I wonder if the same applies if they sang pro-Brexit songs?

England risk punishment by FIFA if fans sing pro-Brexit chants during World Cup game
Fifa confirmed the Football Association would be sanctioned if Three Lions supporters were found in breach of its rules on “displaying insulting or political slogans in any form” and “uttering insulting words or sounds” during Thursday’s match in Kaliningrad.
Asked what would happen if pro-Brexit chants were sung against Belgium, a spokesman said: “Of course, there is a risk of some kind of punishment to the FA.”
Thursday’s fixture is the first between England and Belgium since the UK voted to leave the European Union two years ago, which has been followed by tough negotiations between Westminster and Brussels.

Calli, Arlington we visited but drove passed the memorials for the Blue Ridge Mts just one week after peak fall. Spectacular.
Then to Charlottesville Va for a wild election eve night. The town was buzzing following big student political activity that afternoon. Not a suprise to hear of the later trouble there as everybody seemed to be passioate for their chosen candidate.
Set aside at least half a day for the Little Big Horn battle site. A mate and I spent 5 hours reconstructing the battle. The southern end is the more interesting though it lacks the exact markings of the north end. There is a low hill there where there are scratchings in the earth said to be made by soldiers digging in with the only tools at their disposal, mess utensils, while under Indian fire from the adjacent higher hill. Apparently only one of these Indians could shoot straight and quite a fight ensued.
Beware the sanctimonious N.P. Indians who gave us a hard time for what “we” had done to our aborigines.
Beware the bar in Livingstone Montana where we ended up and climaxed a great day with a loaded black powder pistol held to your forehead with threats to pull the trigger-unless you enjoy instant sobriety and moments of great calmness and lucidity.

Autism traits may be “edited” out using new genetic techniques, scientists have said, following a successful trial.

Researchers are hailing a breakthrough after they used cutting-edge gene editing to to significantly reduce repetitive behaviour associated with the disorder.

The technique, which was performed on mice, could also be developed to treat conditions ranging from opioid addiction and neuropathic pain to schizophrenia and epileptic seizures.

Scientists injected gold nanoparticles covered in a “forest” of DNA chains to alter the the genetic code of mouse models with a form of autism called fragile X syndrome (FXS).

Calli, if you’re driving across Ohio on the way to Gettysburg, have a look at this weird building in Newark. It’s just off the main road from Columbus, Ohio on the way to Wheeling, West Virginia (en-route to Pittsburgh).

Tel, the wiki article shows common knowledge about surveillance , agreed. NSA methods of hacking Google and Xbox, Fb algo manipulations etc are still pretty guarded I suspect.

Those details tend to be a treadmill, with exploits regularly getting made public and fixed. There’s always the rumours that the manufacturers provide back doors … but you know how it is with rumours. We don’t know exactly where the NSA sits on that treadmill as compared with the other runners, but it doesn’t matter for Hillary’s email because it was standard unencrypted email to a regular server so everything you need will be right there on the wire and pulling it all out and cleaning it up would be at the level of a high school senior’s project.

If President Trump has access to the NSA, and they don’t jerk him around, then he should have ALL of the “clintonemail” material (every single yoga class at his fingertips). How much of that is admissible evidence I don’t know… but there would be absolutely no loss of “source and methods” for the NSA to explain that they sniffed emails off the wire. Don’t forget, there’s still the tedious job of reading all those emails and pulling out the interesting ones, and the President is a busy man.

The American press have been precious arseholes for a long time.
Civil war commentary. Generals Grant and Meade, Army of the Potomac.

Grant made his headquarters with Meade for the remainder of the war, which caused Meade to chafe at the close supervision he received. Following an incident in June 1864, in which Meade disciplined reporter Edward Cropsey from The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper for an unfavorable article, all of the press assigned to his army agreed to mention Meade only in conjunction with setbacks. Meade apparently knew nothing of this arrangement, and the reporters giving all of the credit to Grant angered Meade.[17]

Nick, the kindest interpretation I can think of for this kind of crap is that some administrator somewhere is trying to bolster aboriginal self-esteem in the face of their overwhelming cultural inferiority. Same with welcome to country ceremonies and the like.

