. It was deliberate.”
In a typical example of mainstream media enforcement of groupthink, Faine ridiculed and insulted Australia’s former PM for daring to think such a thing: “It borders on the beliefs that some people have, which I have always thought were completely insane, about conspiracy theories like 9/11 and the like. And people believe all sorts of nonsense that they choose to then pursue, with no foundation whatsoever. You can’t make that sort of a claim without backing it up, can you, even if you’re Malcolm Fraser and you used to be the Prime Minister.”
Testimony from several high-ranking naval officers proves Fraser was right. Admiral Thomas Moorer described the USS Liberty attack as “one of US history’s most shocking cover-ups” in an article in the 16 January 2004 issue of Stars and Stripes. The USS Liberty Veterans Association states the attack was indeed deliberate. But in response to the Faine/Fraser interview, Australia/Israel and Jooish Affairs Council (AIJAC) national chairman Mark Leibler said Fraser’s claim was a “mad, demented conspiracy theory”.

    But wait, there’s more!

But Bracken did not cite any outlandish 9/11 conspiracy theory, of which numerous exist online. He merely attempted to discuss some scientific principles, which thousands of qualified professionals have raised. The Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth) now number 3,145 qualified architects and engineers, and bar few exceptions the media has refused to address their concerns. These highly qualified experts provide evidence that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were not brought down by fire, but something akin to a controlled demolition. They pose many questions which show the official version of events make no sense.

This is a rather interesting situation. The agnostic Latham defends freedom of religion and freedom of speech for Christians, but the Christian PM cowardly refuses to make a comment.

Morrison knows that his own Hillsong happyclappyness is only barely tolerated by the armies of the progressive left – who are making a list and checking it twice – because he doesn’t actively deploy it against fashionable causes.

Even the mildest support by Morrison for any of the Folau issues and the shitstorm of rage would be unendurable and everlasting – and the deemed suicides would be uncountable.

There are a few times when an MP has to vote against the mob rule in his own electorate and the same sex marriage bill was one of them for the very reasons that we are seeing today. Unfortunately too many of our politicians were unable to articulate what was really at stake having been drowned out by the vacuous marriage equality sloganeering. Even atheists like Brendan O’Neill had been warning for years about the authoritarianism that is same sex marriage it’s basically invites government right into your bedroom and allows government to determine even your own relationships. I can forgive the generally uninformed sentimentalist fuckwitted public but I can’t forgive MPS who are actually elected to protect the citizenry.

Can’t have proles escaping indoctrination, can we?
It’s fun that the kiddies are reaching graduation and finding the outcome not too flash:

The Continuing Crisis of Higher Ed (26 Jun)

Two-Thirds of American Employees Regret Their College Degrees

The story emphasizes student loan debt as the primary driver of this regret. But the story arguably “buries the lede,” which you find when you delve deeper into the survey results:

“Most satisfied: Those with science, technology, engineering and math majors, who are typically more likely to enjoy higher salaries, reported more satisfaction with their college degrees. About 42% of engineering grads and 35% of computer science grads said they had no regrets.

Most regrets: Humanities majors, who are least likely to earn higher pay post-graduation, were most likely to regret their college education. About 75% of humanities majors said they regretted their college education. About 73% of graduates who studied social sciences, physical and life sciences, and art also said the same.”

There you go. Not only is it that graduates who are dissatisfied are the ones who did the lefty degrees, but three quarters of them were unhappy.

So Ms Carrot’s plan for education would work just as well as all lefty initiatives: the kids would escape in droves to tech colleges and become tradies.

state schools should be modernised so all children are educated by classroom teachers from a departmentally-approved curriculum about major world religions and non-religious views, rather than the current practice of segregating children by religion to receive faith instruction from volunteers largely without teaching experience or qualifications. As parents are free to attend to their children’s faith development in their own time, state school time must be used to present religion in an educational, respectful and inclusive manner.

Crap I thought it was about getting religion out of public schools not putting SJW’s in charge.

  34. It's Remarkable

Email just received from Rugby Australia. One has to scroll down a long way to find this bit:
Just briefly, as I’m sure you’ve seen some of the media coverage regarding the Israel Folau matter, I thought I could offer some clarification on where Rugby Australia stands.

I want to make clear that Rugby Australia has acted with complete professionalism and integrity at all times through the process by which Israel was found, by an independent three-member tribunal panel, to have made multiple, serious breaches of the Professional Players Code of Conduct. The panel found the breaches constituted a high level and directed Rugby Australia to terminate Israel’s contract.

This is an employment matter and does not concern his religious beliefs or his ability to express them freely. If some of you follow Israel’s social accounts, you will have noticed he has posted religious material freely and openly over the last few years.

The media attention it has garnered is obviously distracting as it means that we aren’t talking about, and celebrating, all the great things going on in our game.

