Manufacturer that burned as Minneapolis protests turned violent plans to relocate from city

A Minneapolis manufacturing company has decided to leave the city, with the company’s owner saying he can’t trust public officials who allowed his plant to burn during the recent riots. The move will cost the city about 50 jobs.

“They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”

    Universal healthcare for some.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WAVE) – Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday announced the state will begin working toward correcting racial inequalities in health care coverage, among other areas, across the state.

“We are gonna begin an effort to cover 100 percent of our individuals in our black and African-American communities,” the governor said. “We’re gonna be putting dollars behind it.”

Beshear said his goal is for every black Kentuckian to get “signed up for some form of coverage.”

“I believe health care is a basic human right,” he said, adding that he’s not yet sure how to accomplish the task, but he said he aims for all black residents in Kentucky to either be on Medicare or Medicaid if they don’t have private health insurance.

  7. Knuckle Dragger

7-Sigma Inc will be that ‘new normal’ everyone seems to be banging on about.

  8. Knuckle Dragger

Furthermore, those cities including Minneapolis would do well not to follow the Handsome Her Cafe business model, or they’ll go….

    Oh. Right.

An inevitable response…and there’ll be more of this. The problem is that the people and businesses who leave blue states and move to red states….then turn red states them into a progressive messes…this is what is happening in Texas.

NSW Police gave the green light to the Sydney Black Lives Matter rally in an email sent two days before the event, the state’s top court has ruled, and their steps to reverse that authorisation failed.

In a judgment on Tuesday setting out its reasons for declaring Saturday’s protest an authorised public assembly, the NSW Court of Appeal said police signalled they did not oppose the march in an email to organiser Raul Bassi on Thursday, June 4.

The authorisation protected protesters from being charged with offences relating to obstructing roads or vehicles during the march, but not assault and other offences unrelated to peaceful protest.

Cassie – Blue people keep moving. Eventually the circle will return to the beginning and start all over again. Red people will stay with their home state.

So the NSW Liberal Government A-Ok’d the protest and while pretending it was against it.

    Goodbye NSW Liberal government.

In my little outback Qld town restrictions are being eased a bit but you wouldn’t know. Nobody rushing out to shop. Social distancing in the pubs destroys any bonhomie of the place. You just can’t take money out of people’ pockets and expect life to go on as normal. The politicians and bureaucrazies know not what they have wrought.
Anyway from next week I’ll be able to see a coal-fired power station from my place. Sweet.

Lot of money to be made cleaning up and rebuilding all them Democrat cities. Now to whom will all those billion dollar contracts go I wonder?

A while ago I looked up the provision of these.

    https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/san-francisco-public-toilets-homeless-cost-200000-64726144
San Francisco public toilets help homeless, cost $200,000
In San Francisco, portable toilets that cost $200,000 apiece to operate are seen as a key element to helping homeless and cleaning up sidewalks.

Attendants who are paid the city’s minimum wage of $16 an hour…

At least 2 of the groups have almost completely opaque finances, a perfect recipe for funneling money through a not for profit for political donations…

Today, the staffed bathrooms have grown from three to 25 locations

    https://www.businessinsider.com.au/san-francisco-public-pit-stop-toilets-cost-per-flush-2019-12?r=US&IR=T
The cost of operating the stations overnight amounts to $US30 per flush.

Harry O’Brien used to be a half-decent running half-back flanker for the mighty Pies. Developed a bit of a cult following, you might say. Lairy hair, ebony features (he’s from PNG you see) sprinting all over the place. Couldn’t kick for shit but was generally okay.

Anyway, when during the Adam Goodes ridiculousness Eddie McGuire made the mistake of suggesting he could play King Kong in an upcoming movie, O’Brien – soon to rename himself Hertier Lumumba- demanded a personal apology to himself from McGuire. Needless to say, he didn’t get it because he wasn’t the target of anything.

So poor old Hertier/Harry did the only reasonable thing. He got off his tits on magic mushrooms and blamed it on the entire club. And the league itself.

‘Without a specific support network within the club/league that could cater to my specific needs, I used psilocybin (magic mushrooms) out of desperation to deal with my distressed state, which subsequently helped me to confront CFC (Collingwood) over the issues.’

A specific support network. Just for Harry. Because a 13 year old called an Australian indig an ape, which clearly burnt at his extremely different headhunting origins. Flog doesn’t even begin to describe it, although it might explain a potential positive drug test or 12.

On the upside, it was around that time the Pies realised Harry was a better woke spokesman than footballer, son the fucked him off to Melbourne in 2014, where he played 24 beige games before retiring with what was politely referred to as ‘concussion issues’.

He’s struck hard times and could do with a wallet injection, so naturally:

‘Lumumba, 33, now wants the AFL and his former club to acknowledge the negative impact their lack of support had on his mental health.’

An Open Letter to Hertier Lumumba:

    Dear Harry,

    Fuck off.

    Defund the police!

Indeed. The only reason the Left is calling for this in the USA is because they don’t control it. Tucker makes the point re the Left’s calls against the military 30 years ago; they stopped because they finally control it, e.g. Mattis. In Oz, they control the police more or less as evidenced by Pell affair, by bills being sent to speakers not protectors, and most recently by their waving through BLM protests but criminalizing anti-lockdown protests.

