Merry Christmas and a Happy Chanukah

May love, peace and contentment be your lot for the coming year.

And let me now add these:

All four all at the same time. We live in such political luxury for the moment.

Boris letting the Management team know that there will be no boat-rocking as far as their wishes are concerned.

That Trump video is utterly brilliant. To put it another way, humourless leftards have no frigging idea how to do memes and social media. It’s 100% guaranteed leftards will again be shocked and mystified when Trump thrashes whichever clown heads the Democrat ticket next November 3 — just like November 8, 2016. The only thing that could make it a close contest would be an American recession.

What an excellent snip by Boris. Now that’s an “inclusive” short speech. The very definition of it.

And a special Merry Christmas to the Diversity Council courtesy of an article on the Spectator Australia website (I don’t know if the link will work, as I have a subscription. If it doesn’t work use your own sub, or search the Speccie site).

    Good Christians:

Church leaders use Christmas message to call for climate action

“Church leaders are using their annual Christmas messages and sermons to intensify pressure on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to take greater action on climate change, backing striking school students and fire-affected citizens in calling for increased efforts to tackle global warming.”

    https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/church-leaders-use-christmas-message-to-call-for-climate-action-20191222-p53mau.html

    Wait. What?

    Bad Christian:

“Now you don’t have to convince me the climate is not changing, it is changing,” he (Barnaby Joyce) says.

“My problem has always been whether you believe new taxes are going to change it back.

“I just don’t want the government any more in my life, I am sick of the government being in my life.”

With the camera pointing to the sky, the former deputy prime minister urges Australians to respect God.

“There’s a higher authority that’s beyond our comprehension – right up there in the sky. And unless we understand that that’s got to be respected, then we’re just fools. We’re going to get nailed.”

What an uncivil and odd anti-cementite comment.

If the shoes rule the world secretly from a basement in Prague maybe it’s time for us to accept them as our betters.

We should have organised some traditional carols singers for outside their offices …

Interesting to watch sports bodies deal with Christmas. There were a whole bunch who wrote Happy Holidays and yet some that steadfastly wrote Merry Christmas on their social media. To the latter, good on you. To the former I promise it won’t hurt to say the word Christmas. I’m sure they did in their own offices…

Just read that article from the SMH…if you got to the end you got to the people talking sense: Archbishop Fisher (Sydney Catholics), Archbishop Davies (Sydney Anglicans) and Brian Houston (Hillsong). But if you struggled to get past the start you cop the Uniting Church leadership (out of kilter with every UCA member I know-and I know a lot), Father Bob (know for being far left), Bowers (the Gosford false prophet).
