How to survive the climate apocalypse. Eat more meat! + John Cleese and GWPF roundup

From the New Yorker.

All-out war on climate change made sense only as long as it was winnable. Once you accept that we’ve lost it, other kinds of action take on greater meaning. Preparing for fires and floods and refugees is a directly pertinent example. But the impending catastrophe heightens the urgency of almost any world-improving action. In times of increasing chaos, people seek protection in tribalism and armed force, rather than in the rule of law, and our best defense against this kind of dystopia is to maintain functioning democracies, functioning legal systems, functioning communities. In this respect, any movement toward a more just and civil society can now be considered a meaningful climate action. Securing fair elections is a climate action. Combatting extreme wealth inequality is a climate action. Shutting down the hate machines on social media is a climate action. Instituting humane immigration policy, advocating for racial and gender equality, promoting respect for laws and their enforcement, supporting a free and independent press, ridding the country of assault weapons—these are all meaningful climate actions. To survive rising temperatures, every system, whether of the natural world or of the human world, will need to be as strong and healthy as we can make it.

And eat “long pig” as the islanders used to say!

Climate scientists hit back at Dilbert!

John Cleese on political correctness (only two minutes).

Global Warming Policy Forum report.
German car industry in crisis, Renewables Threaten German Economy & Energy Supply,BBC Exposes Britain’s Solar Panel Con, James Cook University Ordered To Pay Peter Ridd $1.2m For Unlawful Dismissal, Trump’s Science Advisor Says Climate Scientists Must Improve Climate Models, Democrats Beware: Americans Won’t Pay Your Carbon Taxes, and Finally: Ship With Climate Change Warriors Caught In Arctic Ice, Warriors Evacuated.

The German Green energy transition. Can it get worse??

For three days in June 2019, the electricity grid came close to black-outs. “Only short-term imports from neighboring countries were able to stabilize the grid,” the consultancy notes.

“It can be assumed that security of supply will continue to worsen in the future,” says McKinsey.

Renewables are causing similarly high price shocks in other parts of the world including Texas, Australia, and California.

Britain facing the possibility of the coldest winter for three decades. Dang global warming!

If we stop eating meat and eat more vegetables and fruit, the amount of organisms that eat CO2 will decrease and CO2 levels will rise !!

  2. I’ve come to the conclusion that Leftism (climate alarmism, Veganism, animal rights, MSM, Antifa etc) is a malaise that unless reality checked, eventually causes insanity.

Ho hum. Yawn. Enjoying oil burning heater right now and plenty of carnivore food in the fridge.

I think my first climate action under this wonderful new regime will be to ignore the vacuous bloviations of pompous, posturing, self-important twerps.

The New Yorker magazine graphic is a corker.
If the hysterical lefties believe this stuff, and avail themselves of their freshly minted euthanasia laws, the rest of us will enjoy our time on this fine greening planet in their absence. We’ll totally run out of Darwin Awards though.

This is the inevitable destination for this madness.

Well its an old saying ,an ounce of prevention is better than a ton of cure ,it may be too late to stop the insanity , however electric therapy may bring the masses to stamp this out when the only paeope who can afford power are the elites and people are dying if hypothermia in droves . It could nake the French Revolution look like a kids tea party .

How are the Kool Aid stocks trading?

It sustains 820,000 jobs domestically, produced total revenues of €423bn in 2017 and contributes around 5 per cent to German gross domestic product. More than 77 per cent of the cars produced in Germany are exported. But the industry is in trouble, hurt by trade tensions and the slowdown in China, its biggest market

    It’s actually a good thing they’re now admitting it’s a religious movement.

This is a very good text for use in teaching Middle Class Pinko-Speak, a foreign language that’s becoming widely used in our society in place of English.

Securing fair elections is a climate action.

Code for abolishing the Electoral College and stymieing voter ID laws.

Combatting extreme wealth inequality is a climate action.

i.e. taking money away from people who have earned it (or otherwise come by it lawfully e.g. inheritance) and giving it to people who have done nothing for it.

Shutting down the hate machines on social media is a climate action.

“Hate machine” = any social media account that isn’t 100% in line with approved thought. We all know who to trust when it comes to identifying what is and what isn’t a “hate machine”, don’t we?

    Instituting humane immigration policy,

I.e. open borders, and no deportation of illegal immigrant felons

advocating for racial and gender equality,

“equality” here means enforced equality of outcomes.

promoting respect for laws and their enforcement,

but not all laws, only ones that have middle class pinko approval (see e.g. “humane immigration” above)

supporting a free and independent press,

i.e. crushing unapproved websites and suppressing criticism of approved “journalists”

ridding the country of assault weapons

starting with the easy part of disarming the law abiding, and kicking the can down the road on criminals and terrorists.

The coldest winter in Britain for three decades…

Man-made global warming is obviously behind it.

Sensational. I’m loving the panic and desperation. Every day I meet another same person woke, thanks to the hysteria.

    Keep it coming thermogeddonists.