If the Democratic Party were an insane asylum, it’s clear — the inmates have now taken control.

    Take Maxine Waters, for instance.

This, her latest: “I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it is wrong what they’re doing on so many fronts but they tend to not want to confront this president. For these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant … to stop at a gas station … to shop at a department store, the people are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them,” she warned at a Los Angeles rally.

Trump has it all. He had it days after the election I’m sure courtesy of Adm. Rogers. Don’t forget NSA is primarily military and they are 1000% pro Trump. The key is to introduce the evidence legally so that indictments and charges THAT STICK will follow. That’s the process underway now.

BBC to boost diversity by ending shortlists with no black candidates

The BBC plans to increase the proportion of black and ethnic minority staff with its announcement that all shortlists for posts, above certain grades, will include at least one non-white candidate.

The new protocol will apply above the broadcaster’s band E – to middle and senior-ranking posts – including editors, producers and presenters. The organisation’s executive committee and divisional leadership teams will also have at least two people from ethnic minority backgrounds by 2020.

Currently there are no black people filling the 96 highest ranked leadership roles at the BBC.

More on the risks use reusing wastewater for drinking water.

New wastewater study reveals household chemical may contribute to ‘superbugs’

Antibiotic resistance is a global challenge with approximately 700,000 people a year dying from antimicrobial-resistant infections, but a recent wastewater study reveals triclosan – a compound used in more than 2000 personal care products – could be the leading cause of ‘superbugs’.

Triclosan is a non-antibiotic, antimicrobial (NAAM) chemical commonly used in toothpaste and hand wash, and University of Queensland study lead Dr Jianhua Guo said the high level of antibiotic resistance in residential wastewater indicated that this chemical may be a key culprit.

    Cartel behaviour.

Plus told that one major meat processor has leased a large acreage down south with grass on, especially so it can buy large numbers of ewes point of lambing, lamb them down, wean the lambs at eight weeks old, cut the heads off the ewes for mutton, then grow the lambs out for processing later.

It is an interesting dynamic: left wing organisations like the BBC and the ABC always need to institute quotas because lefties, when left to themselves, have an aversion to other races.

And it never occurs to them to find what obstacles are keeping other races from naturally rising and diffusing throughout an organisation – they don’t believe it is obstacles keeping them out. It is because they are black, or whatever.

Zolkowski initially gave contradicting accounts of what she claimed happened at the school.

She reportedly told police she was walking to her car when a man grabbed her from behind and [email protected] her without a condom while holding her face and throat, and said she only saw the man’s hands and that he fled in a car before she could see his face.

Zolkowski refused a physical exam after the alleged incident, the news outlet reported in August 2017.

When investigators met with her a second time, Zolkowski reportedly said the suspect was an acquaintance and she had been [email protected] at an apartment.

The student at the time apologized for her confusion, adding she didn’t want to press charges. In a third interview with police, Zolkowski reportedly changed her story again — telling police she wanted to tell the suspect to stop during s3x, but it ended before she was able to do so.

Zolkowski, who pleaded guilty to making a false report of a felony, faced up to four years in prison and a $2,000 fine.

    Italy’s far-right League party seizes left-wing strongholds

Candidates backed by Matteo Salvini’s far-right League emerged victorious in Italian municipal elections held on Sunday. They took a trio of left-wing bastions in Tuscany, ensuring the decline of the center-left Democratic Party.

Salvini’s right-wing alliance took control of Siena, Pisa and Massa, confirming the popularity of the 45-year-old interior minister and his Euroskeptic, anti-immigrant message, according to final results on Monday morning.

