Rumour has it that a Covid Mohamed Uber driver with three jobs is doing the Old Typhoid Mary Trick in Northern suburbs of Melbourne , he also works in a supermarket and pizza delivery cafe . Wonder if Vicpol are investigating as thoroughly as they did the Pell case ? If so it wont be long before Mohameds medical career is over . Still it does keep Dan Xia Vic out of the light of public scrutiny .

So the Lincoln Project is a scam.

I would presume from their name that they are attempting to start a civil war, “By Any Means Necessary” and seems to be doing what it says on the box. What part is a scam?

The administration believes that taking a pair of shears to red tape will help beat the coronavirus and simultaneously boost an economic recovery.

The Western Australia Premier, Mark McGowan, has signalled a similar effort in W.A., albeit on a smaller scale. Two weeks ago he announced that he’s going to stop local governments from involving themselves in some building projects, thus allowing people to build pergolas, sheds, carports etc. as they choose without a requirement for local government permission and oversight.

He said that would reduce the cost of these building projects and act as an employment incentive.

    >> “largest deregulation effort in modern history.”

The Trump quote about coronavirus response getting a lot of out-of-context airplay by the Left recently has been the “I don’t take responsibility at all” (White house, 13 March) quotation.
Oddly enough, much less frequently quoted is his statement “The states have authority” (16 April).
Wikipedia says about healthcare “the federal government cedes primary responsibility to the states under the McCarran-Ferguson Act” of 1945 and that every state has its own health departments, health insurance regulations, and hospitals, and police powers to enforce health laws. The AHA in 2016 showed that less than 4% of all hospitals are federally owned. Virtually everything is Community, Private, or State owned. So he wasn’t incorrect in this statement.

Sounds to me like the only extent to which POTUS has any coronavirus responsibility is over the CDC, FDA, and the immigration rules. His lack of foresight was in dismantling the Global Pandemic Response Team and withdrawing the CDC from China in 2017, though this was consistent with his political rhetoric of looking out for America first, not being the whole world’s doctor and police. Cutting the red tape this year to let people devise solutions to their own problems should upscale the response, not throttle it.

The Progressives keep looking to Big Government to Do Something rather than the States that actually have the legal responsibility and most of the production capacity. The Left are looking for political point scoring rather than health solutions.

    From Russia Today:

There may finally be an end in sight. Two weeks after Russia’s home-grown Covid-19 vaccine was administered to a group of volunteers, there have been no negative side-effects, raising hopes that mass immunization may be possible.

Volunteers from the first group feel good and have no complaints about their health,” said a Ministry of Defense press release. “Over the past two weeks, there have been no serious side-effects.”

Volunteers in the second testing group, who received the injection five days later, also report zero adverse reactions.

The testing of Russia’s coronavirus vaccine is being carried out jointly by the country’s Ministry of Defense and the Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, located in Moscow. In early June, volunteers were selected from a mixture of military personnel and civilians.

On June 30, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin that trials should be over by the end of July. It’s expected that the vaccine will be registered in August and be put into mass production as early as possible.

According to Alexander Ginzburg, the Institute’s director, it’s hoped that, after a secondary ‘booster’ injection, immunity will last for two years. The country plans to produce up to 70 million doses, and health organizations are already preparing for a large-scale production effort.

Boeing communications boss Niel Golightly resigns over sexist article

Boeing communications boss Niel Golightly has resigned over a sexist article he wrote three decades ago opposing women’s service in the military.

Golightly stepped down Thursday as Boeing’s senior vice president of communications following an employee complaint about the 1987 article, which he called “embarrassingly wrong and offensive.”

“At issue is not whether women can fire M-60s, dogfight MiGs, or drive tanks,” Golightly, then a US Navy lieutenant, wrote in a US Naval Institute magazine. “Introducing women into combat would destroy the exclusively male intangibles of war fighting and the feminine images of what men fight for — peace, home, family.”

“My article was a 29-year-old Cold War navy pilot’s misguided contribution to a debate that was live at the time,” Golightly said in a statement. “The dialogue that followed its publication 33 years ago quickly opened my eyes, indelibly changed my mind, and shaped the principles of fairness, inclusion, respect and diversity that have guided my professional life since.”

