    Sky mentioning again that with new cars now being basically mobile computers, the good old days of competition enabling people to discover the lowest price that capable repairs could be done to their cars is over.

    The car companies locking up the codes that enable cars to be worked on means that the whole of life price of owning a car has gone up, the purchase price is just the start, the locked in closed loop running costs can be extortionate and the consumer has no choice.

    As the State genocides older vehicles off the road, so centrally State controlled robot cars can take over, the Obsolete Male idea of owning, driving and working on your own car will vanish from the earth, replaced with the reality of wymynsys primly sitting in a pod with no steering wheel and doing texting on their mobiles while the robot does the navigating.

    When welcoming the audience to “the season finale of the White House Correspondents’ dinner”, the Muslim comedian joked that “in a few weeks” he would be known as “Number 830287”.

    He should be grateful he is having Arabic Numerals given back to him – no more of this cultural appropriation!

    But it reminds me of a joke.

    Some poor bloke who has been rather derelict in his paying traffic fines is given a short custodial sentence. Owing to overcrowding of the prison system he is sent to one in a remote location, with non-violent long-termers.

    He is assigned to a cell with a jovial late middle aged fellow who fills him in on the place – the different programs the place runs, movie nights and such.

    They sit down at lunch and start eating. Someone on the other side of the hall calls out “45” whereupon the whole place bursts into laughter. A few minutes later someone else calls out “37”. Again, peels of laughter erupt.

    The newbie turns to his mentor and asks “What is the deal with the numbers?”

    “Well, most of us have been here so long that we know each others’ jokes. We eventually came to assign each joke a number so instead of running through the whole joke, we just say the number. It’s really convenient, especially in a big crowded room like this. You should try it.”

    “Really? Yeah, OK. I’ll give it a shot.” He clears his throat and then calls out “65”.

    The place erupts with all manner of guffaws, chortles, brayings, and good old fashioned belly-laughs. He is a little surprised by the scale of the reaction and turns quizzically to his cell-mate and asked “What was it? What did I say?”

    “Oh, that was great. That was brilliant. We haven’t heard that one before.”

    The 50% wymynsys quota is a weapon for fundemental change.

    The idea that anybody, regardless of gender, can do the job if they merit the position is racist and obsolete and priviliged and deplorable.

    All jobs must be transformed so that wymynsys can do them and be happy.

    If this means cutting work hours, making the jobs sociable, spending whatever it takes to make the job pleasant and clean and quiet, then the money must be spent.

    Fire department diversity employees for example will be able to chat amongst themselves whilst breastfeeding, as the robot firetrucks and the air support waterbombers put out the pile of smouldering leaves. Spend whatever it takes to deconstruct the framework of obsolete western culture because the revolution is relentless and to the death.

    Judith belled that cat in Teh Weekend Australian. Emperor Barney loaded WA up with about $40bn of “good debt” in the last 8 years. Shiny new roads, hospitals and circuses everywhere but still with billion dollar deficits and downgraded credit ratings.

    It’s all debt f*ckwits.

    Dutch Catholics failed to evangelise or catechise after Vatican II (not wanting to be seen to be imposing their beliefs on others, I suppose). As a result Mass attendance dropped from 90% of Catholics prior to Vatican II to 5% presently.

    It’s both fearfully grumbled in the real world, and online, but with Alphabet/google, ZuckerFace, DorckyTwit, Gate[s]Keeper et al running all their new silencing algorithms flat out, it’s getting harder to pick up on and follow the concerns about where and when money is coming from and going.

    But remember that we’ve also been through quite a lot of Advertising of how “Very Rich” Soros “is“, something the very rich don’t do, but those no longer so very rich, do, when they need to do a lot of borrowing against their “good name“, and nothing much else 😉 😀

    Last Tuesday a bunch of students at Yale decided to go on hunger strike for free stuff. It was an odd sort of hunger strike as the students would take breaks from it to go off for a bite to eat, then come back and resume. Sort of like not actually having a hunger strike.

    Zuckerberg’s project, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, says he visited Youngstown’s Eastern Gateway Community College Friday and met with people recovering from opioid addiction in Dayton Saturday. He has challenged himself to visit intimidate people in all 50 states.