  29. Bar Beach Swimmer

he’s not yet sure how to accomplish the task

He sounds like standard run-of-the-mill politician who makes some grandiose promise (you can’t call it a plan because there’s nothing to it) using OPM but doesn’t know sh1t from clay.

I’m thinking pink batts, school halls, NBN, Snowy 2.0, Submarines, Government hibernating an economy, the list goes on…

    Liberal . . . Labor . . . liberal . . . Liberal . . . Labor . . .

Yep Bob Carr abolished plans to build the Welcome Reef dam on the Shoalhaven River and turned the land set aside for the dam into a National Park. This meant Sydney had no option but to build a desalination plant. Now we are stuck with increasing the size of the deal plant rather than building a dam. Just another example where Labor takes us down the wrong path. Plus Gladys has got NSW debt free

  31. So why don’t the Liberals repeal Carr’s stupid green left nonsense?

That’s right…it is not about “defunding”….that’s just their cute label…a label designed to appeal to adolescent middle class marxist white scum. It is specifically about politicising and controlling the police for their own political and social ends….they’ve successfully done it in Victoria and they’ve done it in other places across the globe….like the UK, Portland Oregon etc.

    KD,

O’Brien/Lumumba was actually of African/Brazilian lineage. Moved to WA when he was three.

  35. Neil

So why don’t the Liberals repeal Carr’s stupid green left nonsense?

If you are replying to my post i guess because we have already sunk billions into the desal plant and there is no going back. No money left for a dam.

Plus Bob Carr turned the land set aside for a dam on the Shoalhaven River into a National Park. It would be tough to reverse that legislation.

Labor has taken us down the desalination path and now we are stuck on it.

  36. It would be tough.

Goodbye Harlem shuffle, hello Liberal flounce.

we have already sunk billions into the desal plant and there is no going back. No money left for a dam.

But there’s unlimited billions for this pandemic nonsense. Not to mention all the hospital space needed to accommodate late term abortions on demand . . .

Plus Bob Carr turned the land set aside for a dam on the Shoalhaven River into a National Park. It would be tough to reverse that legislation.

NSW is reduced to only one suitable site for a dam . . . ?

Labor has taken us down the desalination path and now we are stuck on it.

    Yeah . . . right.

  39. Neil

    Yeah . . . right.

Yep i guess so. But i suspect the Liberals just don’t want to go through the hassle of reversing legislation and release the land for a dam on the Shoalhaven. Plus something like that should have been built years ago before we needed the extra water. Building a dam would take a long time and we need the water now

Fact is labor has taken us down the desal path because they do not like dams and now we are stuck with it. Currently Gladys is increasing the size of the desal plant

    Neil,
what the last few months have shown is that no matter how fiscally able a govt is/looks, any day it can all be blown. So if the right of centre parties don’t start fighting for cultural/social stuff the electorate is doomed. Because sooner or later the other side gets in and trashes the finances on its way to permanently altering Australia.

We’ve just discovered that the NSW Police did not oppose that march. Who is in charge here? It sure as hell doesn’t look like the Premier! As Cassie pointed out up thread, the abortion laws came in under a supposedly Coalition govt. Astounding! The greyhounds under Baird. There are many more decisions that go against what the Right want from govt.

Spearheading the global race to find and distribute a COVID vaccine, Jane Halton has a warning that should make Australians listen.

    Note the hotel.

On October 18 last year, Jane Halton was one of 16 world experts gathered in the ballroom of New York City’s neoclassical Pierre Hotel to talk pathogens and plagues and panic in the streets. A novel coronavirus had leapt from animal to human and a deadly respiratory disease was now sprinting across continents. “We could be looking at double the cases in a week and 16 times as many in a month if we are not able to stop the spread,” the pandemic emergency board was told.

Joining Halton at the table were leaders from business, government, security and public health: a former deputy director of the CIA and former deputy national security adviser; Centre for Disease Control heads from China, the US and Nigeria; and senior figures from the UN Foundation, the World Bank Group, the World Economic Forum, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Unsmiling and resolute, they jotted notes as now-familiar TV images of patients on ventilators and the horrifying roll call of predictions continued. The global economy would be in freefall. Social order would collapse. In 18 months, 65 million people could be dead.

Doctor Jane reckons hydroxychloroquine is dangerous even though it has been used for decades.

“Precisely,” she says. “So let’s have a Plan B in the back of our head and be able to enact it.” Not President Trump’s favourite, hydroxychloroquine, which is “not safe”, she says, “but there are other therapies that are starting to demonstrate benefits.” Hundreds of potential treatments are currently being tested in more than 1100 clinical trials around the world. “We know that work on therapy will probably happen faster than the work on vaccines.”

It is a sad thing that Australia is just a bunch of states arguing for their individual status, there is no united Australia.
The idea of keeping the country as one has fallen down, the Federal government has just looked after themselves & ignored the people of this land.
They have even put together some national bull shit commitee that none of us voted for & all for this scamdemic that is proving to be a joke.

Something tells me she might be leaning ever so slightly towards the “shut up and take your vaccine” point of view. She is entitled to speak her opinion, and I’m happy to listen to her opinion, but I might balance that out by also listening to a few alternative opinions as well if nobody has a problem with that.