Salvini’s League has been running Italy alongside the anti-establishment Five Star Movement since June 1, but in local elections it had joined forces with Forza Italia, the center-right party led by Silvio Berlusconi, and the far-right Brothers of Italy.

The office is tasked with “policy relating to women, sexual orientation and transgender equality.”

Gotta run JC, people to meet but as I said yesterday you should probably seek help.

JC was exposed as a liar, fairly comprehensively, on this blog on June 22nd, 2015. He’s been ranting on about “Roonery”, whoever “Roonery” is, ever since, and it’s a bit difficult to escape the conclusion that the silly old duffer really is losing his mind. I don’t know why he persists in all his fantasies about being a currency trader, or buying an apartment in New York, it’s my considered opinion that “wifey”, whoever she is, is having the old fool quietly certified as insane.

The Red Hen was out of line.

Can’t see it. The owner decided to deny service and informed the offensive diner discreetly and politely. Perfectly entitled to do so based on recent SCOTUS decisions, and didn’t need to be either discreet or polite. Could have refused to bake a cake for the diner or provide her with flowers if she’d wanted to. SCOTUS would have no problem with that.

Mike Huckabee commented on his daughter being expelled from the Red Hen Eatery on the Laura Ingraham radio show (at 1m 50sec)
Huckabee claims the owner of the Red Hen restaurant subsequently followed their group to another restaurant, called a mob together to help in the stalking, and then led the mob in further harassment of the Huckabee family.

The Supreme Court is doing wonderful things, basically reversing Leftism and imposing Rightism. Which is what all legal systems should ultimately do, using any rationale that fits. That’s how Leftist judges operate, and so should ours.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that a California law aimed at so-called crisis pregnancy centers operated by anti-abortion activists should be blocked because it appears to violate the First Amendment.

All the high court’s Republican appointees backed the 5-4 ruling, while the Democratic appointees dissented. The ruling makes it all but certain that lower court rulings blocking the law will remain in place.

  182. Fisky

I’ve long said that right-wing judges should stop using “originalist” arguments, and just fall back on anti-Leftism. It is always justified to reverse and even oppress Leftism. SCOTUS should abolish Obamacare tomorrow, and not even bother to write up a judgment, just issue an announcement with the title “Obamacare is gone, suck it bitches!” and overturn thousands of pages of legislation at a stroke.

All issues should be dealt with in this way. There is no need for legal theory anymore, just doing the right thing by your gang.

The most trusted media organization in the country.
Probyn is embarrassing their ABC to no end. It’s like a dishonest fuck up every week with that little WA pipsqueak. It’s not the lie that’s the problem, they absolutely hate apologizing making them look really bad.

The ABC has been forced to apologise for incorrectly claiming that Malcolm Turnbull was responsible for the decision to hold five federal by-elections on July 28, the same weekend that Labor planned to hold its national conference.

The responsibility for calling by-elections rests with the Speaker of the lower house, Tony Smith.

A correction, released by the ABC yesterday afternoon, claimed that reporter Andrew Probyn’s story “attributed that decision to the Prime Minister despite him having denied earlier that day that he had made the decision”.

“The story should have included that denial and a similar statement from the Speaker. ABC News apologises for the error.”

It is understood the public broadcaster was forced to apologise after it was contacted by the Turnbull government.

Lol. I don’t mind obnoxious attitude like yours, but I don’t tolerate stupidity. The Harley threat is ridiculous. They’re trying to sell hogs in a high bike tariff world and agent Orange wants them to go broke. Harley sales are flagging in the US and the stock is down around 30% this year. The EU just fucked Harley with retaliatory tariffs, as a result of Trump stoushing with the EU over trade and now Trump threatens them because they want to set up in Thailand – a 60% tariff country. Put the hard word on Thailand for being dicks. Harley is just trying to make a buck. This is why, as Boris said, trade wars are stupid (and also you).

Also stop roostering and answer the question. Do you want Harley to stop production in Ausatralia and go home?