‘Alchemy of energy’: Breakthrough offers mass hydrogen storage options

University of NSW researchers led by Kondo-Francois Aguey-Zinsou say they have developed metal alloys capable of storing surplus electricity in the form of hydrogen much more cheaply than lithium batteries to take advantage of the renewables rush.

“You can call me an alchemist, if you will,” Professor Aguey-Zinsou said, laughing. “It is a game changer in how we use electricity – it’s like the internet revolution.”

    More Trumpening!

President Trump gave a fiery address at Mount Rushmore Friday night claiming that the ‘left-wing cultural revolution’ aimed to overthrow the American Revolution, painting a dark picture of the Black Lives Matter protests that have rocked the nation.

On the eve of the Fourth of July holiday, Trump’s message was about us versus them, calling those who didn’t support him ‘bad, evil people.’

He tossed red meat to a packed crowd of supporters – a majority of whom were not wearing masks nor practicing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 – telling them ‘we will never abolish the police’ and ‘we stand tall we stand proud and we only kneel to almighty God.’

And announced that he was creating a new monument, called the ‘national garden of American heroes,’ which he described as a ‘vast outdoor park that will features the statues of the greatest American who ever lived.’

Trump also vowed to deploy federal law enforcement ‘to protect our monuments, arrest the rioters and prosecute offenders to the furthest extent of the law.’

He promised Mount Rushmore, which loomed above him – and would serve as a backdrop for fireworks after his speech – would never be touched.

Seeing as gender is fluid, I am going to have some children by this bloke!

Postal rates: Why is the US threatening to leave the UN system?

Emergency talks are being held at the UN this week over threats from the US to withdraw from a 145-year-old postal treaty.

The agreement sets rates for sending packages between 192 countries.

But the US says discounted prices for countries like China are putting its businesses at a massive disadvantage.

    4 July 2020
How the United Nations is smashing Australian businesses by making it cheaper to order goods from CHINA than from local sellers

There are growing calls for Australia to tear up a United Nations agreement which makes shipping online goods from China cheaper than buying from local suppliers.

The Universal Postal Union is a specialised UN agency which regulates international postage prices so that disadvantaged developing nations can afford to send and receive vital goods.

But under the agreement, China, the world’s second largest economy, is considered a developing nation and countries such as Australia are forced to pay as much as double.

The Bible (from Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία, tà biblía, “the books”)[1][a] is a collection of sacred texts or scriptures. The Bible is generally considered to be a product of divine inspiration and a record of the relationship between God and humans by Christians, Jews, Samaritans, Rastafari and others. The Bible appears in the form of an anthology, a compilation of texts of a variety of forms that are all linked by the belief that they collectively contain the word of God. A man wakes up one morning in Alaska to find a bear on his roof. So he looks in the yellow pages and sure enough, there’s an ad for “Bear Removers.”
He calls the number and the bear remover says he’ll be over in 30 minutes. The bear remover arrives and gets out of his van. He’s got a ladder, a baseball bat, a shotgun and a mean old pit bull.

“What are you going to do,” the homeowner asks?

“I’m going to put this ladder up against the roof, then I’m going to go up there and knock the bear off the roof with this baseball bat. When the bear falls off, the pit bull is trained to grab his testicles and not let go. The bear will then be subdued enough for me to put him in the cage in the back of the van..”
He hands the shotgun to the homeowner. “What’s the shotgun for?” asks the homeowner.

“If the bear knocks me off the roof, shoot the dog.”

They should never be given this power if a million die of a disease.
You don’t imprison the healthy no matter what.
    NO MATTER WHAT.
The point is nobody, for any reason has the right to imprison law abiding healthy citizens.

Be fucking hysterical if you like, but when you are , realise you’re a frigging female and shut your fat trap toward men who can think clearer in times like that and not berate them.

    It’s not ending without bloodshed.
And those thinking you can narrate the situation from the relative calm of other states, you’re kidding yourselves aren’t you?
So you let these arseholes divide us more by separating Victorians away from the rest of us as if it isn’t coming our way.
This is theatre on a massive scale and if it wasn’t political, politicians would not be involved, like they never used to be in emergencies.
As if you’re not going to be relocked down as well, and get used to your new world order.