Seems to be a ‘we did nothing wrong, nothing to see here, move along please’…

  35. Bruce of Newcastle

observed an increase in Veillonella relative abundance in marathon runners postmarathon and isolated a strain of Veillonella atypica from stool samples. Inoculation of this strain into mice significantly increased exhaustive treadmill run time. Veillonella utilize lactate as their sole carbon source, which prompted us to perform a shotgun metagenomic analysis in a cohort of elite athletes, finding that every gene in a major pathway metabolizing lactate to propionate is at higher relative abundance postexercise. Using 13C3-labeled lactate in mice, we demonstrate that serum lactate crosses the epithelial barrier into the lumen of the gut. We also show that intrarectal instillation of propionate is sufficient to reproduce the increased treadmill run time performance observed

Stool samples from elite marathon runners were analysed, and rectally introduced into mice.

Mice then capable of getting on their little treadmills and running like shit.

    Classical Music is Inherently Racist

Western classical music is not about culture. It’s about whiteness. It’s a combination of European traditions which serve the specious belief that whiteness has a culture—one that is superior to all others. Its main purpose is to be a cultural anchor for the myth of white supremacy. In that regard, people of color can never truly be pioneers of Western classical music. The best we can be are exotic guests: entertainment for the white audiences and an example of how Western classical music is more elite than the cultures of people of color.

A large cost component of mining involves acquiring what the ABC likes to call “a social license to operate”. Consent agreements are typically hundreds of pages long, and require extensive recurrent reporting to both state and federal governments. Those hundreds of employees are doing the very extensive paperwork the federal government imposes on mining companies.

The young are regarded as the most tolerant generation. That’s why results of this LGBTQ survey are ‘alarming’

Young people are growing less tolerant of LGBTQ individuals, a jarring turn for a generation traditionally considered embracing and open, a survey released Monday shows.

The number of Americans 18 to 34 who are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018 – the only age group to show a decline, according to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report. And that is down from 63% in 2016.

Driving the dilution of acceptance are young women whose overall comfort levels plunged from 64% in 2017 to 52% in 2018, says the survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD.

“We count on the narrative that young people are more progressive and tolerant,” John Gerzema, CEO of The Harris Poll, told USA TODAY. “These numbers are very alarming and signal a looming social crisis in discrimination.”

    Among the findings:

    • 36% of young people said they were uncomfortable learning a family member was LGBTQ, compared with 29% in 2017.

    • 34% were uncomfortable learning their doctor was LGBTQ vs. 27% a year earlier.

    • 39% were uncomfortable learning their child had a school lesson on LGBTQ history vs. 30% in 2017.

The UK’s education secretary Damian Hinds has said that all children from the age of four will have mandatory lessons on same-sex relationships in keeping with the “diversity of our society”.

In a written statement, Mr Hinds said the Conservative government had “brought forward measures requiring the introduction of compulsory relationships education for all pupils in primary schools, compulsory relationships and sex education for all pupils in secondary schools, and compulsory health education for all pupils in state-funded schools from September 2020”.

The Department for Education’s secretary said that the government wants all small children to learn about the varied “loving, healthy relationships” in society, explaining that the changes to how — and whether — children should be taught about personal relationships was “at the heart of preparing children for life in modern Britain”.

“Our new guidance is clear that children should leave school having learnt about LGBT relationships,” Mr Hinds asserted, adding: “I would strongly encourage schools to discuss with children in class that there are all sorts of different, strong and loving families, including families with same-sex parents, while they are at primary school.”

Also on Tuesday, Mr Hinds unveiled official guidance for ‘online education’ which includes teaching pupils about the dangers of sexting and online pornography when pupils are being taught about technology and the internet.

IT’S TIME TO LET CLASSICAL MUSIC DIE

    Is this for real?

This is the nincompoop kid responsible for that article.

Nebal Maysaud is a composer based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Since buying his first notation software in 2009, Nebal has grown to become an impactful, award-winning composer. His music is a convergence of faith and identity, asking the big questions in his most personal way. Nebal is a strong activist, who uses his artwork to advocate for the traditionally silenced. His music is influenced by different artists of various traditions, including Vaughan Williams, Khalil Gibran, Arvo Part, Walt Whitman, Fairuz, and J.S. Bach.
Nebal Maysaud is a deeply spiritual thinker. He minored in Religious Studies while at Lawrence University, and maintained a steady fascination with how the universe is perceived and understood. His fascination with the mysteries of the universe, combined with his dedication towards justice and equality, creates a sound profile that is unique and universal. His works emphasize openness across religions and identities, revealing religion as a source of spirituality while also a source of suffering through abuse of power

In a statement released on Thursday, Castle reiterated the organisation’s stance as having “acted with complete professionalism”.
“I thought I could offer some clarification on where Rugby Australia stands,” Castle’s statement read.
“I want to make clear that Rugby Australia has acted with complete professionalism and integrity at all times through the process by which Israel was found, by an independent three-member tribunal panel, to have made multiple, serious breaches of the Professional Players Code of Conduct.
“The panel found the breaches constituted a high level and directed Rugby Australia to terminate Israel’s contract.

