Denialist ice formations refuse to accept the science

Glacier National Park is replacing signs that predicted its glaciers would be gone by 2020.

The signs in the Montana park were added more than a decade ago to reflect climate change forecasts at the time by the US Geological Survey, park spokeswoman Gina Kurzmen told CNN.
In 2017, the park was told by the agency that the complete melting off of the glaciers was no longer expected to take place so quickly due to changes in the forecast model, Kurzmen said.

Forecast models keep changing quicker than the climate?

    Ice nagas!

Indian state of Nagaland gets its first snowfall in 40 years (3 Jan)

Weird how global warming causes all this snow. I wonder what global cooling would do?

    That will teach ‘em.
The new signs won’t give a date beyond “real soon”

“There are variations in the climate but it is humans that have made all those variations warmer,” he said

Well, this is not a lie. Just ask the BOM how this is done. They’re “experts” at it.

However, just a small problem getting the satellites to bow to their “expertise”.

Don’t worry though, I am sure a few extra millions tossed into the trough will fix everything.

  5. Up The Workers!

We’ve evidently paid too much in “Repent and be saved” Green taxes, levies, charges, imposts, fines, excises, penalties, electricity, gas, oil, water and other such scams.

If they refunded a few trillions of it to the taxpayers, the temperatures would no doubt go back to normal.

Scotland’s wonderful natural landscape was sculpted by glaciers that disappeared 400 years ago. It was the Picts wot done it.

    I knew it!

Ice is in the pay of Big Oil.

Coincidentally I referenced that CNN story in a letter I sent to the Cairns paper this morning.

    The Editor

Professional pest controller Bob Boneham (CP, 10/1) said; “Everything’s more active in the summer up here, once it gets hot, wet and steamy. They all slow down in the winter, but as soon as it warms up, everything starts breeding and travelling.”

Yes, life loves warmth. During seasonal warmth we get fruit and flowers, animals bear young, the lawn grows wild, and people socialise at the beach. Why are greenies so scared of warmth?

CNN has reported that Glacier National Park in Montana is removing its 15-year-old signs which proclaimed the glaciers would have melted by 2020. Nonetheless an alarmist scientist insisted; “The glaciers have been here for 7,000 years and will be gone in decades.”

It begs the questions: “Why are the glaciers only 7,000 years old? Was it warmer before that?” Well yes, yes it was; it was called the “Holocene climatic optimum”, it was up to seven degrees warmer, and all life loved it.

Anyway, the Glacier National Park is removing the signs because its glaciers are growing – which is rather embarrassing for global warming alarmists. You see, water doesn’t lie; it’s subject to strict laws of physics. More ice means cooling, not warming.

Carbon dioxide cannot be causing climate change/global warming if the ice areas are growing – and they are. The climate hoax is about to collapse like a bug that just met Bob Boneham.

One thing is consistent: the glaciers in the park are shrinking.

One thing is consistent: the credibility of thermageddonists is shrinking, more like.

The linked article goes on to say:

“In Iceland, researchers bid farewell to the first glacier in the country lost to climate change. In a funeral-like gathering, scientists memorialized the glacier, known as Ok, with a plaque that read: “Ok is the first Icelandic glacier to lose its status as a glacier. In the next 200 years, all our glaciers are expected to follow the same path.”

Well, isn’t that remarkable? “LOSE its status” – not that it has actually disappeared. Language reveals the double standard: the glacier is still there but someone has acted to deny its status. No wonder people are to blame for this “climate emergency”!

Ok is the first Icelandic glacier to lose its status as a glacier.

    It’s located on a volcano.
    Just sayin’.

Yes, life loves warmth. During seasonal warmth we get fruit and flowers, animals bear young, the lawn grows wild, and people socialise at the beach. Why are greenies so scared of warmth?

Because, dear north Qld resident, is that the hairy legs, armpits, flabby stomachs and hollow chests of greenies don’t look good at the beach, and as they have to take off their coke bottle glasses to swim, they can’t oogle anyone else’s.

Sure we can legalise drugs, but we must surely ban ice.