Imagine how great it will be for these arseholes to have us all again not knowing if we are coming or going, locked down, not locked down, based on their decree, with the added bonus of us at each other’s throats blaming other state’s residents of the same fucking country.
    Keep playing into their hands.
Don’t blame Victorians, we were all locked down and can be again at a seconds notice.
We fucked up as a nation by self isolating right at the start.

Now these fuckers, of all states and not just Victoria know they can do it again at any time.

So no One Nation in E-M?

Apparently not. I know the lnp are grotesque but the SFF preferencing the liars is galling.

the suburbs in question are very much populated with a certain demographic that it would be racist to mention.

Per Trump, increased testing only revealing an issue that’s been there all along, regardless of ethnicity?
Pick on a few “problem” suburbs to focus your testing on?

  201. miltonf

Dunno cohenite- I’m convinced the Gladishocklian government is worse than labor. The abortion ambush was despicable. Someone here, I can’t remember who, warned what was going to happen too.

Sexual racism is racism. If you’re white & you find yourself writing off an entire ethnic group from your dating or sex life because you can’t imagine finding them attractive, recognise this as a learnt behaviour which originates in white supremacy.

So this bbc/guardian opinion writer has only applied this rule to whites?

    Bald racist moron.

    Haha.

  206. Knuckle Dragger

    Brilliant.

The houso flats in rickw’s 7.02 clip are in Flemington and North Melbourne, and are known colloquially as ‘the caves’. The first thing you learn when you go near them is (1) never park your car within throwing range of any window on any floor, so the jacks have failed for a start.

Second, always – always, look up as you’re approaching the entrance, as the cave dwellers have developed a habit of trying to drop car batteries and bits of broken concrete and glass on you as you go in.

I don’t know what advice the ‘decision makers’ got, but it’s badly wrong. You cannot and will not lock that shit down for days. Regardless of there only being ground floor ingress/egress, they just get in and out like scabies-ridden teleporters.

Just watch for the herd of ambulances that will be parked there over the next week, transporting ’emergencies’ to St. Vinnie’s or the Alfred, from which they will wander off and infect like-minded scrotes and/or ice dealers.

If you’re a nanna who just broke her hip anywhere in Melbourne – sorry. The shitrats who contribute exactly zero to society are getting all the help. Again.

  207. Seems the “Black Lives Matter” demonstration in Brisbane today was a bit of a rockshow. Less then a thousand people turned out.

The Brisbane Courier-Mail says there was more than Three Thousand.

Either way, Queensland Police stood there like limp dicks & let it happen.

  208. Knuckle Dragger

Even if they do keep some people in the caves for the duration, the bigger job will be keeping all the dealers’ customers out.

It’d be great comedy, if it wasn’t at the expense of normal people.

  209. jupes

Ken Hinkley is looking sad at the minute.

  210. rickw

I wonder how many of these are getting cobbled together in Flemington tonight? Although a car battery from the 13th floor would be way more dangerous.

Yep..and it is quite beautiful to watch Barilaro detonate the bomb under Photios. Photios and his lapdogs in the NSW Libs have brought this on themselves.

  213. miltonf

    So why didn’t Barilaro run?

  214. miltonf

It’s not just the NSW libs IMO- look at the Senators from Vicco.

    the Gizza (Ghislaine)

Jut saying. The “h” and the “s” are silent, and her name is said as “Gilaine”.

So, maybe call her “Gila”? She is after all supposed to be a monster.

  216. MemoryFault

So no One Nation in E-M?

Pauline and One Nation are finally growing up as a political entity, and have learned minor parties and independents do NOT contest federal by elections. Especially in closely contested seats.

A win by either Labor or Liberal was always a foregone conclusion. Everybody else were simply wasting time and money. And/or feeding egos.

Liberal Democrats can safely not bother with any HoR seats in future. Wasting paper.

Riccardo did not do well. Less than 1% of the votes.

    Labor win again.

    On with the show.

Gizza Maxwell will not be treated differently in jail due to chickness.

I have consulted my feelings chart, and it tells me that rot was stopped quite some time back.