    Security breach at Government House in Melbourne

    A MAN has been arrested on the roof of Government House in Melbourne in what appears to be a major security breach.

    Helicopter footage from Channel 9 News shows police handcuffing a man on the roof of the building in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

    Police were called in following reports of an intruder.

    The man climbed onto the roof at 7.45am.

    Victoria Police’s Critical Incident Response Team attended and arrested the man just before 8am.

    He remains on the roof and will be removed when it is safe to do so and will be taken to hospital for assessment.

    The investigation is ongoing.

    As cheques from the record-breaking Black Saturday class ­actions finally began flowing to bushfire survivors in December, many of the victims welcomed the payments as the end of another chapter in their emotional and financi­al recovery.

    Not Garry Angus. He, with an unquantified number of the thousands of claimants who joined the lawsuits, remained angry about Maurice Blackburn’s handling of the cases.

    The accountant from Pheasant Creek, just outside Kinglake, decided to put his money where his mouth is and sent back his cheque for $120,000.

    Now he is launching a website for fellow survivors to register their complaints about Maurice Blackburn’s administration of the settlement scheme.

    He hopes support from other aggrieved claimants will bolster his bid for a judicial review of the $494 million Kilmore East-Kinglake settlement and the $300m settlement for the Murrindindi-Marysville fire, announced in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

    “The only winners out of this have been Maurice Blackburn,” Mr Angus said.

    No promises for small states in GST review

    The federal government won’t guarantee Tasmania and South Australia will be no worse off under potential changes to the way GST revenue is carved up among the states.

    “You’re getting way ahead of yourself,” Finance Minister Mathias Cormann told ABC radio on Monday, after the Turnbull government ordered a revenue into the distribution of the consumption tax.

    “We have initiated a Productivity Commission review and we obviously can’t pre-empt what the findings and recommendations of that review will be.”

    Tasmanian Premier Will Hodgman has vowed to fight tooth and nail against any changes to the GST, declaring his state deserves its fair share.

    Senator Cormann, who hails from Western Australia, says the federal government had long acknowledged his home state’s slice of GST revenues was unacceptably low, and top-up payments offered to Perth in recent years were a short-term fix.

    Sierra Game King SP’s perform very,very well on pigs. Aforementioned pigs now having a new abode hanging in the cool room before meeting ye olde freezer tonite after breakup. One’s a little ‘un, 12kg carcass – so he’ll be on the spit this Saturday.

    They also do a great number on foxes at 300+ yards, although I think I prefer BT’s for them. Slightly better flight characteristics at longer ranges.

    Saw numerous deer, but all at night while spotlighting for foxes, and as we were south of the border left them alone.

    Looks like, along with the forests of OH&S documentation and union compliance crap, contractors will have to provide proof of affirmative action when they tender.

    All it means is that fewer and fewer small private companies will be tendering for lucrative contracts, which is just the way our union controlled governments want it.

    And it won’t just be government.

    You can bet your Blundstones that SJW-dominated Big Business will eagerly line up behind Big Government to drive this through their purchasing policies. Not “If” – only “When”. *

    If you have younger male relatives who carry the Privilege-crime of being white, male, heterosexual and not-a-Muslim – you should do them a favour and start suggesting they look outside Australia if they want a career or reasonable future. In Australia – it won’t be long before they are assigned a gender-equal job Cuban-style by the Ministry of Equality.

    It is an appalling state of affairs that such schoolyard arguments are being put up as a basis for national finances.

    Mind you, the current gender issue is essentially that the girls are not being allowed to play in the boys’s games because the boys are scared of girl-germs.

    Why on Earth should we pay any attention to Mr Hodgman on the impact of GST reform on Tasmanians? According to the Communist Grants Commission, Melbourne is the capital of Tasmania. So, we should only be paying attention to comments coming from Melbourne.

    True, this shameless act of sophistry was intended to allow the CGC to pretend that Western Australia shares its challenges in supplying government services across a vast area with a state the size of a postage stamp. But you can’t go picking and choosing what rules to apply, can you?