“The media attention it has garnered is obviously distracting as it means that we aren’t talking about, and celebrating, all the great things going on in our game.”

But as Castle took a more diplomatic approach, NSW Rugby chairman Roger Davis made a plea for the saga to be settled outside of court.
Davis urged for the case to be finished with the cost will prove too great for RA to be proven correct.
“You can die for a principle or be pragmatic. No one is going to win here,” Davis said via the Sydney Morning Herald.
“It is in the best interests of the game to mediate a solution to this, but it will require both sides to move off their preferred position.
“We understand the sensitivities that everyone has but we would hope there is a pragmatic solution here that respects every side of the debate.”

The aboriginal beach case turns on whether Crown land has been allocated, that is specifically designated as being for the enjoyment or some such word for the punters otherwise the right of access and use of the Crown land is not an interest understood by the relevant LT legislation and the public use remains a privilege which can be trumped by a valid LT claim.

Likely Izzy has friends or acquaintances who are gay too.

For a champion of Western culture, and one who has many times referred to its Christian heritage, he seems to have a remarkably incomplete understanding of Christianity, and hence the significance of what Izzy said.

Firstly, as has been noticed here many times, out of the scattergun of sinners only gays were offended. Why is that?

And if a religious person prays for the redemption of an atheist (for example) should the atheist really be angry at the religious person: they are offering the atheist the best and highest thing they possess.

For his omnivorous reading and conspicuous affection for artworks I think Bolta is not a subtle thinker. He can catch gross inconsistencies and hypocrisy, and for his column and TV show that is enough, but this is a little outside his field.

I’m putting money on both.

Since a minority of voters supported something they didn’t understand and our law makers loosened their belts and bent over, it is now compulsory for public figures to endorse homosexualism.

The email form Rugby Australia contains this:

Bolt: “I don’t like his attitude towards gays which he justifies by quoting the Bible”.

    He is either saying

    1) That Izzy doesn’t like gays for non-Biblical reasons and is using the Bible to conceal his true reasons (If his attitudes were based on the Bible and he then quotes that same source we would not need to speak of ‘justifying’) or

    2) That Izzy is selectively quoting from the Bible to convey an impression other than that which the Bible conveys on the whole. (So what does Bolta think the Bible says about gays that is inconsistent to the overall spirit of the book?)

“In 1917 Bolshevik Russia was awash with libertine fag haggery.”

Thoughout history, all societies and cultures on the verge of collapse are awash with homosexuality, transgenderism, sexual immorality and various perversions. Camilla Paglia talks about this…she knows history and she has spoken at length about the current transgender mania….she says (her words) “the explosion of gender identities is a recurring sign of cultural collapse throughout the history of civilization.” She also talks about how western society is awash with effeminate men…another sign of a culture about to collapse…this happened at the end of the Roman Empire where the society collapsed in part due to excessive hedonism. So now in 2019….we live in a society where “progressives” encourage, condone and even celebrate ten year old boys who dress up as trannies and dance in a room filled with hedonistic homosexual men…many of whom would happily have sex with that ten year old in a heart beat…..is a very clear harbinger of an ugly societal collapse.

Basically what Bolt is saying motherLode and bolt I don’t think has ever met Izzy Folau – what bolt is saying is that he knows what Izzy really really thinks and it is distasteful to him and he won’t change his mind because Izzy forms his opinions from the Bible and and bolts thinks the Bible is either hateful or it can be interpreted to say something it does not.

Here is the irony. That verse which is actually part of a unit of thought that extends for about three verses is addressed to Christians and lays out the fact that all sorts of sinners will not inherit the kingdom of god ( and that this is very inclusive as it covers everybody on the planet) and then it continues by saying and such were some of you. It is actually reminding Christians of their sinful past and the profound gift of their rescue from a fate worse than death, if I could put it in those terms.

I once got an email from Bolt which I need to find and forward back to him with a couple of reminders. He can have whatever opinion he likes on gays and on the Bible but he doesn’t get to misrepresent what somebody else thinks and believes. Izzy is basically doing what all Evangelical Christians believe they should do and in fact it really is a duty of all Christians and that is just to share their faith and that entails sharing it in both word and deed and how you live your entire life and conduct yourself. Is it is just doing it to the best of his ability based on what he knows and understands at this point in his life. There’s not an ounce of malice in that man’s body but it is clear to me that some are deliberately misrepresenting him even if many others are just simply malicious towards him because of who he is.
