Trump ad focused on The Squad

First PDT says it, most people then say, no way these people are such barbaric scum, and then they say it themselves proving that yes, they are indeed as barbaric scum as they sound. The assumption behind the ad is that most Americans are not such barbaric scum, but you never know.

Let the squad keep campaigning for change. Voters can decide.

    Great Ad,
    The Orange Man is on top of his game and showing up these twats for what they are;
confused, bigoted, unethical, anti-democracy, desperate and just plain dumb.

  4. Muddy

This is what conservatives everywhere need to be doing – positioning their opponents and taking the initiative, rather than meekly responding using defensive verbal and body language. Stop apologising for ‘offending’ people who will never share the same values or want the same positive outcomes for everyone.

Ads like this will not always work, or be practical, in every circumstance. However, the intention behind it – to lead rather than follow, is a very positive one (as is using their own words).

Those Trump excerpts are from the North Carolina rally which Beto O’Rourke compared to a Nazi rally.

It’s a race to the bottom for the Dems.

  6. Ubique

The Democrats are the socially divisive party; the Democrats are the party of polarisation.

Trump now into $1.88 for 2020 with Beteasy.

Market was around $2.70 about 4 months ago.

    Gold. Absolutely gold.

Those 4 should tread very warily.

You know what has happened to all the others who have trodden on Killary KKKlinton’s toes.

Change of topic, but exciting news (one hopes) – here’s a snippet published 40 minutes ago by The Australian, quoting Rod Sims, Chair of the ACCC:

[email protected] boss Rod Sims on increasing regulatory oversight on @Google [email protected]: These platforms are publishers, and thus should be subject to the same laws as traditional media

It’s here, for those with access.

    Also from that piece:

“In many ways they are publishers and so we have to make sure we break that distinction that’s been there before,” Mr Sims said on Sky News’ Business Weekend this morning.

My concern is that the administration will be distracted by the fake news angle (which is really just an industry plea to get government backing to censor conservative political opponents), but I’m still very interested to see senior public servants stating outright that Google and Facebook are publishers.

Watch this space. If it gets rolled back immediately by the government, that’ll be a sign in itself.

Pretty sure Susan Woah Vicky is deleting likes and comments.

Great ad. Trump is a lock in 2020.

  14. Jim Rose

David Axelrod tweeted that the whole point of Trump tweeting on the squad was to force the rest of the Democrats to rush to defend them, making them the face of the Democratic party in 2020.

The truth hurts so he deleted that tweet a few days later

We had the hand bag hit squad here in Oz back in the TLS era. And now we have very similar players to the US squad e.g. Yami.. Sounds like something from the Allinski playbook.

Never mind The Squad, just consider the Democratic candidates.

They all put their hands up in the June debates in support of free health care for illegal immigrants.

Meanwhile, about 12% of Americans have no health cover.

(Oh yes, they have a plan to address that as well. What could go wrong?)

Tulsi is their best candidate, but I called it a long time ago, that the machine will push for and pick Kamala Harris.

I predict, as I have before, that Maggie Hassan, who is an anti-Trump by her career and characteristics, will be picked as her VP and much “smarter” than “hick” Mike Pence.

Awesome. For all those who wondered why America chose Obama over McCain and Romney: because America was waiting for this. Plenty more to do, but Trump’s the man, no doubt.

LOL… Love it. But you don’t want to burn through the Squad too soon. You want to keep them in the public eye as the face of the Democrat Party, scaring the bejesus outta moderates Dem voters for as long as you can.

Let’s look at how many jobs Trump has created for black America, his cache in hip-hop culture and how many black men he might release from gaol given the US’s awful tendency in recent decades to overcriminalise the law.

  24. Ubique

Time for the Donald to point out that the Democrats are the party of the KKK.

1860 USA election upset many Dems.

Isn’t Trump preaching to the converted? Will any independent voters listen to him?

Isn’t Trump preaching to the converted? Will any independent voters listen to him?

I don’t think it matters. He is getting all the key democrat and conservative voters. That’s the real story. That there is very little difference between them anymore and a statist running on democrat policies from the 1920’sis going to win in 2020.
    He doesn’t need the independents.

Of course anyone who is not a leftist should be appalled by this, but this is Australia’s leading Right Wing Blog, so you can’t expect right wing positions here.

  28. Crossie

The ad is too long, it should be broken into ten second grabs and played closer to the election just to remind people of what those four think and plan for the rest of the population.

No need to worry, that lot are attention addicts and will make many more such proclamations.

  30. BorisG

I don’t think moderate democrats listen to Trump. The way the squad behaves, they can scare moderates without help from trump. It is not like they hide their agenda.

  31. Tator

BorisG, Trump doesn’t need the independents, he just needs to mobilise his base and get them to vote as voting is not compulsory in the US. What he needs is to keep the vote he got in 2016 in the places he got it which is in heartland USA. Not the fantasy lands of New York and California.

  32. cohenite

Great ad but this should be par for the course. Trump is the greatest POTUS ever because apart from making the economy strong, opposing destructive commie policies like alarmism and gender diversity etc he has made the left reveal themselves and he has acted towards the revealed left as the left itself acts: he is implacable and unrelenting. This is what the conservative, non-left side of politics has to do to beat the left. This is existential and I believe if Trump had not won we would not be discussing this. We would not be able.

  33. Jef

That’s what you get for not really having a vetted immigration system….TROUBLE !And they have enough of immigrant voters to vote these rats into Congress !
